✓ ReliableI used to have the previous version for years and this new one I like better. Though I would have put 4instead of 5 stars is because, (I am getting too precise) but would be great if the app could communicate with all your devices, since I have it in all of mine and sometimes I have to look for a PW through my devices, since I cannot recall where exactly I saved it. ✓ This versionHello This version of iPassword that I am using now I like it very much. But I believed there was another version of iPassword I started to use before this version. I used that version until I updated to Apple IOS version 14.1 after that my iPhone and iPad said the Arthur has to update the older version. The problem I am having I cannot open the other app and retrieve all the passwords that I have saved overtime. I am hoping you all can help me out on this. ✓ Problems On iPhone XS MaxLove the app it’s the best password app I’ve found...but since I’ve upgraded to the iPhone XS Max the app won’t open unless I delete it, reinstall it and restore backup. As soon as I close it down again after I use it and try to go back into app it won’t open again so I have to do it all over again. I hope the next update fixes this problem..Version: 5.3

✓ Great appThis is a well organized app which I find extremely useful. In fact, it is a life saver. You can easily access it with Touch ID, so you don’t need to fuss with putting in a main password. However, by using Touch ID constantly it is easy to forget the main password, so make sure you save it somewhere. It is impossible to change the password without knowing the original one. The app is well organized so you can keep passwords in folders, making it easy for those of us who have hundreds of passwords. All email passwords, for example can be easily accessed this way. Besides the problem with forgetting the main password, you can’t sync multiple devices. Thus, 4 stars instead of 5..Version: 5.0

The only downside and reason for loss of a star was that when I set up my new iPhone 6 and wanted to port everything from the 5s, this app was the only one that would migrate! ✓ Great app!!!!This is an app that you just have to play around with to figure out. I read the reviews to understand what it was capable of doing. Not only can you save all your personal information, you can save your logins and websites so you don't even have to type them in or go to bookmarks. Yes, the directions are non-existent but the pro version is only $5. The competition is charging $14-$70 per year of use and if you think this one is bad just try those. Once you take the time with a little trial and error, you will love it! I have my passport id in there, my daughters ss#, all these important things that I never would have thought about putting on my phone before this app. Works with fingerprint on iPhone 7+. I will be using at least a dozen times per day just for the ease of my most used websites and the logins for my business. Only syncs to iCloud over wifi or hard cable with iTunes. ✓ If your app crashes on iPhone Xs, READ THISTo anyone reading this and whose app crashes after restoring old phone onto a new one WITH FACE ID... I think the problem comes from having the face id option checked, so before backing up your old phone or before uploading the app’s backup file uncheck the option and it should work fine on your new phone. Just dont enable it again as this will cause the app to crash the next time upon trying to open it. You have to leave it unchecked until a proper upgrade is available. And to you, the developer... I love the password generator and that I can then just edit the generated password to include the spec characters I need it to have. It would be nice if I could assign logos from my apps to each record. It would also be nice if I could add verification questions and answers. I currently put them in notes and put silly answers to the questions so nobody can steel my identity. The only issue i have is when I’m flicking between apps to use the password or other data then it logs you out every time and you have to log back in which is a slight bind but I understand why, security. ✓ IPhone XI just received my new iPhone X all seemed well until I attempted to open iPassword the app shuts down and will not stay open. Tried downloading the free version and it tells me there is not a backup in the cloud which I know there is one. There is not a way to contact the developer except through fb messenger it that app wants to activate my integrated iMessage and messenger in order to use the app to contact him which I refuse to do I have the two apps for a reason..... Not at all happy at this time and raging mad if I am unable to recover my passwords. I am an IT tech and I have tons of company, customers and my own personal information that I am unable to get to. It is app like this that make pen and paper start to look good even without security at least you will have your information. ✓ I freaking love iPassword! It saves me everyday!It’s easy, secure, and fast. Backing up my bajillion logins and passwords is easy and I can back up to plenty of location with a couple taps. Dropbox, google drive, and just about anywhere else I want to back it up to. Best of all if I lose my phone, it gets stolen, broken, falls in a pool, whatever, I get all my logins and passwords and financial info back on my new phone with a couple tops of the screen. It’s a lifesaver for those reasons, not to mention the fact that on a daily basis I end up needing to remember some obscure password that I almost never use but when I do and can’t remember it I password is right there. I don’t even have to try to remember passwords anymore. I just got a text from my wife asking what our Adobe cloud login and password is. Within seconds I can text it to her. I have stored all of my personal and work passwords in this app. I recently purchased a iPhone XR and had issues with the app on the new phone. I tried to restore many times via iCloud or iTunes. It finally took me about a week to figure out that I needed to disable the Touch ID access in the app on my old phone and then do a back up again. I then did a restore on the new phone. The developer has not updated for facial recognition which causes the app to not open on phones that have facial recognition enabled..Version: 6.0

✓ Correction to earlier review issues.Found the reason why new version 6.6 is not working on my iPhone and iPad. When items are set to “Dark” mode settings, certain entry fields in Password(Pro) app with white background is not showing the typed info. Noticed that if I switch the Display&Brightness to “Light” mode settings, typed info is now showing. Apparently app is not functioning correctly in “Dark” mode. Great app!! No issues if you set the Display&Brightness to “Light” mode. It’s a 5 star app if issues are corrected. (Earlier review) Issues with new Version 6.6 Updated to version 6.6 for “Password Manager Pro” a week ago. App is having issues on iPhone and iPad. Can no longer enter/type a title on template page. Also no longer able to enter info in notes section. This is also an issue if you try to revise a template title or change notes on a previous created template. Not sure if this is a compatibility/bug issue with the new iOS 13.4.1 that I also recently downloaded. A long time user of the app. Never had any problems. ✓ IPassword Pro and iPassword +Sorry this is long, but if I don't give my own experiences then perhaps the developers of this app might not fully understand what's happening. After using iPassword + for quite a few years on various iPads and iPhones, the latest of which were the iPhone 7 and 8 without any trouble, we both my wife and I recently upgraded our phones to the XS. Neither mine nor my wife's phone are able to open this app since the new upgrade. Luckily my older iPad still works with this app and the ability to backup to Dropbox has saved a lot of headaches. I even upgraded to the iPassword Pro to see if that would work with the new XS. Guess what...no If you delete the app and then reload it from the app store it'll make you sign in like you were a new user (use your original password) but at least then you're able to restore your information (mine was Dropbox). Walah your done your info is back, or so you thought!! When you close the app and try to open it again later it won't open. Leaves me very frustrated knowing that with the most popular iPhone out there the developers of this app are lagging behind trying to sort this bug out..Version: 6.0

I could not save my folder and send my files so I can retrieve it again. I did also backup my iPhone before transferring to new iPhone but it did not allow me to read in my data to new iPhone. ✓ Issue with upgrading to iPhone XR resolved (for me at least)Love the app. Been using it for 5+ years. Just an FYI. I upgraded from an iPhone 5s (with Touch ID) to an iPhone XR (with facial recognition) around Christmas of 2018. iPassword would crash when I tried to open it. Been happening for over a month now. I installed the latest update as of today (Feb 2, 2019). Still the same issue. My crashing issue has something to do with migrating an iPassword database with Touch ID enabled to an iPhone with Face ID (Touch ID not supported). The key is to disable Touch ID in the settings section within the iPassword app on the old iPhone before moving the database to a newer iPhone with Face ID. I put together the following instructions to hopefully help others who may be experiencing the crashing issue. On your old iPhone, which can be any version that supports Touch ID. 1) Open iPassword, select the “Settings” tab (bottom right) and disable the Touch ID feature. 2) Backed up the database to iCloud. You can use any of the available backup methods. I used iCloud because it is quick and easy. 3) On the newer iPhone , “Reset Face ID” in “Face ID & Passcode” in Settings. 4) Open iPassword using your existing password. 5) From the settings tab (from within iPassword), restore your database from your backup location. 6) Log into iPassword with password. 7) Setup Face ID in “Face ID & Passcode” in Settings. iPassword now works with Face ID enabled. iPassword currently doesn’t appear to support Face ID, but at least the app no longer crashes..Version: 6.0

✓ A combination of Face ID and 11.4.1 breaks this !As several other folks have posted, 11.4.1 and Face ID causes this app to open the immediately close. It also breaks the iCloud backup link. Luckily I have a copy on my iPad Pro which still works with Touch ID. I have database backups on my home PC using the WiFi backup option. If anything happens to one of us, the other person has access to their accounts. I have written the master password down and given it to my mom in case something happens to both of us. ✓ Great app - I recommend this to my friendsI’ve been using the pro version for about two years and it’s been solid. Just be aware any password name you use cannot have a “/“ symbol. This may have been corrected, but that caused some issues for me early on. The ease of backing up your file is one of the best benefits. Again, this may have been corrected, but early on, there was not a direct method to sync across devices. Workaround - backup the file from the primary device and then restore that file on up the secondary device. Changed jobs twice in that time frame and the app manager kept me straight. Great app that has been worth every penny! Well written program that is easy to use. Before you put too many passwords in it, it is worth it to play around with it a bit. A lot of the features are very handy. You can choose thumb print to secure if you want or stay with the password protection. ✓ Having issues on move to iPhone X from 6s PlusI have used this app for years now. I would rate this app higher except for the problem recently encountered when I moved my wife from her 6s Plus to iPhone X. For whatever reason she cannot turn on FaceID as the app will just crash when trying to open. On her 6s she used Touch ID without issue, and I used Face ID on this very same iPhone X. I move to Xs Max and reset X to factory, loaded her 6s backup onto new phone and app would crash upon opening. After numerous app deletes and re-installs figured out as soon as she turns on FaceID the app crashes when trying to open. If you restore a backup that had Touch ID or Face ID on when backed up can load the file but after you close the app and try to reopen it crashes. Restored that same backup file on my Xs Max without issue. So did a backup on the old 6s phone without Touch ID turned on and things working good as long as Face ID isn't activated. Sent info as above to developer email but haven't heard back since the submission. This issue has been fixed and Face ID is now working on the iPhone X with database backup from iPhone 6s. Sep 2/19 - love this app now it's working again on all installs. Both myself and wife use this app and are lost without it because of all the online accounts people have these days..Version: 7.0.3

Only negative feedback would be that they haven't updated all the new accounts such as AOL, ADP and such. It would be really easy to give a bank of choices and let the person pick the ones they use instead of preloading a few. It is workable because you can make generic ones and erase the original name and add what you need to put in but it would be more user friendly. ✓ TeriinSCI recently bought iPhone XR- had a hard time getting the restore to stick but figured it out. You must manually move data over (follow directions in Ipassword app under settings icon in the lower right of the screen) once you restore to the new iPhone X model you will be able to open the app once and only once before you are locked out mysteriously- so do not close the app! Go to settings (within the app) and disable touch sign in. You will have to enter password manually from then on (until ipassword comes up with an updated version compatible with Face ID..Version: 6.0
✓ Great App! - Read if your Xs keeps crashingJust wanted to write a review as I have been using this app for years. It works great and I have customized the templates. Today I upgraded from an iPhone 6 to Xs. This app was working great on old phone, but keeps crashing every launch on the new phone. Kept having to uninstall/reinstall and restore every time I wanted to use the app. Possibly because my old phone had thumbprint enabled my database defaults to using Face ID. Restore your database, turn Face ID off in the app settings and it stopped crashing for me. Able to reproduce the issue multiple times.. so something with that feature is causing the crashes. Fix that and this app is a 5! But hope this helps others with the same issue!.Version: 6.0

The biggest con is the connectivity of the app. I would prefer a stand-alone app. Buy it and it is on your device and not connected to any network. I also use the password generator for the generic passwords. I set the parameters and it creates a password that works.
