✓ Simple and FunctionalIf you want a calculator for your iPad/iPhone that is quite functional yet easy to see and easy to use, thus is the one. It just plain does the job! In the last update they made the numbers light grey in color on a slightly darker grey background. It was infinitely easier to see when the numbers were black. I have no idea which “genius” decided virtually no contrast was better but obviously he/she is young and has excellent eyesight, many of us enjoy neither trait..Version: 6.3.7
✓ Brilliant to have calc & convert togetherLove the concept. However very USA centric as still in the latest release there is a lack of imperial units like lbs as used in the UK. Themes still have a problem on my iPhone se as my earlier review mentioned. The digits are now black as they should be in the lighter themes but still the top line icons and text of the iPhone are white on pale background so unreadable. ✓ New Version Crippled with Inopportune Pop-Up AdsI downloaded this app years ago, and it was great. Then I’m the last several years I noticed more and more ads that just always happened to pop-up right when I’m about to make a calculation and causes me to press the ad, instead of the calculator. This in turn results in me being taken to the advertisers webpage, when all I wanted to do was a quick calculation. I’m fine with ads or sponsors embedded into the app itself, but when you create pop-ups that hover right over the most commonly used buttons, it gets really annoying. (I now have to wait a second before pressing anything to make sure no ad jumps out.) Thankfully, my iPhone has a calculator so I only use this app if I’m on my iPad. I need to use a conversion app during time-sensitive preflight planning, to convert different charts with different measurements...to determine if it’s safe to fly in remote areas. I don’t have 30-60 seconds every few minutes to watch an ad, nor do I need to lose my train of thought when I’m making decisions that could literarily kill me or others. ✓ Good app, but needs bug fixMost recent update has caused the temperature calculator malfunction. When selecting Celsius the calculator works but if you select Fahrenheit it will double its value. Likewise if you select Fahrenheit first and enter the temperature it will not calculate properly in Celsius. I haven't tested out all of the other features so who knows what else may be broken. ✓ No longer ad-freeI know I'm probably expecting too much for nothing, but this seemed to be the holy grail - a free calculator for the iPad that did the job and wasn't blighted by advertisements. "No annoying ads", says the description, but what's that in the top corner after a few moments of use? An ad for Dell. Or the Daily Mirror. Or whatever. Granted, they're more discreet than in other calculators I've tried, but they're there, and I'm annoyed. And the app also pesters me to rate it, or look at the developer's other apps. So, it doesn't do what it says on the tin, and for some reason it's limited to 6 decimal places. Sorry, 2 stars at best..Version: 1.3

So I figured it wouldn’t hurt to pay a couple bucks to get rid of the ads. I didn’t pay attention to the price beforehand, so imagine my surprise. My bad. Anyway, it’s a pretty decent calculator. I’m coming from the galaxy note, so I really missed having an all in one calculator and Unit converter. This one is okay, with just a few annoyances. First, the sound effects are very jarring. Would be better if the key presses sounded more like the iPhone default keyboard sound, in my opinion. ✓ Great Conversion App, but subscription required now??I purchased this app several years ago and absolutely love it. It does all of my conversions for work and I never have to jump on Google. I opened the app yesterday to make some conversions, and over half of the conversions are locked out. I already paid years ago and had full functionality for ALL conversions. Nothing was ever locked out. Now you want me to pay a yearly subscription on top of what I already purchased. Horrible business model and horrible to your long time customers. Try dividing 2 by 7 and then multiply it by 7. Any calculator which doesn't get the answer "2" is very flawed indeed. Or perhaps my standards are higher than the other reviewers. ✓ Terrible UpdateSadly, I updated the programme today. I have vision problems and have liked using this calculator up until now. The numbers on the display used to be lovely, large, and black on a pale yellow background. Since the update, they have changed to large, white numbers on the pale yellow background and I can no longer read the numbers. There is the option of changing the skin on the calculator, but none of the options match the old display.
