✓ Worst app everThis app has left me waiting half an hour in the cold because it keeps telling me my ride is either 1) here in two minutes but doesn’t change when you’ve been standing outside for half an hour or 2) running outside frantically because it goes from “30 minute wait” to YOUR RIDE IS HERE NOW! Without any notice. It doesn’t let you contact the driver or they always drive off without you because you rather wait inside when t tells you it won’t be coming for awhile. I’d rather walk home....Version: 6.5.2
✓ Good when it worksHonestly it only needs a more reliable tracking system!! i have been cancelling rides bc it shows the driver is far awar only to get a “your ride is here” notification as soon as i cancel. the app is also very glitchy and not user friendly IMO.Version: 21.11.15
✓ App needs an update!The app is smooth running for the most part. However, it’d be extremely nice and helpful if the app had notification sounds or “pings” whenever the ride is outside. I’d also think it’d be very helpful if multiple stops could be added when there’s more than one person in the ride..Version: 19.12
✓ Everything about this app is horribleThrow the whole app away. Absolutely horrible. Times are never right. It stayed at 14 minutes away for 40 minutes. What is that? The drivers forget who they have in their car too. They will pick someone up and drive to the opposite side of town. Then drive back to where you’re supposed to be going. Straight trash. ✓ GOOD DRIVERS BUT BAD APPI’ve had so many times where I requested a ride and I missed it because the gps didn’t update. I would be waiting inside even when the car arrived at my place because the app stopped updating their position. When the app finally updated and notified me that the driver is here, they had already waited 5 minutes and left. And, on my history, it would say the reason for cancellation was NO SHOW when I WASNT AWARE OF THEIR ARRIVAL..Version: 19.11
✓ The app needs JesusI never thought an app could make me cry. The frustration of this app is on another level. I can’t believe my top tier university cannot afford to leverage a more reliable resource. -2 stars.Version: 6.5.7
✓ Technology should make things easierI've never had an app make me so frustrated before. Why is this so much more of a pain than just calling a taxi? Stupid. Maps glitch out and reset when you try to move them. Time predictions are inaccurate and rarely update. Selecting your pickup and drop off locations puts you at risk for an aneurism. Basically every function is done terribly.Version: 21.11.15
✓ Has potentialThe interface is promising. However, the buttons to enter in your destination are blocked a lot, and you have to sign in every single time you enter the app. Also, when you search for location, the suggested search options don’t appear anymore. I would appreciate if the developers fix this so I can call TapRide when it’s really late. Thanks for reading this..Version: 6.5.7
✓ Can’t even use itIt won’t even let me select my school, and no matter what i do it gives me the same no internet error. obviously i have internet, as i can post this, but i tried cellular data, wifi, both, on and off alternating, and nothing works..Version: 21.05.03
✓ Bug fixed where?Can’t schedule a new ride! Keeps telling me I boarded the car. Yea YESTERDAY. logging in and out doesn’t fix it. Reinstalling, updating doesn’t fix it. So frustrating.Version: 6.5.7
✓ WORST APP EVERThis app frustrated me so much that I was on the verge of TEARS. I was “#1” on the waitlist and it still took an hour for the ride to come get me and then the car picked up 3 other people at the same time and dropped them off before me even though I was first in line on the waitlist. That’s not even the most frustrating part about this app. The app literally said ARRIVED and the car was at my location and the car just LEFT. They didn’t even pick me up they went to go pick up more people and I had to wait 30 minutes longer. This app does not even deserve to exist. Whoever created this app is a complete idiot who doesn’t understand the terms of a waitlist or ARRIVED. I hope schools refrain from using this system because it is by far the worst thing ever created on this planet. I’ve learned my lesson to just Uber from now on because this is the first and last time I will ever be using this app again..Version: 6.5.2

✓ Bugs during update?This app is not really good at tracking the Vans or giving you any kind of knowledge of when your van will actually be arriving which is why my score is 2 stars but that aside the new update now logs me out everytime I close the app. I use the app at Texas Tech and it is extremely frustrating. it was decent before please fix..Version: 6.5.7

✓ TrashJust read some reviews. It's unbelievable that this app got no improvement at all in the past 2 years! Whether the driver can pick you up depends on luck. I was luckily picked up by a driver tonight, she complained to me all the way about this app. How come so many Universities are still using such a trash app in 2021? ✓ Terrible app. Super unreliableI work a closing shift and get off extremely late. It literally defeats the purpose to use the app because it takes over 40 minutes to pick you up. ✓ Extremely unreliableOver four years, this app has continued to barely function. So unreliable it often doesn’t work at all. The estimation of minutes away is an absolutely random generation. Sometimes I wait 40 min for a ride and then the app crashes and you have sign in to request a new one all over again. ✓ Waste of timeDo yourself a favor and don’t bother downloading this app. I don’t know how I am going to get around campus, but one thing is for sure - this app is not going to help. It’s garbage. Need to login each time. Try to schedule and get error messages that are incorrect (10am on a Tuesday that’s not a holiday is not “outside of service hours” and nor is it in the past) and that’s it. ✓ Unreliable 75% of the timeThe number of glitches this app has is way higher than the number of times it has worked. I tried downloading and deleting so many times but it never changes anything. Sometimes the arrival time continues to increase only to tell me the ride has been completed 30minutes later even though I haven’t even been picked up. Don’t know what the developers are thinking but this app needs some major improvement..Version: 19.8.1
