✓ Absolutely horrendousHow do you expect anyone to pass a game when you can't even beat a tank level???????? Those things are impossible to go against, especially when the AI just constantly spams those things while you don't have anything!!.Version: 1.4
✓ UnplayableI can’t make it past the 3rd level. Not even 10ft from the enemies command post and they spawn in like 5 infantry units and wipe my whole force. And if I happen to have more than 2 units on the field at once they use an infinite number of artillery barrages. Thought I’d give it a shot but it’s bad. Don’t waste your money. ✓ Not happyPerk points can be redeemed by hitting a button at the top of the screen. Button is conveniently located where fingers are used to move the screen side to side. Obviously well thought out so you have to buy more points that you accidentally waste moving the screen. Not happy about that as I've accidentally hit that button a lot. ✓ DisappointedAt first the game was great, then after the first 2 games of the campaign 2 things happened 1. The ai is crazy op and has tons of perks 2. I keep clicking on the redeem button because it is “coincidentally” placed where you move from one side of the other. At first I thought that was a design flaw, but after losing 5 perk points to that thing and seeing the reviews, I realize that it’s on purpose to make you lose perk points so you are convinced to buy some. They don’t even ask you if you want to, you accidentally press on it and you lose one. Do yourself a favor and leave this game alone..Version: 1.4

✓ Oh how the mighty have fallen.I reviewed this about a year ago, I was disappointed to say the least. Came back and........nothing's changed. I wondered for months why such a good game turned to utter garbage. Then I found out it was owned by EA and so many questions were answered immediately. ✓ Disappointing and horribly balancedAs stated in the title of this review, this game is horribly balanced and genuinely has little to no creativity when it comes to how the AI behaves or reacts. All there is when playing each “mission” is a constant bombardment of air strikes and artillery shelling one after another in a VERY short time frame. The fun part of that is that there is virtually nothing you can do to prevent or maintain your stacking of troops. Very disappointing and not very thought out. Shame..Version: 1.5.2
✓ Bad update.I played this a while back and have come back to the game. The first thing I realised was that instead of a smarter AI there is just one with infinite wealth. The artillery strikes are relentless and destroy everything to the point that it is impossible, even on the 2nd difficulty..Version: 1.4
✓ Fun at firstCampaign is all fun at first but even on easy mode the AI becomes OP even though I have max perks. AI is able to send more units and air attacks than the player and much quicker as well. Also units don’t always respond when telling them to move out of the way of an incoming air attack and maps are so long already that it makes you take entirely too long to beat for the game to be enjoyable..Version: 1.4

✓ GoodIt is a good game. Obviously there is a problem with the multiplayer mode as you cannot see the enemy and your base blows up randomly. This needs sorting ASAP. Also for all the ppl moaning about the enemy spawning I. Your trench, it is because they have a spy in your main base, whether this is supposed to happen I dunno, but it does. ✓ Perk point disappearThis company is SCAMMING people forcing them to buy perk points. I have read other people are having the same issue. Perk point disappear after you start the next skirmish making it impossible to get a tank or anything requiring more than something requiring one perk point unless you pay for perk points. They also have 3 variations of this game up in the App Store. I will be calling Apple about this scam and also pointing out they have the same app up 3 times..Version: 1.4

✓ Massive Potential!I love this game, however to get it to become one of the most popular on the App Store here are a few ideas I have, 1.) Allow the commander to brief his troops before battle, so that when they charge they have a target, maybe "stop at 2nd trench encountered" instead of running aimlessly forwards. 2.) Being able to dig my own trenches and the enemy doing so to, would give more strategical decision making, instead of just needing to upgrade existing trenches 3.) Give the enemy some brains! Let them attack in waves, instead of individual squads who are easy to destroy With these 3 changes I will happily give this game a 5 star, and would be suprised if it was not one of the most popular games on the App Store, :)..Version: 1.4

✓ MAJOR UPDATE ISSUEThe game is unplayable, I don't know why exactly, but the screen no longer properly aligns when you enter a battle, I can only see the very top of the screen when I rotate my device around, the menu buttons on one side of the screen refuse to be pressed and only can be if you rotate your device. Ou cannot play the game, and that has to be the saddest thing I have to say about this game, I have enjoyed this wonderful app for years on end and I could never be more disappointed to update it only to find myself incapable of doing anything in it. ✓ There's an annoying glitchIn the game I use engineers to upgrade trenches as I get closer to the enemies base in the campaign. But for some reason it'll either give the closest base to the enemy or it'll get rid of all of my flagged trenches making me have to start at my base. The trenches stop working randomly. ✓ Fun When It WorksThe graphics and gameplay are definitely an upgrade over the original, but some of these bugs are just infuriating… Units will randomly stop moving out of cover or refuse to engage enemies that are right in front of them. In my most recent game, all of my bunkers switched control with my units still in them and enemy units started spawning in the middle of my lines. If this was only an occasional issue, I would say that it was worth it for the gameplay, but it's so pervasive that at times the bugs feel like more of a challenge than the AI and at that point, it simply fails as a piece of entertainment..Version: 1.2

✓ Pay 2 Win...ishI used to like this game a lot. It was fun, strategic, and challenging. But now it's completely unfair and pay to win. Not completely, but it's noticeable. You will be fighting tanks, very powerful units, while, if you're not buying perk points, you have the most basic units like cavalry. So unless you grind a lot, you will get stuck. But still, there is a lot to like. The nations a have mostly fair advantages and disadvantages, the combat, if both sides are even, is very good. But again, it requires an obscene amount of grinding to get to this point, or money. Get it only if you're okay with grinding and some repetition..Version: 1.4

✓ Wasted PotentialThe AI ruins this game. It uses absolutely no strategy on any difficulty. All your troop and support classes are pointless because you can beat every level by repeatedly chucking the basic rifleman at the enemy. The computer should use strategies like bunkering down and sending waves of troops. Not just single units at regular intervals. Its so boring. There are so many cool features but you can't put them to good use. Sort the AI out and this could be a 4/5 star game. Also the tank is stupidly slow and air support delay is too long. ✓ How to always win against the AIUse medics a a healing wall, 4-5 medics will keep all units alive versus everything but the rail gun and strafing run. When the AI gives up they will make an unknown number of spies and send them at you in one column killing every unit, even if you put 75+ medics right in the columns way. Why does the line of spies kill all the things? Because your units won't spot them. How to beat them once this happens? Just spam infantry the AI has basically given up at that point and you won't get any real resistance. The game is a joke now..Version: 1.4

✓ Don’t waste your time :(Unfortunately one of the worst games I've ever had the misfortune of playing. Concept is fun and the nostalgia is great, but realistically the game is horribly balanced. During the campaign the AI has an infinite amount of money and no cooldowns on their abilities, thus they lack any sort of strategy except constantly bombarding you. While it is still possible and not very hard to win, the fact that you can’t have any more than a few units on screen without the AI calling in 5 ordinance strikes really removes and possibility of fun. Missions end up taking far longer than they ever should because you have to solely gamble on whether or not you are going to get by multiple airstrikes. Would be very fun if the computer had some sort of limit on the amount of strikes they could call in, and thus giving the player something to actually play around, but unfortunately that is not the case..Version: 1.5.1

However the first difficulty level is boringly easy once you figure out a winning combination (mine is snipers supported by medics at first, with an engineer to clear up the mines for the tanks). Move up a level and it's nigh on impossible. The enemy has so much more resource than you all you can do is load infrantry and try to hang on until relentless artillery destroys you. Don't tell me the enemy has the same coin generation as you. They come in waves and the artillery is immediate and relentless. There is no way to win. ✓ Gameplay bugMy bunkers keep changing in to AI control even though I have troops in them. It seems this happens when there's a spy close to my home bunker, but sometimes they're just lurking somewhere behind my frontline. I have to hunt down the spy and destroy each bunker and then rebuild for them to revert back to being mine. If it weren't for that, the game would be great, but I keep losing missions through the enemy seizing control of all of my bunkers simply through having one spy since their troops then deploy at the closest bunker to my base. ✓ Very badly codedStupidly coded... The enemy AI can constantly use artillery over and over again seconds apart even though it costs a lot and completely wipes you out if you don't move.. It basically uses it when you have a lot of troops close together and has no cool down timer so even if you successfully dodge it 3 times it will just keep going until it gets you. ✓ ToxicI didn’t want to write this review. I adore this game, it’s fun and I have good memories. It is unplayable past the 2nd mission of the campaign. I am unable to move with the constant flood of tanks, and artillery strikes. So far I have experienced 4 tanks every 5 minutes (I timed it) and an artillery every 40-ish seconds, varying between mustard gas, napalm, or shells. All of which my bunkers offer no protection against, my medics can’t outheal. Not to mention the constant flood of ground troops, flamethrowers with better range and health, infantry that moves far faster, and a constant influx of spies that never hit land mines. ✓ Good game but...It's a good game but it's way to easy to press redeem points (you lose your points for a small amount of money) and buy points (I've accedently swiped across the top of the screen and redeemed my points)..Version: 1.4
✓ FrustratingSwipe to move the map awesome. Except when you hit the buy perks button right there where a user swipes. Lovely. Six infantry squads on the screen against one enemy squad. Only one of my squads firing. Well, that's convenient for the enemy hidden behind sandbags picking the non-firing squads off at will. I mean seriously, what squad wouldn't at least defend itself?? "Derrrrrr, we're being shot at. Guess we'll just stand here and die." I'd like to understand the rate at which the AI generates cash. They produce troops and artillery barrages at a much MUCH faster rate than I. Convenient.. I've only been playing at the easiest level. I imagine higher levels will be much more difficult and my squads will NEVER shoot..Version: 1.4
✓ Love it but too easy!I've always loved this game but, it's way way too easy! Even on the hardest difficulty! You can just get a few riflemen and march them all across at the same time and you've won. I'd love to see this being a bit harder because it can get boring after you've played it a lot.Version: 1.2
✓ FrustratedEvery time i build a bunker so i have a forward spawn it either automatically turns into an enemy spawn, is just neutral or lets me spawn one or two groups soliders and then it just turns back into an enemy spawn... ✓ Too easyI don't know what game you guys are playing but I don't see what they've done to make version 2 of this fairly lame side-scroller any better. 5 days later and it's finished. ✓ Perks without perksGreat game, but using the “redeem” is a pointless feature as it also boosts the enemy AI credits! I expect an advantage over the AI enemy. However, whenever I use “redeem” during battle, my enemy deploys extra troops or uses support attacks! The other issue is the enemy AI can gas/strike/cluster my hidden spy’s!.Version: 1.4
✓ Some problems...This game has a great idea with a great layout, the only problems are as follows; -the campaign is far too dull, u just save up rifleman then charge, there is no need to bunker down as the enemy just spawns one set of rifleman occasionally. Jazz up the AI and gameplay a bit to take full advantage of the many troops. -it is far too hard to save up money on the zombie horde mode. U end up with an army of rifleman or u die I the early rounds. Make it easier to get money. -fix the online mode so that u can see enemy and teammate troops. If u fix these problems I will rate this game 5star as u will be able to make full use of the variety of features offered..Version: 1.1.1

✓ Good to a pointAfter getting so far all the points you have built up to buy soldiers either count back down to nil or stick on what you have so after using them you don't accumulate any more. Frustrating if you get almost to enemy bunker and this happens. I wouldn't pay for this game and I certainly wouldn't buy in app purchases. ✓ Used to be betterI used to play this game a lot and recently decided to download it again and re play. After starting the campaign over, I noticed it's a lot harder than I remember it being. ✓ Great game but needs to be updatedThere are many glitches and bugs throughout the game. When I play multiplayer on wi-fi I occasionally i can't see the enemy, it says we both surrended when in fact we didn't. The skirmish needs to have an option to make the opponent much harder. It would be a great game if these problems are solved. I prefer to play the first version as it is more of a challenge and the multiplayer is fun..Version: 1.1.1

✓ Very good butA very good game but it would be great if there was a longer campaign and if you could dig trenches with engineers or something. Multiplayer is quite buggy where often cavalry will disappear . Also the game would be much more fun if instead of a kind of 2d side scroller, a 3d top down so a player can flank and completely surround an enemy and battles could be more strategic that way instead of just winning by sheer numbers.
