✓ Extremely frustratedThis is the BEST, most superior photo editing app I have ever used, except that text import bugs are not really fixed. I have complained for years, but the problems persist. You cannot copy and paste text without it being absurd to edit. It comes into the app in a long vertical column, each word stretched out. When you try to fix this, it goes into an enormous horizontal configuration. When you try to fix that, it freezes, or deletes text or you have to do all this manual manipulation which takes forever and usually won't give you the prompts you need to get it done. I normally would go directly to tech support, but after doing this many times, the problem is still there. I am extremely frustrated. I've tried using other apps instead, but none are as good as this one minus this problem. Please fix it!!!.Version: 5.3.0
✓ Not Great So Far, First Timer HereI just downloaded this to spice up my instagram photos. After my second text box, the next few I tried kept jumping into the middle of nowhere (not in the picture frame) and I couldn’t move them. I paid for the premium version thinking that you could only have so many text boxes on one photo and that may have been why it was glitching. I had to re-do this photo twice because the app unexpectedly closed down. I’m hoping this turns around or I will be reaching out for a refund..Version: 5.3.12
✓ Very bad.So many ads, watermarks and other rubbish. Even after paying for them to be removed my pictures come out with white blocks over them. Very glitchy, I had to restart the app multiple times for the text colour to change..Version: 5.2.7
✓ Half and halfSometimes the app works like it should, frequently, though... it falls short. When adding text, it typically works well for the first set. If you want to change the color, shadowing, etc. it normally works well! If you add another set of text it 9/10 times will not allow you to change the color of the text, adjust shadowing, etc. Then if you happen to click the first set of text, it typically kicks that color back to white with no way to adjust it back. Hence needing to close the app and start over. Extremely inconvenient!.Version: 5.1.1

✓ BreakingI love PicLab and have used it for years but recently parts of it legit won’t work. Glitches. It shuts down randomly. Part of the pic doesn’t save. Words are missing. It’s so weird. ✓ BEWARE: They’ll take your money but won’t helpSupport is a joke. I purchase the $6.99 unlock bundle a few weeks ago. After purchasing I was still unable to use the premium features, it just kept asking for me to pay again. I sent WeHeartIt support numerous emails including screenshots and actual screen recordings from my phone that show I was logged in with the Apple ID I used to buy the upgrade but still unable to use the premium features. The purchase also shows under my Purchase History. After a few emails back and forth and then sending the screen recording and another follow up email, it’s been five days now and “support” has completely stopped responding. I would not recommend upgrading to the paid version of this app because if you have an issue getting what you paid for, WeHeartIt support won’t be able to help you..Version: 5.3.12

✓ PiclabPiclab is a very handy app. I use it all the time! After downloading the full variety of masks and fonts (As well as getting rid of the watermark), I found it even more fun to use. However, I recently updated this app. It told me that the update would categorise my masks. It did. But unfortunately, something they didn't mention was that it would make half of the masks just disappear!!! After spending money to unlock them I am (understandably) quite annoyed! Take my advice and DONT update it. Also, to the Piclab creators, I would very much like to see those masks I downloaded again!!! Sound fair enough?.Version: 2.1.0
✓ Restore purchasesI actually love this app. However, having purchased the upgrades no watermark etc, with a new phone it won't restore my purchases. When emailing support, it says to input email address. ✓ Issues with Text BoxI am having a very difficult time trying to add a text box to a collage. I would add one text box and be able to change the color of the text just fine, but when I add a second box, I am unable to change the font color or font style. Also when I finish editing a picture and save it to my phone, the result looks different from what I see as my final product. Text boxes not showing up or randomly placed on the picture not anywhere near where I wanted it. Long story short, there are a lot of bugs with this, and if someone can respond to this and fix the problem that would be appreciated. ✓ What Happened Here???I touch the text to bring up editing features like the three bubbles for shadowing and it no longer shows the shadows of any color on any color font! You can’t put letters on same color backgrounds anymore and when you use this feature it saves the top left portion of the text only??? What happened to this app? I didn’t pay money to have all of the features unlocked only to be screwed in an update! And it’s not a hiccup because I deleted the app and reinstalled it - in the immortal words of Yukon Cornelius...NOTHIN’ Well, you said you fixed the shadow effect for the fonts, but no! ✓ Unresponsive ButtonsI use this app to add text to photos and sometimes add borders. That’s it. The past several months the text option works sporadically. I edited a photo THREE times this weekend and each time when I clicked the checkbox to save the photo, the text I added did not save with the photo. I also struggle to pull up the font options. ✓ Tries to double charge youI had already purchased the expanded features and was attempting to modify a photograph. When I tried to remove the watermark, it took me to a screen requiring me to buy the features again. I could not recall how long ago I had purchased the features, and thinking maybe my purchase had expired, I agreed to buy the features. Luckily the Apple store indicated I had already purchased and asked if I wanted the features for free. I said “yes,” but when I went back to my picture, it wouldn’t let me finish but instead I was again taken to the purchase features window. I tried to close out and go back, neither of which did anything, and then hit the “redo” icon and it said my prior purchases were “restored.” Why would I need to restore something I have already purchased? I’ll add text and when I save it, it is always cut off (even though it doesn’t go to the edge of the picture) or it randomly changes the size and place of the text. I then have to take a screen shot that I crop. About 75% of the time I’m not able to change the color of the text and the only way to fix it is to start completely over. I then got a pop up box that said "video can not be loaded" and immediately after a pop up box that said "congratulations your purchase for $6.99 was successful" (the amount to remove watermarks permanently). If you save a photo with text on it, and then try to continue to edit it, even though the app hasn’t been closed and the image is still on the screen, it completely messes up the format and you basically have to start all over. The beauty tool- I’m unaware of what this does because it prompts me to open my gallery or search the web for an image. Constantly freezes and certain functions will stop working mid use, requiring a reboot of the app. (Inability to change the color of the font is the one I run into most often). This closes out anything you were working on without saving it, so you must start over. I use this for business so it actually interferes with my work and wastes valuable time. I paid for full access to all features, and while I like the options it has, it isn’t worth all the trouble. I will be purchasing a new app for photo editing. ✓ Needs work!! BadlyI’m giving it a 1 star a few reasons. I really couldn’t tell what all this app could do and so I paid the full price for everything. Once I did that the shop page acts as if I still needed to buy separate items and when I went to change to the main page it prompts me to watch a video to remove the watermark. Excuse me? I just paid $6.99 for that (EVERYTHING). Strike one. Ok so I import a pic to edit and add a basic filter to. Even tapping ORIGINAL which should restore the image to its original state destroyed the original imported image and smeared it with this weird foggy layer - it’s awful and makes filters unusable for me where other apps work just fine. Strike two. Next I tried the magazine layout because that could be useful for some things I might do. Each layout has a template with words across but I couldn’t figure out how to edit the default text so it says useless things like PICLAB and never in my life would I need your app name on any project I’m working on. ✓ I love this app, but...I’ve been using PicLab for years now. I love their features and think the variety and number of stuff you get from the package deal is awesome. But I recently got a new phone (iPhone XR) and the different screen makes it so some things aren’t accessible, such as the “Family & Friends” sticker folder. Additionally the ability to add shadows to things has just completely disappeared. I’m only giving two stars to bring this to their attention partly because I’m not sure where my mobile message to support went but also because I’m hoping that this is seen ASAP! Other than these minor glitches it’s pretty awesome, although the inability to have shadows does make it harder to complete a lot of projects involving pictures with text &/or sticker overlay. Hoping a fix for these issues might already be in the works, and if not then I really hope they will be soon! The one sticker folder I can live without for the time being, but the shadows I can’t given the type of projects I use the app for. I don’t want to go anywhere else but I may have to in order to complete my projects 😔 I’m really bumming out because this app has been my best friend since 2013! The most recent update changed the aspect ratio on all the collages to Instagram-specific ratios - I don’t use Instagram and don’t give a toss about its ratios! ✓ So bad!!Okay so when I got this app, I thought the stuff on there would be free like advertised. WRONG!! You have a few free things but that’s it. 1: the stickers, you only get 4 free ones out of like 50. 2: the free collage choices are: one split in half vertically for 2 photos, one exactly like like the first one, but horizontal, one with 3 boxes for 3 photos, and finally one split into 4, for 4 photos. 3: for fonts, you get like 10 free ones out of like 60. 4: special effects like snowflakes or leaves, or light leaks you only get a few of the light leaks free. 5: borders. Download them once and you can use them a few times, and then they somehow just disappear. 6: once you save your collage, it’ll but all your stickers or text in the corner of you collage. That forces you to make super big, and even then they cut off your text. 7: the magazine covers? Not a single one is free. This app could definitely use some work to make it better..Version: 5.3.34

✓ Fun app but most of it is for saleI enjoyed editing my picture but there aren’t as many options as many other apps that I use for photo editing. It didn’t take long to find out that much of what I wanted had to be purchased. There would be one and sometimes two stickers or sayings that I would have liked to use, but they were only available for purchase of a whole set. And I couldn’t find out if I could color the stickers so they weren’t all white, which doesn’t do much if your background is white or light..Version: 5.2.4

✓ It is so close to greatnessThis app just isn’t capable of much. The filters are cool, and the tools are alright, but your just too limited. The text option is broken, totally ruining your photo if you add too much. The ads are unbearable unless you purchase free mode, with a pop up for PicLab pro IN YOUR WORK SPACE. For what it’s worth, they never advertised themselves to be anything more than a way to make cool photos and add headings, but I would have liked it if it could just do more. ✓ Buttons simply don’t workIf all of the features worked properly, I would happily use the app and even pay the $10 for premium features. Instead it is wonky and difficult to get any of the buttons to work. Adding a border causes your image to shift to the left, you can’t evenly decrease ratios, the colour tool for the text simply didn’t work, sometimes images would go in front of the text, the list goes on. ✓ PicLab was the best picture app everI am applying for sponcership for my truck and I want professional pictures and I only get one shot so as many as I can add in a single photo can be a huge advantage. I've been trying to remove the water mark considering I've purchased the full unlock. I haven't used it in awhile but the app is acting like I've paid nothing tried restore app purchases, tried app support (it's a useless tab on the website. ✓ DisappointingI worked really hard on a photo to put on my Instagram, and I had it just right after about 20 minutes of editing. I went to save the photo onto my camera roll and the entire app crashed. This happened every single time I edited that photo, it just crashes and I have to start again. I'm very disappointed, I've been waiting for this particular flaw to be fixed for nearly a year, but every time the app updates it just gets worse. ✓ Makes you pay for the actual features it advertisesThe actual app itself is pretty good that is until you want to do literally anything the app has advertised. It puts a watermark on the photos and then says if you want to remove, pay for it. We don’t want to pay for something we will not use that often. Sponsor your app and make money that way and you’ll see more people start to actually use your app. I don’t recommend to anyone who wants to edit photos to get this app unless you’re willing to spend money on pointless things where you should get those features for free.
