Subscription Model Isn’t for EveryoneJust bought this app about a month ago along with Unfade, part of the reason I chose these apps was no subscription. Honestly I feel a bit put off now, like I was tricked (yes, I understand that I haven’t lost any features). Well, I completely understand that $0.99 or even $4.99 doesn’t cover the development cost of a high quality app such as Scanbot I would really like to see a standalone version of the app for around half of the subscription price. Not a huge fan of the subscription model, I have enough bills monthly adding a scanning app to the mix is not appealing at all. Honestly, $29.99 a year for a scanning app is a big ask....like huge when you can buy a scanner for around $100 and not be tied into a subscription model. Lastly, the way this transition has been handled hasn’t been great. Many users such as myself updated to the newest version to be present with this new payment system. What should have happened is 9.0 should have been it’s own separate release to separate this massive change in policy. I hope this is a learning experience for the developer and moving forward they will consider allowing a one time payment for each major release as well as providing the subscription model for those who prefer it. At $29.99 a year I’m afraid I’m going to probably bow out at some point, it’s just to much for an app that scans documents (something that to some degree is already built into iOS notes). I think $14.99 is a more reasonable price point and fair to users and the developer. On a side note, after poking around the AppStore I noticed that there’s a $99.99 version of Scanbot Pro and a $9.99 version of Unfade (Photo Scanner) Pro - are these one time buy apps with upgrades for life? This is another example of how confusing your revenue model is for your users and it’s not explained at all on your website (at least I can’t find anything). Best scannerLove the app. Used it almost every day to scan to PDF and then automatically upload to Cloud storage. However, the latest “update” is an extortion - force to pay monthly for what have already been paid for the “Pro” app..Version: 9.3.2

I can’t see how to add a filter when uploading previous photos from camera rollMagic filter works when taking a new pic, but where is it when you have already got your notebook of previous photos? You can only alter the filter when uploading, not once you have uploaded and in the notebook. Surely this should be more obvious? Paid for full version and I have a notebook with previous images but can’t alter the filter. Feeling pretty disappointed. Unlikely to recommend until this is sorted..Version: 8.5.0

Works same as usualNew names , same app. it never gets smarter with finding borders. i wish there was a button and each time you push it the crop frame moves inward to the next possible border. there should be this button for the whole crop and a button for each of four sides. also it should be easy to move crop without taking the corner out of 90 ° right angle. basically it’s very annoying as it always was. also the new icon is terrible. Looks like a grayed out icon for an app that didn’t install correctly. Please allow choice of the red icon which appears in the settings..Version: 9.3.9

Great app but need to honor previous paid full version without remindersI purchased the previous version before swiftscan became subscription based. We need a way to completely disable the splash screen when entering the app. It makes the product I purchased almost unusable because the whole point of the product is to quickly be able to open and start scanning right away or access my files which I have scanned. Old scans have been scrubbed & new fees are way to much!Had been using this fine (apart for crashes) on occasion for years then find that you wiped the slate clean when you started charging silly money. Readable’s tiny scan or it’s big brother do a better job as my scanned info is in my wallet cloud not on your servers or dumped! I had a few docs I’d of liked back. Now we got iOS 15 this really has become a big waste of money. Life’s got enough bills without apps that get an occasional use wanting to hit you each month. RIP ScanBot.Version: 9.5.8

Abruptly upgraded to a subscription modelThis is absolutely the best scanning app out there, and I’ve been using it for years in pro mode after paying like $4 once. Now they’ve abruptly switched to a subscription model, which is fair and I totally support it, but there was no transition. Yesterday I was doing just fine with Scanbot, but today I can’t do the same stuff without paying up. The company’s blog says all features that I previously paid for will still work and I’ll only need to start a subscription if I want new features, but yesterday I was using folders, and today I can’t because it’s apparently a new feature since the folders look a little different. The iOS Notes app has since become able to scan documents pretty much just as well. I ignored this before since I’d already paid for this app, but now I find myself back in evaluation mode and I’ll have to consider weaning back to Notes since it’s getting a nice update soon..Version: 9.0

Buyer beware ! Upgrade or they downgrade you!Bought the full pricey version with OCR feature and automatic upload to cloud services. Suddenly, all functions are downgraded. Not worth it any longerI’ve been using this app since the scanbot days, not sure why they decided to swap the name so many times but to each their own. Let me just say functionally this app probably can’t be beat if your looking for a scan app with loads of amazing features and don’t mind paying a premium, this is it. That being said, the premium is where I draw the line I paid for the pro version a long time ago and now I’m told that a need a subscription? And $4/mo at that. Frankly, there are free apps that fit the same bill and don’t come with the price tag. This was a ludicrous money grab by this company, who’s probably feeling the heat because Apple is stepping up their game in the photo scanning business. Ultimately I would not recommend purchasing this app because subscriptions always go up in price and for what the app does it’s simply not worth the money..Version: 9.4.1

Great app but suddenly wants a subscriptionThis is my go-to scanning app. Easy to use and quick. But suddenly after an app update, Scanbot wants a subscription. The release notes didn’t mention this and now I’m stuck in version 9. It feels like I’ve lost a great tool..Version: 9.0

Pretty good app, but...I have used Scanbot for a few years and was happy with it, however I found I cannot rely on it which makes it unusable for archiving my important documents Often I would notice that some of my scans disappear ( when I scan but do not completely finish, it just disappears without notifying me ). I have lost quite a few important documents this way that I cannot get back anymore I always get my scanned documents copied over to my own storage using the cloud drive functionality , but had issues there and sometimes I get duplicates and sometimes things are missing Especially when they decided to switch to the subscription model, I could no longer transfer my important documents over to storage which made me very angry. I will not pay for this subscription as a couple of the free scanning apps are just fine for the scanning and I can not justify the fees for the difference in functionality. Slowly removing featuresI paid for the pro version before they switched to the subscription model of $40 / yr. Now they are slowly removing basic features that I paid for before they are charging for a subscription. First it was the constant nagging of their subscription every time I open it. Even when you tell it, no thanks, I don’t want pro, it will remind you in a few days of the subscription offer. Now. I can’t sort my scans into folders since I don’t pay for it monthly. And there are even more ads. Slowly putting basic features behind their paywall. Constantly surprised by newly pay-walked featuresI purchased the full version of this app in 2017 and have used and recommended it constantly since then. Or at least I did until a year or two ago when I was told by a friend that the “amazing and affordable scanner app” wasn’t quite as affordable as I told them. Each time I open the app I’m met with fewer features available to me because they are now part of the “VIP” annual subscription. When I bought the full version in 2017, it was with the promise of full access to the app and all future updates/features. I understand that perhaps, in hindsight, the creators realized that a $8 one-time purchase wasn’t sustainable…but also promising full future use and taking it away isn’t a great way to treat longtime customers. Will it be likely that I’ll find a cheaper full-version app that has the same features? Probably not. But at least I’ll be going into that app knowing the actual future costs of usage. The way the price and feature changes were handled here with no warning to longtime paid users that they would lose features unless they paid again has soured my impressions of what was once a very solid and reliable app..Version: 9.6.22

Hidden cheesy Analytics Data toggleApp itself is alright, great interface, detection is good but can be improved further. The only problem I have is with the Send Analytics Data option. Usually Apps put it in options/settings even if its defaulted to send data. At least they are open about it. Scanbot however, much to my disappointment, hide it in ios settings(Settings -> Scanbot ->Analytics). People don’t usually don’t look there, I only discovered it by reading the Privacy Policy(I suppose they have to mention it there for legal purpose). The app itself does not mention such toggle whatsoever. It’s a weird design choice to say the least, cheesy, even ungenuine to say the worst..Version: 9.1.0

Yet another subscription?You should really allow folks to alright bought the app to be grandfathered into the subscription features. Clearly you thought about this and decided the backlash would be worth it, but I’m not renting every single third party app I like and I’ll be voting with my money. Agree with those who said it is trashAgree so much with those people who said that the app went from the best to the worst. Facts that I know: Apps went from free to subscription are totally fine, because they are having more and more features, and those features were made from developers who did hard work. They deserve some payback from clients. Apps went from one-time payment to subscription are totally money grabber, because they don’t seem to care about user experience and they just want money (The case of ScanPro app). That is their decision if they want more money or more clients. I deleted the app a few months ago and I switched to Scanner Pro and Camscanner. Couldn’t be more happy..Version: 9.3.6

No longer the bestUsed to be perfect. The recent versions would not start unless you had a decent internet connection making it fairly frustrating to use on the go. The second major frustration is with the recent upgrade. It hung during updating my database, I reinstalled the app and promptly lost all previous scans. The app didn’t seem clever enough to reindex. Used to be betterI bought this when it was scanbot. They updated to a subscription that allows you to keep your features but hides them to try to get you to upgrade. It is a useful app and works well. I purchased 100 fax credits and only used 30. The other 70 disappeared from my account and they are trying to get me to buy more. After emailing support, I am 2 months in and they don’t respond other than to say “we have received your note and will respond.” I loved the app until the recent changes and moved it from 5 to 3 stars..Version: 9.6.3

All documents lostI have been using this app for over 1 1/2 years ever since my wife passed away and I scanned all the death certificates and all the documents and everything needed also this last year I got sick and had all of my medical records scanned my Covid tests my vaccine records blood tests health reports doctors reports all the things that I need to be in contact with including all the bills that I need to pay for medical expenses had several hundred documents scanned in and sorted. Then all of the sudden the application locked up put a red screen when I restarted the iPhone all my documents were gone and there is no back up. Do not trust this application these were some of the only copies of my documents that I had and I just assumed they were backed up to the cloud including a property that I had just purchased and I urgently need to get a document to the bank for tax purposes and it’s all gone.Version: 9.6.15

Forcing to get into a subscriptionIt is very disappointing to see that I have now to pay a subscription to get the most basic features that I used to have when I purchased this app. Searching files or copying text is no longer available for example. Good anount of features lack of speedI subscribed to the paid pro version of your app, however I ended up cancelling it and switching back to Scannable. Even though your app is feature rich when paid for, the startup time is way too slow compared to the competition, which is free as far as Scannable is concerned. This is the kind of app where you sometimes need to do a quick scan, and Scanbot feels way to heavy to do that. I’m left stranded on the loading “Please wait...” screen for a long time with an iPhone 11 Pro. On the contrary with Scannable as soon as you open the app, even from scratch, you don’t have to wait at all and go straight into the camera ready to go. If this could be solved, I would come back and take a subscription again for the many paid features you offer that other apps don’t..Version: 9.3.4

Subscription Not Recognized - Double ChargedLong time user of this app and was willing to commit to an annual subscription to support development and growth. Opened up the app today and was prompted to subscribe to “VIP” and all the previous features I have under active subscription were gone. Restore subscription would not work and I was actually able to “subscribe” and now have two active annual subscriptions. My original is at $24 and new one is at $35? Hmmm… how is that even possible unless something was changed in the app. Requested refund for higher priced sub from Apple and still have existing sub and still not getting sub features. Committed the cardinal app sinInadvertently pressed a ‘restore purchases’ button in-app and with no warning functionality was severely limited in an attempt to railroad me into a yearly subscription. I understand moving to a subscription model but tricking users into an ‘update’ or ‘restore’ that strips out functionality is a sly and dishonest tactic. I’m not usually one for a inordinate focus on change management, but in this case, the SwiftScan team require a lesson in communicating change. I’ve used this app for many years, and supported by paying for a pro version in the early days. Removing the functionality I paid for, regardless of how long ago, is dishonest. Have paid app and still get ADs every time I openI purchased this app a while ago when it was called something else. Then when the company that currently owns it now bought it,and change the name to SwiftScan, it seems every time that I open the app it asks me to upgrade to VIP for a charge even though I purchased the highest tier available at the time years ago. I’ve reached out to SwiftScan about this issue and they told me to click the top left restore button. however, this does not resolve the issue and I still get this ad every time I open the app. The whole purpose of me buying this app is because it opens fast,But now I have this stupid extra step I have to click through every time I open this app making it not so instantaneous. Since the latest update now unusableSince the latest update you can’t share a scanned document as a PDF only as a JPEG. Who saves a document as a JPEG? Did you do ANY testing at all for this release? I can’t believe you released this major update with such a severe defect. I will have to use alternate software to do my scanning until you fix this. Too expensive no wayThe app bombards you within 5 seconds of opening the app to immediately upgrade to their premium version at a cost of £38 a year! Then you click no and it’s asks you again so you click no then because you did not pay them £38 there and then they fill your screen with ads this is all before even seeing if it’s any good. Now those features are locked behind a paywall and the developer is claiming that they haven’t changed a thing. ScanBot customers left wantingI bought ScanBot Pro (the original version of this app) and had the understanding that when it changed to a subscription model I would still have access to all the features I paid for - over the lifetime of the app. While this has been true I have often been bombarded with adverts for the subsections service I do not want it need when starting the app - affecting my use of it when I just want to scan something. Recently this worsened with lots of access to some of the features I had paid for and relied on as well as banner adverts everywhere. I contacted support, who told me that a solution was being worked on and offered me a month of the subscription service in the meantime. I will wait for a fix to arrive within a month and then reconsider my continued use of the app. Developers - treating your existing customers well is the way to ensure they remain customers in the future. Just amazingThis is a rip off. I used to use this app but now they have taken away features I used to use and are saying I now have to pay to use those same features. Forget it. Why is Scanbot Pro $70?The free Scanbot is good but not necessarily better than other free scanners. In fact, there are other free scanners that can do more than Scanbot. All the locked features are available on Scanbot Pro for $70. However, even those premium features are free in other free scanners, so whenever there is a limitation in one scanner, I simply move to the next scanner that does offer that feature for free. Most free scanners have limitations, but, as long as I move from one free scanner to the next, I basically get to use the “premium” features. I hope Scanbot Pro can reasonably reduce the price in half, because with the availability of free apps and in-app purchases, few people would pay monthly for a scanner..Version: 9.1.1

Unstable and Bloated Since Name Change from ScanBotI have relied on this for scanning all of my paper docs for nearly a decade. Back then it was called ScanBot and it was an efficient and rock-solid app. Since then the developer sold it off and the new devs have somehow made it so unstable that it crashes in the middle of a scan half of the time. When it does run, it uses so much CPU that the phone gets hot. (I have experienced this on both the iPhone XS Max 512gb and iPhone 14 Pro Max 512 gb.) The kicker is that I still use it as the scanning and document workflow features that it has had since 2016 are IMO still the best that I have found so I guess I will keep using it until something better comes along..Version: 9.6.35

Bad business practiceThe App Store here is quite clear that the paid subscription is optional and only for new features. Fair enough. But this is not made clear when accessing the app following the update. It just informs you ‘now we’re a subscription service but the first year is discounted as you already bought the product’. Free version heavily locked down - cannot evaluateYou open the app and it almost immediately starts hitting you with ‘upgrade to pro’ screens. Just about everything is locked down to ‘pro’ version only when you attempt to use it so impossible to truly evaluate how ‘good’ the app is. If you are looking at using this as a ‘free’ version, you get the same functionality as the apple camera, so go use that instead..Version: 8.5.1

It was a great app...until recentlyHave used this app for years to keep track of receipts for business and it has been everything I could need. It has been amazing. This last month something I was promoted to buy an upgrade and locked out of use of the app. It appeared that in order to access the use of the app and to recover previous scan I would need to purchase an upgrade. This issue was compounded by the fact that, first I’m not sure why I have to buy it b/c it was working finely to this pint and second, every time I tap on any storage options there is an error message so even if I did want to purchase it, I can’t. It at least three days of very concerned on/off searching to figure out how to regain control of the app. I did eventually figure out how to do this, but am no longer anywhere as enthusiastic about this app. To hold my 7 months worth of tax receipts hostage as a marketing tool is a very low tactic. Bottom line, be prepared for a hard sell into their premium tier. This app seems to be more about making money for the developer than the ease of use for the consumer..Version: 9.1.1

Finally!!!So after nothing but snark and non-answers from customer service, my app FINALLY decided to unlock itself today!!! Luckily I left my folders in my iCloud, so all of my hundreds of important documents were recovered inside the application! BUT the application updated a few months ago and when it did, it erased my ‘Pro’ settings. I had paid for a year and that was deleted. So now that I finally have gotten it to work again, all on my own, btw, I am hesitant to pay more than the smallest amount because I do not want my money taken again, just for the app to roll back my payments and act as though I have never paid again. Then I have to pay over and over. It is ludicrous. I would delete completely if it wasn’t BY FAR, the best scanner app on the market! I guess I have to draw a line at where ‘the best’ doesn’t matter as much as ‘working correctly without stealing my money’.Version: 9.3.4

More like ScamProAre used to have a scanBot before it turned into scan pro and the app worked just fine. Scanned basic pages, recognised the edges of the document and saves them to my Google Drive or so I thought. Upon the app changing from scanBot to ScanPro it seems all of my documents have been lost, not only that, now everything I tried to tap is leading me to an advert for ScanPro my app now says ScanPro there was no on boarding process for moving me from the old to the new and now all of my documents are missing exactly the opposite of what you need from document scanning service. Was great, now…ScanBot (now SwiftScan) was formerly my go-to scanning app but sadly nowadays the subscription service model is just not worth it and slicker alternatives make SwifScan a clunky and less usable backup app. It’s just becoming increasingly bloated and is constantly shedding useful features for existing customers. Upgrade? NOT on your Nelly!!!I don't do In-App purchases! Ever! With this attitude in mind I purchased the Pro version of ScanBot some time ago. Amongst the features are: uploading, sharing, documents to cloud storage, and creating or managing folders. An update is available and a *new* name change! Likely the new owners decision. BUT, most importantly, the features you've been using all along are being removed and you can pay £99 for the privilege of restoring them. Although the app is, I've found, one of the better scanning apps for mobile use, I don't do that many scans to warrant this charge. It simply leaves one feeling really ripped off!! And yes, I know Apple take £30, BUT, it's Maple Media who have decided to disable, and charge for, existing features. What's to stop them simply increasing the subscription willy nilly to support those new Tesla they all need? Not the original developers though. They've all left. Untrustworthy Business PracticesI had been a Scanbot customer for a long time, having paid for the premium version. With the move to a subscription model many of the previous premium version features are now locked away behind an additional monthly fee. I don’t mind being locked out of new features—that’s what the subscription is supporting after all—but it’s impossible to trust a company that retroactively locks features that have been previously paid for behind a new subscription payment. Also worth noting is that none of these features are utilising Scanbots servers so their usage isn’t costing Scanbot anything past the initial development. Paid for pro and got no features.I paid for the pro version of this app, only to have all my features taken away once the Scanbot 9 version came out. I use to be able to adjust all the documents to my liking and annotate. I no longer can do the basic functions that I paid for. Lost functions due to move to subscription model!Was as excellent app but unfortunately (as with lots of other apps where you have paid a one time fee) there has been some lost functionality that I have already paid for in the move to subscription. Really disappointed at the developers for this!! And also feel ripped off at paying for something for it to then be changed at the developers whim. Case in point. I used to be able to select the folder where my scans where being saved when naming the file. Now this is a subscription feature..Version: 9.3.4

Disappointed that features are removedI’ve been using scanbot for a while… I recently noticed that my integration to ToDist has been removed from Scanbot Pro and you have to subscribe to this version to access this feature. Automatic scanning and fax pricing needs improvementThe automatic scanning algorithm used is very good in that scans are taken quickly when aligned. Although, if you compare to “Genius Scan” you’ll see the algorithm used is little to quick and does not let the user see always when the item to be scanned is aligned and can cause multiple mistakes to happen. Although I’m really liking the dark text quality in black & white scans. Scanbot’s fax pricing is questionable. Both Genius Fax and Scanbot offer 10 pages for $6.99. But Genius Fax offers also 1 page for $.99 cents. It appears the faxing sources are the same, but Scanbot is purposely trying to force you to buy the higher priced $6.99 option to profit the provider and themselves. Additionally, Genius Fax offers the user an option for a fax number and Scanbot doesn’t..Version: 8.5.2

New version is useless for businessPurchased Scanbot for the purpose of scanning and emailing documents to the guys in the office while I'm on the go, used every day successfully for 6 months. New version does not support email. The whole app became useless to me overnight. Very frustrating as I am not interested in cloud synching and other functions. Watermark :(I’ve been using this app for four years; genuinely my favorite scanner app ever. over the years, features have been paywalled, but the basic, easy-to-use functionality was the same, so i personally didn’t mind. however, the app has recently added a WATERMARK to all the scanned documents, only removable through a separate payment, making it virtually unusable for submitting important documents, especially as everything is now online. two stars because it is still unmatched in terms of user interface, but i’m really sad that i basically can’t use this app anymore..Version: 9.5.8

No text export. Scans inaccurate.Why no ability to export the text converted by OCR? Also punctuation seems to screw up the OCR engine's ability to accurately convert an image to text. Seen better elsewhere..Version: 5.2.1

Misleading pricesThis app's description in the App Store is confusing, in the description it states that it's a subscription based app. But bellow that, where they list the In-App Purchases, it lists what appears to be a one time fee lists. Such as 6.99 for the full Pro features, or 8.99 for the VIP Full Scanner App. I always look at the section first before I read the description. I figured that any fees should be listed under In App Purchase list. Isn't that the whole purpose of that section? I do not purchase any apps that are subscription based, unless it's a periodical such as a magazine or newspaper. Sorry but the crazy prices this and other apps charge is nothing but ridiculous. Unless you are releasing new features every few days) there is no reason to pay so much for the same o' features. There are plenty of scanning apps full of features that are just as good without a monthly subscription. Poor decision moving to the subscription model!So we get to keep the Pro features which have been released prior to 9.0 update - any new ones are being a subscription paywall. £6.99 it cost to get the Pro, and now it’s devalued even more. Should have been clearer about moving to the subscription model and grandfathered old customers to the new model - but instead of asking us to pay MORE (discount for the first year of subscription aside), those who paid should be given all the features and only new customers to pay the subscription fee, as they will not have the option to do one-off anymore. It is a good app and I will continue using it, but only because I already paid for it and there is nothing better around - which won’t be for long as more features will be only for subscribers... Would not recommend it to new customers, unless they are 100% fine with paying the yearly subscription. —— Edit: So the devs don’t care so long as I’ll be using Scanbot? Greedy company....I had paid for the pro version, top-of-the line. Upgraded my iPhone to iOS 14, and suddenly nag screens everywhere you tap asking for more payments, subscriptions - AND WHAT APPEARS TO BE LOST FUNCTIONALITY that was paid for in the previous app. Upgrade comes at the expense of: - requests for more money, subscribe. - prime real estate now displays developer messages - no in app ways to get support (so issues are now here in app review instead of support ticket.). Current message is ASKING TO SUBSCRIBE - stuck at the top of the screen - no settings to remove it - annoying pia distracting marketing messages when what you want to see are your documents — NOT MARKETING MESSAGES!!!! - slower workflow requiring extra taps to get work done ——— Terrribly disgruntled young have paid for the app to then have another developer let customers down flipping to subscription models - no wonder why so many hack the apps - you can not trust developers any more. Can’t search document contents after upgrading to premiumThe vip service didn’t allow me to search ocr contents when I have a file I know has scanned the text with say “new contract” in the document contents and I can’t search for a document with words new contract. Make sure you have your game face on.Granted I haven’t even gotten an opportunity to use the app to the capacity of my own choosing as of yet...I’m still incredibly disappointed that what looked like the introductory page, (showing off all of the features and whatnot) was actually a sorry way for this company to get the customer to buy $8.99+ packages. Scam app. Dishonest developers.I’m a long time user of this app under its pervious name. I paid for the ‘pro’ version. When subscription model was introduced developers promised all current features would continue in basic non-subscription model. Opened app today to find they have locked me out of features I have paid for. Upgrade screen still promises all features I’ve paid for will continue free but they DO NOT. Good app but aggressive billingThis is the best scanner app out there that I’ve found - but I have been unimpressed with how aggressive it’s been with pushing subscriptions. I purchased the app for a one-time fee a few years ago and at that stage they said they’d continue to offer the features I’d already purchased without needing to buy a subscription - which they did… until a few months ago. I got pretty annoyed but, after failing to find any other apps that did what I want, I decided to buy a one year subscription, which I then cancelled to stop it rebilling later automatically. Now, every time I open the app it interrupts me to tell me to buy a new subscription. All in all, if there was any other choice I’d go elsewhere because I find this to be way too aggressive..Version: 9.6.42

I have to pay now...Had to change my stars to 3. So I was using this app for the longest time and it was great. But now I have to pay for features that were free before. That’s low and grimy. Your business model should be rolling out new features you want me to pay for because you entice me with your innovation. That’s a good subscription model to follow. Changing it so people pay for what they are already used to using is ghetto and shows your company lacks some insight in attracting customers to make more revenue. Great appAwesome is a simple way to describe this app. Since initially loading and then upgrading I have found this app invaluable for quick copies of documents and being able to email directly to where I need it to go. Also brilliant for keeping records of those receipts from a thermal printer that disappear within a couple of months. Petrol receipts are easily maintained and sorted with album feature..Version: 6.6.1

Subscription issuesUpdated from 1 to 3 stars based on developer response Swiftscan did find and fix the subscription issue after about a week. The app is now useful again. Two stars deducted for the loss of productivity from not having the app when I needed it, time wasted troubleshooting, and the hugely annoying, spammy, and mostly useless interface that I had to interact with when the app reverted to unpaid mode. There should have been an immediate work around to get me productive while they did the technical troubleshooting on their end. ------ I paid for a vip subscription which is active through the end of april. I noticed recently that my files stopped syncing properly to icloud and ocr stopped working. Today, I went in to investigate and the app became unusable- my subscription was deauthorized and instead of my files I get ads and nag screens. I am at a conference and expected to use this app every day. Now, I have a stack of files to scan and am left to wait for whenever someone at swiftscan picks up the ticket and decides to make my app usable again. Not cool..Version: 9.6.42

Worked great before……but now it’s actively worse than before. Quality of scans is lower than when I bought it a few years ago. Files too largeEven on the worst quality setting a 10 page doc becomes well over 5mb. This is way too big to use for a standard application or similar as lots of companies have a cap on their attachment sizes. Seems so obvious and like such an easy fix...Version: 6.7.4
