✓ Way too many bugs!I was really excited to see an app of my favourite PC game! It looks great! However, there are a number of bugs that prevent you from playing the game. 1) You can't place flights on the planner. The icon for the flight moves wherever your finger goes, making it impossible to put in one place. 2) When calling it a day, you can't press the 'yes' button. Sometimes the whole fake gets stuck Please fix these two bugs in the next update!.Version: 1.1
✓ Buggy game. Bad portPlayed this on the PC years ago, good game. However, poor port over to iOS. Controls are very poor. It's meant to be played with a mouse, clicking on something to look at and it auto selects it whether you want it or not. ✓ Poor controlIt's basically the PC version. The interface is not optimized for touchscreen, making it very difficult to control. Unplayable due to various bugs, e.g. cannot exit a menu, cannot use the right click where the game assumed player needs to click, font too small, etc. Unless the control was improved I would advise to stay away on the iPad version..Version: 1.1

✓ Great game but needs more attentionHaving played and loved the PC version of this, I was excited to see the iOS port. The gameplay is detailed, the graphics perfectly good, and on the iPad at least, the screen doesn't seem as cluttered as some conversions. Why not 5 stars then? Well, the controls are just too fiddly. The lack of signposted exits has never presented much of a problem as a veteran of the original. The text is also perfectly legible on the 10 inch screen. The problem is far deeper than that. Even something as simple (and important) as timetabling flights is very frustrating. You cannot drag anything. Scheduling flights requires you to make hundreds of clicks to get the order where you want it, and it is very hard to build a plane, if you can't put a component down until you've used it. This may sound trivial, but some parts of the game are next to unplayable. Definately worth the 2 stars off. On a more positive note, it was refreshing to see that my cheat code still works!!!.Version: 1.1

✓ Loved it on the PC...difficult to play on iPadI was a huge fan of this game back when it was band new on the PC, so much I kept checking for when the sequel would, if ever, get released. Ad when it finally did I bought it the day it hit store shelves. So imagine how excited i was to see this game on here- yeah the new PC version is awesome but the classic was, well, a classic and it did not operate well on my PC. So after trying to play this game I can report that I am disappointed- they did nothing to try and make it more user friendly to play on the iPad. A new user interface system with short cuts would solve that- just like what you would use with the keyword shortcuts in the Pc game. If you want to be an airline management 'tycoon', then the comic style should go. If you want those style of graphics and easy to play Pocket Planes is for you. ✓ Great game, porting issues(I'm speaking as an iPhone user, iPad players may/should get a different experience altogether) When I first found out this game existed on the App Store I was stunned, and ofcourse ready to part with 'all my money,' as they say. It's the same great Airline Tycoon I played on my PC... and that's the problem for me. This game hasn't been optimized for use with the iPhone (iPad should be fine because of the screen) ... infact, it's something of a lazy port. Everything is too small to click, I had to figure out how to close menus like the Personnel lists by myself (And it's awkward, double tap with two fingers is the way I do it), and there's no Tab button on the iPhone keyboard (Brought up by tapping the screen with three fingers, something they expected us to know without guidance either) to 'Call it a day' as the game puts it. Don't get me wrong, I love this game then and now. But I expected a game adapted for the device I play it on, not an ineffective PC emulation..Version: 1.0.0

✓ Great game, with bugsI loved this game back when it originally came out for PC, and this is exactly reproduced from the original. The only issues that I've found are that it's very hard to get out of certain interfaces where the ESC key is typically used (hiring new employees for example). Also, the built-in tutorial ported over from the original game talks about using keyboard shortcuts that don't exist on the iPad (such as TAB key to end the day) which doesn't affect functionality, but could be confusing to some who didn't play the original. In all, could be a great game so long as the minor usability bugs are addressed..Version: 1.0.0

✓ Confusing InterfaceIt's an OK game, but the interface is clunky, and poorly adapted to the touch screen. As someone else mentioned, it is extremely difficult to get out of some screens. In fact, I haven't figured out how to get out of the employee files or employee hire screens, since there is no escape key. First tap should give you the information on contracts and items, with double tap to purchase. Also when using the phone or day planner, there is no way to exit like in the PC version. The PC version used ESC which is not a key on the iPad. Needs to be a place to tap to close the items. But now the game is unplayable. Unresponsive and you need to click on the specific point in order to have the system understand what you want. When you call someone, there is no "exit" part, so I am unable to close this down. The schedule system is slow and some flight keeps sticky, and you are unable to place them, and you need to restart the scheduling in order to select other flight again. ✓ DisappointedI loved the PC version of this game but am quite disappointed with this app. The game has not been optimized properly for an iPhone. Zooming doesn't work properly and you can't control game speed. You aren't able to use keyboard shortcuts to get where you want to go, despite pop-ups telling you that you can. Adding flights is difficult as you need to be uber precise as to where you touch by his game may work better on an iPad but I would still expect issues re: zooming and lack of speed control. ✓ DON'T Buy!!!!!!I read the bad reviews, I loved the Mac game, I couldn't help myself not to buy this game knowing it might be as fun as the original. This game is terrible, they did NOTHING to change it from the Mac game, nothing, in fact, I don't even think they developed the software that converted it to an iOS game, just shoved it into some program they purchase and done, publish it to the App Store. You cannot navigate the airport at all, you cannot perform many operations as there is the necessity for a keyboard, I even connected a Bluetooth keyboard to the iPad and it still didn't work. They did nothing and if you are in a similar situation where you are buying it for the nostalgia, just don't, check back in a month and see if they have done anything about it..Version: 1.1
