Please sort this app out asapOmg ! This app has started to become a nightmare,,started with certain options not being able to be ordered because of glitches but more recently I can't add pizza because it doesn't let u just select it keeps asking for extra toppings and even if you give up and add them the whole thing crashes/kebabs similar issues with extras ! Just crashes! The whole point in the app is convenience because it's dearer than ordering directly by usually £1-2 then added charge for app so if experience issues so annoying as you might as well order from store and save money !!! Please sort the app out as used to be quite handy but the last year has been crap ! Plus reviews is no longer working so can't see what people are saying unless you use website!!!! I like to see what previous customers saying so if having a bad run I can avoid!!!! Get shops menus correct as noticed certain pizza toppings not available on app for atayla cf32 but they are!!!!?! Or either get stores to check their link or get your people on checking current menus!!! I will have to avoid until you have sorted this as currently I can't order kebabs pizza or meal deals as crashes or won't let you add and considering had a update yesterday I'm. TERRIBLE WASTE OF TIME AN MONEY TO USE THIS APPI’ve never taken the time to write a review for an app. At least not that I can remember. But these guys just take the cake for bad quality. I mean. It’s almost impressive how bad considering the day and age we find ourselves in. The app gives no updates when food is on the way. Delivery people will drop it and it will still say THE RESTAURANT IS PREPARING YOUR ORDER. Customer service won’t answer. Absolutely ridiculous. If anything just use this app to see what’s open then call the restaurants directly. You will save time, money, and energy. Do not buy food on this app. Trust me. DID NOT DELIVER—NO WAY TO TELL JUST EATOrdered a food delivery to a hotel in Rome. Correct address of hotel and hotel name. App states it was delivered but no such luck. Do not use this app. It is a scam!!!Tried to order off this app. Everything went smoothly in terms of payment and the order being placed. HOWEVER, the estimated arrival time came and went by over 2 hours with no food in sight. The app does not give updates about the food either and just says „Enjoy your meal!“ Our food never showed up and when contacting customer service, there was a lack of response. Don’t botherOrdered on 03/04 and waited until midnight but didn’t receive any food and couldn’t get a hold of the restaurant at all, it was marked as delivered when the restaurant closed and delivery time changed to the initial estimate. Managed to speak to Just eat the next day and was told they would sort the refund on this occasion as I had been trying to get hold of the restaurant and was impossible. I waited a week and no refund. Contacted them again and they told me there was nothing they could do as the restaurant had to authorise the refund. I managed to contact the restaurant on 09/04 and they said their manager would call me back. No call back so I spoke to him on 10/04 and he said he had contacted Just Eat and I would get my refund within 5 days. I left it a little longer due to the bank holidays and no refund still. I have contacted just eat tonight and they said they have had no contact from the restaurant. The first person I spoke to said she tried to call them but there was no answer. She said for me to try and get them to contact just eat directly or deal with them directly. I got through to them within the first few rings and they are refusing to refund me as they say all they can do is replace my order and email just eat. I then went back to just eat to ask them to call the restaurant again and the people I spoke to refused and said I had to get the refund direct from the restaurant. No help at all!!!.Version: 32.6.0

Culture Switch or Just Bad Service?Fully admitting at the beginning of this review that I put my number in wrong, so when the delivery person tried to contact me I didn’t respond. They apparently emailed and used the building intercom system as well. I’m an abroad student staying as a guest in a house so I don’t use the intercom system and I wasn’t checking my email. Here’s why: Maybe this is a culture difference, but now I’m wondering if it’s just bad service. I assumed that it wasn’t necessary for me to be waiting for the food, and they would just leave it at the given address. That’s how all delivery systems in America work. Heck, they’ll leave your food in the wrong place, but they’ll leave it somewhere. But apparently the driver gets here and can’t contact me so they leave? They didn’t even leave it at the gate with a message on where to find it? I never got my food and I didn’t get a refund because I missed the couriers attempts to contact me. I didn’t even get app credits. Im a college student with very low funds who payed for the food and delivery fee to not even get her food. I thought it was my fault at first, but after looking at some other reviews, I think it’s the result of a poorly organized app and delivery system..Version: 34.62.0

Really poor customer serviceThe app is usually good but god help you if something goes wrong. The problem with just eat is that it makes it almost impossible to get good service. If you order directly from a restaurant and there is something wrong with the food like it’s the wrong order or freezing cold or it’s been sat waiting for delivery for an hour you would complain directly and likely get a refund or replacement if it’s a decent reputable establishment. Just eat is the middleman that enforces what they consider to be the correct outcome often at the detriment to the restaurant and customer. For example, ordered a curry and a kebab from a restaurant with good reviews. It was late and freezing cold. I contacted just eat who refunded me a small percentage even though you really can’t warm a kebab up. I won’t order from there again but if I had been able to sort this out with the restaurant directly they would probably have refunded/replaced and I would have given them another chance. It’s also impossible to speak directly to a human now so you are pretty much on your own if there’s an issue. It’s really gone downhill and I feel sorry for the restaurants who have to sign up with them because of the monopoly they hold over the industry. To top it off and money they give you back is in ‘just eat credit’ so you can’t even make an informed choice about changing providers. Used to be a good service but it’s obvs got way too big and customer service has been sacrificed..Version: 34.65.0

Impossible to report problemsThe app has been redesigned to make it extremely difficult to report problems. My last order the restaurant called to report an issue with the driver, then the driver shows up without part of the order and blames the restaurant. I try to report it in the app, but it’s just a maze of a FAQ without any actual ability to report anything (as far as I can see). Finally just accepted that I lost £7 and deleted the app..Version: 33.39.0

FraudstersI ordered a kfc from bushbury lane which the driver never turned up with. Have used this app many many times so no excuse for not knowing where the address is. We then watched the driver stay on a road around the corner with our order for over 20 mins on the map. At this point I wasn’t accepting the cold ruined food so contacted customer service to cancel and get a full refund. They preceded to argue with me only saying I can get 50% back (utterly unacceptable) basically telling me I’m lieing and the driver has tried ringing 7 times(which they never) only when I explained there are cameras up at the property and threatening to report the company for theft and fraud did I start getting anywhere. A supervisor did not get back in touch as promised twice and I again had to chase this up to be told by another member of staff I’m getting a full refund because they am in a good mood. This is so unacceptable as a person and staff member treating customers. I have used juts eat for many years and regularly. I will now rather pay double the delivery fee on Uber then ever use this app or company again. Horrible Customer Service and FAKE ratingUSE UBER EATS AND OTHER DELIVERY SERVICES. THEY ARE CHEAPER, FASTER, and LESS PROBLEMS. ADDITIONALLY UBER EATS PROVIDED COMPENSATION IF ORDER IS DELAYED. This app DOESN'T. The customer support is awful. Their strategy is apologize, apologize, apologize and end the conversation before the customer can request a refund. If your order is late, all they say is “wait 10-15 min”. No compensation is provided for the delays I know an individual that works for this company and informed me that all employees HAVE to rate this 5/5 before starting their position. Meaning majority (if not all) of the 5 star ratings are fake. Look at the 4 star ratings (usually real customers) and the difference in the AMOUNT of ratings between 5/5 and 4/5 is statistically significant..Version: 33.29.0

Consistently lateI really can’t understand why I still use just eat for deliveries. Sometimes they can be quick but they regularly lure you in with promises of 20-40 minute delivery and turn up after an hour or an hour and a half. You go through the help section, wait in a 40 person queue and have to explain what’s wrong with your order number, then they tell you you’re not in the right department even though it’s a hello text thing through the app. They then put you through an 80 person queue (not exaggerating, this was the worst experience), then when you get in the top 10 the food arrives an hour and a half late. They do give you £5 to spend at a later date to be fair to them but they really are consistent with poor time keeping and not by 5 minutes, the app will tell you the driver is in the restaurant for 40 minutes or much longer and I just can’t fathom why I have to be so lazy and keep using them. I wouldn’t mind if it was a one off but it’s happened 3 times out of about 7 or 8 with such severe lateness. The last time I couldn’t be bothered to complain..Version: 33.26.1

Not great at handling mistakes with the orderI ordered food to the wrong address, yes that was my mistake although its very easy to miss the address as the text is quite small and its like 2 taps to complete the delivery which i suppose is good but maybe it would be good to have bigger address text on the confirmation screen Anyway, so i ordered the wrong address so i straight away looked in the app to see if i could change the delivery address.. the app said i had to ring the restaurant. So i rang the restaurant and they said they aren't allowed to change the address and i would have to do it through just eat! I asked if they were sure and they checked and said theyve asked just eat drivers before they dont accept address changes unless its changed through the app. So now i open up a chat with a robot in the just eat app who transfers me to a human. I talked to a human but the humans replies were very slow and robot like, and im in a hurry now because my food might get delivered to the wrong address! The dude asks me some security questions which apprently were incorrect but he wouldnt tell me which details were incorrect so didnt know what else he wanted to know!!!! The chat ended so i opened up a new chat, this new person said i cant change the address!!! So i had to do a cancellation but only got a refund of 50%?!? Cancels the order but charges you anyway75% of the time, the payments “fail” but you get the charge anyway, with no food. There’s absolutely no way to dispute or report this to Just Eat themselves so I’ve had to contact my bank and dispute the charges that way. The only reason I continue to use it is bc no other delivery service near me uses paypal. Overall, this service is an absolute last resort so long as you’re willing to have to dispute charges later and wait a million years for your food anyway.Version: 33.42.0

Mostly good - Bad when they fake assigning a delivererThe app is mostly good. There are a lot of good quality restaurant options with reasonable prices. The main issue comes with the app itself. They will “assign” a driver and then the driver will never show up to the restaurant and eventually the restaurant will cancel the order. Just eat will claim it’s the restaurant but on more than one occasion I’ve had the restaurant send their own driver after canceling the order to give me a free meal for the wait. The lack of customer service is a huge downside. If you can’t find a driver, say so don’t fake assign one!!!.Version: 33.39.0

When it works it work but when it doesn’t prepare for nonesensePlaced an order at 7.24 as I have done lots of times before. Half an hour and no driver has been assigned, this isn’t the first time this has happened so I wait a bit longer. An hour later I’m still waiting for a driver to be assigned. So I contact live chat and ask them to cancel my order which as of yet has not even been made. They ask me to wait 10-15 minutes and I say no. Cancel the order. The lady on live chat declines this (btw there were 500 people waiting in the live chat queue). She proceeds to tell me I can cancel the order myself on the app. You absolutely can’t. Had this first conversation led to a cancellation on the order I would have been fine. I tried live chat again 15 minutes later as I’m still waiting for driver. Ask them to cancel the order as I already have food now and charge me if you’d like, at this point I just don’t care I don’t want a driver turning up at 10pm. To her credit she cancelled my order. This is now 2 hours after I placed the order. Just eat I don’t want your £5 credit. I want to have food delivered in a reasonable amount of time. If you can’t do this, don’t take the order and then certainly don’t make the cancellation process so difficult. I will use other food delivery companies from now on and I advise you do the same..Version: 33.21.0

Food stuck being picked up with driver and never turned upI’m not the only one here but this was the 4 time I’ve ordered from just eat having ordered many times from Uber eats without an issue. Well I will be sticking with Uber! Ordered a McDonald’s at 6:20 and waited an hour before becoming concerned. The timing kept getting knocked back and I accepted it until 8:20 when I knew enough was enough. I then proceeded to spend 2 hours trying to use their help services which you can only do by chatting to someone. Wasn’t till 4 hours later someone cancelled my order, what was the problem “the driver could change the tagging” whatever that meant. This means food has possibly went to waste and I was also left without an order. The driver couldn’t simply cancel the order as another driver would be allocated, apparently this was trying to happen 4 hours later, yeah right. Why isnt this system better, surely it should be fool proof for allocating drivers and them delivering it to you, as well as the system being able to spot orders that have took way too long and fix an error automatically. Good, but buggyI've used this app a few times now. I like the interface, it's clean and intuitive. However, it's not without its bugs. I placed an order the other day and it ended up getting placed twice (On the order screen I pressed Place Order and after watching a spinning circle for a few seconds I was taken back to the same screen, so I pressed the button again and the same thing happened. Then two emails arrived with different order numbers. I went back to the app and only then did it display the order completed screen). I called up the helpline and the guy cancelled one of the orders, but that all took me more time and inconvenience than if I'd just called up the restaurant and ordered directly... Update - still not great several years since I first reviewed it. If I'm ordering multiple of the same item it is hit and miss whether I can select the number from a list, rather than having to add the same item over and over again. Very annoying. Hungry House was better, they should have kept that app when they bought them....Version: 27.1

A few okay orders don’t make up for disastersAbout half the orders I’ve placed on Just Eats have turned out fine— I got my food relatively on time and it was all there. The other half have been varying degrees of TERRIBLE. Once I got my food and only half of it was there. I had to scramble to find the restaurant’s contact info (not listed in the app), try to contact Just Eats (their “help” is either robots or pages that suggest complaining to the restaurant). Another time, a Just Eats delivery driver forcefully damaged my neighbor’s gate. When I complained, I was shuffled through several different contacts until finally I was asked to give my personal contact information to the private driver— WHY would I want them to have my number? Finally, tonight the app said my food had been delivered— 45 minutes before the driver even left the restaurant with my food. Two hours later, and the driver is still not here. I trust the restaurant, having had good experiences with them through Uber Eats. I will not be using Just Eats again. I can’t “just eat” if my food never arrives or I have to spend the evening placating my irate neighbors. The app is glitchy, the service is terrible..Version: 33.38.0

Customer Service tragedyI have been ordering from Menu log due to their relatively good deals however the last 3 instances I never received my food. It gets marked as delivered with the food no where in sight. Upon reaching out to customer service they were very unhelpful and at many times rude. I was issued refunds and $10 vouchers on the first 2 orders which is why I continued to try and order but on the 3rd they said “due to repeat claims we will not issue a refund” so I paid $25 for absolutely nothing. The worst delivery service in existenceIncorrect delivery time estimates, lack of customer service, and clearly poor policy for drivers. While i understand that there is going to be some variance based on the driver, the restaurant, traffic, etc. there is no excuse for how poor this service is. I have issues with my orders more often than not. For example today i ordered from a restaurant and the app gave me an estimated delivery time. As it got closer i got a message saying “your driver is one the way”. After that time came and went i opened the app again to see a message saying “enjoy your meal” even though it had not been delivered. I went to the “issue with my order” option to try to get assistance and after saying my food was not delivered i got an automated message saying they will get back to me in 7 business days. SEVEN. As i said, i have issues more often than not with this app and i would recommend you use a different service if you can (i unfortunately cannot at my location). Their business model seems to be just hoping people won’t follow up on reports of late or missing items after waiting 9 plus calendar days. Don’t ask for a refund!!!Ordered some food from a place on just eat but the food never arrived I got in contact with the food place who told me it would be a little while longer so I waited, another hour goes by and nothing so now I’m really annoyed and call up and just asked for a refund they told me that’s fine we will process the refund for you ok so far so good. 7 days go by and you may be wondering why did you wait 7 days and I’ll tell ya it’s because that’s how long it can take for a refund to process on just eat anyway I get nothing not even an email from just eat so I think ok the takeaway place has taken my money so I get onto just eat app and find some help… what a joke that was the first person I talk to asked me to explain what happened but half way through me typing he just up and left the chat which is always a good sign 2nd time they tell me they need to transfer me to another person and they tell me that because I didn’t chat to them within 72 hours about this there is nothing they can do about it bare in mind that it takes 7 days to process a refund so I basically got scammed and just eat can’t or won’t do anything about this. Add hygiene ratingsGood enough app, I’ve been using but for years for our weekly takeaway. Only had a problem when the app was first launched but smooth running ever since so I would’ve have given it 5 stars but it could be so much better. It takes a very long time for me to place an order because I usually have to order for a vegetarian celiac AND I want to order from somewhere with a good government hygiene rating. If I walk into a place and it looks dirty or has a poor rating I walk straight back out. I care about that online too. I have the following suggestions just off the top of my head, I’m sure there’s plenty of other improvements they could make. 1) They should enforce all restaurants to state allergens under on the items ie JustEat could easily device a coding system and get the restaurant to add these to their menus. Some restaurants do include this information and it makes things so much easier. 2) They should clearly display the up to date hygiene rating not just add a link to the .gov website, where you need to type in the name of the restaurant. This is supposed to be a mobile app after all!.Version: 30.0.1

Unless you enjoy being Robbed, don't.Not sure what these people pay their drivers. Obviously not enough to deliver food I paid for to my door. Twice my deliveries-tracked me watching-looked as tho' v close to my door. Did not ring my bell but said delivered. The customer services, dreadful, sounded amused and said leave your review with the restaurant on the app. I rang the restaurant who's reply was, sorry not our problem. My money-not freely earned-taken and all but me laughing to their banks, or happier than my, bellies. This needs investigating by the police. Good luck with that. Personally I say in these times, if you are not disabled, do what we used to do in this country, call ahead, collect it yourself. Or book a table at the restaurant. Ate my FoodI accidentally sent my food to a place here in Rome Italy next to me, so I went to go pick up my food and caught the driver eating and drinking it, then threw the rest away, I went to talk to him and he said that justeats cancelled the order, even though I was still charged 78 dollars with no attempt to reach out to me. I used their customer support and tried to tell them this, but they said they couldn’t reach out to me, even though I gave them my email and phone number(no one tried) and got no refund. Food never arrived. I won’t use the app anymore, I’ll explain you why.1st time all smooth. 2nd time ordering was Friday night, ordered 19:40pm, food arrival time set for 20:30. At 20:45 chatted with a robot indicating me that restaurant added 5minutes more to finish order. A few minutes later chatted with a real person and told me food it’s late and will arrive for sure in 15-20minutes (at this point that person from JustEat knew there was never driver assigned, I guess they just wanted to get rid of me). At this point my app view said Driver assigned. At 21:10 restaurant called me indicating that food have been sitting for 30 minutes and driver never came to pick it up. They said they called JustEat and told them about it and JustEat apparently told them that they can’t garante that a driver can go and pick up the food. In the meantime, I was waiting for the food. Restaurant told JustEat that they could remake the food if they send a driver but JustEat told them they couldn’t guarantee that. Again I try to chat over the late order, got to chat with a Robot again, indicating again that restaurant added 5 min to the order, clearly Robot isn’t functional and is stupid to make ppl think is AI robot, anyway. This just clearly indicates how JustEat whole process runs behind from their side. I guess I learnt from this and won’t use them anymore. Of course, after I have to spend time calling them to cancel myself the order and get a refund that I’m still waiting for....Version: 33.9.0

Utterly useless. Regularly.If I could give 0 stars, I would. The last 4 deliveries, from different restaurants, have been either wrong, missing items, or both. We contacted Just Eat every time, wanting our deliveries corrected (the missing food delivered) and they refused. They refunded the missing items and as we had to drive to the restaurants each time to pick up the missing dinners anyway, we asked them to refund the delivery charge. They flatly refused. Their best offer was £2 credit to our account, which meant we were always still out of pocket for the petrol we’d used. The first 3 times we agreed and once we were off the phone, they never ever did the credits. Ever. My husband has spent over a working day in total over the course of NUMEROUS phone calls to them about this as the 4th time it became a point of principle, and spoke to God knows how many “managers” who all talked the exact same script at him about how it was physically impossible on their system to refund it, which it blatantly isn’t. They lie and they steal your money for not doing the ONLY job they’re paid to do - deliver what you ordered to save you collecting it. Utterly dreadful and I hope someone actually takes them to court for this because I can only imagine the money they are making by avoiding returning people’s money fraudulently..Version: 33.19.0

Very bad experience!I don't usually write reviews, but this app is so bad that it definately worths a review! 1. There is no picture on the menus. It only shows one or two pictures on the restaurant level, but not for individual dishes. I have no idea what to expect when I look at the menu. 2. Many drivers are so lazy that they even don't want to find the door of the building. Instead, they call me and ask me to come to them somewhere around the block. 3. Restaurants cancel orders so frequently. In the worst day, my orders were cancelled twice by two restaurants (after 30 mins wait for each one). I was starved. Do not use this appI have used pretty much every food delivery app in multiple countries. This is by far the worst for 2 main reasons. 1. Their interface/app itself is garbage and looks like it’s been designed by a child. They give no updates on food delivery times which can be delayed by over an hour (which is actually very common). All the app does is give you a pretty loading screen while you try to find a way to get an update on your order. 2. They blame you for the delivery driver taking your food, And not give a refund. Here’s what happened to me (which now see is not an uncommon event with this app). I ordered food normally, I waited an hour and 15 min for my food which is the estimated delivery time. I do not get my food. I contact support, I ask them what happened, they said I didn’t answer the driver’s call so he left with my food. The app is good, but appalling customer service!The app itself works very well, it is smooth and easy to use, the customer experience you get with justeat themselves however is abysmal, and just recently it seems to be having more issues than a little with orders being severely delayed even when ordered well in advance for a specific time, when you have an issue with the order there is no direct way of making a complaint to justeat, as this is a long and complicated process just to speak to somebody, then when you do get through to a “human” the answers you receive are heavily scripted and almost copied and pasted, the main issue I have had with justeat is that the customer service agents just seem to pass the book when it comes to dealing with a customer complaint, to the point where you get fed up of dealing with it..... and there is no physical phone number to ring as all that does is redirect you to an answer machine that tells you to check the website.... also don’t expect a refund if your order doesn’t turn up as I’ve spent multiple weeks chasing a refund for an order that was not delivered to myself and been given empty promises of an investigation/ refund “within 48hrs” only to hear nothing from the supposed “investigations team” they just seem to be interested in getting as much money as they can without caring about the customers who PAY to use their service.....Version: 33.17.0

Just leaveOrdered a meal and was over an hour late. They blamed just eat, just eat blamed the restaurant. Finally got a refund, apparently just eat can’t do that they give vouchers. So used them and kind of forgot about late meal. Then ordered a third meal from a restaurant five minutes walk from my house. Ten minutes after the 45 minute delivery time I called the restaurant and they said the driver was there and food was going in his hand, and then the delivery time changed. 20 minutes later my house mate saw the delivery driver walking away from the building. He’d gone to the rear entrance, hadn’t knocked, and was walking away. I confronted him and he said he’d tried ringing, but I showed him my phone and he got abusive a then tried ringing me. My phone rang and I pointed out it was my first call. I called the restaurant to complain and was told driver left as soon as my call ended so he drive around for 20 minutes, didn’t try to contact me and then got abusive when I caught him out. Restaurant was very nice saying they are governed by just eat and were considering leaving them as they mess up all the time. They said just eat changed delivery time to make sure that they didn’t fail that. Customer service was none existent from just eat but great from the restaurant. Should be shut downI wish I understood how they hire their drivers. You place an order, and no one picks it up, and after three hours, when you give up, they show up at your door. Terrible customer serviceThe app works really well and is easy to use with everything you need. Totally put off of using just eats app again when I ordered food at 10:15am and by 11:15am I still hadn’t received anything but got a call from the driver telling me he had gone to the wrong house. He asked for my address which I told him and also text to him, he told me he would be right with me within the next 10mins. 30mins went by and still nothing. The tracker for the driver had stopped, the delivery was marked as delivered but I still hadn’t received my food. I decided to call the restaurant and question the issue, they told me I’d have to cal Just Eat themselves and make a complaint. After 15 mins of trying to get through I was simply told that my complaint had been logged, it will be sent to an investigation team and I will receive an email about an update to my complaint within the next 48 but in the meantime there’s nothing they can do. So I waited a week for an email and nothing. I called just eat and they said they can’t do anything but speak to the restaurant and I will have to wait for another email from their investigation team. Don’t Believe The Reviews***The positive reviews contain many reviews for restaurants and not JE*** Go with Uber Eats instead or even Deliveroo. The Just Eat app is shockingly bad. For example, I placed an order and paid for that order. The app then gives me an upper and lower limit on delivery time. Then 59 minutes AFTER the latest possible delivery time, the application tells me that they’re still waiting for a driver and the restaurant hasn’t started preparing the order. Obviously in the ‘real world’ those two assertions can’t be simultaneously true. It gets worse tho - then six minutes after those 59 minutes past the latest possible delivery time. The app tells me the order has been delivered. Of course it’s not reasonably possible and had not, but their inept system has maybe registered a time out on the order and defaulted its status to complete. So two hours after I started this nonsense ordeal, I ordered the same thing from Uber Eats. 25 minutes later it arrives, bang on time and in exact synchronisation with what the application is telling me. Order not arriving/estimated timeThe last two ordered I have placed with just eat have been horrendous. One from costa I ordered arrived an hour past the latest time it was scheduled to arrive, I had to leave for work so no one was even able to have this order when delivered due to food allergies. My last order with McDonald’s never arrived. I waited over two hours past the last way scheduled time for it to arrive and it never did. It was very difficult to even speak to someone about this order, to “chat” to someone I was told to go through a route which didn’t even apply to why I needed to speak with someone. After speaking I stated I wanted a refund not credit, and I was credited. I was not even credited the full amount, I was still charged for services fee and deliver fee, which baring in mind I never received this order. After speaking with someone yet again, today. Terrible customer service, they don’t care!Used this app frequently for many years now. Great variety of restaurants. Never had an issue until now. I ordered 2 different calzones and when they both arrived, they had a funny taste like it was old ingredients or been near perfume or chemical. Both calzones had this taste, I contacted just eats and they sent a generic response stating ‘each restaurant has their own style, ingredients and way of cooking so they will taste different from other ones. I understand this but there is a box standard taste which it should vary too far from, this wasn’t edible and had to be binned as it tasted chemically or old. I responded with this and they practically said ‘our decision is made, just leave a review for the restaurant you ordered from. 3 of us in the house said it tasted off and we eat calzones often. We had to order a new takeaway from else where. Overall great app, great variety and hardly any issues, just don’t expect much help from them if you have an issue. Awful!We have used just eat a lot which goes fine until you have an issue with the service! Just been ripped off - £50 wasted on awful foodI chose YouRice for a family takeaway because it came at the top of the selection of local Chinese takeaways on JustEat, due to their 'reviews'. Huge mistake!! I should have taken time to read through the reviews elsewhere on other websites and would have seen just how awful the restaurant is. Food arrived half an hour after the expected delivery time; it was stone cold; the portions for the main meals came in smaller-than-normal sized containers and were barely half full; tasteless and a complete waste of £50. A lot of it went straight in the bin. The restaurant don't answer their phone. JustEat washed their hands of the problem, with various excuses, finally saying the restaurant wouldn't approve a refund so hard luck. They then terminated the online chat abruptly. Adding ability to give additional delivery details with the order - delivery riders can never find my flat from address - I have to tell them the same thing every time. Contacted JustEat sent a picture through and they only agreed to provide a credit note for the burger. Refused a refund for whole order. Credit note never applied to account. Contacted again and they lie through their teeth and said it had. Contacted again and now it can only be applied if you pay by card and not PayPal or Apple Pay. Why should customers give their debit card details over? Makes you wonder if this app is secure? Happy to take payment by Apple Pay. Tried again tonight but no credit applied. Judging by the reviews it’s about time Trading Standards got involved with this lot. People are paying nearly double since lockdown and some companies are getting away with presenting a shocking quality of food. Add to that they charge you 50p plus to use the app. You should have recourse to a full refund if the standard is poor or food cold. Avoid and don’t use..Version: 34.62.0

Awful ServiceThe most abysmal customer service I have ever received, placed an order through just eat for an order from Greggs, the driver picked up the wrong order and delivered me the wrong one, when speaking to the restaurant they informed me that my order was on the counter ready to be collected but I had to contact just eat, when speaking to one of their incompetent customer service agents they stated I needed to speak to the restaurant and that they were unable to arrange someone to deliver my order and that I would have to take photos of the receipt and the order as proof and they would get back to me within 24 hours. Absolute disgusting customer service, two orders that have been delivered to the wrong people and wasted food, I will NEVER use this absolutely useless service again. I expect my refund ASAP. The lovely lady in the restaurant even offered to drop it to me and could not have been more apologetic, this company makes these restaurants look bad for their incompetence and clearly stupid delivery drivers who cannot seem to read the correct order number on a receipt. The sheer fact that the delivery driver was in the restaurant at the time when I called but refused to speak to me or deliver my order when I live 10 minutes away, absolutely disgusting service and awful people operating this money grabbing company making a bad name of these restaurants..Version: 34.66.0

Driver No Show and App owners don’t careOrdering your food through the app is easy. The user interface is good. The is issue is getting your food after you pay. I had the restaurant say the driver picked up the food. You can track your order in the app, but then is says delivered, but you are still waiting for your food. The restaurant says it is not their problem. When you contact Just Eat through the app, they give you the virtual finger. Somebody got paid and somebody’s eating. It’s just not you..Version: 35.6.0

ScamI ordered food that I have not received. It turns out that the restaurant is no longer in business, yet it’s still on the app. Contacted the app via chat multiple times, they said they were looking into it, 3 weeks later and still no refund!.Version: 34.64.0

I can’t get a refund for my driver stealing my order!I ordered a meal which would take about 15-20 minutes to arrive. After 35 minutes of waiting I checked the app to see the driver at the restaurant. Then after an hour of waiting for my food I checked the location of my driver who was “on way” to find that he was at the other side of the city with my order in a residential area where he stayed for a further 2 hours until he turned his location tracker off on the app. I attempted to contact Just Eat through the app which then referred me to the just eat website where I left a complaint (which they never responded to). The next day I emailed just eat and left a complaint AND attempted to phone about 3 different phone numbers (I was on a waiting list on all of these lines for about 20 minutes each and gave up). I still haven’t received any word back on this event never mind a refund, very disappointed considering I’ve never had to make a complaint about this app….Version: 34.56.0

Horrible serviceDo not use this app. You will never get your food. They will cancel the order after you’ve waited for the entire delivery window. The worst customer service!Customer service is terrible they never get my orders right and when I modify them they always screw up so I hope today my order is done correctly.Version: 33.23.0

Stay away from JustEat they will almost never get an order right but apparently thats your faultI have ordered from JustEat numerous times and struggle to remember them delivering an order that was 100% correct. Usually you tell them whats missing and they credit it back to your account. Which sometimes is alright if its a drink or a side dish but other times its just disgraceful for example I have a family of 5 and one person will be missing half or all of their meal! Usually my youngest so he sits crying wheres his happy meal while everyone else is expected to eat. A refund doesn't really cut it on those occasions a sincere apology might but you wont get one. I recently ordered from McDonalds who kindly inserted a note to say they were out of an item we ordered so please claim a refund for that item. Sounds simple until JustEat refused on the basis Ive had too many credits in the past! So basically their staff either dont check the order, steal items from you or blackholes are randomly appearing in their delivery bags but regardless of which thats your fault as a paying customer. Id say use Uber Eats instead but they are just as bad if not worse! Id honestly give less than 1* if it was possible.Version: 34.57.0

Customer Service was disgusting!Customer service was horrible we paid for £48 worth of food the driver then left the food on the floor and quickly left before we could confirm that it was out order which it wasn’t we sent the receipt to them as we said this isn’t our order we had throw it away as my girlfriend was ALLERGIC to most of the items in that order that was given to us. However, according to their ‘policy’ as we had thrown it away they weren’t able to give us a refund as the food was consumed/thrown away. Honestly the poorest customer service I’ve had to deal with. I recommend not to order big orders from this place as they get money hungry as they won’t give you back any of your money I sent multiple email to them explaining my food was here we was given the wrong order showed pictures of the receipt and also have LIVE footage of the driver leaving it on the floor and quickly returning to his card as by the way he moved so fast to get back in his car indicates he knew it was the wrong order but didn’t want to take responsibilities for giving us the wrong order. Honestly it’s disgusting the fact they won’t refund us knowing we’ve shown proof of the receipt that was completely wrong and wasn’t even worth the amount we had paid for. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS APP IF YOU WANT A REFUND THEY WONT GIVE IT TO YOU!!.Version: 35.3.0

Orders not receivedI orders breakfast meal for my family from the USA yesterday and nothing got delivered from 10am-10pm. However, at some point, the app says delivered but nothing was received. There was zero means online to get help and customer was equally useless. I need all my money back!?.Version: 34.54.1
