Argus: Step and GPS Tracker for Positive User Reviews

Enjoying using ArgusI have found that It has been very useful using the Argus App. Especially for the Number of steps..Version: 5.132

ArgusGreat app!! I use it daily, keep up the good work.Version: 5.116

Post OperativeI have just been discharged after major heart surgery and was recommended this app which I find extremely useful.Version: 5.196

TBGreat way of keeping track of steps throughout the day, without having to buy a special gadget or watch..Version: 5.236

Some bugs, but really worthwhileI really like Argus, and the social networking it provides. However, the activity tracking features which I love, continue to crash with use. It used to occur when I took a photo, but now frequently from the start. There are many apps that do parts of what Argus does, some better. But Argus manages to put the, all together in a single intergrated app with great social support from its own network..Version: 5.112

Brilliant little app!I have been using Argus for quite some time and can't be more satisfied. Highly recommended!.Version: 5.94

Loving it but...Been using the app for over 4 years! I have a brand new phone and the app doesn’t drain the battery nearly as much as it did on my previous phones! I really like being able to track water/coffee intake as well as steps and my sleep patterns!! I really like that you see all your tracked info in one place, very easy to see where you are just at a glance!! (Previous reviews below) Still drains the battery a lot, I've had to buy an external battery pack to have just in case which I have to use often. But, otherwise still loving it! Would get 5 stars if the battery issues get resolved! (Below is my previous review) I'm still learning the many uses but so far I'm loving being able to track my steps, water and coffee intake! I also really like that it maps my walks. It does wear on the battery a bit and a couple of times it made my battery life plunge to almost nothing in just a couple of hours or completely shut down while still at 30% battery life. All in all, I really love it!.Version: 5.154

Argus is greatEnjoy my daily challenge with argus. Sometimes it's just what I need to get off the couch beat my fellow competitors. I like the honeycomb visual of my day as it's easy to check in an instant. I've joined a challenge with ppl from all over the world and I like that too. Great fun!.Version: 5.09

Great app for pulling it all togetherNow that home kit seems to work with almost anything this not so little app is a great way to bring it all together in an easy to read format. I use it many times a day, just to let me know where I'm at, but can trust the app to work in the background just as well.Version: 3.16

Great app for standard diet exercise calculationsI started using Argus about a year ago. It works well for my needs. A couple of times there have been some glitches with the app. I emailed about it & got a quick response time about the issue at hand. I will continue using Argus it’s perfect for my needs. I have noticed lately however when I’m counting my steps something has shifted. Seems to be a bit of a delay logging steps, they are logged every 10 minutes. Which isn’t a big deal but just something I’ve noticed..Version: 5.196

ArgusWonderful experience with this app. I am using it since last 5 years. Love it! 😊😊😊.Version: 5.236

AutomaticExcellent and addictive.Version: 5.134

Needs a fasting dockOnly thing I would add, otherwise it does everything!.Version: 5.164

Argus the best programI have used Argus for over one year now mainly to tract total steps each day. It is a wonderful program and I have just signed up for the Premiere edition. I love this program..Version: 5.150

Sweet appGet it. You'll like it. Does what is says. No bugs that I've found. Interacts well with other apps. I'm happy!.Version: 2.12

Highly RecommendedI’ve been using the free version of this app for years and it totally does what I want it to do. I like tracking my daily steps and this does it. I also use some of the other functions such as heartbeat. Very user friendly, effective app..Version: 5.190

Not so happy ..anymoreLoved using this , until the other day, when somehow ,the next thing I knew I was getting charged $29. And some change ,for the app. Now I’m trying to get my money back, since the day it happened. Not exactly sure what happened? So many pop ups, may have accidentally pushed one, during my AM walk ?! I don’t have money to just throw around, I ant my money back. I’ve contacted Apple , they tell me it will take 30 days! I better get my money back!!!!!.Version: 5.218

Pretty swagIt tracks your steps in the background, measures your heart rate and tells you how much you've consumed! It's easy to use and just a nice way to not have no space in your homepage!.Version: 5.18

Could not rate this any higher.I have used this app every single day since the day I got it. It is amazing. Great visual design! Really fun and enjoyable to play with and update your activity. I really want a Fitbit Flex now so I can sync the two. Failing that I'm just using the app. The social side is encouraging and appealing. No one gets mad if all your status updates are about health and fitness and no one tries to convert you to their diet. Brilliant! Tracks really well although I think the Sleep Time app that goes with it could use a little work. I am really looking forward to any and all future updates and apps that they might partner with. It's basically an all in one fitness tracker in one, and if you have the Instant Fitness apps also it's the complete health package. They all intergrate really well together. The only downside to my constant use is the battery drainage, which is significant. I think this had been addressed with newer phones that have the M7 processor so I guess I just have to wait for my plan to run out and I can upgrade my phone. Seriously amazing app. Other than what I've already written, that's all I can say on the subject..Version: 2.22

Great appOne of the best app's I've come across..Version: 5.94

Almost perfectThis is app is so good it caused me to write my first ever app review. It’s literally been life changing and helped me track everything I’m eating as well as other analytics in an engaging way. I started losing weight after two weeks! HOWEVER, the user interface is confusing sometimes (needs to be clearer what hex belongs to which date). My sister, who doesn’t walk with her phone in her pocket like I do, doesn’t have her steps tracked and cannot manually enter steps taken. Also, there are some other minor issues involving accidental button presses which could be ironed out. Hopefully fixes for these will come soon, but overall this is a GREAT free app..Version: 5.132

Excellent app 5Use on a regular basis, as all the features that I need and use. No need to look anywhere else!.Version: 5.94

Does the jobFree version gives good basic functionality..Version: 5.332

Awesome - just need a Fitbit app to update more dataSince discovering Argus, Sleep Timer and Fitness Buddy I have become addicted to their apps. It pushed me into getting a Fitbit icon. Would give it 5* but I really wish there was a Fitbit app I could update drinks and take heart rate directly to Argus from. Love the workouts on Fitness buddy..Version: 5.150

KrystelLove the variety of activities that you can keep track of, and the interpretations the app offers. Very happy with the step counts and stand up test, and the suggestions the app offers for improving health..Version: 5.94

Use it dailyI have used it for 4 months now and been through a few version updates along the way, each bringing improvements and nice features. I love the integration with the heart rate and sleep apps and also getting my weight from Withings. Even though it was a bumpy ride sometimes with a few bugs, the support has been great and all bugs I reported were fixed quickly. Overall I recommend it highly for tracking activity and keeping yourself motivated to stay on target for a more healthy you..Version: 2.6

Very useful app for monitoring diet and exerciseThis app does almost everything I want. I do wish it had calorie counts for unbranded fresh foods and would put them at the top of the search list. Having branded foods in the list complicates a search unnecessarily and serves little purpose as you can always scan the barcode to get the nutritional data for almost all such foods. Having listings for chain restaurants can be useful, though, and Argus has those in spades..Version: 5.196

HappyNice way to track your fitness goals.Version: 5.140

Great appBeen using for almost a year now mostly for tracking steps daily, app works seamlessly running in the back ground tracking your steps I find it very motivating. Lots of other features but I haven't really needed them..Version: 3.24

Enjoying using the appI’m in my third day of using this and it’s easy to use. There is a lot of data to track you progress and what I especially like is how you can compare with the previous day and challenge yourself. Only problem is that when adding simple foods not meals it’s hard to do. You have to manually add the food and the calories that it contains. E.g Apple.Version: 5.140

It works.Been using it for a while now. Just hope it doesn’t go the same way as the heart rate app that’s forcing you to upgrade to paid for packages..Version: 5.132

BrilliantThis is a great app reminds me to do so many things and makes me want get out and about to achieve my goals..Version: 5.112

Syncing devicesI’m okay with your app. However my concerns lie around syncing with other apps. MyFitnessPal particularly. Your nutritional data base is not dense enough and doesn’t include most meals we in Nigeria eat. So I use MyFitnessPal for that and would love to sync ever data from there to Argus. Also including more analytics on exercise and fitness would be lovely. I’m using the trial version though so maybe all that is in the premium. Thanks team.Version: 5.146

Highly RecommendedI've been using this app for a long time now and really like the way it has brought me increasing and useful monitoring of health activities 24/7. The linking to sleep and heart rate are especially good - also step count, automatic run detection and voice coaching. I love the encouragement and sharing with others self-monitoring in countries all round the world - who become good friends. With groups and intercontinental challenges etc the ‘global village’ becomes a reality, and it’s very educational too! I wouldn’t want to be without this app! I mention the it to others when I can, especially those who wonder how on earth they can even start to get healthier!.Version: 5.118

YES!!!I drive transport and noticed I was gaining a bit much weight. This app if fantastic. I am paying more attention to where my calories are coming from, eating healthier, and have lost 6lbs in a month. Just discovered that it also tracks specific exercises that my knock off fit bit won’t. They have to be started and stopped manually, but all good, I’m that talented 😉 lol.Version: 5.206

Overall Great AppPros: you can set health goals such as how many steps a day you want to walk, how many calories a day you want to intake, how many glasses of water a day you want to drink, and it will remind you throughout the day to drink water etc. I love how this app has everything you need integrated into one app. I’m not sure how this isn’t the #1 rated health app! It’s way better than Fitness Pal. It has a fun feature to challenge a friend to see who can walk the most steps. You can scan barcodes to have nutrition info automatically entered. If you cook, you can create recipes to input nutritional info & save them for the future if needed again. If you go walking/running you can turn on the GPS to track where you walked. Just so many cool features, I could go on and on... Cons: There are some features that you have to pay for to access, such as only being able to manually enter calories but you have to pay for the subscription to enter the rest like carbs, protein & fat. You can scan a barcode of the food & it will show you everything including the carbs, protein & fat. But to enter a recipe manually, you don’t have access to that unless you pay the subscription. That’s the only thing I don’t like about this app..Version: 5.194

Good trackingI've used this for a couple of years and find it useful to keep me on track.Version: 5.38

Great AppThis is a great all round app, really motivating! I enjoy the challenges that you can have against friends.Version: 5.09

Excellent appA great app that I’ve been using for a few years for multiple sports. Would definitely recommend!.Version: 5.150

Good appReally great to keep track of runs and progress..Version: 5.34

Really good, just not greatI love the macro diet tracking capabilities, step counting, and sleep tracking of this app. Super helpful for living my low carb/Keto lifestyle. That’s the really good. The not great part is that tracking workout portion is terrible to use and is limited to the preloaded exercises which does not work for crossfit, home workouts, or really anything you might actually do. It is super cumbersome, limiting, and just not good for tracking workouts. I have to use other apps for this and it is annoying as heck. It needs to be more of an open forum workout tracker that can link previous exercises and workout then trend them with graphs or at least the ability to look back at what was done previously..Version: 5.210

Battery issueThis is a great tool other than it drains the battery much quicker than I expected..Version: 5.124

Great appI love this app, it's a great way to see everything happening in one screen.Version: 1.2

EasyAccurate and easy to use. Colour makes it useful. Add and hide the hexagons as you need. Steps shown in real time. Love hiding this app..Version: 5.144

Love it! Live it!The product is simple and effective. I wish there was some kind of automatic calorie intake monitor. Other than that. I loooovvvee ARGUS!!!!.Version: 5.128

Great AppI have used it for a few days and it has helped me out so far! And I will definitely keep using it!.Version: 5.214

5 starsBrilliant! It’s keeping me on track, so many features!!!.Version: 5.242

So impressed !!Ive been keeping a food diary and water count for the past 4-5months and ive lost 4kgs !! i didnt even pay for premium :) 100% recommend !!!! thank you argus ❤️.Version: 5.192

Love itI use it everyday to track my activity and my sleep. Love it, very accurate.Version: 5.164

'Tis good.Does what you'd expect and hope though I don't really use it enough I think. Visually one of the best around. Better when you've stopped notifications and if you weren't pestered to rate it so much 😁.Version: 5.94

HappyAwesome app... so easy to use and keep track.Version: 5.214

Happy userI have had heart surgery and Argus is a great way of making sure that I’m maintaining my level of exercise and that my heart rate is regular.Version: 5.214

Buggy upgradeThis versions new version seam to fix the problem. Well done guys!!!.Version: 3.14

Great App!I use this app every day and is a great way to track your fitness..Version: 5.238

Great AppGreat app easy to use love the step counter can see the amount with out opening up app great feature.Version: 5.148

Great, Free, Visual Health TrackerI’ve been using this app for about five years now and it’s awesome. It helps me to easily track weight gains and also physical activity. I love the fact that I can share my runs and activities with people that I am following or that are following me so it it’s a great motivational tool. It also stinks very well with The Apple health app and Apple Watch. I also love the tiles because you can hold down a tile and filter based on the tile you selected, I.E., number of steps, total water intake, bodyweight, caloric intake, etc. Are use other apps to track my work out so it’s not necessary for me to purchase the premium; however, I would purchase the premium app if the price point was different… Meaning a lot lower. Other apps such as my fitness pal and my work out allow me to track my workouts and also my calorie intake when it comes to meals, so it’s not really necessary for me to purchase the premium version. The basic free application is one of my favorite Apps, paid or unpaid..Version: 5.152

Great appI have this app running all the time & use many of the modules. What I would like to see added is a medications module that you can add meds to and reminds about when to take / check off when taken, etc..Version: 5.196

4 1/2 stars! The app is great. If it was possible, I would have given it 4 1/2 stars.I like how it offers workout plans, daily challenges, and the stand up testing. It is capable of adding pictures of food, and displays all of your information in a fun format. I also LOVE the articles that are posted daily. It is probably the most elaborate app I’ve been able to utilize, and would definitely recommend people paying the money to have the upgrades. The only thing I dislike about it is adding food. It doesn’t allow me to add whole meal options at once, and took a little bit longer. It also doesn’t allow you to change the serving size measurement for all your items, and I haven’t quite figured out how to create my own items just yet, but sure I’ll get to it. Either way, I have absolutely recommended this to people and think it’s a fantastic app..Version: 5.146

WowSo one of my 2019 resolutions was to be healthier. This included daily workouts (mostly yoga and pilates), drinking more water, and eating healthier. I started my working out and was seeing amazing results but wanted to try a calorie tracker to track my diet. (I’m a snacker and it’s a problem.) This app has so many things on there it makes keeping track of calories SO EASY! I especially love that it keeps track specifically of things like protein intake too. This also has a water tracker which is nice. I’m seriously impressed with this app and I might even get the premium version since it’s less than $3 a month. Amazing app and can’t wait to use it and keep track of my progress over the next couple months! Also, the overall design of this app is BEAUTIFUL! Like how it can read your heartbeat?! And the water level thing swooshes back and forth depending on the tilt of your phone. It’s little stuff like that that really makes this app fun and special..Version: 5.166

Deleting malfunctioningHad this since 2016. Use it daily. It’s been full of glitches lately. Opening with the icons so big you can’t view them whole selection off icons. All updates are current. iOS is current although Apple updates are awful and they’ve ruined battery life. Greed all the way around. Can not even contact the developer because that link is bogus and leads to downloading something else. Unbelievable. Not just frustrating but now becoming a royal pain..Version: 5.218

My guide that got me in shapeWhen I planned to lose weight, I searched the App Store for an app and found Argus the most easiest and interesting among all others. Thanks to argue I was able to keep track of my calorie count daily and was able to plan my runs / walk to hit my goal. I was able to shed 20kg after 5months of diligent running. There are of course some improvement that I hope will be in the next update i.e. Calorie Calculator, Gym weight training etc. Overall, I'm very pleased with Argus. Great job and keep up the good work.Version: 5.34

Needs improvementI have been using this app for a week now. Its great with counting calouries that I consume. Makes me really conscious about what I eat. However, few downsides. Ingredients that I use in recipes dont get saved into my database, I have to search them every time. The only way to add the ingredient is to add it to a meal. But if I only want to add it but not to actually eat it at the time, I have to remove it from breakfast or lunch, and it gets removed from database. Quite frustrating it is. Also, the app is connected to my Health app that in return is connected to my Apple watch. But I still dont get readings on my workout, only the steps. Although, even steps are not correctly recorded, at least half of them are missing🧐 Otherwise fairly happy with it..Version: 5.214

Great appUse it every single day. Part of my daily support routine. Love it..Version: 3.28

Fit not Fat!This is a great app, helps me count my daily steps and helps with general fitness. I also like the weather pictures! I’ve been using Argus for two years now..Version: 5.214

Awesome productGreat app for tracking walking, jogging, bike etc. not fused about the up sell. Also great to have a pulse check built in.Version: 5.188

Argus is letting me down. When I first downloaded this app I thought it would be the end all be all and a free app to boot.... after using it continually for nearly two years the bugs and lack of developer response is really pushing me to rethink keeping it. The occasional notice that the app closed itself wasn’t a hassle but the update before last really tested my patience... This morning I see that there’s is an update waiting and a “fix”.... updates annnndd... no same warning popped up twice in five minutes. I really had faith in Aarhus and even bought the scale which works awesome and gives a lot of good useful metrics but it’ll be useless with out the app... I used to highly recommend this app but now.....Version: 5.192

Everyday motivater!!Intrigued by the amount of steps I take everyday. I push myself to reach my goal as well as battle against my friend to see who can do more! Would love it if there was walking routes you can save to make is easier to enter. Can't wait to see what the future holds for Argus!.Version: 3.20

Amazing fitness appThis app is really a great place to track everything I need. My goals are to keep note of my eating habits, make sure my water intake is high and log workouts. Argus is a great platform for fitness and logging just about everything you can think of. One nitpick I have with the app is the moving hexagons while updating. The design is interesting but there is a gulf of execution when trying to update items like coffee or water. Please add muscle mass % to the body weight log! Not many apps let you track how much muscle gains you’ve made, and this is the only feature I’m lacking in this app..Version: 5.148

Looking forward to more developmentUseful, accurate app; I hope in the future it will be able to capture more data from other applications, including historic runs from Nike, for example..Version: 3.10

Great for holding yourself accountableThe app works great for counting calories once you get used to navigating its functions. The food database is a bit messy, but thorough; you just need to scroll through the list to find what you're looking for, though there seem to be many repeats for basic foods with some variations in calorie counts, so it's hard to know what to pick. A "frequently eaten" list might be a nice addition for saving every day foods; though the foods you input are saved in a master list, it gets kind of long after a while and it would be nice to have a shorter list of foods you consume often. The app offers workouts and exercise tutorials, but I haven't yet figured out to input your own workouts and figure those calories burned into the daily count. That might be doable, but if so that feature isn't an obvious one while navigating. All other features work well, and the price of an annual Premium subscription is better than similar apps. Overall, I'm enjoying using Argus!.Version: 5.94

Great app, very well designedAmazing app.Version: 5.94

Great! This app really keeps me focused on what and when I am eating. Other apps are quite cumbersome to log meals and search but the simple layout of this app makes it soooo much easier. Really enjoying it so far and it's working!.Version: 5.94

Brilliant app but needs some tweaksI used the free version of this app for 6 months before going all in for the premium version. This app is brilliant and covers everything I need on my weight loss journey. My only real issues are: 1. that it’s buggy in that I keep getting reminders about not logging water or food when I have. 2. There’s no way to set which types of notifications you want to receive 3. There’s no function for clearing cache as it appears that workouts are stored on the device 4. It doesn’t sync with Nike app If they could fix those then it’ll be 5 stars for me.Version: 5.166

AwesomeLove it.Version: 5.166

Great appReally handy app. I use it constantly. Great to see meal plans added! Doing that without charging or making a separate app. Top stuff!.Version: 5.94

Excellent app but very buggy current versionI have used and loved Argus since October 2014, and have long paid for the premium version. One of the app’s best features is Equivalent Active Minutes, which converts all the activities monitored — in my case, walking and running — into metabolically equivalent minutes, with more intense activities translating to more EAMs than the same amount of time spent doing a less intense activity. Sadly, the last few months, this feature has been misfiring, with the app not accurately recording the EAMs for walking. The developers need to fix this pronto..Version: 5.196

Rating five star!!!Impressed with design and coverage. Excellent support from others!!! Each day people will encourage You!!! It's the best way to get back into a fitness regime... believe me I'm 66!!! The exercise routines recommended Are a must!!! And remember never give up & Jesus Loves you!!!.Version: 5.124

ArgusLove the app Except the food data base is very limited I would scan something by barcode and it won’t seem to recognise it.. Search for it same thing nothing can comes up... I have to use my fitness pal in conjunction with Argus because it has more range of food...Version: 5.134

Fitness firstA great app for keeping your fitness programme ready at hand. Keeps you up to date of all the targets you’ve set for yourself..Version: 5.116

Does what it saysThis app does everything you want it to and nothing you don’t. Unlike some other exercise trackers it’s super reliable and never mucks up. It’s intuitive and easy to use..Version: 5.242

Keep ActiveI was advised to be more active by my Dr after some health scares. I am not a fitness fanatic (75) but it records my activities, just what I wanted. Tried other apps and I have stuck with this one..Version: 5.188

Scully deserves betterAmazingly reliable!.Version: 5.136

Great for walkingI really enjoy using argus to measure my walkabouts..Version: 5.164

Works really well :)When I used this app, it was working like I wanted it to, it also does what it says. I thought this app was really bad for me but when I tried it out it worked out really well..Version: 5.166

GreatVery helpful 👌🏻.Version: 5.116

ReviewI luv this app it always keeps me on track.Version: 5.206

Easy to UseWorks great and easy to use.Version: 5.166

Awesome app but....I love this app because of it’s all-in-one design and integration with the other azumio apps. However, I use an Apple Watch to track my steps but there doesn’t seem to be an option to have argus track steps ONLY from my Apple Watch and not my phone. This is somewhat of a dealbreaker for me simply because there are situations where I can’t always have my phone on me, thus I miss out on tracking steps. Also, I cannot import my heart rate that my watch tracks, nor does it seem to import heart rate from Apple health, even though it is synced properly. I really enjoy the azumio apps and hopefully I will get to see better Apple Watch integration..Version: 5.112

Interesting. Something differentWould be better if it integrated with myfitnesspal just because I also use that. But I like the visual. I like the reminder tiles based upon what you have previously done. Interesting..Version: 3.1

Evolving AppIn the beginning this app linked to LifeCoin. Then it didn’t. In the beginning this app liked to my meditations through Waking Up or through the Apple Health app. Then it didn’t (I log meditations manually). There are such better calorie counter/recipe apps out there than Calorie Mama and as far as photo AI for food or searching for food in a restaurant- forgetabodit. That said, I’ve paid my dues for the other apps, the nutritionists and the personal trainers so I’m not new at this, so I appreciate the fact that this app syncs flawlessly with my Azumio health scale and gives me a social network option of nice folks who encourage me. This app is clearly figuring out what it wants to be when it grows up. In the meantime I’ll work around its limitations and wait for its developers to get the recipe right. (Calorie Mama needs some serious help in the recipe department.) TJ’s is a good concept that could be great. Link to Sam Harris’ Waking Up Course and LifeCoin..Version: 5.192

Great after able to sync with apple watchUsed this app for years since i had my fitbit now with my apple watch. always put in a challenge with my family. that’s pretty much i use though..Version: 5.196

Quit 24/7 location sharing! Why does this wretched app share my location constantly, using up my battery, when I have it set to “never”? One must suspect there is some nefarious reason. Nonstop location sharing only began recently, and it has quickly become the app’s most negative feature - dwarfing even the continuous ridiculous attempts to up-sell the premium version. (Psst, Azumio: a better way to sell premium subscriptions is by eliminating flaws like location-sharing. You must have all your staff working nonstop on new up-sell ads. Barf!).Version: 5.136

Mostly goodThere’s a lot of things I like about this app. I like that it gives you some nice visuals about your progress, that you can easily scan a barcode to add an item to the food choices, and that it integrates with other health apps. What is confusing to me is that they give you a choice of meal planning, but your choice isn’t reflected in your ratio of consumed calories. For instance, I picked the Keto meal plan, however when counting my daily calories it still recommends more carbs than protein or fat. If there is a way to adjust that to reflect the Keto diet that maybe I’ve missed, please let me know. I will gladly give 5 stars when this issue is resolved!.Version: 5.242

Almost perfectSo far this is my favorite health and meal tracking app, the only thing it needs is to be able to record what time I've eaten my meals. If you're on an intermittent fasting or other diet where the timing of your meals is important, this app won't help you. It should be a simple thing to add and I hope the developers will make this feature available in the future. It would also be great if we could add custom updates for things that aren't listed, such as meditation time, light therapy time, body measurements and other things that aren't offered already..Version: 5.196

GreatShame you have to pay for the full app but can still be used as a guide had to drop a star for that reason you lose a lot.Version: 5.196

Good app, but could be betterIt’s a good app, but there are several changes that could make it better. - Prompts to get premium are annoying. I am just never going to do it. Instead give me a cheaper option to just eliminate it and adds. - frequently used apps are displayed on main screen with option to add (good). Yet, I weigh myself almost daily & it never shows up. Why? - often, I start an activity (walk, hike), then forget to stop it, get in my car & drive off. First, if I am “hiking” and suddenly going 50mph, it should figure out I am no longer hiking. Or, least let me go back later & terminate the activity at an earlier point. - the auto run feature is useless. It drains the battery., and doesn’t let me say when the run stopped. When I go for a run, I usually walk a short distance, then start running. Getting my phone out to start run is a pain. So, I would prefer an auto start feature for my run. Then, I can say auto start during my walk, and just start running when I am ready. Then, stop the run when I am done. - stopping any activity takes too many steps. GoodCan't complain though I don't use the calorie count.Version: 5.66

Happy and closer to my goal!I love this app! I’ve always considered myself fit and health conscious but argus has really helped me with portion control and getting motivated to reach those daily targets, wether it’s drinking enough water or exercising! It’s awesome..Version: 5.162

Nice cuppa anyone? It is interesting to see how far I walk just doing general chores. I would like provision for adding when I drink tea or milk and not just coffee and water . I agree with this comment. Yea is a common beverage in Australia and England. Cheryl..Version: 5.422

Great appBeen using this for over two years great app for recording your training I use it for walking, running, rowing and cycling!.Version: 5.94

Good but uses up batteryAlso wish it allowed you to make more specific goals and had a bar or something showing how you could reach it ie. Run 365km in 2015.Version: 3.10

Great app! Until Recent UpgradeI have been using this app for several years, and I have had no complaints. However, after upgrading to IOS 13 the Azumio scale will no longer connect to the iPhone via Bluetooth. Now, there is quite a bit of data that I can no longer capture in the fitness app. The scale is my only device that stopped working after the upgrade. Obviously, I am not a happy camper because the my only reason for purchasing the scale was it’s connectivity with the iPhone app. I don’t know why it will not connect but, please fix it, soon. Signed long time loyal customer..Version: 5.206

Argus Fitness AppI have been on Argus for 4 1/2 years, and it has literally changed my life. When I first got on Argus, I had been sick for almost 5 years and was confined to my bed for around six hours every day. I started using Argus to motivate and track myself to walk every day. Today, I sometimes walk 20 miles/day. Also, I have progressed to the point of doing workouts, some including using dumbbells and kettlebells. One of the greatest aspects of Argus is the interaction you get to have with people all around the world. I have made some of the best friends I have ever had, and I’ve been blessed to meet some of them, and there are some that I talk to almost on a daily basis. The only negative thing I can say about it is that some people like to treat it as a dating site, and/or some people take inappropriate pictures of themselves. It does so much more, but if you choose to buy it, you will quickly come to love it as much as I do!.Version: 5.128

Great except addsGreat except adds love the tracking of walks with map.Version: 5.116

ExcellentBy far the best app which integrates everything! Please remove the constant annoying preimum ads, that's not going to encourage us to get it.Version: 5.94

TVery good app.Version: 5.128

Simple, easy...I just wished "premium" were a tad less expensive..Version: 5.122

Effective!Honestly, it’s a good app. It keeps track of you and sends you reminders so that you’re reaching your daily goals that you’ve set for yourself. When logging workouts, it’s REAL easy. Plus chances are, no matter what you’re doing, they have a selection you can pick so you’re getting a relatively accurate calorie burning count for that workout. If you want the meal prep option, then you need to get premium. If you’re one of those a people who really need an outline to stick to or else you’ll get side tracked, then I would recommend getting the premium version. Otherwise, I’m sure you’ll be okay without it!.Version: 5.166

AwesomeEverything what you need to track your weight and stay focused on your goals..Version: 5.330

Good butI wish we could try some of the premium features jus to see what those features do and what they’re like to know whether or not if it’s a good investment. It’s too costly to take a punt on, at least for me. But the free service is great for what it offers.Version: 5.150

Love it but...I live in New Zealand and most of the food I try to scan using the barcode scanner don't register in the app. Kinda frustrating when you wanna know how many calories are in your favourite kiwi treats..Version: 5.66

Great way to keep track of your healthGreat app, not many bugs.Version: 5.94

Great appHighly recommend, keeps you on track and lets you know once you reach a goal.Version: 2.10

Great app !!!Great app, after some setup adjustments daily in use. Highly recommended..Version: 5.94

Good app but lacking with watchHi i really like this app - i find the barcode food section very limited and also the main issue i have is that the app does not import my daily steps from the apple health app - i use my apple watch to record steps as i dont carry my phone with me all the time yet the only steps argus logs are ones made with my phone. My fitness pal can bring in all of my steps from the apple health app and has a massive database of barcodes ( everything i've scanned so far is recognised) - but i prefer the interface of argus so am disappointed that it just cant keep up at this stage - also a kilojoules option instead of calories would be good for aussie users - keep improving it and i will come back.Version: 5.09

Happy for what I wantThis free app gives me the data that I want from walking and running. Quite happy..Version: 5.94

Good AppA little confusing but a great idea..Version: 5.152

Argus - really good appI have just started using Argus to monitor my calorie intake and burn. Definitely rate it. My steps are monitored on my iPhone device already and Argus picks these up and converts into calories burned. Having to find the calories for each meal is tricky as the app is American and I’m in the UK, but it can work. The home page is a bit cluncky, don’t need as many hexagons as there are, but it’s good to have a reminder to drink more water. Would definitely rate this app.Version: 5.206

Great appUse it everyday tracking my bike rides. I like how simple the interface is b.Version: 2.10

Argos is GreatWe use the app only for counting the number of paces we do. It works great and is very accurate but simple to use. Particularly as it’s free My overall view is that it’s a fantastic piece of kit. Why not add on a satnav like WAYS to the walking/ jogging app?.Version: 5.238

The best app fitness app everThis app is great I use it every day , work , gym Walking just great keeps me on track specially because of the type 2 diabetics. Thank you Argus.Version: 5.94

Love itSuch a diverse and amazing app. Not sure if diverse is the word but it I believe it is. I love this app. Only thing my basal is probably off by abut after calculating it but it's amazing.Version: 3.28

ArgusAccurate, efficient and caring without being overbearingly obtrusive in my busy daily existence. Easy to manage too. I am on only the most basic model, with is just perfect for my needs. Easy to recommend - in fact my friend asked me how to procure it also for her IPhone, but that seemed a bit beyond my immediate abilities at that time so she is still waiting! Thank you, Argus, for supplying me with a brilliant insight into my daily physical activities..Version: 5.116

Great improvement to my life!I have this app since August 2020. I was unhappy with my image and having a daily tracker of what you eat helped A LOT! It is a little of work to log everything, but it was the only way to realize what was wrong with my previous diet. In the first 6 months I lost 20 pounds. I stopped using it in the last 4 months but I didn’t get weight, now I know what is healthier for my body. I’m planning now to lose the last 10 pounds. I know Argus is the solution :) I used the free version! It was enough. I would rate Argus 6 stars if possible, thank you!.Version: 5.332

Great appVery good all-round app to record your daily actions. Well presented and easy to navigate..Version: 2.8.63

Great appLove this app I like the step counter the food list is improving only wish when you complete at the end of the day it let you know if you ate like this for next 5 weeks would lose x amount.Version: 5.124

AwesomeNice and simple, does what it says..Version: 5.94

Another reason to not leave the house without our phones.Uncounted steps bring on a sense of loss and an unmonitored night’s sleep is mourned as a missed opportunity to understand how we actually did sleep and in what pattern it happened. My partner and I can see one another’s step counts in real time and she and a few of her friends pretend to compete - just for fun. Yeah sure ;0). If this app is even half as good at monitoring bio-feedback as it seems to be, it may not change your life but it’s certain to make some interesting changes to it..Version: 5.196

Excellent service everThey are a great deal with it. You won't be disappointed. I did enjoy this workout and meal plan as well..Version: 5.242

Very goodGreat app, just wish the weather tile displayed in Celsius while keeping the other measurements in US units (e.g. lbs). This is preferable in Canada. Otherwise awesome..Version: 5.196

Fantastic appI’ve used Argus for years, but only just upgraded to Premium. Between the challenges and step counter, I really thought I was getting everything I needed out of Argus. Boy, was I wrong... It’s worth upgrading to Premium - you get more insights for your buck and it really makes an impact on achieving goals. I always appreciate the information given in the articles, and how Argus tracks my sleep habits - a major factor for me in changing my weight. I highly recommend Argus, even if you only start out with the standard version. If you’ve got the funds, go with Premium. You won’t regret it!.Version: 5.146

Iam still learning all its featuresA great guide to keeping you in track . Is there a support contact number to ask a few questions about what the app can and can not achieve ..Version: 5.124

Total crash out. Can’t contact developer. After updating to latest Keynote (10.1), Azumio crashes out on opening. Tried everything. Restarting phone (three times), deleting and reinstalling app (twice). Tried to contact developer via website but message fails every time. Hoping somebody from the team will read this!.Version: 5.242

Great App for tracking your fitnessGreat application for keeping you fit and healthy..Version: 5.112

UPDATED: Purchased premium but did not receive the premium contentUpdated: emailed support and a few days later they emailed back to advise they enabled the premium features. Happy with the response. subscribed at the annual rate but the app’s premium content doesn’t display. I checked the FAQ and the steps suggested there don’t help, nor has support responded to my email. This is my second time trying to use this app over the last two years- shame on me for trying a second time after being fooled once..Version: 5.166

Food addNot very easy.Version: 5.188

Love itI love how the app is presented. ☺️.Version: 5.242

Worth having a look into and using.Very good application, been using such for years now. Everything is at my fingertips, efficient and easy to use. Recommended..Version: 5.358

Argus 👍I really love this app!! I love how u can see your heart rate and u can write in your cups of water. 👌👌it’s a really good app and I recommend it ♥️♥️.Version: 5.164

ManselGreat Ap reminds me to get moving.Version: 5.124

Devices and AppsWhile I love using Argus, Argus doesn’t sync with Garmin. Due to this, my steps aren’t tracked unless I carry my phone with me everywhere I go. Not ideal. I’ve also found their preset calorie amounts to be off. The Quick Add feature has been helpful with this..Version: 5.416

MucendraA very good app which really prompts oneself to control not only what - but also how much - he or she eats. It helps - among other things - to keep track of the details of the macronutrients consumed each day. BUT - there’s one issue that bothers me. In time, I realized I’m not sure if the Vitamin C calculations (and so, may be, other nutrients as well) are reliable. . Just about 2 mg of this vitamin given for one whole orange. Definitely a BIG mistake and wrong guidance for users here, that must be corrected.Version: 5.136

Good to knowGives a great review of all aspects of the activity - provided I remember to activate it..Version: 5.236

GrandyLike the app for "keeping track" of a variety of activities that used to get guessed at ( and over estimated). Post surgery it's been great to track progress/return to fitness. I use it daily. Played well with my Fitbit til it died.Version: 5.94

Top app!Easy to use.Version: 5.118

Get your exercise groove going!I stumbled upon Argus several weeks ago while I was searching for an exercise app on my iPhone. It has since become my running and walking companion. I use it daily to track my runs and walks. It has helped me to set distance and time goals, and checking where I am at with respect to my goals. I am sure there is a room for improvement especially with the rising competition in exercise tools as in the yesterday announce apple watch. All I would say is good job and keep improving it. Thanks Fasil.Version: 2.26

Why no Heart Rate? You’ve taken away the HR monitor. Why? It’s what I used the most. Now will have to look to replace app..Version: 5.412

ArgusAwesome app.Version: 5.152

Covers the basicsGood for tracking excercise, sleep & coffee, water intake. I mainly use it for tracking my cycling and time spent in gym classes. I'm not interested in sharing so the prompts to do so get a bit annoying as do the ads. But I'm not interested doing more sharing via Premium. So grateful for the free app..Version: 5.422

Very nice appExcelent, but price for premium is too high. I could pay 10usd per year like I pay for others apps avarage..Version: 5.138

Recent ProblemsI have been using Argus very happily for at least 5.5 years. I use it to track steps, distance, as well as blood pressure, glucose, weight and pulse. Recently after about 7,000-8,000 steps, it stops registering. This has been happening for a few months. When I reach 12000-13,000 steps, I get a congratulations notice but no change on the numbers and distance on the screen. Frustrating! I do nothing to play with the app. Please fix it or I will unhappily try to find something else. Arnie Fine.Version: 5.196

Useful app, HealthKit integration would helpIt's a useful app that does some of the things that extra hardware like the Nike band, etc does (but does better) but what do you expect. As a cheap alternative it does give you an idea if you would actually find something like that useful and motivating or just another expensive thing that ends up in the junk drawer. This app would get a higher rating if there weren’t the constant nagging to do the in app purchases (“Go Premium”) bit I guess they have to make money somehow. It is currently worth the irritating nagging..Version: 5.124

Great appBeen monitoring my health/activity/diet etc for a while now and only just discovered Argus. It’s great to have it all in one place and it’s pretty extensive - compared to others (a bit lacking for females specifically but it’s not alone) - and easily customisable. Will use it for a long time to come!.Version: 5.162

Amazing Integration!Love it that you become a Premium user of one app and you are instantly Premium of all the other apps! That is awesome. Thanks.Version: 5.242

So far, so good! It's been very easy and intuitive so far. No bugs..Version: 5.22

All in one health archiveKeep track of workouts, heartrate, sleep duration and analysis, meals, runs, heaps more stuff all in the one timeline and most of it automatic! Loving it!.Version: 3.30

Great MotivatorI use this program regularly for everything from walking to commute and of course to watch my rating and drinking habits.Version: 5.06

Top notchExcellent information provided with helpful hints to improve..Version: 5.194

Love this app. Deffo recommend to everyone xxI love this app as it keeps track of everything so it helps me lose weight I definitely recommend this app to everyone who wants to lose weight or for people who can’t afford a fit bit. As it keeps track of how many steps you take and you can check your heart rate which is just brilliant and it has loads of other things as well, this app has definitely helped me and loads of my friends and family..Version: 5.116

MUST HAVE APP!!!My iPhone 5S feels complete with this Motion Tracking App. I've started having a habitual approach towards using it daily..Version: 2.8.66

ArgusA great app, the only thing I don’t like is the way other adds pop up which is annoying..Version: 5.190

BrilliantWonderful app.Version: 5.148

StepsEvery day record of activity is great plus the cumulative totals you can get..Version: 5.94

Very good appEasy to use and connects readily to other apps. Recommend.Version: 5.94

Awesome app. Some recent bugs.Overall this has been a great app for all-in-one fitness tracking with lots of functionality at the free level. Highly recommend it. However, the most recent update seems to have some bugs in the calorie tracker, with difficulty getting food entries to log and then phantom calories showing on the main display that don’t show in detail view. This has only been a problem since the most recent update. I tried unsuccessfully to find a way to report in app support. Hopefully this will be corrected in the next update. Still an awesome app - thanks!.Version: 5.162

Excellent, easy to use app :)I use it everyday!.Version: 5.94
