✓ Good game but...The game I've noticed crashes and freezes a lot... It gets annoying... The controls are familiar but when directing characters, tends to not go where you want them to and needs to be fixed, would like to get more gold and stats at end of battle so it makes the game kind of drag, all in all awesome concept but needs more detail like weapon upgrade system or being able to have a fourth character instead of three :/.Version: 1.1
✓ Freezes constantly Ipad2Besides the constant freezing and program terminating. On top of the relentless grinding if you do not pay more after the 99 cents to gain a fourth member in your party or pass stage 2 earned this title 2 stars. Should an update or 4 fix the freezing and they offered it free, with the grinding still the same, I could see it doing better. Funny theme, and enjoyable ideas. Near implayable as is..Version: 1.0

✓ Takes after battle heart....but worseThe second level boss is beyond impossible. Listen to what the others say! They made this game to collect your money! It's impossible to beat the second boss! Also, they need to hire a spell-checker. 'Dragging' is spelled draging, and Resume is spelled Resmue. Just a little to show this game wasn't fully quality tested before it's release. On top of the fact it hangs randomly makes this game my back-shelf game to play when I'm feeling like getting screwed over by sucky difficulty ramp-ups. I can't possibly imagine how bad it gets with the third level boss!.Version: 1.1

✓ Sneaky...This is a good game but in order to get the 4th character which you need to pass the 3rd boss, you have to either earn 3,300 coins or purchase them. The "sneaky" thing is, that once you save up 1500 coins, you can only earn 1 coin per battle... Which makes it nearly impossible to actually earn the 4th character (unless you play 1500+) battles to earn the coins. Sneaky!.Version: 2.5

✓ So ExpensiveIt's Battleheart in a Final Fight suit, only the earned experience has been replaced with a virtual currency and a slew of in-app purchases. More than I like to see in a paid app, if I am honest. EDIT: Black Pearl have reduced the price of the app, the cost of a few of the more ridiculous upgrades, and given those of us who paid initially a small bonus. I'll still not be able to progress too far without purchases, or weeks of grinding, but cannot help but be impressed by a developer who listens to criticism and will add two stars to this review. I believe I will follow Black Pearl's games in future; purchase-free, premium titles especially..Version: 1.2

✓ Very greedy developersTo be honest i think this game is very fun. The gameplay is similar to battle heart or hero vs monsters. But it has more contents and dynamic character growth. All characters are very cool. I feel this game could be top rated easily but it is ruined by IAP. Do u really think people would be so stupid and spend like a hundred dollars to just beat this 1,99 game? No, people will just walk away and go for other ones cuz there are TONS choices out there. ✓ Auto battleI like the game and have even spent real money from time to time. The grind gets real tho. Would be nice to have an auto fight option so your characters track enemies and use abilities(wisely, not just whenever it's available) would add another layer of strategy to the game..Version: 2.7.9
✓ Still freezes occasionally, 2nd boss ridiculously hardThe game is freezing less than it used to on my iPad 2, but now that I can actually play and get to the 2nd boss...I spent $4 on 600 power points and about an hour and a half trying to beat the 2nd boss. And I cant' grind because I only get 1 point from battles now. I've had no problems beating battle heart or raid leader...I think this is just stupidly hard to get people to make IAP which is annoying. I was hoping that the power and money won from battles would increase but it doesn't seem to change much. And identifying items takes the profit out of grinding even more. So having to pay 5999 for extra characters??? Come on. Would you buy a board game from a store of it didn't come with everything needed to finish the game? It's just bad packaging..Version: 1.1

✓ Heavy grindSimilar gameplay to battleheart and hvm along with similar problems. Characters get in each others way, and frequently die because they are unable to be selected. ✓ Great concept, but crashes frequentlyGameplay is pretty good - can get quite messy with more gang members, since you have to 'control' each member's actions individually. Nonetheless, it is quite an interesting concept and worth the download. However, the game crashes far too frequently for it to be playable, let alone enjoyable. ✓ Fun, but needs workThe fighting system is cool, but trying to select a character when two are standing next to each other is difficult and frustrating. The prices are definitely outrageous. I get about 10-15 power after a battle and I need 2,500 for a 4th member or 1,500 for revival ability. Either I pay lots of real money to buy power or I play the same battles over and over again. I'm stuck on the level 2 boss. If you think I'm going to pay for powers to beat him or play the same battle 100+ times, you're wrong. ✓ Not very honest...Hey Devs, So far this game is fun. But asking me to review when I’ve only just begun to check it out is dishonest. How can I review only a few levels? If I was reviewing what I’ve experienced as a finished project I’d give you a 1. But I’m cool with giving you 3 until I can come back and update it when I’ve properly checked it out. I feel like it’ll either go up to 4-5 if it keeps on like it hope it will or it’ll drop down to a 1 if it lets me down. Also, put in some cool new characters already. I’d give some suggestions but for all I know you might have already put some of those guys in and I’m just not far enough to tell. LOL.Version: 2.8.1
