✓ It's a trap!After grinding through the first "year" (i.e., levels), having fun, looking forward to more challenging stuff, I pass the Year 1 "exam" and unlock Year 2. I go to play Year 2, and what do I get? A pop-up asking me if I want to purchase it for 99 cents. Look, either charge for the game or offer it for free with ads. This approach is just conniving. Don't get grifted. This isn't an original idea for a game; there have to be millions of similar, better ones. AVOID, AVOID..Version: 1.20

✓ Fun and Challenging...Challenge your kids!Changing it to 2 stars for now because I cannot complete the last section of year 2 (Paper Puzzle) in order to take the year 2 exam...I answer the first question and then the whole program shuts down. I will change it back to 5 if it gets fixed. I didn’t know how else to report the problem. I always like the brain tests but they usually cost a bunch of money or have a ton of ads. This one is simple, challenging, somewhat free and fun. Kids arent all that crazy about school? If they are anything like mine, they WILL enjoy getting a higher score ore than you! Especially in the name memory game...that is the area that youth has a natural advantage!.Version: 2.71

✓ Good idea, poor executionSeemed great until the shape fitting puzzle repeatedly presented puzzles without a correct answer listed, making completion of the series impossible two times in a row. And no, I am not mistaken. The needed answers were clear, and did not exist in the listed options. I do not know whether this issue exists with other puzzles, and I will not be finding out - the app is now uninstalled..Version: 1.81
✓ Good but a few glitchesA lot of fun and gets your brain going but not always user friendly and some of the more difficult maths questions are marked as wrong when they are definitely correct. I know my maths and for some reason, this app seems to struggle with large numbers. Keypad on sudoku and another puzzle in Year 4 doesn’t work particularly well. Won’t let you input numbers, it just moves the number pad around. Otherwise, good fun games.Version: 1.79

✓ Brain SchoolThanks! Mostly good but there could be a bit more leeway with the grading. For example, when doing the sudoku, you get either an A* if you complete it or an E if you don't, even if you are one number short of completion. This makes it difficult to track progress. In the faster magic hats all the hats converge on a single point and then spring apart so it is entirely guesswork as to where the hat you've been watching is!.Version: 1.28

✓ ChallengingJust starting out. Most games are intuitive, and some (like the name memory game) become clearer after wiping out once. I can actually feel my brain learning a new skill, like creating a sort of formula for determining which object is heavier, or quickly identifying a shape. I like it! Attractive design, too. ✓ Casual would be great!The time limit is frustrating! I downloaded this app for my 3 year old as a way to challenge him mathematically. He knows how to answer all of the questions for year one but he needs time to read the sums, find the numbers and then hit the check/tick! Due to the 55 second time limit he is only able to work through 3 questions before he is timed out, which is frustrating for him. If you had a casual one where kids aren’t timed out and can work at their own pace the app would be perfect. Kids would be encouraged to learn, not become discouraged at not being fast enough! The aim should be to get kids excited about learning!.Version: 2.15
✓ Frustrating!!This game could be fun, and possibly good for your brain, but if you get stuck on one part of one puzzle in one level, you’re outta luck because you can’t go any further. Why wouldn’t there be a way to see the solution and learn what you did wrong?? Or to skip that puzzle and give me a lower grade - who cares??? ✓ Can’t get past spelling errorI will not play a game that touts learning ability while spelling things incorrectly. I was recently contacted about the spelling error saying they use “English English.” That still doesn’t explain how you spelled ‘shape’ wrong. So thanks for the snarky email. I also sent a screen shot of the error to this company/developer/magic app wizards... w/e, to show that it had nothing to do with “English English.” 0 out of 5 Update: I sent a screenshot to you guys. ✓ A+ too hard to obtainI like this app but it is too hard to move to the next level. Only one mistake on a level may mean you miss getting it and cant progress. It would be more enjoyable and encouraging if at least 1 mistake was allowed, especially as the level of difficultly increases. As soon as I make a mistake I often just press 'quit' and I am getting tired of playing the same games..Version: 1.28
