ICollect Everything: Inventory for Negative User Reviews

Too expensiveThe in-app purchases to store unlimited collections is no where near worth the $35 I paid for it. Most barcodes are unrecognised by the app and ones that are often have the wrong info attached to or are in the wrong language (eg blurb). Basicay functionality is missing, such as being able to auto fill any field you wish (eg author, date, publisher, series etc) for each new item you add. Very tedious to enter the same info over and over. Also there is no way to mass edit multiple items in your collection. There is also no offline mode for scanning barcodes en masse so that you do do not have to wait for the app server connection which can be laggy (the app should then locate the items to match the barcodes you upload the next time you connect)..Version: 1.9.15

Not going to pay a dimeI already bought this app in various forms before. Have it on an iPhone, iPad, and iMac. This should be given for free for those of us that paid before. You already double dipped before. Until this is free (or a very tiny upgrade cost like $2.00), this app only gets 1 star..Version: 1.4.1

It was so nice till they said PAY :(I can scan or I can type love it I didn’t like game eye. I was SO EXCITED till they said 15 games off now pay or F off :( it broke my heart cuz this was the ebay app now I do not like it cuz you ask us to pay to use it :( I got use Gameye on iPhone and on Samsung best game app is my game collection with a red controller letter 8 side ways logo. I have looked for the best app since 2017 and my game collection on Samsung is the best cuz it’s free and on iPhone we have no choice but Gameye. This is sad that you ask us to pay there should be a free option :( this sucks!!.Version: 8.3.4

ScamHe abandoned his previous Collectors app and he will do the same with this one someday. Avoid..Version: 1.9.5

Very poor designThey maintain all of your data on there servers If they have an issue then you cannot get to your data. Now with the latest issue they encountered all of my data has been lost with no way to restore it and I need to start from scratch. I am not gonna spend hours doing this all again so they can just loose it all again. That design does not allow you to export and import your own data you need to go through them I spent a lot of money on this app only to have someone else mess it up. I will not be using this app again until they allow me to manage my data. Very disappointed..Version: 1.9.5

Horrible appGot the app and then entered in my comics and they just dissapeared.Version: 7.9.23

Worked great til I paid for itI was using this app to catalog my Blu Ray collection. Once I had hit 75 titles the app sent out a promp that it would take 9.99 to continue with unlimited access to cataloging my titles. I paid and added another 300 titles over the next couple of months. Then the other day when I needed it most to check on a title, it crashed and deleted all of my info from the app. Basically just a blank white screen (the alphabet that is normally to the right is gone as well). I did what the FAQ said to do which is power it down and back up but got the same results. It won’t even let me add a title. I informed tech support but have not gotten a reply. I enjoyed the app and if it was free I would just delete it from my phone by I paid 9.99 for it and spent hours cataloging titles so I wanted to put it out there for anyone else that may be having the same issue.Version: 1.9.3

Try Book Crawler insteadI used to have a sort it app for my movies. The app was never updated, and other apps were made to replace it, for a charge. I received an email from the creator of iCollect stating that this app would be free for a select group, for a select time. I thought that meant if we downloaded it now, we would be grandfathered in at no charge. Nope. It is for a free month trial AND after that it is $4.99 A MONTH. First of all, that’s a dirty trick. Second of all, a month? It should be a one time fee, AND since we are “valued customers” replacing old apps we bought, we should at least get a discount. I’ve seen a lot of positive reviews about keep track of books. I purchased the Book Crawler app years ago for $1.99 (one time fee), and I haven’t bought a double book since. So if you are just needing to organize your books by author, genre, sub genre, series etc, save yourself some money..Version: 1.4.2

Asked you to paySays free but once you download it before adding anything it asks you to pay £17 a year just to add stuff..Version: 1.2.1

A slow and frustrating experience. The barcode scan function sounds like a dream right? Unfortunately the interface is awkward and clunky. Entering comics one at a time is painfully slow. The bulk scan function rarely works, because either there are too many matching barcodes or there is no prior record so you have to upload it yourself. The data base is entirely user generated and is fraught with mistakes and repeated items. Uploading manually if you don’t use the barcode scan is a nightmare. Even if you are entering sequential issues, each time you manually enter a comic you have to look up the title and the issue number, enter it, then search again for the title, then this issue number to enter the next issue. Why not a single search for title then a check box system for entering issues? Sold as convenient and fast it could not be further from it. The free to use function is capped at 30 comic issue’s entered then it costs $49+ dollars to continue the experience that is disappointing even when free. Give iCollect a miss..Version: 8.4.0

MisleadingUsing this to put in my dolls. Could only put in 15 listings until I was hit by a pay wall. What’s the point? This makes it useless.Version: 7.8.4

Lost my collectionI purchased the pro version in 2017 , I had over 600 movies in the collection. The collection just disappeared and now I can’t even log in . It says it doesn’t have my email in the system. There are better apps out there don’t waste your money or time on this one. It’s buggy and often it freezes when you need to use it..Version: 7.9.28

GarbagePurchased the full previous edition for movies and games which is no longer supported and now I need to pay again. I don’t think so Quit double dipping your customers every year with a “new” app with nothing changed 0 stars if given the option.Version: 1.6.5

Deceptive purchase processBe careful when making a purchase in this app! They charge to unlock each type of media, but the app didn’t make that clear when I paid $9.99 to unlock what I thought would be the full app, not just DVDs. I then needed to unlock CDs separately, which would have been an additional $9.99. They and Apple also don’t offer refunds in these cases, so make sure you’re ok with their charges before buying. The app also has different limits for each type of media, and you don’t know what they are until you hit them, so you could waste a lot of time scanning items and then realize you need to pay to scan the rest. The app also doesn’t recognize a lot of barcodes, so you need to enter the items manually in those cases, and their internal search engine doesn’t always find the correct match, so you need to vary your search by either I’m using the artist name or album title separately..Version: 1.8.11

Too many bugsThis could be a very good & useful app, but it has too many bugs: 1) I scanned the barcode of a book & it brought up a totally different one. 2) After scanning a book’s barcode, which provided an image, I exited app. Upon getting back in app a couple days later, the image was of some weird robot poster or something. This is a bit disconcerting!! 3) After scanning a book’s barcode, which provided an image, I exited app. Upon getting back in app later, the image was gone. I went to edit the book’s info and was just going to leave the image blank, but it wasn’t allowing me to exit without having a picture, so I had to take a picture of a pillow. 4) I’ve been trying to delete an image for one of my books and replace it with another, and it will not allow me! It just continues to show the original image, although it does let me add images. And some things that need to be changed: 1) An image should not be required! 2) One should be able to sort each collection individually, rather than when changing the sort in one collection, it changes the sort in every collection. 3) it’s a little strange that images disappear or are completely changed! There is something wrong with that. Im a little hesitant to even havw the app on my phone anymore..Version: 1.9.3

Decent app but overpriced to use full features.I enjoyed using this app until I hit the rather small 75 limit before trying to charge me an exuberant $15 to unlock unlimited space for only one type of item. Ridiculous pricing. If the price covered the whole app then that would be a lot more reasonable..Version: 1.9.30

AnnoyingI entered in all my comic books and now they are all gone 🙄🙄 it hasn’t even been 24 hours and you can only add 30 again without paying $15 dollars very overpriced!!!.Version: 7.8.4

Clunky with poor purchase options.Downloaded to catalog some coins and Hot Wheels. Added 12 coins that I’d just received and planned to add the others later. Proceeded to add Hot Wheels. The process for adding is clunky. It asks if each item has a barcode which could be useful but for coins it is pointless and must be dismissed every time. With Hot Wheels it is okay with premiums etc but mainlines often share a barcode. Choosing an item manually can be annoying as you can only search one field at a time, rather than search all - annoying as some use different fields. The data can vary as it is all user submitted so can’t blame the app for that. After adding the coins and then 15 Hot Wheels I am then informed that I have reached my limit and must pay to add more. Now, I do not have an issue with paying for products but at no point was this explained at any point until now, after adding these items. Had I known this, I would have either purchased or decided against it. I assume the method behind adding this at this stage is that people figure ‘well, I’ve got this far..’ Pricing seems steep but I applaud them doing this rather than a subscription model. £29.99 for unlimited category and £59.99 for unlimited everything. I wouldn’t mind if I had a larger collection but it is relatively small for now and I can’t justify the price. I’m currently using an Excel spreadsheet which works well and I will just stick with that..Version: 8.4.2

Not a reputable companyA reputable company will email all users when they are discontinuing a service. They will offer to transfer you to a new service especially if you’ve paid for lifetime access. This company however does not. It used to be Sort It Apps / iCollect before and had a very similar app called Collectors. They decided to do away with Sort It Apps without letting any customers know. I had the lifetime subscription and had scanned thousands of items over the years and now it’s all gone because as I was informed today they shut everything down a few days with no notice. This seriously confuses me because even when a free service is being discontinued I get an email so I can save any data I want to keep, as reputable companies do. But this was a paid service so the fact that I was never given notice to save anything is baffling. The email response from them was a complete joke telling me that the company no longer exists but I can buy the new one and rescan everything. Why would I pay again and put myself through all this so that in a few years they can decide that they want everyone to buy “lifetime access” again so they ditch this app a put up a new one. I don’t think so. TLDR: They already had a similar app w/lifetime access but axed it without notice to put up this one and charge everyone again..Version: 7.9.28

How much?Far too expensive for this app..Version: 1.9.16

Barcode Scanner is TerribleI purchased the full version in hopes I could consolidate the number of applications used for inventory of my collections down to this one. By far the most voluminous collections I have are of books and comics - each with barcodes that should make scanning in the inventory fairly simple. Problem is this apps scanner is almost certainly the worst of all the apps I have ever used for scanning in barcodes as it refuses to read the overwhelming majority of them. No matter the conditions. It’s extremely frustrating to have to enter codes in manually when ALL other apps with scanning capabilities have zero issues reading the same codes under the exact same conditions. I wouldn’t recommend this app if you’re dependent upon the scanning capabilities. Especially when you need to pay for it - and at the price in which you pay for it. No other app costs as much and performs as poorly comparatively. Very disappointed..Version: 8.4.0

LoveI have only been using this app for a few days, but I love it. I really like how they have the option to shake your phone to randomly pick something from your collection. Makes it so much easier to pick something to read. Edited to say that I still love the app but the customized data fields that I have chosen to not show up for the books like who edited the book is now showing. In fact, all data fields are showing which I don’t want. My settings haven’t changed and show that only the fields that I have selected should be showing. With that not being the case I am slowing starting to not love this app as much as I did before. It may be time to find a new app..Version: 8.4.2

Save won’t workEver time I select save keep getting an error message Tried WiFi and 4g won’t work on either.Version: 1.7.2

Mostly great, few no-brainer tweaks needed thoughI’ve just started using this today (testing it out to see if I want to buy the full unlocked features). So far, it’s been a little difficult to get used to, however, once you work your way around, it’s really amazing just how customisable everything is!! This app will be able to literally do all my collections & lists, it’s very, very customisable once you work your way around, which I absolutely love!!! A couple of very frustrating issues I’ve encountered already though (or maybe I’m just missing something?)... 1). There’s no option to “move” a item you’ve listed from one custom category to another & no option to “copy” a item you’ve listed from one custom category to another either which makes things unnecessarily extra time consuming if you want something listed in multiple custom categories or if you want to completely move something from one category to another. 2). I desperately need the ability to create Sub-Categories, at the very least to be able to create Sub-Categories within custom categories & I can see most people probably wanting this ability!! For example, I do a lot of miniature modelling work & a lot of craft work. I have huge collections of model paints in multiple brands, huge collections of regular paints in multiple brands, a huge collection of Sculpey clays & so on. I very often find myself not having to dig through my collections just to see if I have a certain paint colour or not so the ability for me to create a main custom category for all my “Modelling & Craft stuff” & then be able to create Sub-Categories within that for each of my paint collections for example would be a God send & I can already think of a number of other collections I’d want to list & do the same kind of thing with so I think the ability to create Sub-Categories, (at the very least within custom-made categories) is something that’s desperately needed!! 3). There’s no ability to edit the titles for even your custom categories. The app does tell you about this when you go to create a custom category, but it quickly becomes frustrating especially when you can’t move or copy items from one category to another. If you at least had the ability to do that, then at least you could create another custom category with the updated title you want, then copy or move the items into the new-titled category & then just delete the whole 1st category but there’s no ability to do any of those things at all so I can already see this will very quickly become even more time consuming, which I expect considering how many collections & items I have to list & how amazingly customisable this app is so I plan on getting everything properly listed with lots of info, but where it quickly gets frustrating is unnecessarily having to input the exact same info in multiple times when something as standard as “move”, “copy” & custom category title editing options would fix all that & greatly increase the user friendliness of the app. 4). I’d love to have a ability to add tags to our items as well, although, I’d personally consider that to be a slight improvement whereas the other issues I mentioned, I feel are must-have’s & the lack of them I feel really decreases the usability of the app especially for large, multiple collections & will hold me back from purchasing the fully unlocked version at this stage. All that said though, this app has the ability to be the best out there with a few tweaks & additions here & there. The fact it’s so highly customisable & you can choose to make listings so detailed is amazing!!.Version: 1.9.16

Fine was free until I paid and upgradedApp was fine til I hit the max entries (30) so I paid ($14.99 aus$) to upgrade. Now it’s constantly failing to load..Version: 1.9.3

Almost PerfectFirst let me say that I love what this app offers. I use it to keep track of my PC games and being able to take pics of the items is a big deal for me. I was up to about 800 items when I finally decided to log in with an account. I started noticing that the images I had taken of my own items were being replaced with other images. It seems the images you attach to an item are not stored locally in the app but on a central server. If someone else uploads an image for the same item it replaces your own?? I’m not positive but it seems like that was the case. Also at one point it deleted my collection and it had been a while since I exported so I lost a few hundred entries. That may have been when I noticed the wrong pictures. If they made it so it stores the images locally or saves them in your own account I would rate this 5 stars..Version: 2.0.6

Not worth the costThis is an okay app on the surface. The problem is, for an app that purports to help collectors, the amount of time you have to spend helping to build their database is ridiculous. There is a 0% chance that a rare item you own will be in the database already, and even some common items will have to entered manually. I wouldn’t mind adding to the database so much if it weren’t for the exorbitant cost to use the app to its full capacity..Version: 1.9.15

Welp. I’ve been ripped off.Really hope Ethan C. Allen plans on refunding the previous purchases I made for all of the other collections apps? I highly doubt it. My advice is don’t bother. You have to pay, AGAIN, for a whole new app as I guess the others will now die off. I see a pattern here... and what happens when he gets bored of updating this new one? Stop updating and working on it and start another? Like you’ve just done to us? I’m uninstalling everything and I’m done with this developer for good. Don’t waste your money. Any new features could have been incorporated to the previous versions that people have already paid for. This is just a dirty money grab. I’d rate no stars but we all know that’s not possible..Version: 1.4.2

£9.99? Get realGot this ap as being a die hard movie collector thought it could be handy to have a ‘on the go’ inventory in case I came across anything I wasn’t sure was in my stock already. Get to 75 additions and they suddenly want £9.99 from you??? NOPE!!!! That’s frankly ridiculous! £2.99 id consider it, wanting £10 near enough is absolute greed and ruins what could be a handy resource.Version: 1.7.2

SubscriptionWhen an app you like is going smoothly and they hit you with the “subscribe to keep using” and u now hate it.Version: 8.2.2

Cloud based app that just doesn’t workI purchased this app in late December and proceeded to create a movie list. All was well after I had spent many hours creating a list of 269 movies. A few days later I tried to change some of the entries and things started to not work. Eventually my entire movie list just disappeared and I couldn’t get it back. The answer that the help desk gave me was that their servers had been infected by a very severe virus and they had no idea when or even if they could restore user accounts and their lists. This app seems to be storing every list you create on their servers, not locally on your iPad or iPhone. This makes the security of your data dependent on whatever security or lack of security they are using on their servers. I would suggest that you only use this app for very short lists and for lists that don’t make much difference to you if the lists just disappear..Version: 1.9.3

FrustratingPaid for the upgrades for video game collection and movies collection, populated it all over a period of several days (adding several hundred entries in each case). Went to open the app today for the first time in a few weeks and found that everything I had previously saved has mysteriously disappeared - even choosing the various “refresh” options available made no change. Incredibly frustrating - if there is no auto save on this app, where is the prompt to remind users to save manually? Wasted my time and money..Version: 1.9.25

You should be embarrassedJust like everyone else who got sucked in by your deplorable method of charging individual categories I am far from impressed. No being up front with potential clients about your pricing policy should be an embarrassment. Letting someone by unlimited category before you offer Unlimited Everything. This is a shame as the app is OK. Apple should read your review section I M Afool.Version: 1.7.4

Pricing Not Clearly DisclosedThis is a "free" app, but you can only have 75 movies in your collection before you have to pay $13.99 to add more. I reread the description of this app, can't find the fact you have to pay for the main function of the app to be utilized anywhere. Disappointing, if it's not free don't have a free app.Version: 1.8.6

Never loadsIt worked, I added all my stuff to it, went back later on to add some more and It said loading collections but no matter how long I would wait it wouldn’t load. Not sure if this is a problem with my phone or the app or if anyone else is having this problem but it makes the app unusable..Version: 1.9.25

Missing itemsI bought the book app for 9.99 after I reached my limit and have close to 1,000 books and thought this would be a good way to keep track of all the books I get in on a regular bases. I scanned in 800 books and 550 of my books are missing now 250 is all it is showing that I have scanned in now. I also bought the he movie app for 9.99 and scanned in over 200 movies and now it’s saying that I have no movies on my movie app. I feel like this was a waste of money and am very disappointed that this app didn’t work out as well as it could have. It seems like my stuff ends up with missing items after an update and I can’t find them anywhere on the app. I am glad we didn’t buy the comic part of this app like we were going to. I just want to warn others before they end up paying for something they can’t even use properly..Version: 1.9.30

It’s alrightAfter coming from their previous app, this one as some pros and cons in comparison. I like that there are more options for sorting out, and that when I leave the app and come back, it will continue where I left it. But I don’t like that it’s slow constantly reloads pictures even though I’ve turned on the option to Save Images Locally to improve performances..Version: 2.0.3

Waste of time. Doesn’t work without internet connection. Why on earth does it need Internet connection for a local database ?.Version: 7.6.1

They want £59 a year??!!This COULD have been a fantastic app and very helpful to fans of collectibles. But the crazy high price they ask for will put you off. If you look at the reviews you will see only negative. But somehow it’s getting 5 stars from somewhere. Hmmmm. But contact me when this app is free we won’t mind ads. Or even lower the price. Snupps app will do until then..Version: 1.4.1

Avoid! App not stable and wasted my time.Lost entirelist.Version: 1.9.3

AppSpoilt it by wanting too much money to use this app..Version: 1.4.1

DisappointingPaid the asking price of £9.99 to continue scanning my movie collection. I expected this price to unlock the ALL categories, disappointed to discover that if I want to unlock everything it will £59. Not worth the price I have paid. Could have been a great app.Version: 1.6.5

MisleadingI’m so annoyed.. I just spent hours adding movies and then I’m told I’ve reached the limit and will have to pay to add more movies. I would have liked to known this from the beginning before I wasted my time!.Version: 2.0.5

Doesn’t advertise cost properlyI think the cost needs to be advertised more clearly, and not in the middle of a large multi-paragraph description.. you can only ‘collect’ 30 books until you’re prompted to pay $40 for unlimited books or $80 to include other categories. Very steep considering how many collection apps are on the market.Version: 8.4.1

Barcode is uselessBarcode has never added any info on anything i have scanned so far ?.Version: 1.9.30

Money grubbing at its worst. Don’t buy.I paid to log items on my phone. I then wanted to use the app on my desktop and it wanted me to pay over $50?!!!! Hell. No. Account deleted. Avoid like the plague..Version: 8.4.0

GreedySo after spending all this time scanning all my movies books etc it’s like oh you reached your 75 movie limit now pay to put unlimited movies blah blah blah. Unbelievable also doesn’t even track the value you have to do all the work yourself it’s honestly just easier to write it down, another note this app couldn’t find the title of some very common cds I had to input the info myself save yourself the time don’t download this app unless you wanna pay..Version: 1.6.5

DisappointedSaw and ad for this app thought it would be a great way to help organise my comics, dvds and video games, got started and got to the limit of just 75. My first issue is that £9.99 seems a little steep to fully organise my collection, I understand the work you put into the app, but it’s still a little steep. Second, I had to organise the switch tab, for each of the different tabs I wanted, I feel it would be easier if you made it an option that changes no matter what tab I am on. Overall the app has potential however I am disappointed as to what has been made.Version: 1.7.2

Dont waste your timeThey want money after wasting your time inputting 15 games instead of just saying at the beginning.Version: 7.9.9

ShockingDoesn’t recognise most of my record collection.Version: 1.9.15

Monthly subscription? No thanks.Your previous separate apps where you would pay a lump sum was great, but with your new combined app, a monthly subscription that’s ongoing until you have to cancel through your iTunes account is extremely disappointing..Version: 1.4.2

Not workingGot application worked fine last night now all I gets a white screen with the C icon uninstalled it and reinstalled it on both iPad and iPhone and nothing. Everything I sat and put ins gone.Version: 1.6.5

Too expensiveThis might be a good app but I know of others that are exceptional and don't cost half what this does. Reverting back to original program and uninstalling this one..Version: 1.4.1

DisappointedI downloaded this because it said it was free to use. I then noticed that it says “in-app purchases” and thought these were optional. I was moving along, putting video games into the collection, got to 20 and was promoted to pay $10 to keep adding video games. I wasn’t sure what this was all about, since I thought it was free, and went to the reviews. In the reviews, the developers said several times that it was free until you hit a “very high” count. 20 video games across multiple consoles isn’t a lot. I’m very upset. I reread through the detailed app description and saw that it said that I would have to pay a separate fee for each collection that I have, of which I have many (coins, books, movies, video games, board games, and more—some of which number in the hundreds or even thousands) and was looking forward to using the app to keep them all sorted, but it’s way too expensive to pay $10 per collection. I rather make excel spreadsheets or Access databases for them. So, long story short, I’m very disappointed..Version: 1.6.5

Not worth the effort.Could have been such a helpful app, which is why I’m taking the time to review but unless you pay a hefty subscription (£54.99 a year) then it’s pretty much useless. The “limited amount” buried in the notes is 10 items, most of which I had to input all the information by hand. Waste of time and effort..Version: 1.3

A waste of my timeWaste of time, it was only when I’d input 50 books that’s it then said I’d reached my limit and was asked to pay £9.99 to be able to add more to my inventory..Version: 1.9.12

This is not the right pricing modelYour past users have spent up to $40 on the full app and have invested their time to develop your database. Charging a subscription for functionality that should have already been in v1 is greedy and will serve to send your users elsewhere..Version: 1.4.1

75 item limitCharging for an app is fine, but be more transparent about it. People should know before they start adding items that there is a 75 item limit then they have to pay. Tell people this up front and make it clear how much they’ll need to pay to go past the limit..Version: 1.6.5

It does what I need, BUT…The process for inputting your titles is REALLY annoying and beyond inefficient. The way I’m doing it, which I assume is how it’s supposed to be done, is to tap the “+” on the upper right corner and then to tap the barcode option at the bottom. Having to move with your thumb from top to bottom (and on a large screen phone), is really taxing ESPECIALLY since (and here’s the second annoying aspect) there’s no obvious batch inputting. You literally have to go through that whole process I just did laid out for EACH entry. Why isn’t there a way to just take barcode pics one after another instead of leaving the screen and starting all over. That’s the inefficiency I was talking about. And considering that (presumably) the majority of users have HUNDREDS of movies to enter, that’s going to be a LONG day!!.Version: 2.0.6

Find a better optionThis app caps out at 30 books. I was happy I finally found an app that I could keep records of my collection. Waste of time imo..Version: 8.2.1

1200 movies vanished!!Suddenly only 17 titles are showing up. Not happy at all. No idea what to do.Version: 2.0.2

FuriousAfter many hours of putting on my movie collection 780 movies all of a sudden program collapsed and have lost all my collection after paying to be able to put my collection together only to lose all is very disappointing would not recommend to anyone to use this program..Version: 1.9.15

GreedyWould of been great easy with the barcode scanner instead of manually entering but only lets you save like a dozen then you gotta pay I can save a list on my notes and doesn’t cost me a nickel.Version: 1.6

Do not useThey want £59 a year.Version: 1.7.2

No updateNot updated now app is useless and my collection on it unacceptable, anger doesn’t come close!.Version: 1.7.4

Nowhere near good enoughIf you’re going with a £9.99 price tag then your app should be perfect. For that price it should tidy up your physical collections and undertake some light household dusting too. As none of those things is happening this app gets a well deserved 1-star rating. Sort out the crashes, the force-closes, and drop the price to something which more befits a glorified spreadsheet..Version: 1.6.5

Paid for 1yr and yet no movies!Took me ages to load my (DVDs)movies and I paid the $14.99 to continue loading but now there are no movies listed! What a rip off!.Version: 1.9.5

Just don’t try to add a field to existing databaseTrying to get started with a custom database. Entered a few (only, thank goodness!) items, realised I needed an additional field. Added it. All other fields disappeared. Deleted the added field, put back the original ones, my data reappeared. Almost. Same data duplicated across a couple of fields, editing either one changes data in both. Thank goodness I had only spent an hour entering stuff. May start over, not sure though, obviously buggy and untrustworthy with custom databases..Version: 1.9.25

Funding modelThe barcode input of videos worked well - especially bulk load. It’s fast and reliable. Storing my video library means I’ll stop buying duplicates because I’ve forgotten I bought it... and can confidently buy what I don’t have. But when I went to upgrade the Apple interface or app update hung so I couldn’t. Let see if support respond. Having read others’ comments it will be important to back up the database in case the servers crash. The finance of this organisation seem unsure of their ability to keep the lights on: “And of course, with us being a business with bills to pay, we’re hoping that it (new in app purchase for upgrade) provides us with enough revenue to keep the servers on for you.”.Version: 1.8.4

Cash grabWhy would I spend $14 just to have more than 20 Video Games organized?.Version: 1.7.4

Lost our dataLost hours and hours of data in a data breach. No timeline and little communication about anything. Loved the app until this moment. Disappointed.Version: 1.9.9

So much greed... so sadI had purchased their previous app that included one time purchases for all types of collections. I got the complete package.. it now seams that they will be taking focus away from that and onto this new subscription based app that YOU CANT EVEN USE WITHOUT SUBSCRIBING TO A FULL PLAN.. thanks for wasting my money Ethan C. Allen!.Version: 1.4.1

Bar code readerBar code reader either works really well or not at all. Gets a bit frustrating. I purchased the app after using it f With the free trial and it worked brilliantly. After I purchase the app it’s giving me scanning issues!😳.Version: 7.9.20

Charging after limit reachedPoor be upfront before I waste my time.Version: 1.7.4

ImperfectThis app has potential, but has so many flaws it’s almost unusable. The creators seem in no hurry to fix it..Version: 1.9.3

Not worth it to buy the 14.00 full version. It’s not worth it. Why would I spend 14.00 on something? Maybe 2.00 and that’s it..Version: 1.7.2

Not happyI had to load the ICollect everything app and now everything I had pictures of have changed.Version: 7.9.23

Why make the prices more expensiveI liked the old app and I bought Video Games, Toy Cars and DVDs and it erased my purchases from the app. I really want you to improve that in the future..Version: 8.4.5

Expensive for a databaseI took the movie version first and then I added the everything edition to keep track of my DVDs, music cds and vinyl record collections at the time I didn’t realise that there was a 30 movie limit. Now I have to pay £29.99 for the unlimited DVD version or £59.99 for the unlimited everything version..Version: 8.4.0

DisappointingGot this app to organize and lay out my game collection and it started off really well. Would’ve been nice if they told you it was gonna cost £8.99 to add more than 20 games from the beginning otherwise I would’ve have spent time adding all those games. £2.99 would’ve been reasonable but £8.99?? Some of the games I added to the catalogue didn’t even cost that much..Version: 2.0.6

Frequent data lostApp’s serves have crashed twice while Iv used the app and Iv lost my thousand plus items, so many of them manually added. I wish I’d never spent money on this.Version: 1.9.17

DisappointingApp started off well, perfect to catalog my D&D collection, I was aware that it only allows you to save 75 items then it’s £9.99 after that. However after entering about 10 items it started overwriting previously stored inventory, even though I was creating a new one. Very frustrating. I tried several times but it continued to do this. I decided to send an email via the app to report the issue but there was no send button. Full of bugs, wasted an evening trying to make it work. I’ll stick to excel, would have been happy to pay the additional fee if it worked but I’ve totally thrown the towel in with this. Shame, save your time and look elsewhere..Version: 1.8.7

TerribleThe fact that this is allowed to be classed as a “free” app on the market is a joke. You need a $79 subscription to use it... they give you one month free... it’s disgusting and terrible. This is something that should cost like $3 for unlimited use. What a joke, what an ignorant display of disgust and what a shame that it’s allowed to be classed in the “free” section. Don’t bother downloading, there are WAY better WAY cheaper alternatives elsewhere online..Version: 1.4.1

£4.95 a month!? Fake reviews!Get real! How the hell is this app getting 5 star reviews with a price so high!? I think there adding fake reviews as there is no way people would give it 5 stars with the price so high! Nearly £50 a year for an app you can find better cheaper or free versions? Get real App developer!!!.Version: 1.4.2

What’s the pointWell though it would be a good idea to get a list of my films together started working on them Collection. Hit a 75 limit wall and was asked to pay £9.99 to complete my around 400 collection. Then if I want to start another collection £9.99 again. It’s all very nice to have a list of what you have and you can add stuff like rating, valve etc but I just asked myself what is the point. I would put it all on there and then every look at it again and have paid out a lot of money for a list that i can write up on a computer myself..Version: 1.9.14

Wonderful...... exceptI want to organize by series for some things, but most of it by alphabetical. And luckily there is a way to do this! But... the auto-entry (by barcode) put many of the items into random series categories. And there is no way to CLEAR the series. Once you put it in a series, you can never take it out of a series, only change what series it is in. This is infuriating. I’m in the process of going through all 600 items one at a time and re-adding them, manually, without series. I’ve been at it for 2 hours now and barely scratched the surface. I love the app otherwise, but this is abysmal. Apparently this is only on the movie portion. I just scanned in my books and do not have this problem, I can easily clear the series. Why is it different between mediums?? One other minor point, while I’m here: the images associated? Would it be so hard to have a feature to rearrange which images go first without having to completely start from scratch for each image? That seems like a no-brainer feature that is oddly missing here..Version: 1.9.15

Can't loginIt's a mess. I've reset my password on my laptop a few times. But the phone apps won't even register a login. Instantly rejected. My comic collection app works surprisingly but who know when I'll never be able to get back in!.Version: 8.2.2

Way too expensive. The app causally lets you upload 75 items before asking you to pay £9.99 to upgrade to unlimited. I would never pay £9.99 for a fancy spreadsheet. The app is worth less than a £1. Deleted..Version: 1.9.9

Needs a little workThe app is not bad, and is one of the few apps that can be set up for a customized collection and it doesn’t box you into specific configurations. A couple of things that need improvement: there is a non-currency numeric field but it only allows you have one per record and it cannot accept “0” as a number value. It needs to have a setting to not require images, especially in the wish list. The export needs to allow a full database backup, not just a CSV file. The backup needs to go to a dropbox/google drive type service and be restorable to the app. Auto backups would be even better. This is in case something happens and the Cloud service copy of the database is not right either..Version: 1.7

Decent app for organizing, but beware of glitchesI had the app for a while. A decent amount of time passes, as I’m putting in what information I can… it’s good for six or seven months, and the app suddenly bugs out and I lose all the information - no sign I had done anything with the program - that’s a lot of work that I had spent looking up info on books, and other collections - names, worth model numbers, etc, etc. Just randomly disappeared. “Ok, one time occurrence - I guess I will try again” - put in a decent amount of info for my collections again… then poof - gone again - luckily it wasn’t a lot of time spent before it got lost again. I deleted the app. It was great while organizing, because you could file it and organize it and keep track easily practically by any bit of information - but I got frustrated with it bugging out and losing all the information, several times. I finally got tired of it and deleted it. This was years ago. The app has been updated, so I’ll give it a try and if it keeps working, I’ll adjust my review..Version: 8.2.2

Bait and Switch AppThis garbage developer gives users no warning of how horrible the app is. As soon as you have 30 items recorded you’re told you have reached a limit and need to pay. Tired of these developers putting garbage versions of their PAID apps in the free section. DO NOT USE THIS APP.Version: 7.5.5

ReviewReally do love the app, just feel like the layout could be a bit smoother in regards to how to access fields. Maybe even improve the base look of the app looks quite simple..Version: 7.9.9

Seemed like a good idea, but...........I had the same thing happen as an earlier reviewer. I hit the 75 item limit and was prompted to pay for the unlimited version. After being offered the $5.99 discounted price I took it. Then nothing. The app didn’t update to the better version. If the charge appears and I get nothing there’s problems. Update: It’s now 11 days past my original review. The developers haven’t responded to the review as they have others. The charge was posted by Apple yesterday and my app still hasn’t updated to what I’ve now been charged for. Message has been sent to developers to fix this. Downgraded to zero stars until they address this. Update 2: The developers responded, the app is now fully functional. Will update again as I use it in full. The very quick response to my email has moved it up to 3 stars..Version: 1.7.4

Poor app don’t use!!!!!Avoid at all costs!!! Requires payment after adding a very very low amount to your collection! Much better apps available that are free.Version: 7.9.28

Don’t start your catalogue yet...Waits until you’ve spent time scanning in 20 games before telling you you have to pay £9.99 to carry on. Probably too expensive for many anyway, but a particularly crappy way to go about it. Generated a lack of trust, so won’t be giving them any money. Now to put all my games back away :-(.Version: 1.8.1
