And maybe make it so that you can connect with people online and use the vehicles you cave purchased to do many things (and by this I mean do random stuff, not missions) . So people can use vehicles to fight each other or play in a community. ✓ Nice RC Simulator for iPad.I have an iPad 3 and this RC Sim is exactly what I wanted. Absolute RC Sim is great :) It gives u the feeling of flying am RC Heli, plane or boat. I like the photo realistic background. Flying the choppers and planes is like really standing in a park and flying - except the part about having to fork-out hundreds for replacement parts for damaged planes and cringes from onlookers ;). If u are an RC enthusiast you will appreciate this on the iPad. The included plane, chopper and boats go well. I bought the add-on A-10 and it controls just like an RC A10. This orientation hinders the use of earphones as the earphone connection is now on the bottom left where the throttle is (Mode 2). The sound is actually very poor! For beginners it is suggested 'selecting beginner settings'. Great, but what are beginner settings? I emailed support and they suggested a link to their website. Yeah, some people may have not thought to check the website before emailing support, however, there is nothing in the website regarding beginner settings. Really, a short single page document would be good as a user manual. The page could contain links to forums which explain what the 4 Modes mean. Simple guys..Version: 3.18

✓ Why are people so stupid?This is a great simulator. Ignore the people who moan about controls and camera. Here's why... This is not a pick-up-and-play game! It is hard!! It's a simulator and is great for getting people into the hang of flying a heli with spending hundreds on a model just to crash it. It is realistic and hard. That is the point!! And you can change the camera view to a trailing camera which follows the heli and makes is so much easier. ✓ Very Cool!With Christmas just passing and after seeing thousands of RC helicopters sold, this app peaked my interest. I must admit I've never flown or played any sort of game related to rc helicopters, but I found this app to be quiet enjoyable. The graphics were great, the controls while easy to learn but challenging to master was spot on. This app is an excellent way to practice your skills if you enjoy rc helicopters. ✓ Superb for learning RC helicoptersFirstly, this is *not* a game, its a simulator and a good one. You will see loads of complaints that the upgraded models are terrible and don't fly. What's actually happening is you get a basic, easy to fly type of helicopter for free, and if you want to learn a more capable helicopter you can buy that. The different models are not just cosmetic, they're actually simulating how that type of R/C helicopter flies in real life. I have upgraded and the 3D model is *MUCH* more difficult than the standard free one, which is exactly how these fly in real life, and what you would expect from a stunt craft capable of loops, rolls and upside down flight. As a training tool for anybody interested in flying these for real this is invaluable. You can save hundreds, if not thousands of pounds practicing on simulators and avoiding crashes, and this is the best simulator app I've found on the iPhone. Also, if you're interested in rc helicopters I can't recommend this enough as a way to start to learn how to fly them. You really appreciate just how difficult these are after trying this. The ability to adjust the controls to make it more sensitive later on, and to add wind let you tune the difficulty to your experience level. ✓ Does just what it saysIf you are looking for a radio controlled helicopter simulator, this is surprisingly good. You set it up in a similar way to how you'd set up your RC helicopter and you fly it in more or less the same fashion. Control responses are quite realistic. Not super-easy like the most basic RC models but the behaviour is close to what you would expect with the real thing. Spend some time with this simulator and I think it would help prepare you for the real thing. The biggest downside is, as you might expect, that you are limited by using a two-dimensional screen. It is definitely harder not being able to see more of the surroundings (thought there are useful zoom options) and depth perception is tricky. I do think the developers have tackled this limitation very well. The other screen issue, on my iPhone, is that the helicopter quickly gets very small as it gets further away, to the extent that it isn't easy to see which way it is pointing. Luckily there is a reset button! It must be better on an iPad, in this respect. Touchscreen controls will never give you the feedback that physical controls provide. Nevertheless, they work well on my iPhone, way better than on the i-Copter, for example. I find the rudder control is quite touchy and the cyclic (~ aileron/elevator) less touchy and realistically laggy. It is strange not having trim on the control panel, which says how realistic it can feel. I haven't tried any of the extras yet. It may be that other helicopter options fly differently. However, the basic model provided adequately prepares you for flying a generic RC helicopter and it is nice to have the option to go further. If you are looking for a game, this is not it. If you want something to hone your skills with, this is excellent. It is actually a little harder than flying the real thing, which is how it should be. All in all, an excellent "app" which does just what it says..Version: 2.43.0

Great for learning new tricks and practicing orientations - interface (touch screen) is the only real issue but fairly fundamental e.g. fairly small area to move my thick fingers around on iPhone but iPad control area is way bigger and feels very precise, gets easier with practice. Physics are good, and autopilot great for training. Some requests: - App should remember model and mode between sessions - I fly the R90 in Mode 1 and have to choose these every time I load the app. - I always turn on smoke and idle up, can they remember defaults too? - No control over time rate - would like to practice at half-speed to master maneuvers. ✓ Less Crash More Fun!I’ve seen some great improvements to this app in the last 6 years or so. Before that I ran Clearview on my PC. I guess you could say that this dev has helped make me the RC pilot I am today. Allowing me to develop my RC flight skills to second nature saving me a ton of money and making it so much more fun in the field flying expensive Helis and Planes. Since installing Absolute and Clearview years ago I have grown my hangar to include thousands of dollars in model planes as well as helicopters and even more on drones, some of which I fly professionally. Sure I could spend $200 or more on a PC simulator that is so heavy on resources it barely runs, even if you have the components to run it. Instead, I just pick up my iPad and warm up before taking up the $1000 plus aircraft. It’s less about the muscle memory on real sticks and way more about developing proper reflexes to handle the aircraft in any orientation and situation without jerking the sticks the wrong way when you tip stall or graze a tree branch. , Flyclopse.Version: 3.46
