✓ Great Fun!This game is stupidfun. you sit in a boat, dodging the fish until you either hit the bottom, hit a fish or your line runs out. Then you try and hit as many fish before your line surfaces. Then you commit piscine genocide with a variety of guns, of which you get paid to do. Perhaps you are being paid by the Aquatic Life Voluntary Extinction Movement. You use this money to buy longer lines, more powerful guns or oil for your chainsaw lure. All in all, some stupidfun to while away a few minutes..Version: 1.31

Billy’s journey is memorable, and finding the deepest fish to blow sky high is as ridiculous as it gets. ✓ Best Fishing Game on the App StoreI have spent over $1,000 in games for iOS, and I can say with confidence that I regret 99% of my purchases. This game, however, from the moment I bought it and up to today, has always been worth it. It combines a unique approach to iOS games that rely on movement of your phone with a story that will make you laugh and cry. The story is emotional and well told, but also completely unessential to the gameplay. If you just want that high score, you don’t have to pay attention to the story, because it doesn’t matter! If you want it though, the story is there for you, with it’s loving message about family and redemption. I wouldn’t recommend this game to anyone who wants to play a realistic fishing game, but I would recommend it to anyone who wants to play a fun game that combines the most essential parts of life: fishing, hunting, and family. P.S. There are many clones of this game, please don’t buy them. Ridiculous Fishing was made by the original developers of Radical Fishing, the first game that combined fishing with throwing fish in the air and shooting them. ✓ The BESTI got this app years ago and played it once. So, the other day, I’m on hour 4 of a 6 hour plane ride, and I’ve listened to all the music and audiobooks I can tolerate. I’m scrolling through my phone looking for something new and I find this preposterous thing! Two hours later, my wife has to nudge me to say the plane has landed and I have to get off. She thought I’d lost my mind, all the more so when I tried to explain the premise of the game. The thing is, there is no barrier to entry. Any idiot can play instantly. But there’s a lot to learn - rolled out at just the right pace. And no jamming you up for money. What a breath of fresh air! And the humor in the game is just the greatest - no small part of its appeal. This is just perfect for withdrawing from the world yet retaining the ability to rejoin, reluctantly, if needed. In this game you have to go deep in the sea without taking fish and when you go up take the maximum fish you can but warning don't take jellifish. But you cant really come back to it now because the game has not been updated to work on newer phones, none of the menus work visually and the fishing is so zoomed out it isn't fun anymore. ✓ OutstandingBrilliant game with hours of fun. I've played this game non-stop since purchasing and can't believe how addictive it is! Great graphics with a smooth gameplay. It is difficult in some areas but that adds to the enjoyment. Games are far too easy nowadays and this adds a bit of annoyance about it to keep you wanting more. Quirky little images and messages during the game give you a smug grin that leaves yourself feeling very happy with yourself. ✓ Absolute perfection.I was about seven years old when i first played this game. my mom had it on her ipad and i was hooked from the very first time i played it. every time i went in her room, i played this on her ipad while she watched whatever show on the tv. i remember actually "completing" the game when she was asleep and being so shocked and surprised i had to take a few minutes. i was still seven years old so i couldn't comprehend everything, but i know it was significant. now i'm sixteen years old and this game has always managed to come into my mind. i downloaded it for myself just yesterday and i've been addicted. it's so simple, yet so interesting that it just pulls you back in for more. the game hasn't changed much since i first played it and i'm glad. i'm amazed by the simplicity of the game and how nostalgic it's made me. my life is going at a million miles per hour, but it's nice to sit back and play this game. i even showed my mom and we ended up having a conversation about how excited i was playing the game. i'm extremely happy this game is still available and i really believe it's worth every penny. of course, i have a connection to it so one may say i'm biased, but i really believe it. it's simple, but really brings you in to play it again and again. i can only hope you'll have as much fun playing it as i do..Version: 1.50

✓ Quite a Remarkable Game, but..I love this game, i’ve played this game for years and i’ve wanted to play it again recently, but as soon as I downloaded it, I saw that the UI and interface are all messed up, the visuals are not how they’re supposed to be, and I wish that could be fixed so we could all enjoy the game again. I use an Iphone 8 plus and i’ve also heard this “bug” affects IPhone X’s, and it’d just be a dream come true if we got an update for this. ✓ MemoriesI played this awhile ago with my dad I redownloaded it and reset my data. This game if you know what you’re doing is about 3-4 hours long (if you cheat by changing time on your iPad/phone) But this brought me to tears... the ending just the memories from when I was younger. I know this haven’t been updated but it’s a lovely game with all heart poured into it. I would love a sequel even though that probably won’t happen. ✓ Epic Game!!!!!This is the best game ever! I give it 6 stars! Although I would like more upgrades with like a big laser cannon or something! Or a nuclear lure that when you touch the screen the lure glows green and fish swim away from it! Could use fuel like chainsaw lure or other power source. A medieval cannon would be cool too or a Thor hammer which shoots lightning down from the sky and goes through fish so you can get a whole row of fish when they're up in the air! It would cost a ton of cash though. Could there also be a sharks head hat where it looks like its trying to eat the fishermans head. I forgot I think his name is Billy. ✓ Still Playable!This app needs an update for sure, but you can progress through the game. I am running an iPhone XS and have gotten far in this game. Issues: - Scaling: fish and fisherman are small - Backgrounds for phone / Fishopedia / Byrdr are unscaled (text is more readable in some of the locales than others depending on the different sky colors) - Money and gas meter are very small - Money meter is in the top middle of the screen instead of the far right - Shop screen is correct scale but the “buy/equip” button is invisible (you can still touch the area under the shop items, about 1/3 from the right, to buy things) - Store prices are partially obstructed by store items. (You can drag the first and second item columns down to better see the price) The game mechanics still work! With a little poking around on the store screen, you can buy things that you can afford and make progress. I am nearly finished with the game, in the endgame (5/6 achievements) and working on getting the expensive store items. ✓ Fun, but technically poorThis is a fun little diversion for a few minutes, and very reminiscent of old arcade games from the 1980s. There are two very big differences between those old 80s coin-ops and this though: 1- This uses horrible tilt controls. Why can't I just use touch controls? The tilt stuff is clumsy and doesn't really work. 2- The frame rate is low.
