✓ Added costs lower on Just EatI’m rather annoyed that these take away apps are now charging other costs like service charge and expecting tips on top so y’all’s pay a tip for the App company plus a tip for the delivery driver which is out of order! Either one or the other, so I’m pleased that Just Eat doesn’t have both costs like Deliveroo and Uber Eats which pile on the charges when all y’all’s want is a good price value takeaway meal . Just Eat is a bit lacking with good grocery shops but even then bc of mistakes from supermarkets and staff I’ve had to ask for refund s but Uber and Deliveroo refuse to give refunds on mistakes they make such as missing items or wrong items I have now got to a point where they refuse to refund you money on missing items etc which is infuriating and criminally wrong. Just Eat doesn’t refuse any refunds if they’ve made a mistake so far . Overall less hassle about tips and more likely to get refunds back . ✗ Culture Switch or Just Bad Service?Fully admitting at the beginning of this review that I put my number in wrong, so when the delivery person tried to contact me I didn’t respond. They apparently emailed and used the building intercom system as well. I’m an abroad student staying as a guest in a house so I don’t use the intercom system and I wasn’t checking my email. Here’s why: Maybe this is a culture difference, but now I’m wondering if it’s just bad service. I assumed that it wasn’t necessary for me to be waiting for the food, and they would just leave it at the given address. That’s how all delivery systems in America work. Heck, they’ll leave your food in the wrong place, but they’ll leave it somewhere. But apparently the driver gets here and can’t contact me so they leave? They didn’t even leave it at the gate with a message on where to find it? I never got my food and I didn’t get a refund because I missed the couriers attempts to contact me. I didn’t even get app credits. Im a college student with very low funds who payed for the food and delivery fee to not even get her food. I thought it was my fault at first, but after looking at some other reviews, I think it’s the result of a poorly organized app and delivery system..Grm100Version: 34.62.0
