✓ Town building but limited military or campaignSo much like settlers but the maps are small, the military aspect is limited and can’t zoom out far enough to make it easy to see everything. However the best value and most fun for your money in app-form for those who loved settlers.Version: 1.14.3

✓ City building blissThis is a really good game, worth the money. I also paid for the fast forward upgrade which improves the game a lot. Other than that, no other in app purchases are really needed as you earn prestige doing quests. Once you get a strong town going you can return to it to complete generic quests to build up prestige for your next map. The "rate this app" notifications are annoying, and there are notifications in the game that cover a third of the screen for a time which interrupt the gameplay. They are trying to get you to use prestige points, it's irritating. I'm nearly through all the scenarios, more would be good and a bit more creativity too. Map variation would be interesting and other types of crafts etc. There is no military aspect to this game which I like! It's all economy based. If you like a military type achievement too, try "the settlers" for iPad. All in all a great game which keeps me coming back..Version: 1.4.6

✓ RoadsBuilding roads is so difficult now. For some reason, it wont connect and stay to the place where i want it to be instead it automatically connects to the nearest end of another road. Also, can we make an update where we can update the townhouses so we can build or rebuild them to look differently. It would be really cool if we can upgrade the well and the fisherman's shack into something like made of stone maybe so they look less shabby. ✓ What weve all been waiting for...Finally a game that doesnt have in app purchases! And its extremely easy to get both types of money in this game. You can even restart a town if you so desire. It runs smoothly on my iphone 4. Havent had a single issue with it crashing. However, ive been playing for a few days now and i dont think theres a way to move structures that have already been placed. I hope the devs change that eventually. ✓ Premium isn’t idealFun strategy game, great time sink, but many of the scenarios require you to have a significant stock of quest reward currency to succeed. This reward currency can also be bought of course, as well as the ability to fast forward indefinitely, improper use of either without purchasing something results in certain scenarios becoming either automatic fails or endless slogs made worse by somewhat repetitive music. Like I said at the beginning, I still enjoy this game, helps scratch that Anno/Banished/Factorio itch I have when I’m not at home. Don’t think it could even compete with the aforementioned, just something in a similar-lite vein..Version: 1.10.8

✓ Almost perfect!This game reminds me a lot of Heritage of the Kings where you have to wisely manage your city and resources, and I love that about this. I am also a developer, and I truly appreciate the time and effort that went into this. However, I don't appreciate the following things: - I paid for the ad-free version of this game, yet it always boots with an ad. - There's a bug in the election campaign where you're supposed to build marketplace stands, yet no matter which type and how many you build, the quest counter stays at zero. You cannot complete this quest. Frustrating, to say the least. [EDIT: This is not a bug, you have to hit the arrows until you see the flashing stall in order for it to count toward the quest. My one wish would be that there was a blank slate option without any previous buildings other than the main castle. I really enjoy designing the layout of the towns but don’t even bother with the ones that have a lot of buildings already. I also wish their were more big or huge layouts that weren’t stuck in permanent winter. The permanent winters I don’t bother with. Also, the timed challenges (ex: 5 minutes to produce x amount of x) is pointless and impossible unless you’re already a well established town. ✓ Build me up Scotty!Ok I have been looking for a good building game on the tablet for ages. Most available building games are waiting, play a bit, wait some more,play a tiny bit & wait again. Frustrating! This is soooo much better, yes there is a few minutes wait while a building is constructed but that's it. Your towns people need food, water and amusement like a real people and it's your job to provide it. Use your special points to build a market early and it makes everything so much easier and you will be able to get your township going that much faster. Best of all you earn special points for every quest you complete , you don't have to buy any unless you are really impatient. You construct and upgrade with the resources you collect, no stupid energy timer rubbish, no waiting 24 hours for a building, if you have the resources and enough workers it takes a couple of minutes to build anything. Your mine runs out of gold, send a geologist, he inspects the mine, and slowly finds new gold seems. All resources are now unlimited. It’s possible to make “free” premium currency by completing campaigns but you need to spend it also. Sandbox is close to impossible without premium currency. I also forget to claim ad bonuses.
