(Most crucial) “SCAMMERS!”: Kids, don’t hate because you were dumb enough to get scammed, no matter if it was 1 dirt, 1wl, or 1 angel wing. 4. “It won’t let me play!”: Again, I admit, it might be gt’s fault, but it could also be, you’re using a second hand device where someone got themselves banned for that device. ✓ HackersI really enjoyed playing this game as there were so many things to explore. However, when I first got hacked, I felt devastated but I knew I couldn’t just give up. There were so many things that I wanted to experience. So, I created a new account. This time, I was able to get a bit further. I felt thrilled I was able to experience Growtopia but with more excitement and adventure until I got hacked again. My point is that I would like to see an upgrade for Growtopia’s security. Like Roblox, think an email feature is essential. So that way, when there’s a hacker trying to log into my account, they’d have to know my email and the password to my email before they can get into my account. I honestly think this needed feature would help many Growtopians from suffering the way I did. Please don’t get me wrong, I still like Growtopia but before I can say that I actually enjoy it for what it has offer, I would like to see an upgraded security. ✓ ITS ADDICTIVE!I absolutely love this game. I have been playing for over 5 years. This game will make you come back to it if you quit. It has a thing about it that no body can explain but it’s very addictive. I love this kind of addiction since it isn’t as harmful as other addictions. However, the only think that I don’t like is when you get hacked. I have ever shared my information to anybody. But I still got hacked over 50dls worth of items and 26 pure dls. I don’t understand why the game can’t look into your account and see if you actually got hacked to give back the stuff that you lost. ✓ RollbackWell i don’t know much about rollback but all i know is that it resets players inventory’s and a specific time when the glitch or hack or issue happened, but the part that i don’t get is that why would they take away my gaia and tesseract of manipulators? i have worked hard to get those, countless days playing to get those, also have it in mind that i bought these items like what, 2 months ago? I know that i can contact growtopia but they must be getting a lot of complains already so i guess this is the best way to do so, i really hope i get my items back and also good luck to those who lost many countless items. ✓ It’s been a good 6 years so far and still going!Hey guys :) as most of you know Ubisoft has bought this game about 2 years ago but I’m happy to say that this game has changed my life in many ways. I start the game when I was just 10 and now I am going to be 16 in 3 months! This game is so amazing because you get to meet people all over the world and get to create friendships that never end! Yes maybe once or twice your even many times you may get scammed but from a person who has learned form his mistakes the game is just common sense 😂listen to your gut and you’ll start a journey that will keep you playing for years to come trust me. ✓ Uhm...So when that maintenance thing happened yesterday I was a bit shocked to find out that an item I sold was back in my inventory, my world locks gone, and my hair dyed blue not red. I have no clue what’s happened here but that’s really annoying because now I have to waste ages to sell my item again which is so hard to sell. ✓ EhhI used to love this game a year ago because I started and played, but as I played, I went into a world and owner pulled me into 2 pinballs and I was banned for 80 days or something. When it’s over, I attempt to play, but it’s permanently banned. I made new accounts, but the other one was my favorite and it’s banned. I emailed the support people and they said I need an email, but I don’t remember my email because it was one of those emails when u don’t have an email and u just make one up, and I couldn’t get it back. If you first start this game, without a mentor, you would be very confused. Good thing the mods have made a certain kind of work for people who are dedicated to help new people called mentoring (people who have been playing for quite some time [mentors] and the people who are new [apprentices] mentors can get prizes by helping. So people, help!!). They are easily found in the world START. Make sure to approach them for better understanding of the game! ✓ READ THISI started this game in 2013 and still playing it. When I first started I got scammed a few times but I eventually learned from my mistakes. I learnt to take the good with the bad and so I eventually grinder for my riches, made a fortune and now I have enough to participate in many fun events. What i love most about this game though is that it taught me a crucial skill, how to manage my money, a skill that I’m sure I will need in the GUI tire. I learnt to buy the items I want, participate in events W my friends and keep a source of income (farmables). I’ve played many games in my days but growtopia is the one consistent game I’ve played throughout my time as a gamer. The currency in Growtopia is world locks and everything has a price, it’s easy to understand the demand of items and your leverage when you can buy items with gems and sell for a profit in world locks. The main issue with this game is boring updates and the difficulty of actually getting your first world lock (tradable). ✓ Stupid modsSo, I played Growtopia for like years now and I loved the game and everything about it, soon when I quit I heard Ubisoft bought the game and so I wanted to come back to the game. I play for like a 4 months and it was great and all, into when I let someone auto and a mod came in. Allowing someone to auto is illegal and so I got banned. I know it was a bad idea but the thing is, I got banned for 730 days like that’s a Cruel ban for something minor. ✓ GrowtopiaOverall I have been playing this game for 4 years and it is one really addictive fun game to play once you understand what to do. And you get to collect items which make you look cool and show how long you have played. Unfortunately a lot of the community for this game is full of scammers which will try to take your items which could also mean stealing by doing tricks which can’t be reversed thus losing all of your stuff you worked hard for making you restart. ✓ A constantly changing gameI have played Growtopia for a little over 8 years I believe now. There are a lot of ups and downs to this game. The game itself is fun if your looking to hang out with people you meet or create worlds to just have an overall good time. There is a ton of fun stuff to do in this game such as fishing, surgery, startopian adventures, parkour, crime fighting, building your own worlds, and even profiting/creating items and wearables. There are a few downsides to this game, such as: scammers, hackers, bots, and overloaded servers (normally during the nighttime). But once you learn for yourself and get past the bad parts of the game it becomes a lot of fun. Personally what I love the most is getting my hands on new and fun items when they come out usually every few weeks. This game isn’t pay to win which is super nice. ✓ Bad customer supportI have played growtopia since 2013 and I really like it but the mods and developers do not seem to really care about their players. I entered the world "TROLLFACEBAN" where players were on the white door punching and dropping items on the right side of the white door. I went to pick up the items and the players punched me over a checkpoint and into an empty space with a mushroom below it and a lava cube above it. It caused me to die then when I re spawned I was auto-banned by the system for 60 days. On the growtopia support site I appealed for the unjust ban to be removed and reported the world but nothing was ever done and they have not replied to me for weeks. Even if they have a lot of issues to take care of reading the reports made by players should be one of them. if not, then I will quit playing this game even after the ban is removed. (Update: I have received a response from the developers and had the faulty ban has been removed. Thanks to them, and 5 star rating restored.).Version: 2.84

New players aren’t really understanding the game, but of course there are tutorials, but it is hard sometimes. As the years went by, more and more of my friends quit. Of course, Growtopia was still fun. If you’re new and you’re considering trying this game out, I definitely recommend it. In my case, I cannot download Pixel Worlds but Growtopia is not horrible and Growtopia was the inspiration for Pixel Worlds. I only rated Growtopia 4 stars becuse the actually community is mostly made up of toxic people, scammers, or hackers. Scammers really make an impact on the hame becuase they will trick you into “dropping” your items, then they will steal them. Hackers will speed hack to let them run really fast, or necome invincible. This doesn’t sound bad at first, but then people do “giveaways” where they giveaway some of their “world locks” or currency. The hacker will then speed and health hack to give him/herself a very high chance or winning the giveaway. Toxic players are just mean and rude. ✓ Fun game but has some problemsIt’s a super interesting game! I just want to mention that the items are amazing and super detailed. Over the years, it had updated so much and sometimes I find myself shock at the items the mod have added. Moreover, I’ve been playing this game since FOREVER and I think it keeps getting better. I’ve definitely have some amazing time with this game. HOWEVER, some players are super rude! Mostly just really young kids saying racist things and cussing at each other! I personally think the mod should ban them too...because these players might actually affect someone personally or is being affected personally..Version: 3.35
✓ A great gameI’ve been playing Growtopia for years and it’s a great game but there’s only a couple down sides is that if u don’t have world locks and diamond locks it’s hard to get around and build ur kingdoms and world etc..Version: 4.03
✓ A few thing to improveI think that the game is very fun to play but making the servers better could be the first thing to fix. Every time I play the servers get very laggy. Miss if your seeing this please make the game less laggy lots of people love it. Thank you.Version: 3.43
✓ Fun once you get used to itGrowtopia is definitely a game I love to play. The creators are always adding new updates and items which is awesome. I’ve made many friends from around the world through this game, it’s really a great community if you avoid dumb things like drop games and other obvious scamming events. My number one advice is to just be careful!! When trading, always take a few seconds to check the trade confirmation. Always avoid drop games no matter what. Don’t do anything suspicious. It’s that simple. And if you wanna be rich, don’t ask for donations. It’s ok to want to be rich but don’t bug other players. FARM! I know it sounds sad but if you want a head start, you might have to pay some money, then buy farmables and start farming. But your hard work will pay off. You don’t need to be rich anyways, you can talk to other players and play mini games if that’s your style. Growtopia is a game that takes a while to get the hang of, there are so many rules and little things that you need to know to really get the experience (and plus those rules keep Growtopia safe), but it’s fun. If you get scammed, it’s your own problem, not the creators’. I’ve been scammed at least 100wls worth of items in all my years of playing but trust me, it’s not that big of a deal, you’ll earn it back if you actually try. ✓ It’s greatI started growtopia 2014. I feel like this game is really good and teaches you to be careful whilst having fun. I got scammed numerous times but that really lets you learn how not to do it again. Recently I stopped playing for a while, maybe like 2 months? Then I got into an accident (breaking a leg) that would affect me till July this year. Growtopia has been there for me and left me with something to do even when I couldn’t/can’t do much. It’s a relaxing game and I recommend it to anyone. It’s especially fun to play with your classmates. When I grow up a bit, and maybe move on from growtopia, I feel like growtopia will always been some part of me. Have a good day. Update 2 years later: I have grown away from gt. ✓ Review of growtopiaI absolutely love this game. I started playing it since the very beginning of it. I got scammed quite a few times because of my own stupidity when trying to make fun of drop game scammers but whatever, te game is fun. Only farming is kinda irritating but I love collecting gems. Trading with people and finding new stuff is awesome. Ty god I created 2 accounts (one of them te one I am playing on now which is around 3 and a half years old) because my first account got scammed. I wouldn’t call it a hack because it was my old classmate who saw my password and stole everything. But I managed to get back to the game and now I am not that rich but still having fun playing it. I really suggest trying this game but the only problem is- I got very addicted like 2 years ago and I used to play like 3-5 h a day. Now it’s a bit better but still I have to concentrate more on other stuff. But growtopia is a nice place to relax, chat with people from all around the world and have fun doing all other stuff eg challenges or parkour. So ye, the game is absolutely awesome, I love it and I wish it will never close down or will be shut down.Version: 2.989
✓ WowI’ve played this game since I was 13 so since 2014, and wow the amount this game has taught me and how much fun I’ve had, this game will always be by far my favourite game I have ever played because of how unique it is too other games, it will always be a huge part of me, I still play now, off and on, turning 20 this year, and I know at some point I will grow out of the game, but I will always remember it..Version: 3.77
✓ GoodI played this game for about 6 years. I was addicted. Theres nothing wrong with the game, but its the players you have to watch out for. The players are toxic, rude, and basically just stupid. So don’t trust anybody. Not even your friends..Version: 3.30.3
✓ Fun only if you have a purpose/goal to achieveI downloaded this game about 3 years ago. I saw my friends playing it and I was curious. Growtopia is an interesting sandbox game. You can dress your growtopian avatar up and try to look pro. Or you can also just farm and earn gems and world locks. World locks, diamond locks, etc are a nice form of currency in growtopia, but one thing that is especially annoying is spammers and scammers. Make sure to change your password once in a while to prevent hackers from stealing your stuff in your account. Don’t get tricked into entering your password into any websites claiming free world locks and whatnot. Growtopia used to constantly amaze me, because I didn’t play that much. But now that I am able to play, it is starting to get boring. When Ubisoft acquired the game, about a year ago, I was expecting change or at least some decent updates considering the fact how Ubisoft is a large company. However, once Seth and Hamumu sold it, there’s isn’t much fun anymore..Version: 2.982
