Argus: Step and GPS Tracker for Negative User Reviews

Too many permissions required...I had this app recommended for getting my heart rate but on installation it wanted every permission under the sun so I gave up. Basic functionality should not be held to ransom if I don't want the developer to have access to my location at all times....Version: 5.66

Needs to track fruits and veggiesI loved this app. However, with the last update they won't let you see all the nutritional info of your food unless you pay for the premium. I think they should have at least kept this. I was keeping track of my potassium intake and miss that info now that it's gone in free version. I would no longer recommend this app because of that, only because it seems basic to allow you to see all the nutritional information. I would like a graph to keep track of my veggie and fruit amount to see if I am getting enough..Version: 5.124

I have been using this app for about 4 yearsAnd recently upgraded to the premium version. I must say it is not worth the money paid. They said it would track more nutrients but it really doesn’t only the macros and then very few vitamins. Also doesn’t recognize most of the bar codes I scan in. I paid money to input data for the company? I also bought the smart scale. I hope that wasn’t a mistake too but my 13 year old scale just doesn’t seem trust worthy anymore. But we shall see. Please add more foods to the registry and more nutrition tracking. I must admit that I do love that the app tracks my water, coffee, steps, calories and all for free. But not impressed with the few extra things you get for the money like more custom work out slots and recipes..Version: 5.242

Needs workI’ve been a premium subscriber for about 5 years now. I’ve started paying more attention to the macro breakdown when logging & I see there are inconsistencies. Today I created a recipe & tried to log one serving, it was telling me that one serving was far over what it should be. I deleted my entry & with NOTHING logged it is telling me I am over my goal calories as well as each macro. I went back to a previous day with no entry, logged my meal, & it entered everything correctly. Now though, my weekly insight I’m supposed to send to my coach will be incorrect..Version: 5.358

Horrific overreach of our privacyI am not using this app anymore after taking the time to read the Privacy Policy linked in the App Store. This is one of the worst privacy policies I have ever read. Your sensitive data are shared with many third parties for various purposes. If the company declares bankruptcy, your privacy data may be sold as an asset. Remember, health data is extremely private, and when this much detail about your health is compiled and shared with so many other companies, you’ve basically lost control of your privacy. There’s no way to immediately know the ramifications of letting your privacy be shared like an asset with umpteen others, and I highly doubt that they will be able to truly restrict and control their third parties’ use of your data. HARD PASS. I will not support companies that use my very personal info for their gain..Version: 5.358

Okay app, but not greatI got this app to integrate with my lifetrak but it only does it kinda. It barrages you with ads for other stuff like scales and I can't find an unadsupported version to pay for, I can't remove anything that I accidentally put in, it drains the battery of my iPhone, I can't adjust the sensitivity of my lifetrak by getting rid if steps I didn't take etc, the diet tracker is half there and doesn't integrate with any of the other decent diet tracker apps, I can't get rid of an ad for personalised training on the timeline, it wants me to add my heart rate even though that info is syncing from my lifetrak and the weight tracking is clunky and doesn't integrate or have goals etc. Not amazingly impressed by this app. The fitbit app is a little better, although I like the lifetrak watch much better..Version: 2.8.67

Heart Rate Monitor has stopped working.Disappointed as I pay for this app annually. When I’ve mentioned this no response. Usually it would be a five star app as records everything I need..Version: 5.414

Awkward and difficult to use trackerI’ve been using the premium version of this app for a little less than a month and I have to say I hate it. Entering in my daily meals is cumbersome and the database itself is often inaccurate. The camera feature (which is one of the main reasons I chose this app) rarely works and is worthless. For instance, when I took a picture of mashed potatoes the app suggested they were a plate of cauliflower. Arugula salad was green beans. Whole meal pictures are worse. There are also things that are irritating with the app. Like constantly seeing an ad for Argus’ scale even though I have a premium account. The camera screen blocking out the menu buttons when first starting the app, and even the included recipes are junk. Lastly, be very careful when purchasing a subscription with this company. I chose the 1 year subscription and immediately hated the app. Apple would not refund my money even though Argus’ terms state I had 14 days to change my mind. Once you subscribe you’re stuck. There are much better apps with more accurate and user friendly databases. I suggest you avoid Argus with a ten foot pole..Version: 5.154

Good but room for improvementI love the interface on this app. I like the way it’s so easy to add foods and activities and get an overview of how the day is going but there are a few issues. The app no longer works with heart rate monitors. I’ve tried five different brands now and none have been detected. For those of us in the UK, if would be helpful to have a hybrid units option. I’d like to be able to measure my weight in kilograms but have distance measured in miles but this does not seem to be possible. More British foods in the database would be nice too.Version: 5.242

Battery hog! This app is a battery hog. I don't like having to keep plugging the phone in and leaving it docked instead of tracking my activity. I use my phone for my business and the amount of battery required to run it for this app is a big inconvenience. I paid for the premium app and have requested a refund after trying it, but the link and request have gone unanswered. I quit using the app the last several days and my phone is back to normal. I gave in and bought a Fit bit and it has most of the same features and an app that doesn't drain my battery. Come to find out, I easily get 10,000 steps in. Just need something better to track with. I wish I hadn't spent the money on this app and the glowing reviews didn't reflect my experience. Should have stuck with the freebie version as they don't provide a refund if you're not happy with it..Version: 5.134

Has potentialThis app has a ton of potential, however the food database is a mess and there are a lot of inaccurate data. Because of this I stopped using it, they need to make sure when a person uploads info it’s verified. What’s the point of tracking if the info isn’t accurate. Hope this improves, but until then I’ll use a different free app. To bad a bought all the Argus apps :( and don’t even use them anymore..Version: 5.142

Sleep trackerGreat app however for the past two days when tracking my sleep i cant view/access the button that allows you too end the alarm in the morning :( keeps me from being able to view my sleep data because i have to restart my app so instead it gets wiped... hopefully theres a fix coming for that soon because ive been using this app for at least a year and really enjoy being able to track the things it usually allows me to.Version: 5.132

A Potential Game Changer w a critical weak spotThis could be the app that knocked every other comprehensive health app out of the running - if only it’s good journal wasn’t so limited and wildly inaccurate... 4 oz of salmon is registered as having 36calories OR 100calories OR 245 calories. This is just for a generic entry of “salmon” and none of the individual data has any mention of different ways of cooking etc. additionally many if not most of the entries are ambiguous portion sizes (1 serving?!). What good is a health app whose food journal is so all over the place and inaccurate! Once one of these good journals are willing to put in the time to actually record ACCURATE food nutritional value all these apps - from fitness pal to this one is ripe for a disruptive that actually gets it right!! I wish it was Argus since they have so many other great features..Version: 5.124

Bugs need fixing!!I really like the concept and interface of this app but there are a few things that need to be fixed. You cannot turn the alarm off in sleep time. It just automatically goes to snooze a bunch of times and it is super annoying! I tried switching things in settings to “simple off” but there wasn’t even an option for that! The only way I can turn it off as of now without pressing snooze is to turn my phone off. Please please fix this. I would love to be able to use this option on the app, but it’s too annoying. And plus it won’t track my sleep. The other thing that needs tweaking is there needs to be more verified calories for simple things like chicken breast or an apple. The numbers are all over the place. Some calories it’s like “chicken breast 3 oz 20 calories” or it says for the same thing 140 calories or 250 calories. So which is it?.Version: 5.136

Argus Activity App ReviewGreat App. Very easy to capture water, caffeine, calorie, exercise, work out sessions (and more) intake and activity each day. Interfaces via Bluetooth with most "Fitbit" type gadgets. A couple of minor irritations like the water button moves each time you open the app so you have to wait for it to stop moving before you can press it to increment consumption counter. No longer lets you generate any reports of your activity for export off your phone unless your subscribe to the Premium upgrade. This is disappointing as I like to export and review "my stuff" on my other devices from time to time. But otherwise very pleased with this App and have used it daily for past year or more..Version: 5.18

What happened to Blood Pressure!I’ve been using Argus since 2014 and have been very pleased with the app, BUT now I can no longer track my blood pressure because that tile has disappeared…no explanation. I don’t get it. This is one of the most important health metrics to monitor. I get white coat syndrome when I go to the doctor, and Argus use to make it so easy to share my numbers with my doctor when the BP measured in her office was higher than normal. And what happened to the Sleep App? I can’t measure my resting heart rate anymore when the alarm wakes me. I track that, too! Are there going to be anymore surprise deletions. I hope I don’t have to find another comprehensive app. I thought Argus was the one, but now I’m not so sure..Version: 5.418

Better integration with Apple Watch neededI used to use this app all the time, but bought an Apple Watch with GPS (it showed that Argus works on the Apple Watch) so that I could workout without having to carry my cellphone with me. However, now there’s no point in using Argus because it only uses the gps on the cellphone. It needs to communicate fully, back & forth with the Watch. I hope this is a fix coming because I really love the other functionality of the app. Please!!! Fix this issue and I will give a full 5 stars!.Version: 5.166

FrançaisBonjour, comment fait-on pour changer la langue de l’application? Merci.Version: 5.132

Steps Notification BrokenI use Argus primarily to count my steps, and came to rely on the notification widget. This is now broken after the latest update, so sadly will be changing apps until fixed..Version: 3.12

Argus keeps on minimisingI have used Argus for many months now, and I love it… except the latest version does not play will with latest available Software! Each time I click the icon, the app seems to refresh, but within 5-10 seconds, the screen returns to my app screen. Although Argus is still open (double clicking the home button reveals it) each time I select Argus, it blinks onto screen very quickly, before returning back to my app screen. It has essentially become useless to endusers like myself! I have uninstalled, reinstalled, and even restored my phone to factory settings, however this issue has all but ended my time with Argus (until it can be fixed, of course!).Version: 5.00

Still waiting!Waiting for my password reset checked my email again still waiting!.Version: 5.238

RIP OffSign up for subscription and it doesn’t recognise the subscription. The meal plan doesn’t respond to your selections eg. You get a meat filled diet even if selected vegetarian. No support to get refund. Or fix problem..Version: 5.140

Steps progress in notification goneIn past versions I would rely on the steps progress shown in the today view of notifications centre. In this update, they've disappeared and the Argus widget shows a black space. Sometimes it shows an "unable to load" message. Hope it gets fixed soon!.Version: 5.02

Needs more work. The app is great, challenges need to work better & calorie imput/ finding food needs more work..Version: 5.242

Not for u.kWas enjoying the water/coffee/step features but then I tried logging my food and it doesn't recognise food from th u.k it seems! It's also not easy to add your own in...it's easier to use notepad and pen which is a shame but I will still use it for the water/coffee/step.Version: 5.128

Horribly inaccurate and a waste of moneyI downloaded this thinking the phone app and the Apple Watch would sync the data collected between the two platforms but I was wrong. The app layout is difficult to understand and the information displayed is horribly inaccurate. The “meal plans” provided don’t follow the guidelines or basic principles of the selected diets. Pressuring people into purchasing a year subscription for $30 is a huge rip off when this app needs a lot more work put into it. I am very displeased with the app as a whole and find it useless and a waste of space on my phone and a waste of money if you made the stupid choice like I did and purchase a year subscription..Version: 5.152

DisappointedYour price reduction doesn’t apply to renewals so I’ve cancelled my subscription typical of companies fail to care for those that support them. Also the app doesn’t work with Apple Watch unless in constant contact.Version: 5.128

BewareThis company is among those cited whose apps habitually send your private information to Facebook without your knowledge..Version: 5.188

Like it on my phone, but not on watchI like this app. I change my macros daily for carb cycling and I love the overall layout and setup. But the database, picture option, and even food scanner are really lacking. I’ve grown used to manually entering things & since I eat the same 20 items it’s not longer an issue but honestly they need to update their database. My second issue is the app on the Apple watch. I can only see activity and workout options on the watch app. I already have that through Apple and another fitness app. I just want to quickly see my calorie intake and macros for the day. This is super frustrating bc I only ended up with the paid subscription for Argus bc I purchased the annual membership for another azumio app, gym buddy, and when that app wasn’t useful I started using Argus instead of MFP so I didn’t feel bad for losing $40. Now I’m annoyed I didn’t just save my money and pay for MFP so I could use it on my watch and have set macros for specific days and actually be able to find foods in the database that I haven’t previously manually entered..Version: 5.166

Annoying!!Worked great until the second from last update. Now it constantly tells me tracking has stopped & to open app to resume; even when the app is open!! Bug fixes have only made it worse, not better..Version: 5.144

Terrible user experience- food database is terribleI was using a different app previously to log my food. That didn’t log my sleep. So I searched and this app seemed to have good reviews. The app has a terrible user experience...I really can’t add my custom foods easily with all the nutrition information...and it takes ages. The normal shopping items are listed terribly so it takes ages to find them, even if they are listed...which they aren’t. My Apple Watch has a heart rate monitor..and instead of that I have to ...put my finger in the camera for ages. It’s a terrible app clunky to use. Thought it was smart - but it’s actually the worst app...I even prefer MFP to this...which is saying something. I wouldn’t have even given it the single star if u could have avoided it. None of the things are easy to log ...and every time I want to log my weight, I get this stupid advert that I can’t switch off for Bluetooth scales. Seriously Not happy. It got so many good reviews but doesn’t do the basic things..Version: 5.196

Very hard to cancelThey just took two lots of money you can not cancel it through iTunes like other apps. This is a rip off. No customer number or email to contact them. This app is a scam I can’t imagine where all there good feedback comes from..Version: 5.122

Not all Options I ExpectedThis app does not move STEPS from Health App or Apple Watch which would make more accurate. Not everyone has their phone with them and Health App takes STEPS from Apple Watch also. Also not enough food options automatically in app... have to manually add a lot of Bulletproof items too. Would not have signed up for year if knew this. Other than that a great app and format..Version: 5.166

No accessI purchased this app for 1 year subscription about 2 weeks ago-- now that I want to use it —I have no access other then the free version- 😡🤬.Version: 5.166

GarbageAccidentally paid for premium and this app is complete trash... I want my money back I haven’t seen this poor of a performance since the falcons blew a 25 point lead in the super bowl....Version: 5.242

Not accurate for steps.I have an Apple Watch which provides my iPhone with my steps. I have connected this app to the health app on my phone which is also connected to my watch. However, the steps on this app are behind by about 2000 steps from what my Apple Watch shows. I cannot walk around with my phone 24/7 which is why I have my watch. Also, I cannot plan my calories for the next day by putting in what I plan to eat or what I made for lunch or breakfast ahead of time. I can only put calories in on the current day or previous day. Frustrating. It may have a lot of great features but these two little things are very irritating to me..Version: 5.134

Love the APP, but.........as they say, if you can’t stand the heat get out of the kitchen. I’ve been using and this app for almost a year simply because I paid for the subscription and holding out for improvements which didn’t happen. When using the sleep timer it heats up the iPhone during the night so much that I am afraid my bed may catch on fire. So I remove it and therefore I cannot get good information. Secondly, I find the calorie counting impossible to use regularly because most of my meals are freshly cooked and have no labels. The foods list is fairly useless unless you’re a nutritionist or have time to research and weigh each veggie in your homemade ingredients soup. Would be a 5 Star rating otherwise..Version: 5.134

A great app that is not so great anymoreThe step and running tracker are amazing. I love how the app passively detects activity. Unfortunately the new update has introduced a bunch of new tracking features which I don't find valuable (because data has to be manually entered) which have bloated the app and there are no options to hide these features. A step in the wrong direction :(.Version: 5.04

Duplicates Strava activitiesIt’s a good app but I’m sick of having to delete about 2 weeks worth of duplicate Strava activities several times per week. Every few days, sometimes every day for a week or so I spend a few minutes deleting the same duplicates I already deleted several times before. Strava activities have a unique activity ID so it shouldn’t be hard to not import data that has already been imported. I’ve been doing this on and off for a couple of years and recently it’s become so frequent I’ve had enough. Too buggy to waste my time on, also fed up of the “special discount upgrade offer” being rammed down my throat every single day. Byee!!!!.Version: 5.218

No Kilojoules, only calories! No Kilojoules, only calories. Ignorance on internationalization..Version: 5.194

InaccurateI want to like this but the step tracker is way off. I walk one step it registers 20. I somehow had 290 steps even before I got out of bed. Needs serious work as the numbers and calories burned are just made up..Version: 1.6

Buggy and uselessThis app is full of bugs. You can't add sleep time, exercise time etc manually due to a bug. Also the advertising is highly misleading. All of the extra functions such sleep recording require purchase of a separate app..Version: 2.4

Great App Undermined by Bad Business PracticesA really great app (apart from the fact that it constantly tries to upsell you to a premium account with an annual subscription, monthly is vastly more expensive). The one thing I would ask is that you get rid of the Final Fantasy XV app because it does not work. You play through the add for five minutes, and an X button never appears. Whether you win or lose, you still have to click through to the app store for the game in order to get rid of the app. Very intrusive and makes me not want to use the app (or Glucose Buddy) at all. Paid or free. Another issue is the East Bentleigh Dental Group ad, which displays in landscape with no way to close the ad other than opening Safari..Version: 5.144

It started quitting...I have had the app for quite a while now between three different phones and all of a sudden on the third phone the app will quit multiple times a day and I use it all day. Are used to think it would quit because of inactivity but it has proven to me that it just quits when it feels like it. Other than that I love the app, I love the sleep tracker..Version: 5.166

Misses stepsJust did a test and have found that it picks up 6-8 of every 10 steps. Could be how I walk, but I think I walk normally, but this is the only problem I have encountered with this app..Version: 3.10

Worked great until...I have been using Aarhus for a few years now and have loved it. I even paid for prime access so I could get all the extra nutritional data etc. it worked well with my iPhone and Apple Watch. Then I upgraded to the iPhone X and it stopped working. I mean stopped working at all. I get a blank screen when I try and open it and then it shuts down. Argus links for app support go literally no where as well. I contacted Apple and the had me uninstall reinstall Argus. No good. Then had me reset the network settings. Success! For 2 days. Had an update to the iOS last night and this morning Argus is trashed again. Tried, again to click on app support and again went no where. I hate to leave a bad review but this seems like the only way to get the attention of Argus that Houston we have a problem. I don’t want to switch apps! I want Argus to work again!!!.Version: 5.128

Won’t stop asking me to turn in BluetoothI don’t want to turn on Bluetooth and the app works as it should without it. Fix this bug, it’s annoying..Version: 5.128

Missing data inputHave used this app for years but slowly things are disappearing. Heart rate gone and now blood pressure too! What next?.Version: 5.418

Really good for a free appI’ve been using this app pretty consistently for almost a year now. Here’s what it does well: tracking weight, tracking daily steps, keeping up with my runs (set it for a distance or time goal and it will tell you your stats every certain interval, like every quarter mile with your speed- very helpful!) and cycling (but you can’t forget to turn it on when you leave). What it doesn’t do well, unfortunately, is food. If you cook for yourself from scratch with more than a few ingredients, you have to manually search for each item and enter all the info yourself. Even just copying/pasting previous meals like breakfast isn’t simple. It was so cumbersome that I gave up after a few weeks. Overall, I really benefited from seeing my daily steps and weight loss, but as a food tracker, it’s not very useful..Version: 5.128

Needs fixingWhile for the most part it’s really helpful, it needs fixing fast. For one it’s incredibly slow, and for two, I am really sick of the “premium offer” - which is a countdown pop-up - showing up every other time I open the app. If I haven’t bought the premium two years since the pop-ups started, I won’t ever do so. FIX IT!.Version: 5.148

No steps recorded properly? My steps are not recording??? Any ideas please.Version: 5.128

Great but could use some improvementFirst off I just want to say that this is an amazing app based on my limited experience using it however there are a few things I would like to see fixed before I'll bump up my rating. 1. The ability to convert between units of measurement for things like height, weight energy content of food etc. 2. Fixing the typo in the please enter your calories dialog when trying to add a new food. And finally a nice bonus that would be a lot more difficult to setup is extending the food database to include extra countries like Australia and New Zealand :).Version: 5.06

Widget problemThis is a good app to be honest however recently the widget stopped working for some reason which I cannot figure out. It will not update until you open the app and then again freezes until you open the app again. I used to love this app widget.Version: 5.196

CrashingI got a notification about my step goal and now the app won’t open, I’ve tried to open the app about five times.Version: 5.242

Calorie counter wrong af?I don’t understand how a mango is supposed to be worth 2750 calories? And a fried egg 1960? Because that is what that app was telling me. A fried egg is actually 90 calories. And a mango is 60 calories. The calorie counter is messed up..Version: 5.144

Good potential but confusingI like most of the app but I find the tiles confusing to look at. If there was a separator between days, like a row of gray tiles it would be soooo much easier to look at. I also cannot figure out how the heck to add back a tile? they are ties, they should be easy to configure and sort. Also very confusing when you add data and the position changes, I want things to stay where they are so I don’t need to look around for the data..Version: 5.330

Ruined food group trackingUntil this last update, food photos used to be able to be logged from an album and tagged like fruit, grains etc so you could track food groups. Now you cannot do this, ruined it, after 5 years app now useless to me..Version: 5.166

Update Continues To Kill ArgusSo uploading of the food photos has been changed. Since I have Glucose Buddy, I have to delete the food photos from that app to edit my photos the way I used to be able when Argus first was developed. Now when I want to add location for those photos, the app tells me, “Sorry there are no places near you.” Please fix this. This latest update STILL uploads all food photos as current EVEN when the message pops up as saying this picture was taken in the past!! PLEASE FIX THIS!! I just want my food photos to be where they are supposed to be date and time –wise. This update has KILLED Argus for me and my rating is seriously ZERO stars until this is fixed!!.Version: 5.218

Nice but azumio scale info doesn’t transfer to Apple Health as claimedTried to put this in but your support page is a blank page. I purchased the app several years ago and the Azumio scale for $80 plus shipping 3 weeks ago based on your webpage stating it would send data to Apple Health. It doesn’t. Manual entries are fine auto entered to azumio from the scale never transfer. I could have stayed with my $20 digital scale for that. Customer support says no return we’ll have the bug fixed in next weeks release. That was 3 weeks ago and now I’m past my 14 day return point so I’m stuck with an expensive not quite working scale and premium membership besides. I’m not thrilled. Can someone address this please??.Version: 5.136

Stupid meDidn't even use it for 24 hours, how do you get a refund? Subscription paid for a year # little to no Australian content, doesn't really sync with Apple watch which is the main reason for purchase. Kicking myself for my stupidity..Version: 5.150

Last update rendered sleep data unobtainableCan no longer actually shut off alarm and get sleep summary. Snooze is only option. Tapping app support leads to a blank website..Version: 5.132

If you haven't updated, DON'T updateI have been using this app for a while, it's been usually good until this update. The update completely stuffed it up now the app is useless - it doesn't even start, as it freezes and crash as soon as you enter it. Not to mention using any features. It has been a week since the faulty update, I see no words from the company - not even something like "we realise there is a problem and we are working to addresses it". This just shows how much they care about the problem. They have to realize that the App Store is such a competitive space, it takes a lot to recover from even small error, let alone blunders like this. My conclusion is that this app doesn't deserve a place on your phone, at least for now..Version: 3.6

Need support!I've had Argus premium for years. The most important feature on it for me is now not working- the alarm. I have narcolepsy and the way the alarm (along with two other apps and my watch) functions helps me to wake up every morning. Since the update (end of January), the button to stop the alarm has disappeared. When the alarm sounds, I have to force close the app to make it stop. Occasionally I have awakened to my other alarms to find this one had turned itself off at some point during the night and didn't save any data, as if I never turned it on, when I know that I did. I have clicked the sorry button, but it only goes to a blank page..Version: 5.132

Steps don’t syncSteps are never accurate with the activity app, rendering this pretty useless. Today for example, it says I have over 11000 steps where I should only have 7784..Version: 5.150

Can’t stop the clockThis app is so annoying for runs. It has auto detect when you start running but not really when you stop. And even when you stop running I try and hit the pause button to stop the time, but no matter how many times I tap it it just keeps adding time to my finished run. You have to literally stop completely and not move for about 30 seconds before it will give you the option to stop the clock. Tell me who does that after a run? No one. Everyone walks it off after a run and I’m sure they don’t want that time added. I’ve tried to contact Argus about this problem but I guess they don’t care. Never have heard a peep from them..Version: 5.144

Heart rate monitor brokenSince I upgraded my iPhone to a 3 lens model the heart rate monitor does not work. Time to look for a new app!.Version: 5.358

Stopped TrackingApp keeps showing "stopped tracking" several times throughout the day. This all started about 1-2 months ago and is becoming annoying. What used to be an amazing app is beginning to become a nuisance. I'm not sure if it's because I refuse to upgrade or not. If not for the fact that I purchased the weight scale from Argus that syncs with this app, I probably would have deleted it. Now my weight from the scale I bought from Argus no longer syncs despite Bluetooth being turned on. I hope they fix this soon. I would hate to delete this app & sell my scale on eBay also..Version: 5.214

AverageIdea really good but...lots of problems with program stopping tracking during the day. I purchased full membership with exercise program but somehow daily workouts are not showing on my days.A bit dissapointed..Version: 3.14

Middle of the road tracker.I paid for the premium for the year. Pros: -love the interface. -the built in calories burned a more conservative (I’ve found the wrist trackers to be high most times). -integration with AppleHealth is just enough in my opinion. They bring over workouts and steps and that’s about it. -Recipe building is good. Cons: -Interface is a little complicated. Everyday adds on to these hexagonal shifting tiles that can make it difficult to find where to log food (especially if you’re in a hurry). -The delay on pulling up food from the database takes a moment -There isn’t a lot of food in the database. I often find myself using the generic version of things rather than scanning (sauces for food, etc). -For the food that IS built into the database, often times the phrasing is not something you’d ever type. So without a barcode it may be difficult to find. Going to finish this app out for the year but as of right now will not be renewing..Version: 5.416

Abandoned product - can’t contact the Argus teamI’m having problems logging into Argus, so I click on the (forgot passport) send password instructions link and nothing appears in my Inbox. What’s worse, the contacts page on their website doesn’t work properly. It seems the production and development team has just abandoned this product altogether..Version: 5.194

STILL DOESNT SYNC WATER WITH HEALTH KIT!!!This app has been updated and updated and updated, for YEARS. Yet for the life of me, I can’t understand how this 1 app that tracks and syncs EVERYTHING ELSE to the Health Kit, DOES NOT SYNC WATER CONSUMPTION!!! It’ll sync how much potassium you consume, BUT NOT WATER!? Why after all these years do I still need to use a separate app for that?? Even the internal water tracking is terrible. Tracking “a glass” is ineffective in a world where people drink glasses that come in all different sizes, and bottles that come in even more different sizes. Why can’t I track volume like “8oz glass” vs a “16oz bottle?” Argus-if you can comment back to me with a VALID reason why this has been ignored for so long, I’ll amend my rating. Otherwise, this is how I’m rating every new release until this feature is added..Version: 5.194

Does not sync steps with Apple Watch — still! It’s ridiculous to me that steps my Apple Watch sends to Apple health are counted but that the Argus app on my Apple Watch counts nothing — nor does it recover the steps when you sync Argus to Apple health. People have been complaining about this for years, and yet it’s still not resolved. I reported it last November yet here it is January and it’s STILL not resolved. There’s really no reason to make this app available on my Apple Watch if it DOES NOTHING! Fix this issue already! My calorie count is off because of the erroneous steps issue — I just paid for an entire year subscription to something worthless to me :/.Version: 5.128

Not even sort of helpfulMaybe if I was looking to lose weight it would have been a good app, but I struggle with a horribly high metabolism and a lack of appetite due to mental illness and I’m generally a small guy so sometimes it’s just tough to eat full meals. I’m currently 30lbs underweight and dropping, I’m essentially just starving simply by existing at this point and this app was useless! All it wanted me to do was lose weight or build muscle even after calibrating everything and taking the stupid quiz! I need to gain weight, fat, I’m not healthy and I’m not the only one (I know so many people who struggle with similar things or have struggled with anorexia in the past and have trouble eating well today as well.) It’s not healthy to only cater to the two options of “losing weight” or “building” muscle, this is supposed to be a meal tracker app and something to help people be healthy, it needs to be able to be used by everyone who needs it not Just the idealistic stereotypes.Version: 5.166

Developer doesn't seem to careI have sent multiple incidents to developer about this and other products by the same developer since updating to the iPhone x, am yet to hear anything back. I have paid for the pro version of this and the sleep tracking app which no longer measures my heart rate on waking and feel there is no support once the developer has my money.Version: 5.126

Not happyAfter the last two updates the app has been somewhat problematic has stopped working on several occasions and has once stopped working and had to be reset. But when it works it works well just not happy when it's running in background it all of a sudden stops tracking and prompts to click to resume.Version: 5.04

LoredenlowanaWould have kept this app except for the fact that there’s not enough Australian content on here.Version: 5.140
