Love it!!So many different routines and options to fit around what I want to do. I can choose the time and work from areas of focus, eg core, low impact, full body, yoga etc. An instructor tells you how to do the exercise correctly really helps me keep focused as well. Everything I need!I started Sworkit as a healthcare worker who was coming home tired and feeling it in my back. I knew I had to do something to help myself be fit for my job! I also had become a new grandma so I definitely needed to keep up with my grandkids! My workouts have centered mainly around core but I have used the custom workout to create a workout that has developed my leg strength too. I added some hand weights recently and my kids just got me exercise bands for Christmas so I looked them up in your programs and found a good one to start with! You have everything I need in your app! I find the individual demos for each exercise precise and easy to learn from! Thank you for also working with me to keep going in your app... I hope I can always have access to your great programs! I have quite a few years ahead as a healthcare worker and “hot body grandma”!!😂😂😂.Version: 10.5.9

A little pricey, but worth it.Sworkit is such a great app, that I’m writing my first ever app review on it. First and foremost: the cost. $30/ 3 month prescription is a relatively high cost for an app subscription, and is not a price I would normally pay. This app, however, is worth it. You can choose any available workout and then you can customize it to whichever length you like, from five minutes to over an hour. The range of workout types, from cardio to yoga and stretching, are incredible. You can choose a workout path with sequential workouts to do over the course of a few weeks, or they can recommend you one based on your experience and fitness level. Love it!!!!.Version: 8.2.2

An essential in my day!SWORKIT is a shockingly well made and organized app. There are a massive variety of exercises from stretching to yoga to strength building, etc. There are programs based on your experience level, goals, and age. I’m very impressed with this app. I’m not a big fan of the subscription model but this app is an exception for me. It’s way cheaper than a gym membership and gives me professional level exercises that I can do from the comfort of my own home at any time that is convenient for me. There’s also access to real trainers and customer service for advice and help. For the amount of work and service that has been put into this app this is one of the rare times that a subscription model honestly seems fair. I’ve been having problems with back pain for the passed couple of years and SWORKIT has been huge for me to strengthen my back, improve flexibility, and work on increasing my strength. Now that I’m 47 I don’t feel like a spring chicken anymore and this app is really helping me to get back to being fit again. Well worth the investment..Version: 10.5.7

This fitness app...is GREATI’ve been using Sworkout since 2016 when there was a free version. In 2016 I lost over 20 lbs using Sworkout and watching what I ate. Recently (2020) I’ve re-downloaded Sworkout because of the COVID-19 pandemic closing all of the gyms everywhere. The thought of home workouts can be scary for someone who only works out in a gym now. This app, is wonderful. It’s kept me in shape during quarantine and worked on the parts of my body I’ve wanted to maintain. If you’re going to pay a membership fee for ANY workout app, THIS IS THE ONE. I highly recommend either the runners series or the home gym - build muscle series. I promise as long as you have the motivation, you WILL see results with this app!!.Version: 10.2.1

Takes the planning out & has gentle learn curveI don’t like to leave my house, so it’s very helpful to have a quick easy source of exercises I can do anywhere. Excellent workout app!!I have been working as a flight attendant for years and I’m not home on a regular basis and I love this app! I can use it anywhere anytime! I love that there’s workouts for everything and you have the option to select workouts with or without equipment. I didn’t really know how to workout with weights and wasn’t really good at keeping track of sets and this has the option to do timed intervals or reps and it keeps track of it for you. Every exercise is explained with a video on how to perform it. It’s very user friendly and they are constantly added to it! My body, my time, no shameI have been using Sworkit for two years now and I can say that it has changed my view on working out. I was the queen of making excuses to not work out but Sworkit makes it so you can work on what you want, for how long you want and without any judgment. AWESOME !! :)I’m absolutely happy I came across this workout app ! It’s just my speed ! Being a beginner to fitness I have tried many apps that start you off fast and rush you into each exercise. Whereas SWORKIT calculates a fitness plan for you. My plan starts me off slow and works it’s way up. Exercises are at a good pace and even have rest stops along with stretches :) I’m motivated to complete workouts and feel much better with the energy after completing each task ! :) You can add your own music to your workouts too :) Weather your a beginner, like me, or a pro to fitness this app is for you ! I finally enjoy working out!Personally, I got bored of doing the same work outs over and over again at the gym, and I would constantly go through phases of going to the gym and then not going for a while. A lot of this was because there was no creativity in my work outs, and I felt like I wasn’t getting anything out of it, physically or mentally. I would have really liked to get a personal trainer so I could have someone provide different work out routines for me, but I couldn’t really afford that. One of the primary things I was looking for in a work out app, was one that would give a variety of work outs similar to a personal trainer and one that wouldn’t break the bank. When I found Sworkit, I was excited to get back into working out! They offer so many different workouts with exercises I have never done before. This added the little spark back into working out that I needed, and it’s like having a personal trainer, but way cheaper. I LOVE it!!I absolutely LOVE this app! I’ve always hated the idea of having to get ready and drag myself out to a gym, to wait for equipment, have creepy guys staring at me, just to have to shower in public and go home. With this app I get to work out twice a day, once in the morning during my 1 year olds nap and once at night after he’s gone to bed. Great value for money...Been using this app for a year now and still really impressed - rich variety of regime options, hundreds of excercises, instructions available for all of them and all easily adaptable and flexible to your personal preference at any given time. Only quibbles: - There are a few glitches and bugs in the playback of the clips sometimes - Would be great to see the exercises from two angles (front & side) as it's all presented 16:9 - Would like a clearer understanding of how the apple watch workout sensing integrates? Like a personal trainer without the costI love this app! I’ve been wanting to start working out but don’t want to have to drive to the gym to do so and even if I did go to the gym, I wouldn’t know how to use the majority of the equipment. This app is great because you can use it in the comfort of your own home, you can customize your workouts for whatever goal it is that you have, it tracts everything for you and can link to my iPhone health app, and it’s like having my own personal trainer. BEST workout app hands downI am just not a “gym” person so I have tried numerous fitness apps and this is hands down my absolute favorite and the one I use exclusively these days. Every time I use this app, I can’t help but feel like they thought of everything. They provide highly customizable workouts (from the duration of the workout, to the break interval and duration). There are monthly challenges if you don’t want to be bothered with choosing. The trainer does each exercise with you, and there’s an indicator for how much longer you have to do that one particular exercise. Prior to starting the next exercise, there’s a demo and a brief interval allowing you to get in proper position. It is one of the very few apps that allows you to play your music simultaneously without interfering with the trainer’s instructions. But of course, options options— they have pre-made workout playlists to choose from as well. I can’t even think of anything I would’ve done differently if I had designed this app myself, and that’s saying something..Version: 10.2.0

Customisation and music - awesomeCustomisation is the key. Everyone’s exercise needs are personal and different and the link to music takes exercise from being a chore to a joy. I love this app and have customised a daily full body exercise routine (based on the 7MWC) and quick stretch. At 10 minutes I have no excuse to procrastinate. It’s a powerful daily wellbeing pill and I’ve been surprised at how good the routine makes me feel. The app is my coach and the results in Strava help maintain the motivation. Simply amazingWhen I discovered Sworkit, I thought it was going to be one of those super attractive apps that was going to cost me an eye a month, for simple workouts that I wouldn’t even do. Great gym companionI’ve been using this app for around 4 years and it’s great. The exercises in the standard routines change periodically and you can create/customise the routines to suit you, including the length of rest period. You can also edit these online via their website. The videos and instructions are useful when a new exercise is introduced but otherwise you can just listen and carry on..Version: 10.6.1

No ExcusesAfter feeling like I always have no time, I decided to open an account since it is definitely cheaper than a brick and mortar gym. I have full premium and no more excuses. Love the personal trainer but not the musicSworkit is a great tool to stay fit but as an PE & Health teacher (pre-k-6th), I am weary to send workouts home to my students during the health crisis. Though the music is edited, there are references to alcohol, sex and drugs on some tunes. My recommendation is that Kids Sworkit only give the Kids Music option. Or just create a Kids Sworkit App that just points to the kids workouts created with Kids Music as the lone option. Just a recommendation. I will be sending a warning to parents but my older kids can run this on their own. I’m just trying to avoid blowback that may stop my use of Sworkit with my students at home..Version: 10.1.0

A concise and effective work out !I have been using SWORKIT for quite a few weeks (4-6 wks I guess) and I can see the results ! Exercises for all circumstances and agesI got Sworkit just over a year now and done around 300 exercises. I mostly love yoga, stretching and building muscle. But I do love that there is always something new to try. There is a section for 1-3 semester for pregnant woman what I think is great. I’m 60 wanting to get back to fitnessI’m a cyclist and reasonably fit for that but wanted to engage my whole body to achieve overall fitness. After a few years in the gym I knew kettlebells were a great device to achieve strength but without expensive gym equipment at home. I’m loving the Sworkit sessions as they really get me going. A word of caution, start with small weights at this age, don’t get ahead of yourself as I’ve found out with my gym work. Start with 4 or 6kg, take it slow and engage your lower back always otherwise you could end up with a slipped disc. I’ve added the 28 Day Flexibility Challenge to loosen up my legs, especially my hamstrings. Because there is a daily program I’ve been able to stick with it...mostly 😇👌.Version: 10.5.7

Great App Except....I just started using Sworkit, and I honestly love it. I appreciate that it customizes a workout plan for you, and that the workouts themselves are customizable. And, having learned about it in an article on body-positive fitness apps, I do generally find it to be that. Been using Sworkit for more than 3 yearsI love this app because of the simplicity and the value. Current version of the app really not working wellI used to love Sworkit but I am having a few problems with this version of the app. It freezes every time I try to log in, the exercises never load before I start the workout and it can’t “build my profile”. If I click on my account, it says “undefined” and I am then stuck on that page unless I close the app and reopen it. I tried to connect my Strava but it forgets each time I close the app and so never works. Great app to meet goalsHello, I have been an athlete my entire life and at 39 years old, with 4 children and a full time job, I have found it increasingly challenging to make it to the gym. Sworkit is game changerI love this app! It is very user friendly just across the board. I love all the different workouts they offer, I love how I can choose how long I want to workout. My favorite feature is the virtual trainer. The trainer shows you exactly what and how to do each exercise before it’s your turn. You don’t need fancy equipment or any equipment at that matter. Great flexibility & choiceI’m really enjoying this app. It gives me the flexibility I need to exercise in a busy schedule. It was really easy to get started- after a few short questions, a plan was generated and it seems to be just right for me - the routines are tough but manageable. The biggest advantage over other apps is the variety of exercises. You won’t be asked to endlessly repeat burpees but you do get a tough workout if you want one. It’s easy to supplement your plan with a wide range of pre-planned routines targeting specific areas of fitness & you can customise your workouts too but I haven’t explored this feature much. TW: App is fun! But I struggle with an exercise/eating disorder.I have used Sworkit for a long time. I love it and it is very affordable. However, I am recovering from and ED. For reasons I can’t explain, seeing the calories burned after a workout is sometimes really disheartening. I have tried to reach out to the developers regarding an option to disable the calorie counting feature with no success. TEMPORARY SOLUTION: it uses the weight you put into it in settings. Mine was automatically applied my health data from a long time ago, so it has been calculated my calories burned ever since. I have since set my weight to 0 and it worked. Now the calories burned per workout is always 0..Version: 10.15.0

Great selection of exercisesI am athletic and have been using Sworkit almost daily for 6 months. The exercises are challenging enough to keep me motivated and I can see my fitness improving. The only issue with the app is that it takes several minutes for the workouts to load on certain occasions. Besides that, I would love to see Sworkit integrating with heart rate measuring devices (eg. Myzone) as the estimates are wildly off..Version: 10.4.0

Great appI love this app. Ive used it for years and still I find it so useful. My favourite is the dumbbell upper body. I use my Bluetooth headphones and train this program at least once a week in the gym. Also core is great. Once you know the exercises you can just keep your phone in your bag. Love this exercise appLove this app. I had a back problem on & off for over 30 years but last year I was more of less in constant pain & had to resort to ultra sound therapy. But within a few weeks of doing the gentle exercises I now do not have of a problem..Version: 10.2.1

EffectiveReally good that even if you are pushed for time you can at least incorporate some exercise into your day. Often do the stretching sequence first thing in a morning and if I miss my yoga class it's easy to do some yoga with SWORKIT. It's about the only exercise programme I have regularly followed..Version: 5.4.6

Enjoying the appThanks for this nice app, hopefully it will continue to grow and develop. I used the free version for about half a year, but recently upgraded to the premium - one plus that attracted me to the app is the minimal talking between exercises, and the fact that there is no need to press buttons on the phone during the training session- just press start and follow the voice prompts to the end - this keeps the rhythm of the session high and without unnecessary distractions. With the premium I enjoy the option to follow "my plan" at the bottom of the app - a personalized set of about 18 workouts in each category of fitness interests; one can follow the plan without wasting time in choosing the exercises every session..Version: 8.1.3

Love the exercise selection and time constraintsI started using sworkit a few weeks ago and It’s so good I haven’t missed a day! I really like the time feature where you can set your exercise time (great when you are working from home). The selection of exercises is so good it engages the whole body (so much more diverse compared to what I’ve been doing for years on my own). The exercise videos are high quality and easy to follow they remind me of group exercise classes. Sworkit has a number of themes (groups of exercises) for a variety of goals: from strength training and yoga to time variable exercises like HIIT and tabata. Customized workoutsHello! Absolutely love the apps y'all put out but if there's one thing I could change it would be to be able to customize your workout a little more. I think there should be a screen that lists all the different exercises in the program and you should be able to toggle certain ones on/off. For example I feel awkward at the gym doing genie sits for abs and would rather be able to turn that off and have more options to turn on. Right now I just substitute it for say, penguin crunches or mountain climbers. If there's no way for you to add an exercise option on your end then I think in the toggle screen you should be able to add the name of an exercise you like so it comes up in rotation. Hopefully you consider this!! I rave about these apps to all of my friends but that's one thing I would definitely change..Version: 5.4.6

Best workout app ever!I love this app because it has everything. Endurance, yoga, strength training etc. Not only that it is pretty cheap and super fun. What I really like is you can customize the length of your workout. So when I only have a limited amount of time I can do a really quick workout and be done or the opposite. It also keeps track of all the workouts you have done. You can also add any other workouts you did on the calendar so you can see how much work you did. It also has workouts especially designed for children and those are free. There are workouts for the elderly as well. Haven’t found one glitch yet so that’s also a plus.
