✓ Weird BugThis could be a great app save for the one bug I’ve encountered. I use my WeberID and my grill shows up. All is good. Then randomly the app tells me “Something Went Wrong - Try Again.” Unfortunately repeated tries yields nothing. The workaround is I must go to the settings page, then to the WeberID page. My information is blank but it gives me the opportunity to log out. I must log out. Log back in. Then use the app. This is very inconvenient when it happens while grilling! Until this bug gets fixed I’ve downloaded another app that allows me to run multiple timers to use. I really would rather use this app but don’t want to risk a timer malfunction while on a cook..Version: 3.4.7
✓ Can’t change temperature units?Pretty nice app, nice guides on what temps to cook at and what the safe target temps are for different kinds of meat. Only one issue....All the temps are in Celsius and there is no way to change to fahrenheit. Please add this option..Version: 3.4.6
✓ Had potential...This App has a ton of information compared to previous Weber “On the Grill”. However this App unlike previous, is only in Celsius. Cannot change App to Fahrenheit!? ✓ Really, this is a Weber Grill Product?Quite a disappointment from their previous app. They took away many of the grill timing info. And now with this version, they seem to be more interested n getting you ‘connected’ or ‘hooked up’ to their tracking of what you do with your grill and selling you things. Sad. ✓ Just basicI just downsized from a larger more professional grill, so I have a basis of comparison. Pros: -It heats up very fast, in about 7-8 minutes to reach 500 degrees. - It’s lightweight and easy to move. - It’s relatively easy to assemble (1-1 1/2 hours) - It’s has even heating across the grill surface. Cons: - Hard to control constant temperature. - When you lift the lid the temperature will drop rapidly, and then when you lower the lid it takes a while to resume proper temperature. - The lid is not double insulated, the outside gets very hot. You must only touch the lid bar or you can easily get burned..Version: 3.4.10

✓ Good info, awful executionTips and tricks are specific to certain grills, but they aren’t organized that way. None of the links in the tips & tricks work. Lots of spelling and grammar errors. Swiping and selecting doesnt work well. Icons for grill manuals and warranty are grayed out. ✓ Lots of information about models I don’t have!The App appears to have lots of information about models I don’t have. It very specifically knows exactly which Model I have but gives me lots of information I don’t need. It is pretty useless to me. It also appears to have all of the languages I don’t speak. It could easily ask which language I want and filter out all the others. It supposedly has step-by-step instructions on how to assemble my grill but I could not find them. I had to use the book that came with my grill. I hoped there would be video instructions but there was not. It is not well connected to the Weber Connect Hub or App..Version: 3.4.11
✓ So-so, so farSome good info here, but my god, no one grills in centigrade even in Canada! And many (most!) don’t measure their meat thickness in metric. Give us freedom to select our own units. This is an app for a supposedly premium grill and this is just a rooky mistake. This should have been fixed a long time ago - it’s not the first time it’s been mentioned in reviews. ✓ Weber ID ExperienceSomewhere between version 3.4.5 and the current version (3.4.7) of the App, sadly the Weber ID Experience has developed a frustrating issue. The App no longer retains my registered barbecue details and as such I have to log in (with email and password) in order to display my barbecue and documentation. I have contacted support detailing the problem and have also provided relevant screenshots. Hopefully this issue will soon be rectified so I can continue to enjoy the full functionality of the App..Version: 3.4.7
✓ Adding to the many requests for Fahrenheit option in CanadaGreat idea for an app. However, it’s rather useless for this Canadian who cooks in Fahrenheit not Celsius. Please respond to the numerous requests to let the user choose which system to use. ✓ Work in progressIt seem that the app has seen some better days. The integration with iOS could be done better, the timer feature is well-intended but basically does not work. ✓ Sometimes new isn’t better…Father’s Day. I’m about to bbq some stuff and open my Weber app. Forced to download a new version. The UI is harder to use and takes more “clicks” to get me where I need to go. The grilling guides are LESS comprehensive and what I need isn’t there (it was in the previous version). They’re able to market accessories to me, though. Wtg! SHAME Weber. Know your audience. You took a great resource that I used EVERY time I bbq’d (whether I needed to or not), and made it LESS useful… Very disappointed..Version: 3.4.10
✓ Make sure you opt out of emailsThe app has some good information, but make sure you opt out of the email notifications. It is like there is a TOTAL disconnect between the app and the email team. I continually get emails reminding me to download the app and register my grill, both of which I have already done. To make matters worse, the emails refer to information that is supposed to be on the app, but is nowhere to be found, which is a shame because some of it sounds interesting, but of course the email does not link to the article. The only reason I can imagine they would not link the article in the email is they are trying to make sure you install the app. That kind of bull s%^% make me wonder why? Maybe I need to uninstall the app. Update- reduced to one star. After submitting my concerns I got a canned response that did not address my concerns and requested I fill out all the information they already have from my grill warranty. I will be deleting the app. I also will be reconsidering buying any Weber branded accessories..Version: 3.4.7
✓ Giving upI have had the Weber connect device for about 2 years. They have steadily improved the app over that time: reduced crashes, better update process, significantly improved UI. However, it still fails it’s most important function - it won’t show an accurate temperature. The temperature fluctuates wildly. In smoking a brisket over the weekend, ambient temp would jump around a 50 degree range regardless of the actual temp. And the probe in the meat might suddenly jump 150 degrees (ie sending and alert that the meat was done and restarting the program) even though the actual temp was still only 80 degrees early in the cook. So giving up on Weber and just bought a Meater+..Version: 3.5

✓ Interface needs workThe recipe content is ok but the interface is terrible. Lots of clicking and “locked” scrolling (you need to fight the scroll to see the actual recipe). ✓ What happened to your app???I have been using the Weber app for 2 or 3 yes. It WAS a great app with easy to navigate recipes, grilling tips, shopping lists and timers. Even had access to Weber branded products. I can only assume that all of their app developers were let go and someone somehow someway totally misunderstands what a grilling app is and what a grilling app should contain. This new update has zero user friendly flows, makes locating a recipe way too time consuming and has links which are basic FAQs when the appearance indicates access to more Weber products. It gives unclear and generic error messages for simple activities such as creating an account, or registering a barbecue. “Something went wrong, please try again later” is not a suitable error message. In the first instance, my password wasn’t complex enough.. so just tell me that? Trying to register a bbq, it took 5 minutes just to work out how to select the date of purchase.. clicking on the date itself might seem like the right idea.. NOPE.. I found a UI element buried in the bottom right corner of my display that did the trick). I swear this app is guesswork all the way. Finally, having provide a purchase date, a valid serial number, and an image of the receipt? “Something went wrong, please try again later” So, you know.. ✓ No Sound on VideosI just bought a Webber grill a few days ago and just downloaded this app. It has some tutorial videos which have no sound. There is a speaker icon and a sound bar, but no sound. My phone is not on silent and my phone’s volume is turned all the way up. My sound is working on my other apps. ✓ Decent App Poor IT SystemThe app itself is a decent app. My problem is with the integrity of the underlying system. I liked the idea of part of the functionality of the app being tied to the serial number of your grill or grills. However, that only works if the system recognizes your serial number. I tried to register my grill three times through the app, each time receiving a message stating “invalid serial number”. I called Weber customer service. The rep tried to register the grill and had the same problem. The solution: “This happens sometimes. I suggest you keep your receipt in case you have any issues with the grill.” I asked if the problem would be fixed and should I try to register on a month or two. The answer: “No.” What is the point of setting up a system that only works for some products some of the time? Strange and unnecessary..Version: 3.4.7
✓ Helpful…sort of.The app was great for registering my product and the assembly video/tutorial was somewhat helpful, although I had to go the internet and find a blog to finish because the tutorial was outdated and showed the wrong assembly components. ✓ App Recommends Undercooked/Unsafe Ground BeefTo my personal shock & dismay, the Grill Guide actually allows users to select “rare” and “medium rare” for ground beef, which is the #1 source of food borne illness after fresh produce & dairy. The App literally allows users to select “rare” and “medium rare” without providing any ⚠️warning or disclaimer⚠️ for the health hazards and potentially serious and life-threatening risks associated with undercooked meat, ESPECIALLY ground beef. Furthermore, the App’s internal temperatures aren’t even right. The Grill Guide says “140F” for “medium”, but the CDC/FDA says specifically that ground beef should NEVER be consumed below “160”, which is the temperature for “medium.” The Grill Guide is supposed to help new consumers get their food right. Instead, it’s likely to get them seriously sick..Version: 3.4.11

✓ Cannot Log InI have used app for years. Recently got a new IPhone and app said I needed to log in. When I did, got this message that it failed and to try later. Tried to do password reset and it said my email is invalid. I even deleted the app and started over. I requested help online with Weber but they have been unable to resolve it. Similar issues on my iPad with the app. Much of the info on the app is missing and some screens are just blank pages. But the adds to buy stuff works perfectly. Go figure. Guess I just will not use the app anymore on my phone. Based on other reviews, this seems to have been a common problem. Come on Weber. Fix your app..Version: 3.5
