✓ Not quite what I expected, but still...I thought the paintings would all be as graceful as the cover art. Some of it is. But I was taken aback by the court cards for the Pentacles portion. The Queen and King of Pentacles, especially, look slovenly, mean-spirited and sullen. In fact, just now, AFTER I had handwritten this review, I read the text that goes with the King and even the author admits that he looks sullen. I don't get it. There's a lot to like elsewhere in this deck. Why would the people who created and/or produced this deck choose this direction for this one group of cards? The rest of the deck seems beautiful and/or interesting, and offers advice that seems somewhat different than other decks..Version: 2.0.2

✓ The Fool's Dog has thought of everything — againLike all of the Fool's Dog Tarot apps, this one is beautifully put together. The cards are nothing short of stunning as rendered here. The photorealism is almost three dimensional. The features of the app are simply amazing. You can pick a spread or create your own and keep a journal of your readings. You can revisit a past reading and add to your notes. You can even pick your own background and set it as a default. One caveat I would give to beginner Tarot readers is that this deck does not provide a lot of direction with regard to the meanings of the cards in a spread. Rather, the text accompanying each card is mostly descriptive. It is helpful to already have some grounding in the meanings of the original Rider-Waite cards before using this deck for a reading. That said, this deck would be a very good one to use as a way to study Tarot, as the symbols used on the cards are multi-layered, and much helpful additional information is provided in the accompanying book. All of the Fool's Dog Tarot apps are thoughtfully put together; the creators have thought of just about everything you could possibly want, and more besides. Well worth the price for the afficionado and the beginner alike, especially considering that you get the complete book that accompanies the deck in its entirety..Version: 1.3

✓ Great learning tool!I have been reading cards for 4 years consistently, and this deck has taught me something new. Love the wizardly spin, especially about the moon and the elements.
