I’ve been flying for over 15 years and have used the more expensive simulators, and the difference between the 2 is minimal. The wind is super controllable, the crash physics are pretty realistic, and I absolutely love that this has an fpv setting. Overall, I think the customization of this sim makes it better that others, and the options it has makes it, in my opinion, the best mobile flight trainer. However the Edge 540 and U Can Do 60 models (maybe others) are too delicate and will break up in flight easily. This should not happen with unlimited aerobatic aircraft. ✓ Simply amazing!I’ve been around R/C planes since the mid 70’s and if I could have learned aircraft control with this app back then I certainly would have saved tons of money and many tears from crashing my planes! This app is not easy to start learning with but that is important to understand. Actually flying an R/C plane for the first time is darn near impossible to do successfully. With maybe 20 hours on this app, I believe it is MUCH more possible to fly one’s own plane relatively safely. The Supermarine Spitfire is absolutely gorgeous to fly! Super smooth, quick yet predictable, a blast inverted, and is my favorite. Just turn off autopilot and “follow” with the camera and have fun! Thank You for such a versatile, useful, money saving, and enjoyable way to fly a virtual R/C plane!.Version: 3.52

✓ Wonderful simulator for beginnersI inherited a few planes and I basically learnt to fly my planes using this app. Sure there’s been differences between the two mostly the cost and attention needed in real life. This app is great to understand the physics behind takeoff and landing as well as flying a real rc plane. If you can land in this app, your 75% of the way to flying an RC. ✓ Great fun flight simThis is a great little flight sim ... I did purchase one aircraft and had no problems. Good little app while watching TV or on an aeroplane . Will appeal to RC model fliers. Compare this with a high cost flight sim and to be honest you don't get a lot more for the money on the big ones !! About the only thing it doesn't do ( yet maybe ? )is have a transmitter interface... maybe by Blue tooth as some do. ✓ Excellent way to learn, can we have a VTOL?We started with quad copters and was very nervous when we progressed to rc planes as there was no altitude hold or gps as a safety net when things go wrong. This app helped us to learn by letting us make the common mistakes without busting up real rc planes. So much so that I practice new manoeuvres on this app before taking out our real models. Enormously entertaining just one thing would complete it, a Vertical Take Off and Landing (VTOL) plane, like a Harrier or one based on real world rc VTOLS like the Ripmax Transition or the XK X520 (we have both). ✓ Great game but a few recommendations.So I’ve had this game for a few months now and I am addicted to it. But I just have some ideas that would make the game a lot better. 1. You should add racing and campaign with planes, helicopters, rc cars and the boats for coins. Then you could use those to buy the planes etc. with them instead of having to use real money (including the maps). 2. I really think you should add multiplayer so people could fly the planes and do stunts with them and show off. The graphics are somewhat strange, and the noise for some of the vehicles is simply unnecessary, but the controls are sufficient! ✓ Great app ! P-51 is a dream to fly !I’ve had this app for about 5 years. It plays great on my iPad. I ve never flown an RC plane so I can’t say how accurate it is but it’s lots of fun ! I’ve bought several of the upgraded planes but the P- 51 flys so beautifully I can’t rip myself away from it to play with the others enough to rate them. The free plane is great for learning too because it’s a little under powered and slow to react which is a good learning tool. By the way I strongly recommend changing the control rates to “medium” as it’s pretty hard to complete an aerobatic maneuver of any kind without crashing with control rates set to low (the default setting). Best o All, every time I go back to use the app after a few months, they’ve made it even better ! Now it has SMOKE !!.Version: 3.18

✓ To much adds and micro transactionsThis game would have been a perfect 10/10 or 5 stars, but the adds and micro transactions have ruined the game first off, every time you crash is a ad, every 50 seconds there’s a ad no matter what and we are not even getting started about micro transactions EVERY SINGLE PLANE IS 2 DOLLARS alright, there are 2 games that you don’t have to buy, but those one are super tiny and don’t even look nearly as cool as the other RC planes! And if you try to buy them all, is 20 whole dollars. Now that just sound like a cash grab with all the adds and payments, but there is so much more. Like the fields, THEY PAY YOU TO HAVE FEILDS TO! and they all look so ugly without having to pay to race you planes. It’s like EA just made this game, horrible. Just horrible. Update: THERES NO WAY TO TURN THEM OFF and I just wanna say that every time you try and start the game, there’s a add, and every 20 seconds, and once I crash my plane, I have to mentally prepare for the add to pop up, it makes the game not fun once there’s adds, and to much adds will make me delete the game entirely. ✓ Just a suggestion!I’ve had Absolute RC sim for years and I’ve never had a problem, this game is absolutely fab and I recommend you get it now! My suggestion is that maybe you could add a multiplayer mode so that we can play with other users. You could also have a mode where it’s like mini games so maybe like you would have to try and go through as many hoops as possible or something. I wouldn’t call it super realistic, but still quite amazing that you’re flying an RC plane on an iPhone and it actually feels like a familiar experience!
