Nice but...It does crash when face recognition is active and if you change phone the data will not be transferred.Version: 6.2

Love the app, but one BIG regretIt’s been my main go to password manager for years. I have one regret though. There’s no option to export the data in an easily recognized standard format like PDF, XLS, TXT, DOC, CSV, etc. It would be easiest to do especially for those of us who don’t have any pictures and all we have our passwords and some notes. And the fear is what if I do an upgrade and the app stops working on my phone & I have no way to retrieve my data. With the ability to do a back up to one of the formats above at least I have my data in a readable format. But you don’t give us that option which is very disappointing..Version: 7.2.2

Lacks face recognitionI have had this app for years and very pleased with it. I upgraded to new IPad Pro with face recognition instead of fingerprint security. At first it would not work until fingerprint turned off and now I have to use the password.Version: 7.0.3

Totally unacceptableHave used the previous version of this app for years and find it totally unacceptable that I update both my iPhone and iPad to iOS 14.5 and can no longer use the app or even get to all of the passwords that I had stored. I can understand that a developer may take a little time to resolve the situation but this developer has had plenty of time and appears not interested. Just be aware that if you use this app you may wake up one morning and have no means of accessing all of your passwords..Version: 7.0.6

NOT COMPATIBLE WITH IOS 14.5!!!!!!I’ve had my ipassword 5 years and have all my passwords stored in there. With the recent update I am no longer able to access any of my information. The message that pops up is the software app developer needs to update. Nothing to do with Apple - Ipassword itself needs to update their app to be able to accept this update from Apple. I purchased this new version of Ipassword hoping the data would simply transfer over but …not the case. Unable to contact the developer and wishing they had at least warned us of this so I could’ve retrieved my passwords before I was locked out. This makes me not want to use them again. Would hate for this to happen again or to anyone else!.Version: 7.0.6

Buyer BewarePurchased this app based on the features listed in the description only to find out they’re not in the app. The Support guide lacks quality expected and the Email Us option is not working in the app..Version: 7.0.5

Restore BACKUP doesn’t work!I’ve had your app for years! I recently purchased an iPhone X, and before doing so, I backed up my info from my iPhone 7 to my iCloud so everything will transfer to my new iPhone X. And it did. BUT, I decided to take the iPhone X back to preorder the newer iPhone tomorrow. So I backed up everything on my iCloud with the new iPhone, so when I’d attempt to retrieve my passwords again but this time back on my old iPhone, they would be there. However, to my dismay, they’re not showing up. I don’t know what’s happened. I backed everything up on my iCloud, placed my files in my Dropbox app, but nothing’s worked. I figured everything would sync back on my old phone like it synced when I switched to the new iPhone I just purchased but it didn’t. I then thought I could just go back in iTunes, find you all’s app & retrieve it from iTunes but that wasn’t the case. The only option available was getting the app all over again brand new or purchasing the Pro for 4.99. I went ahead & got both, but I still could not restore any of my prior passwords through either app I just downloaded. This is very unfortunate because we’re talking about years of passwords that I still use & desperately need that were on the app; yet, I can’t retrieve any of them. I’m thoroughly disappointed....Version: 5.3

Wrong information. Missing informationThis app does not have the features that is in the pictures and description. Missing features..Version: 7.0.3

Disappointed for new XR iPhoneGreat for older iPhone but big disappointed for upgrade to new XR iPhone, every one open then can’t open the next time, had to delete then reinstall every one open, very frustrating! Please fix up urgent otherwise your business will collapse.Version: 6.0

Poor app with iOS 12I have been using the free version for a couple of years. I recently had to upgrade my phone as it was dying and I got a new iPhone X. With the iOS 12.0 and above, the standard free up and even upgraded pro version which is available for a cost, will not work. You can download it you can open up the first time but is soon as you add anything into it, close out of it, and then try to go back in, it will not let you in. Blacks out and goes back to home screen. Both versions do this. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, I've tried transferring my previous data from iCloud, iTunes, and Wi-Fi. All with the same results it will not work! Very disappointed especially as I've already paid for the pro version..Version: 5.3

Zero Stars !! Great App......., yet so disappointing. I’ve been using it for years on a 5S and 7. Now that my 7 had a thermal runaway, I bought the XR and to my great satisfaction, the App was restored via iTunes. Next day, I wanted to take screen shots of all the passwords on my old phone (just to be on the safe side), when my 7 didn’t even turn on anymore (thanks Apple!!). By then it was to my great enjoyment ,that this App doesn’t work on the XR. Once you open it, it closes instantly. Years of info - gone! I really liked the App. Layout, icons etc. worked for me. My only hope at this point is that I’ll manage to contact the developer (good luck!) and solve this mess. Typos in this text are due to long lasting yet subtle rage, caused by all this..Version: 5.3

App crashes upon opening with XR upgradeI bought this app years ago and overall have been happy with it. I had an iPhone 5 and upgraded to the 6+ without issue. However, I upgraded to the XR on Friday and now every time I try to open the app it immediately crashes. When I uninstall it, reinstall it, create a new password, and restore my iCloud backup, I can access my passwords as long as I don’t back out of the app. As soon as I do, however, the app immediately crashes when I try to access it again. I don’t understand what’s happening but I’m very frustrated because I’ve relied on it greatly. I took 90+ screenshots before wiping my 6+ “just in case”, and I’m grateful I did. Very unhappy that I will have to manually enter hundreds of passwords in a new premium app, though. What happened?!.Version: 5.9

DO NOT TRUST THIS APP!This app used to work great. I have all my passwords saved on here and the past several months, it hasn’t worked. Basically, every time I try to open the app, it immediately closes. I’ve tried soft resets and hard resets on my phone. The only time it works is for the first hour after deleting the app and redownloading it! I was in the long and agonizing process of writing down all my log ins to just get rid of the app all together when I lost EVERYTHING! Basically, while I was doing my whole deleting and redownloading the app routine that I always do, instead of pressing restore passwords, I pressed back up, and it backed up the blank app and I lost EVERYTHING! Boom, gone! No longer can retrieve. It’s been the biggest headache trying to figure out everything. Yes, that was my fault for pressing the wrong button but it is seriously an easy mistake when every single time you use this app, you have to start over fresh and restore your backup. Save your money, save your stress and don’t buy or use this app!!!!.Version: 5.3

Crashes on launch.I had the free version and backed up to Dropbox. When I upgraded my phone I tried to restore my backup. After a few attempts it did restore but now every time I launch the app it crashes. It’s not worth the money asked for the app. Lost all of my passwords and now paid for a app that crashes as soon as you try and launch it. Not happy..Version: 5.3

IPassword is a scam app. Developer does not support app. This developer is running a scam. They have several builds and copies of this iPassword app that they don’t properly maintain which they also charge $ for. Look at my review and don’t let what happened to me also happen to you. Apple should remove this developer from the App Store. I relied on them and they have failed me. Most of the reviews are inflated copies from a much smaller user base than the quantity of ratings lead you to believe. I purchased this application as iPassword more than 2 years ago. Out of the blue, the app began the prompt me to leave a 5 star review every time I open it. After upgrading my phone to iOS 11.4 and restoring it (iPhone X) the previous app copy of iPassword or version stopped working so I attempted to recover my iCloud backup and the app said it didn’t exist even though I have always enabled restore from iCloud. The app apparently was not creating backups for iCloud to store. So now ALL my passwords and data are lost! I sent several emails to the developer to help me. No responses to my inquiries Imagine saving ALL of your passwords in this app and then it’s all gone with no support from Apple or the developer they allowed to sell this app on its App Store..Version: 5.3

Please Fix this AppLike so many others here I have been using this app for a while and it’s really good, but after I updated to the new IPhone it stopped working. You have our money, so please fix it..Version: 6.0

IOS 12.1 Face ID crashI used this app for many years and have several hundred passwords stored in it and I really enjoyed using the app over the years and it always worked well up to the iPhone 7... recently I went to the Xs Max and the app would open the first time but as soon as I closed the app and tried to reopen it would crash and the only way to open it was to delete the app, reinstall and restore my iCloud backup... after doing this several times I discovered that if Face ID is turned off the app will function and quit crashing! So now I at least have access to my passwords but this Face ID bug needs to be fixed and the sooner the better! Until then... don’t bother to purchase this app! (I have the premium version btw).Version: 5.3

Does what is needed, but closes without warningThe search has never worked. The app closes when you try to use the search function. I recently upgraded to an XR and the app would not open after restoring. I deleted the app, restored the backup file from iTunes, and was able to use the app until I closed it again, then it would not open again. Rinse, repeat, and same problem. Then, I wondered if it was because the Touch ID was on. So while I was in the app after restoring from backup this time, I turned Touch ID off. When I closed the app this time, then reopened, it went to the Dot Lock and I was able to finally get in consistently. I hope this helps others, but this app needs serious attention to get more stars..Version: 6.0

Makes My Digital Life That More ConvenientI have an encrypted document with all usernames and password on my PC, but for being out and about, this app makes my life so much easier that I can have my major usernames and password with me in the go. Gone are the days are logging on to a website from another computer or on my phone and not remembering my password quite right. Only thing I would add is having Face ID activated to open the app. :-D. Other than that, very happy with Password Manager. ****UPDATE*****. Literally just after I wrote this review I noticed there is an option for Face ID. I turned that on, and as soon as I backed out of settings the app closed. I open the app, it pops up for a split second and goes back to my home screen. Try again, same thing. The app doesn’t actually close, because when I go to force close my apps, I can see Password Manager there, but only the background of the app. I had the remove the app, and now lost all my data which means I have to go back and manually add them all in again. For giggles, I downloaded the app again and same thing happens as soon as I turn on Face ID. This is obviously a major bug that needs to be worked out..Version: 5.3

Wayne KerrYou have to give 5 star rating get rid of the pop up requests all the time even on the pro version.Version: 6.0

Search crashes the appUsing search often crashes the app. Also it’s inconvenient that you can’t really use like a “true” password manager (integrated into password fields on websites/apps).Version: 7.0.3

Utter failureI’ve been using this app for years. I finally had an instance where I needed to restore from backup and IT DOESNT WORK!! Beware, do not use this garbage app. I lost my phone, got a new one, linked to my Dropbox account, went to restore from backup, it even says “succeeded”… nothing. Everything is gone. This app is pure trash. The headaches I’m going through now are unforgivable. Never again..Version: 7.3.8

Good App but...Like the other reviewers I rely on this a lot. I had the same crash issues after upgrading to an iPad Pro 11inch. It would crash on startup after restoring my backup. I think I have it working now. As soon as you do the restore switch to settings and disable Touch ID. The new devices don’t have a fingerprint sensor, it’s Face ID they have. Just means you have to enter a password every time now instead of touch/Face ID. At least I can get to my passwords again! Perhaps the developer will update it to at least detect if the device has TouchID and automatically disable on a restore if it’s not supported?.Version: 6.0

It all fallen apartThis was a good app until recently, the developers appear to have gone out of business as they don’t respond to the current major issues with the app and new iOS updates requested by myself and what appears hundreds of other users. I would suggest you stay week away from using this app at the moment for fear of loosing all your passwords if the developers don’t resurface.Version: 7.0.6

The only problem is syncing with another device is very unintuitive and easy to clobber good dataI like it - for the small price it works a lot better than an adware password database - the only problem is syncing with another device is very unintuitive and easy to clobber good data; i have this app on my iphone and ipad but even connected to the icloud its hard to keep the two devices in agreement. I have restored one from the opposite backup (works) but if i then make independent changes to both devices, theres no facility to "merge" the two databases. For the time being I'm keeping them synced manually until a better option becomes clear.Version: 7.0.3

Work around for iPhone xs max using pro versionLike others the pro version crashes on startup using iPhone Xs Max. The way I fixed it was by going into settings and only having dot lock enabled. I was previously using an iPhone 8 and when I restored from backup the touch id was enabled and caused it to crash. By turning touch id off and turning on dot lock this seems to have cured the problem. Hope this helps others.Version: 5.9

No help!I have asked for years for these guys to respond to me for technical help. They don’t listen and never received a reply. I strongly do not recommend this app. If you have a password problem you are in trouble! Steer far away from this app!.Version: 6.6

Latest update DOES NOT fix iPhone X instant crashCrashes instantly every time, I don't think the developer has the knowledge to overcome this issue as it's been like this since the X was introduced. The Dot ID login work around didn't work for me, same instant crash. Now using eWallet which is fully functional on all Apple devices and allowed me to use my old SPB Wallet database from years ago, simple import. Don't buy if you have iPhone X and above. It does work fine on other iPhone versions and iPad mini..Version: 6.0

Problem with iPhone XS MaxI just received my new iPhone XS Max & discovered that the app will not open. I’ve been using this app for years on iPhone 6 & 7. Never had a problem. It’s fantastic. Can you please fix this problem urgently. It just keeps crashing & I can’t get to my passwords..Version: 5.9

What App?I bought this app because I hate in app purchases and it evidently works well for others. But I’ve never been able to use it as it will not open. I have tried deleting it from my phone but that did not work..Version: 6.0

Doing great till...The “iPassword Pro” was satisfying all my needs until I moved from the iPhone 6S to the iPhone XS Max. When I transferred all my data and uploaded the app’s data from iTunes, the app keeps on crashing. I could reinstall it and it would work for a bit, but then it’d crash all over again...Version: 5.3

Search still causes a crashFor a long time now whenever a search is tried, it causes the app to totally crash. This update has still not fixed that major bug..Version: 7.2.2

Good butI give 3 start, I use it and I bought two version, both version has a very stupid problem, it crashes down once I use search function. I try to email them, but never had reply..Version: 5.3

This was my life saverI love this app but it is unfortunate that all my passwords and personal details that I kept is in the old app which I can no longer open. They did not give make it possible for the old app to transfer over to their newly updated version and I am very disappointed that I have to try remember all the years of details I have saved on the old version. So for that reason I give it 2 stars if I didn’t have this dilemma it would be 5. They should make sure that old versions are transferable or at least allow people to have time to move their things over. I’m so disappointed in this headache I’m dealing with now..Version: 6.3

Earlier iPassword is not workingWhile I was updating my software to iOS 14.6. This application is not working anymore. Looked in App Store and this application is not listed there anymore..Version: 7.0.6

Does not work with new iPhone XTerrible app with absolutely no customer support. I’ve emailed them several times and they have never even bothered to respond. I have had this app for years with 71 difference saved passwords. This was all backed up prior to getting my new phone. When I restore the new iPhone with all of the back up information this was the only app that would not work. It just simply would not open. I’ve worked on it for hours trying to get it to work with no success. I even paid additional money to download the pro edition which I’ve already previously purchased with no success. I guess my only choice is to manually input all knew saved passwords into another more reputable password type of application. My advice is stay away from this company offers know support..Version: 5.3

CheapJ’ai acquis cette application il y a plusieurs années. Il n’est plus supporté. Il est impossible de rejoindre le concepteur et la fonction backup n’est plus opérationnelle..Version: 7.2.2

Love it LessOn iPhone X & XS it wouldn’t open. Just crashed. Deleted it and re loaded and restored numerous times but no success. Can’t contact developer. I don’t have Facebook and he doesn’t seem interested, anyway. It doesn’t seem to update through the App Store. However, discovered today that if you download it and restore back-up and then before you do anything else go into Settings and turn off FaceId it will stop crashing..Version: 6.0

The BLUE version of app doesn’t work at ALL NOW! Please fix this. Please!!I NEED help!! The original version of this app from over 8 years ago no longer works with the any iOS updates past 14.5. It’s a BLUE colored ipassword app. And that doesn’t allow any data type of backups to transfer to the pro version of the app. The passwords are not lost but I can’t open the app on my phone with the new iOS updates. Please fix this so I can get to my information. A lot of people who used that app are having the same issues. This is a great app other than this problem. I also have this pro version for different accounts and this is working still. PLEASE FIX THE BLUE VERSION OF THIS APP. THE EMAIL TO THE DEVELOPER DOES NOT WORK FOR SUPPORT, the email keeps bouncing back as undeliverable..Version: 7.0.6

Don't bother with Pro versionHaving just paid good money for the Pro version, I find it has no improvements or extra features over the free version and still has the same issues such as i)will back up with wifi but cannot restore with with wifi, ii) cannot export data in a common format such as csv. If developer cannot fix, he/she should refund the cost..Version: 7.4.3

Password Manager ProI used to really like this App, but after a while I get a nag screen asking me to provide a review. You cannot get rid of this nag screen, which will appear every time you open the App. Considering this is the paid for Pro version I am so unimpressed that I will be using another App in future, one that is not provided by this developer. Having experienced the same issue with other password Apps from this developer I would advise avoiding them. I like the film Groundhog Day, I just don’t need to experience it in real life 🤨.Version: 6.0

Crappy backupAverage password keeper with unreliable backup..Version: 6.6

App userFor those people that are purchasing a new iPhone with facial recognition........do not get this app. If you already have the free app and upgraded to pro, you cannot add any new passwords/accounts when you sync it to the new phone. I have turned off the Face ID in settings and so far it will still open. So I hope It will still work, at least I will have access the the passwords-already in the app. We will see what happens in 24 hours. Before reading the other reviews, I purchased the password pro on the iPhone X hoping this would fix the problem, it was only another 5 dollars after all. Manually re entered all of my passwords but did not turn off the Face ID. $&@“!!! The newly purchased app would not reopen and I had not saved anything to the iCloud as of yet. Fortunately the app is still on my iPhone 8 so I emailed all of my passwords to myself. Loved the app for years, now I don’t trust it. Will be looking for a new one. By the way, as other reviewers have stated, no response from the developer..Version: 5.9

App Support terribleHad app for 6+ years! For support from app link forced to join Facebook which NOT going to do! Other option is support thru app itself BUT email address no longer active! Pleased with app but NOT support.Version: 7.0.3

App not opening on new iPhoneIPassword Pro has been great for a long time until now. I backed up my iPhone 6 Plus, backed up the iPassword database to my PC. Then bought a new iPhone XS Max, restored from backup to new phone, iPassword Pro would not open (but is running in background). So I uninstalled it, re-installed it and restored data from backup. App worked fine after restore. Then I try to open app next morning and having same original issue where it won’t open but shows running in the background. Now I have to manually record all of my passwords from my old phone (~400) and find another app if they don’t fix this soon. I have seen others having this issue with some saying it has to do with face login..Version: 6.0

App crashed when turned Face ID on!I was using this app for more than 4 years and I was very reliable on this app for my passwords. But suddenly, once day it showed me notification to turn on the face detection. After that, app kept on crashing! Anyway, I recommend using some other app!.Version: 6.2

Mixed resultsThis is more about the old version, that is from this developer, but is not on the App Store. But can still be downloaded if it is in your purchases. IOS 14.5 breaks the app and this developer shows no sign of fixing it. His email does not work and he so far hasn’t replied to Facebook requests. Before it broke it was a good app. I’ve been using it for the last 7 years or so. I liked that it is local to the phone so passwords are always available. It is very versatile and flexible. Just wish I could use it again..Version: 7.0.3
