✓ Used to be great but now crashes...lost recordingI loved this app until today. It crashed repeatedly while I was trying to record an important phone conversation. What was “recorded” won’t play and it says error when I try to listen. I lost 5+ minutes that can’t be recovered. I used Memos on my iPad instead and it worked fine for the rest of the conversation, but now I’ll never hear what this app lost. Will be deleting the app as it’s now become unreliable..Version: 2.9

✓ Do not useWould not recommend. Used this to record two interviews for a research study. Managed to transfer one via Dropbox. The other would not transfer. Gave up and came back the next day to find both were gone. I've still yet to work out how an app can wipe itself with no update, no turn off or anything. Extremely poor. Do not use. ✓ Suddenly stopped and can’t replayI tried this the first time and recorded my meeting. 15 minutes into the meeting, it suddenly closed and stopped recording. I tried to replay the first 15 mins and none. It says error and then numbers. I tested it for 30 seconds (recorded my voice and replayed it) before I started my meeting and it was ok. But just when I needed it, it didn’t do its job. Too bad.Version: 2.9

✓ Crap ProgramThe program does record well, however, you select to have the files saved as MP3, and it saves them as CAF files. Tried contacting them numerous times via their email support system in the app and never a reply ( spam filters checked). I tried to get support through the Apple App Store and it takes you to Facebook where nothing comes up except regular Facebook. Also, you must connect to iTunes to download your recordings..Version: 1.9

✓ Doesn't save original memo after trimming!Found out the hard way that you LOSE the original memo once you trim it. Ironically you have to trim in order to share it if it's longer than like 5 minutes! There should be an automatic save of the original memo, or a save as, or at least a warning that the original memo will be permanently changed once trimmed! There isn't even an 'undo'! I lost extremely valuable recording just attempting to send it to my email! Unless you sync it immediately with iTunes there is no hope of recovery of the original either! This is a MASSIVE flaw in this app's design!.Version: 1.4

✓ Downloaded and found 2 problems!I JUST downloaded this application on my iPad and immiditally found 2 problems with it. #1. After you record something and want to play it back, on the bottom left it starts at 0:00 and on the far right shows the end point. While it is playing the far left number should be counting up!! I just recorded a long voicemail message from my iPhone and at around 1 min 40 seconds it gives me the information I need. It would be simple to skip ahead to that point in time on the left, but you can not. You instead have to figure out how long the entire recording is and then subtract that time into the message, however I add to the recording. #2. When you are playing back a recording the far right time is counting down. When it gets to say five minutes and 10 seconds: 5:10 the next number counting down should be five minutes and 9 seconds 5:09 NOT "5:9". There is NO SUCH THING as 5:9 !! Please fix these 2 problems ASAP! I'm shocked these problems made their way onto iTunes to be honest..Version: 2.5

✓ Pretty goodThis app has a powerful clear recorder. I can play back recordings on my car audio system via Bluetooth. Ideal for practicing my voice lessons. I dislike the ads which are disruptive to playback but never interfere with recording. App hangs up when I try to trim or transfer recordings to my PCM.Version: 1.9

✓ The app works OK but…I've been using this app quite a bit, the free version I was considering purchasing the full version. But something really really really got me angry. I was recording some very important things and on one recording, I hit the record button and didn't really notice but it so I thought I was recording but then when I went back to stop the recording after a few minutes, apparently sometimes when you start a recording an ad pops up and stops the recording but you have to close the ad and hit the record button again which is paused and that really really got me angry because I missed that recording. I give them two stars because I'm being merciful, and the app isn't too bad, but honestly it's the same crap as voice memos in the iPhone, I just wanted a separate app for different recordings. Ads are fine, I get it, you need an income but don't do something like that. Fine you want to put ads when I interact with the app OK, when I stop the recording and save it or something, bring up the Ad. But don't stop my recording to bring up an ad. You messed up something very important to me and that recording is gone now..Version: 2.0

✓ Super simpleThe best way to stop ads is to turn off WiFi during recordings, The best way to get good recordings is to watch the vibration line for wave patterns this will identify the amount of input you are picking up. Large waves indicate loud playback. Short waves indicate low volume playback. My only issue is paying to sync and the share locations are so limited, no BOX,no iCloud ,not many choices to store recording. And since this was an original APPLE app it should be avail free. As many original apps from APPLE really failed to be great..Version: 2.9

✓ Basics For Voice MemosYou can't really make a 'high tech voice recorder' can you? This voice recorder is the basics and very easy to use. Don't bother trying to find one with "auto tune effects." Use a singing app if you want that. This is a great voice memo app and I love it. 3 stars. P.s I'm a picky rater.Version: 2.0
