Constant Therapy: Brain Rehab for Positive User Reviews

Extremely well designedThis app is very well designed and very easy to use and get started with. I find the exercises very engaging and motivating!.Version: 6.0.3

Game changeSo helpful for my aunt, an incredible tool for her as she recovered from her stroke and she noted significantly improved attention and cognitive skills after using!.Version: 6.0.1

Worth itThis app is wonderful for anyone in recovery from any sort of cognitive setback. Customer service is very helpful as well..Version: 6.0.3

Great App as patient with head injuryI am TBI from fall with memory and some speech issues. This is great app to do between therapy sessions. I do have to hit voice to identify item to put in alpha order on alpha task as I can’t tell what app is going for- ie soda was cola, drink or pop to me. Bandana looked like scarf. Could be regional differences for what items are called but can easily make alpha mistake with misidentification then get frustrated trying to think of what it might be. Automatic Auditory there with picture helpful and would not change what you are trying to achieve?.Version: 4.9.4

Great for stroke recoveryI have been using Constant Therapy since last year. I have Atherosclerosis and have had 2 strokes. I just started using CBD Oil from American Shaman and I am starting to feel improvements. I feel more mental clarity for once when using this app. I highly recommend this app..Version: 4.9.4

A must-have for people with communication disordersThe fact that the app updates itself with new exercises regularly and adapts tasks based on progress really sets it apart from other brain training and speech/language apps!.Version: 6.0.1

Great helpThis challenges me every day. Easy to understand. Takes me about 40 minutes per lesson. Highly recommend.Version: 4.7

I Love the AppMy Mother had a stroke, this app is helping her relearn things. This app creates a program for you, and advances when your ready or takes you back a step if need be. Reports are great and Support was the BEST.Version: 3.1.2

Really goodHelped me loads after a stroke !.Version: 4.9.3

Great new contentThey keep adding new content so I don't get bored seeing the same things. I like the new stuff!.Version: 4.5

Wonderful AppAs a recent stroke victim, I had trouble speaking and trouble typing as well as short term memory problems. Constant Therapy has been a blessing. In the past 5 weeks it has brought me back to almost normal functioning. I can speak clearly. This is better than an in-person therapist. Just a short email or phone call and your tasks are customized to narrow in on the problem areas. I cannot sing the praises of ConstantTherapy enough. I have recommended it to all my doctors and therapists. It has brought me back from the brink of despair to a fully functional person. Thank you Constant Therapy for a truly revolutionary product!.Version: 4.4

Incredible for TBIThis app lets you test your brain deficits and practice those problem areas daily, strengthening the neuron pathways. Just what my disability counsellors were hoping for. Great metrics, challenging problems. US oriented though..Version: 2.7.3

Great daily workout for the mind!I had a stroke almost a year ago. Started out Attention therapy in late March or early April. One of my therapists introduced me to Constant Therapy and I took to it right away. Still using it to keep sharpening my awareness and memory. The developers keep upgrading current exercises and adding new ones. And they welcome feedback from users. Not only that, they listen to us! Not all the time, but often. Believe me, it’s well worth your time. Give it a try! User from PA.Version: 4.6.2

Really worksMy doctor recommended that I start using Constant Therapy as part of my treatment for post-concussion treatment. At the time, I was having serious memory problems and couldn't follow a recipe without getting overwhelmed. I struggled at first. I was having a really hard time with the verbal tasks component of the training and was ready to throw in the towel. My doctor encouraged me to keep going, and I'm so glad that I did. I eventually broke through that barrier and I have noticed a huge difference in my ability to hang onto information. This has been a godsend for me..Version: 3.1.1

Cannot cancel subscriptionBeware! They make it very difficult to stop the free trial from going to paid subscription. Plus now I’m trying to send this review it is blocking me! I had to give a high star rating before it would allow my review! Dodgy!.Version: 5.0.4

Wonderful appThis has been so incredibly helpful! It’s also interesting and sometimes fun. The only reason that I did not give it five stars is because if I don’t see my speech therapist who can adjust the levels, it doesn’t always pick up on my feedback (like when I say too hard or too easy). But the people who work there are awesome and I Have to admit that I didn’t try to talk to them about this problem yet. In any case, I highly recommend this app to anyone suffering from any cognitive deficits!.Version: 4.4

Great Exercise for the brain!I love this app. It was brought to my attention because I was recovering from a TBI (traumatic brain injury). I’ve recently not been able to do it daily and missed a few days, consecutively. It’s amazing how much this app helps me. I’ve noticed a drop in my performance after only a few days. This app makes me use my brain. It’s exercise for the brain..Version: 5.0.9

Worth the money!!This app is phenomenal. My brother has pretty severe aphasia as a result of a TBI and has made tremendous progress with Constant Therapy. He normally gets really frustrated and demoralized doing any sort of therapy, but because this app tailors the therapy to your needs, he actually looks forward to doing his exercises every day. Worth every penny, and though the cost might seem high, compare it to what you'd be paying for an in-person therapy session and you'll see that it's actually a steal for what you're getting. Couldn't recommend highly enough. Five stars!.Version: 6.0.1

CTI believe this program is working for me!.Version: 4.8

Versatile and relevant! As an OT, I have been using and recommending this program for many years in a variety of settings. It’s versatile and meets the needs of clients across the spectrum. Very intuitive dashboard for clinicians too. Helps me write my progress notes with detailed data!.Version: 6.5.2

Outpatient and post dischargrgeThis app fit my needs perfectly during outpatient SLP and OT since it untethered me from having to do all of my therapy at my therapist’s office while maintaining her engagement in the therapeutic process. As I am still not able to drive, it lightened the burden on my wife and allowed us to return more rapidly to “normal” life post stroke (travel, vacations, etc.) while staying involved in an ongoing brain healing regime. Post discharge I have continued with the program using a privately retained “therapy and tech Personal Trainer”, a recent therapy school grad with significant tech skills and CT experience who could adjust and customize the mix of CT exercises and give me feedback on progress. She has also helped me to overcome barriers to executive functioning by assisting with my mastery of iCal and Evernotes to build tech and organizational skills that I never dreamed of pre-stroke. While I continue to have some residual deficits and weaknesses, I am optimistic about the opportunities for major continuing progress.I Cannot say enough about the benefits of CT AND have recommended it so often that I joke that I should go on Commission. However, knowing that I may have helped someone as I have been helped is all the recompense I need. Thanks to all those who designed and built this phenomenal application!.Version: 4.3

Perfect for your loved onesThis app is great!! My grandmother is able to understand things faster and is more confident in her abilities— I can’t recommend Constant Therapy enough!.Version: 6.0.4

Best app for aphasiaMy husband, a stroke survivor, has used this app daily for many years and it has been extremely beneficial to his speech rehab. New tasks are added all the time and progress is monitored for improvement suggestions. Customer service is exceptional! Strongly recommend!!.Version: 6.0.4

MrThis app is essential in the rehab program for my father who survived a near fatal stroke. Without this app he would not be making a quick recovery. I can fully recommend this app to anybody who has a family member or friend suffer from a stroke 10/10.Version: 2.2

Helps me in many ways!I have aphasia. This is the best App I have found. Reasonable priced too. So many options! Many ways to practice. In the advanced mode, I can pick the exercises that are most important for me..Version: 4.2.1

The BEST Cognitive and Speech Language AppI cannot say enough good things about this app. I work in a skilled nursing facility. Both my patients and I love it. I have been a speech therapist for 31 years and have accumulated quite a collection of workbooks. However, since I am using Constant Therapy, I will not be using those workbooks very much. I love the variety of exercises and how it provides a summary of the patient’s performance. This makes report writing and data collection a breeze. My patients want to do their “homework”. The staff at Constant Therapy are so helpful whenever I have questions. They even have an inservice to help the therapist learn about all the features of the program. If you want a quality comprehensive tool to improve your patients’ communication and cognition, you have to check this out!!!!! Thank you Constant therapy developers and support staff for all you do😊.Version: 4.4

CTIt in a great and excellent application which gives mental abilities.Version: 4.2.0

Needs increase in difficulty.Very fundamental. No significant increase in difficulty. It appears created for patients with severe functional brain damage. Good graphics, instruction and variety of programs..Version: 4.9.4

ImprovementAs I recover from a traumatic brain injury, doing well on these tests builds my confidence that I will be able successfully to transition back to my normal life..Version: 5.0

YESMy cognitive therapist HIGHLY recommended Constant Therapy 5 months ago. My problem is a severe inattention span. I am diagnosed with NVLD. I often forget what I’m saying mid-sentence. I thought it was my memory, my test results say my memory is fine. (I’m 67 years old). He said he had been/is using this successfully with some of his patients. I was at first skeptical of the value of what seemed like costly ”games” in an iPhone app. Of course, at the beginning, I wasn't getting a lot of exercises ”right” (or it was taking me a LONG TIME to perform them). This was proof that I was in decline. Right? I was disappointed in myself. I started out very discouraged & downtrodden. However, it encouraged me when my therapist explained that it’s not just about whether I get the answers or responses right or wrong, or quickly or slowly, but it’s more of the process of actually just doing it & not judging myself so harshly. Not the answers or ”successes”, but the process of doing consistently. When that sunk in, I realized that as with any exercise plan at the gym (you know the one you’ve been paying $30 a month for 20 years, but only go 5 times a year?), you’re probably not going to to see visible results for weeks, maybe even months - like everybody else. This explains why people start doing treadmill 4 times a week, but then abruptly STOP 10 days into it when they don’t see any instant changes. But if you stick with it, 2 or 3 months later, you notice that your waist is 1 inch smaller, you have a (more) visible bicep muscle that you hadn’t seen before, you feel better, you sleep better, and you’ve lost 7 pounds to boot. (This too has happened to me. I lost 30 lbs, as well as my Diabetes diagnosis.) This has been my personal experience with Constant Therapy. At a gym, you see your results in the mirror. But with this, you see your progress in the numbers, the reports, & the progress graphs. There it is. My therapist wanted me to do it 4 times a week. I have been putting it in my calendar ALMOST every day, and every time I see my therapist, we talk about it & review my numbers together. In 5 months, I have gone from scores like 30 & 40% up to 75 & 80% in a lot of them! Cross my heart. For one, I could never remember a full 10-digit phone number after I heard it. I felt stupid. It was a huge problem. Now it reports a score of about 80% on this particular one. Seriously. It actually works? I saw it on the screen with my own 2 eyes. This gives me confidence in my abilities & motivation to keep at it. I FEEL SMARTER AGAIN. Not only did the numbers show improvements, but I AM also NOW GETTING A LOT OF THE MATERIALS ”RIGHT” FOR THE FIRST TIME IN A LONG TIME! I more often remember phone numbers & lists. For me, this has made a big difference in my life (a simple app can do this?) Of course it goes without saying, as with any process recommendation, ”your mileage may vary.” But I’m not exaggerating when I say that I am personally thrilled. If you have one, also discuss this with your therapist. If you don’t have one, ask your insurance company to approve one or more consultation visits to see a cognitive therapist (or other professionals) to check in with them about trying this. Persistence with any new therapy is key. Process, not just the answers. But don’t necessarily expect ”cure.” Expect measurably better. And as Martha Stewart is known to say, ”and that’s a good thing.” This is a good thing. 😉.Version: 4.9.4

LQuite a handy app. I love that I can set up individual task schedules for my clients. This app has a huge potential for so many more therapy tools, can't wait to see what's coming up..Version: 1.1

Good for resultsIt’s a good program to work and give results to a speech therapist, because I can do it when I’m not in session with them. The drawback is that there’s a lack of a variety of tests. I do many of the tests over again..Version: 4.9.4

DeeThis is really good, I had a haemorrhage and stroke I was 29 years old I am now 35 years (I know) This helped me loads 👌🏼, I do this all the time.. because when I had a stroke I have to start all over again, (like a little kid) alphabets, coloured, words, reading talking & walking.. if you’re having this problem then you need to do this, it might help you because it help me 😊.Version: 4.0.3

Love it!!!This program has made a huge difference in my mind recovery from a stroke. It’s amazing!!!.Version: 6.0.1

Love Constant Therapy!!I was diagnosed with Aphasia recently... My speech therapist with (Janella) told me about Constant Therapy & I love the games that were directed to me...As they say: I'm not giving up!! Thank you!.Version: 4.6.2

ReviewI am a recent survivor of a stroke (left brain). I am thankful for this APP for helping me back on my feet again, plus for my therapist who are with working with me. It is great that they let you try this APP for 30 days to see if works with you..Version: 3.1.2

Smart phone compatible now, yay!I had a traumatic brain injury and stroke 5 years ago. When I first entered outpatient speech therapy, Constant Therapy was recommended for me. At the time it was only iPad compatible and not smart phone compatible. A change in life events(I am attending graduate school now)found me back in speech therapy. I was pleased to see that the app is now smart phone compatible and I can do it while waiting for appointments or other down time. I think that my assigned tasks are well targeted to the cognitive areas in which I am weak. Being further out I am able to see the benefits and my provider is able to monitor my progress and help focus and target my assigned tasks. Very pleased..Version: 4.6.2

KeithHi, I have found it very helpful since having a stroke. I have it always a good fun. I sometimes found it difficult understanding the word as it is spokes in as they are used in an American accent. Oh ever I am getting used to it. Well done everyone Kind regards Keith.Version: 3.1

Best stroke therapy everThis programs is the best. I had a stroke at 42. I will be back to work in no time with this. The speech therapy couldn’t even keep up with all the great programs. This is a major blessing..Version: 4.0.1

It helpsIt really helps me but I don't like the map reading report.Version: 3.2.1

Helped my concussion rehabThis is a very well thought out and well executed app. You can tell that people who understand brains are behind this. I suffered a concussion 2years ago and started using it on the advice of my doctor. I am pretty well recovered now but still use the app a few times a week to keep my brain sharp. I don’t think it’s sufficient therapy on its own but it is a fantastic adjunct to other treatment..Version: 4.4

Not sure what elseYou can throw out those dusty workbooks from 1972 and just use this. Perfect..Version: 5.0.5

Tremendous HelpI began using CT therapy as part of my at home therapy after having a stroke. Some of the activities were very frustrating at first. Fortunately I was able to download my self and was able to continue therapy. I still experience the frustration but the more I use the app the more comfortable I have become. Great app!.Version: 4.5

Great TherapyI have been doing this on and off for a few years and have noticed improvement. It is great..Version: 4.9.1
