Desktop Groups Lite Pros

✓ Good app; cool; I like it; not totally essential but I do like itThis is an interesting app. It allows you to keep your desktop organized and yet still have easy access to folders. It's a cool app. It's clean and you can put files in it then roll it up so that all that's appearing is the bar. It gets rid of your clutter on the desktop by organizing in various I'll call it folders but their not - actually, let's call it containers. From each container you just run what you want by double clicking like normal. Now, you could have a folder/s on your desktop in which you store stuff. In fact, I do and I have Hazel automatomagically move files from the desktop to these folders. The thing about this app is that you can see easily what's in your container. If the file is in a folder you need to open folder and find the file and of you go. Now these is just a cosmetic/preference thing but I really like the way they look on my desktop. Their so clean and well pretty. I kind of love this and yet their extremely functional. So I also call this a cool app. You can't go wrong if you get it. If you need more than 5 containers you'd have to get the pro version. Otherwise, it's great..KerrydVersion: 1.4.1

✗ Terrible on OS X - Especially YosemiteThis App models itself on Fences, which under windows, seems to just work. On OS X you don’t have any of the same features, for example, you can’t put your drives into a group. (The app itself says create aliases for this, then when you do it says aliases may not open to the drive due to a limitation of the App Store lol??? It’s something that is soreley needed on OS X for people who flood the desktop, but it doesn’t solve any of the problems. On OS X the desktop is treated differently to windows, and while I downloaded this because I use Fences when I use my own Windows install, this just doesn’t work in any way that can save you time or organise anything..AwrecordsVersion: 1.4.1
