BeerSmith 2, the top selling home brewing software, comes to iPhone and iPad! The Lite version lets you view, time, and carry your recipes on the go (no editing). BeerSmith Lite lets you search from thousands of beer recipes on our BeerSmithRecipes database, and download and view them on your phone or tablet. The app is also tightly integrated with our desktop software and cloud recipe service, making it a snap to view your recipes on the go. An integrated brew day timer with notifications shows you step by step instructions for your recipes and plays an alarm as each completes. ✓ Does as advertisedThis is a great brew day companion app, without a doubt. A robust integrated timer is what I've been looking for, and by pulling up my Beer Smith cloud recipes and it auto-timing my hop charges and mash timers, I'm having much more relaxed, and stress free brew days. ✗ Didn’t keep pace with users needsThis app and its paid sister are both years behind the alternatives. The sad part is that it started out years ahead of the competition when home brewing was really taking off. Tech native brewers flocked to the mobile app when released. They had a huge online community and I imagine a lot of paid subscribers. But the mobile app never got the features requested or updates needed, and the desktop app looked and felt like it was stuck in 1995. I feel BeerSmith is too far behind to ever catch up now..Version: 2.3.6
