✓ The WorkerI cannot believe what I have read in reviews. I have 4 castles, all at the top level 70, and since I live outside the U.S. now, I cannot make any purchases from the game. Even challenged my self by not going into the 3 other Kingdoms. And I still made it to the top level! You do not have to spend money to play. There are plenty of offers to buy, but you do not have to! I do have to delete the game each time there is an update. Problem, Apple App Store. Sometimes does not show the up date but delete, then reload from cloud. Everything works..Version: 2.2.55
✓ GreatThis is not just a fun but also very realistic and immersive game, but I would like to see a few changes to the game, like making it possibly 3D so you may be able to look around, or make visuals battles so we can see our troops in battle. But most of all, PLEASE bring back the ORIGINAL sound track. And if people are telling you that you need money to play this, they are just salty. You just need a caring alliance. Second said I had to loose all my troops in battle over an op he helped to steal. Third was extremely self absorbed with dictating terms on everything that was done. You can play without any investment, but rightly you will never be able to reach the higher levels - I say rightly as it's the people who pay that fund the company that develops the game, they don't/can't do all that for free! So get started, you can easily get to level 10 without any investment, and if u think it's worth it then invest small amounts and see if you enjoy the benefits. ✓ Great Game!This is a great game to play. You make friends and all, no info tho about you. One suggestion: In the game, you can only build one thing at a time. What if you could buy slots, so if you buy two, you could build three different things at once. Or, how about buy slots another way: when training soldiers, there are 3 slots, and you can unlock more. If, let’s say, you need a mace man and bow man. You could put mm in first slot, and bm in second. Mm would train first and when done, bm would train. I think that would be nice to have with construction. You are about to be done for the day, but instead of building one thing, you could build three. Ok, if you don’t know the game, that was probably confusing. The mobile version is also very good, and may just be my favourite mobile game. It is fair, fun and you can’t put it down even though 80% of it is waiting. People who have said that ruby tools are necessary to progress haven’t played the game past the tutorial. If you save up your resources then you can mass produce tools to an equal level of that of ruby tools. Joining an alliance may be the most profitable thing one can do as joining an alliance that has active, experienced players will be able to help you. Alliance rewards in competitions may allow you to obtain high level items early on! However I do wish to state that rubies are overpriced and ruby tools, items and buildings should be much cheaper. If your a focused player who puts a lot of effort into this game you will progress faster and get to do the events (LV 30+) but there is a hole you can fall into. Unlike other games where you attack other players to gain recourses (some might know that game) attack other players in this game can result in your games utter destruction, for example you attack a players castle and you win your target will notify its alliance (the well experience alliances are very protective) and they will destroy you leaving your castle in literal ruins and there can be no possible way to recover so in that result if your attacked notify your alliance and they will teach the player a lesson. If your the type of player who is lazy and thinks they don’t need to put much effort into it thinking they’ll do fine, they won’t earn anything and won’t progress. In concert to this, play this game if you want to play a game knowing that you will have fun if your willing to play fair and enjoy the game peacefully like everyone else. You should also be able to send other players coins as a member of my alliance (who won’t be the only one) has stopped playing the game because he lost all his coins from bad defence and then couldn’t get troops(as to recruit it costs coins) to get coins back. Also you shouldn’t lose glory points every day as I’m In a low level alliance and it’s really hard to level up the alliance. On the subject of alliances you should be able to make more nonaggression agreements and pacts as you can declare war on as many alliances as you want. Also auto declare war is a disaster as you can’t attack anyone unless they aren’t in an alliance unless you want a war with that alliance. This also results in players who aren’t in alliances to be targets so the game needs to get rid of auto declare war or at least force the joining of an alliance. My final complaint is that me and my sister tried to play with each other and were put in different worlds however I see why. Overall though I would recommend this game and think it’s pretty good I only listed the downsides there but would be most pleased if my complaints could be listened to and fixed as far as possible.Version: 2.24.31

A real tactical strategy game from in castle and resource building level ups to troop training to hero and Castilian gear improvements. Unlike GOW, Empire has its very own PVP server rules, set by alliances within the game. Which is great, as it governs in gameplay and prevents any bullying. This makes gameplay fun for newbies as they will be able to attack players at their level and not worry about being attacked by players over 10 times their level. This is one of those very few games you find that has great developers that always fix issues and will even give you gifts if it’s a big screw up. This game is not pay to win at all so if you want to be the best all you have to do is put time and effort into it. Some are good people as in real life, while some people are very nasty, as in real life. You get excellent alliances and you get bully boy alliances which reflect countries like North Korea. ✓ Need some rebalancingGreat game and a lot of fun to play, especially when your in an active alliance but since the way rubies work money buyers rule the game, there are a lot of ways of course to earn rubies but it takes hours to accumulate the same amount someone who could buy them can. Another disappointment this game has brought is the inability to own centres of power as a small alliance, you will get blitzkrieged if you even attempt such a thing and the top alliance will be greedy and keep them all for themselves. In my opinion rubie buildings are too expensive and need to be brought down a bit so people who can’t spend a lot of money at least have a chance. Bit off topic but why do monuments reset every 30 days? It’s annoying that you might spend ages levying it up just for it to reset... especially when your a small alliance you need to be able to have at least one high level monument so you feel like you have a win! Overall this is a fabulous game and I would recommended it to anyone, it’s easy and fair at the start but as you develop up you can be a target and I personally feel there needs to be some serious rebalance and easier and more efficient ways to earn rubies in the game for us non-buyers.Version: 2.25.15

One of my favourite features of this game is how you can travel to different Kingdoms and unlock different resources and warriors ect. My only complaint about this game is that it's a major Pay to Win. If you could make this game a little less of a Pay to Win, I would love this game even more. ✓ Very Fun and not time or money consumingThis game is a lot of fun to grow in especially if you are lucky like me and find a good alliance that chats and has fun together, though it does offer very useful in app purchases, this game is in now way pay to play or pay to win, everything is obtainable and nothing is too hard to obtain to the point that you almost have to buy it, you can just sit back and build your castle in your free time rather than constantly have to worry about missing a key event or an attack or raid, all the events in the game last for several days allowing every one no matter their schedule the chance to participate and they all give very generous and very useful rewards, it is extremely easy to understand and grow in and I definitely recommend it.Version: 2.6.1

✓ Good gameI started playing this game again about a month ago and it’s just a great game overall. You never get bored cus there’s just so much to do. If you miss a event it’s not the end of the world and they have events every few days. Also, people in this game actually talk a lot and are nice (way too many games have teams or clans where nobody talks and it’s just super boring). A lot of people are saying it’s pay to win, but you can still compete with people who spend a lot (I’m in the top 10 for my server, I’m a level 24 and I haven’t spent anything) and you get rubies from a lot of in-game events. Doesn’t really get boring, people to talk to, events every couple of days, mini-games/chance games like the wheel of fortune and the fortune teller, pve and pvp, and just so many different games to play..Version: 4.57.31
