IConnectHue for Philips Hue for Positive User Reviews

Amazingly powerful huenessI can’t say enough good things about this app. The magic scenes are great for creating animations with varying colors, and you don’t even have to edit them when you add/remove lights from the room. Setting up motion sensors and light switches works much better than the official Hue app. The in app purchases all feel like something that’s worth buying. The developer continues to improve the app consistently, adding new one-time purchases that I’m happy to buy..Version: 3.2.2

Just using it for the widgets, but works wellAfter the latest (very poor) update to the official Hue app, I wasn’t able to get reliable light switches in a widget using Shortcuts - lights would randomly fail to turn on or off. As the widget is how I interact with my Hues 90% of the time, this was really frustrating! I gave this app a go as I was told it had a good native widget and indeed it does. Very customisable, you can have multiple rows of buttons (including toggle switches, which were a pain to create in Shortcuts), efficient use of space and most importantly, it works 100% of the time! I’ve not really dived into the app itself as I mainly just use the same few presets, but it seems powerful and fairly well designed..Version: 4.7.2

Best app for HueIt does so many things. You don’t need any other app..Version: 4.4.1

The bestThis is absolutely the best hue app I’ve used for customising the Philips dimmer switch. I mostly use Apple Home app and Siri for controlling my lights but this app allows me to highly configure the Philips dimmer switch to do so much more than I can do with the Hue app or HomeKit..Version: 3.6.0

Awesome appI primarily use Hue lights with HomeKit and mostly put my motion sensor automations onto the hue bridge for responsiveness and restoration capabilities whenever I have to rebuild HomeKit due to its instability. I have 2 hue hubs and use motion sensors extensively. This app provides exactly what I need for advanced motion controls. Eg if a light is on, don’t run sensors; setting multiple time periods, setting motion overrides etc. things you can only do with formulas in Hue or other clunky workarounds. This stopped me having to actually write manual commands for my bridge. It is faultless in operation and regularly updated, almost to the point where it seems to be ahead of the Hue app itself with updates and support. Oh and I have widgets set so I can manually disable motion sensors if required with a single press(not normally required as my rules are quite robust) Highly recommend for more advanced config, ability to set groups across rooms etc. very good support documentation. I am surprised Signify have not bought this out and embedded it fully into their app, it is that good. Only criticism, actual direct control of Lights is a bit clunky, but I don’t really use it for that, only to create scenes etc. Also some more direct control over hub rules and ability to edit/delete would be useful but this is a bit of an edge case and I use another app for that if required..Version: 3.7.0

The upgrades are hugeI have been using iConnectHue for a few months now, and have found it to be the only app out there capable of organizing and controlling the hue lights with animations. With the most recent update I was so excited to see they fixed alot of small bugs, upgraded the UX and UI, and the connection to the lights seams to be a lot faster and responsive then in previous versions. I highly recommend this app, and it is leaps and bounds better then the stock HUE app..Version: 3.0.0

Very worthwhile app !This is an amended review, when it first was introduced there were aspects that I felt worthy of comment, good and less good. There is no doubt that this app is hugely capable with great functionality. My first thoughts were that the app was expensive, but I see now that the developer has worked super hard to continually develop this app and offer up to date functionality. This should not go without reward. It still irks that once you settle on this app to control your lighting you may still come across further expense with required in app purchases. I find this annoying and sometimes think I would rather pay more in the first place and be done with it. That said I still think this is the best app for controlling Hue lights...period! The interface is intuitive but beyond that has hidden power so reading the tips and help will be useful. A well designed and professional app which will do the job for you really well. The developer will answer questions directly, as he says, rather than bad press here just ask the question directly to him. Just to help anybody who has read this far…it is also brilliant !!.Version: 4.3.3

Takes Hue to another levelGreat app! I bought the version that includes everything and it is completely worthy. What’s a few dollars more after spending so much on the lights themselves? I love the animation feature and the flexibility you get for accessories such as the dimmer and motion sensor. I’m not sure if the developers will be adding more features. If so I cannot wait to see what’s next. As a developer myself I tip my hat to you guys. Great work!.Version: 4.5.1

Great for old phone users.I checked the app out because it was iOS 10 and later. My phone is a 6s+ and updating anymore would slow my phone down. At first I thought my only options were to spend a grand on a new phone or buy a smart hub and have everything I say be recorded. Both options were way more expensive than this app. I can't speak for it in comparison to the Hue app...because I couldn't even download it. I needed iOS 11 to turn my lights on. The user interface is straight to the point but gives tips to ensure you figure it out. Love it, you saved me the disappointment of returning my bulbs and saved me the frustration of buying more products..Version: 3.3.1

Best I've foundBest Hue app I've tried, and I've tried a few..Version: 2.6.1

Better than the Philips AppIt is rare I use apps that are not the official app of the product I am using but this app is what the official Philips app should be like. It is more intuitive and has more features. The in app purchases are worth the money. I have 2 bridges controlling all of my lights in the house and it is great not to have to switch bridges. I have used the app to set up my whole house and all features of the app work great with no bugs. I would highly recommend this app.Version: 4.0.4

Excellent AppThis is one of the best apps I have ever used and is without a doubt the best app for controlling Phillips Hue lights. A highly recommended and stable app. A+! I have reached out to the developer for help a few times in the past and was surprised to get useful help and support..Version: 5.0.2

Great for those with toddlersReally enjoying this App. I have a toddler and I can set up a widget to gradually simulate a sunset. This is gold for anyone who knows how hard it is to get a toddler into a peaceful state of mind and ready for bed. It costs some dollars but hey, the lights aren't cheap and you might as well get them to work the way you want..Version: 2.9.0

Great SupportBeen using the app for a while now and find that it suits almost all of my needs. Far more in depth than the Hue app. It does take a little time to familiarise oneself with everything on offer but once you get your head around it and start to understand how to set things up, it becomes much easier. Whenever I have encountered a problem and reached out for support, I have always received a prompt and very helpful response; even follow ups to check that things are ok. Can’t fault the support at all..Version: 4.7.2

Amazing App. Well Worth the Expensive PriceLooking back, this is the best app + in-app purchase I have ever done on the iPhone. Once you buy it, you'll be extremely satisfied and wonder how you've been controlling your lights without this! Previously I was using about 4 apps. The official Philip Hue apps, Huemote and OnSwitch. I've also tried using all the other apps (paid and free). Each did one thing well but I had to jump between many apps. The reason I bought this app is because of the ability to program the dimmer remotes. The app did a fantastic job of programming my 7 dimmer switches. I was able to add custom behaviours to the buttons and configure it any way I wanted. I have remotes program to press the power button to turn on. Then press the power button again change to a different preset colour. If I press the off button, one group of lights turns off. If I hold the off button, all my Philips hue bulbs turn off in the entire home. The custom groupings works 100% better than the "rooms" Philips app uses. I can allocate the same light to multiple groups. Custom widget designer (in-app purchase) works really well. Allows for organizing and structuring your widget how you want it. It is very impressively done! Remote Access works well. Previously I always had to access the official app for this which didn't align with other app groupings. The animation is well built. Takes a bit of time to configure and play with, but colour cycling works well. Small quirk for stopping an animation, but that is minor. Presets are becoming my new favourite feature (after the dimmer configuration). Being able to create a preset for the lights, brightness, colours and then assigning it to a widget or remote. Been playing with the motion sensor now that the app lets you configure it in a more detailed way. Really like that the motion sensor can be ignored if the light is already on and set to a different colour. Overall, this is a fantastic app that will make most of the other Philips Hue apps obsolete. It may seem expensive, but compared to the price of the bulbs, it is a minimal fee that will allow you to get maximum configuration and use out of your Philips hue system. This app is especially critical if you have many bulbs and switches spread throughout your home..Version: 2.8.0

Absolutely amazing! At first I was apprehensive about spending $NZ5.99 on an app for the Hue system. I’d already bought others which I felt were a waste of money. iConnectHue is everything but though! This app is amazing. I can easily group my lights together, create better widgets and so much more that the Philips app doesn’t. Easily the most used app on my iPhone X. If you have the Philips Hue system in your house, you owe it to yourself to buy this app immediately..Version: 3.1.8

Utterly necessaryThis is the ONLY available iOS Hue app that will let you control your Hue lights the way you want to, as a regular person with several rooms in your house. I've tried about 8 apps. Ignoring the animation apps that you use as a gimmick, this is the only one that lets you manage your house rooms intuitively. Buy it now..Version: 1.9.0

Heads Up, Hue’s got a brand new friend.....I got my first Hue bulbs about 8 months ago and installed them in my kitchen. The difference was unreal. I downloaded the Hue app to control them. Not too bad but missing some (what I considered to to be) simple functionality. After a bit of research I found iConnectHue. This app delivers all the functionality I wanted for my Hue system, and more. As time went on I upgraded the dining room, bedrooms 1, 2 and 3, downstairs hall and upstairs hall. iConnectHue came into its own, switching all these via timers and motion sensors. The morning routine effortlessly switches main thoroughfares into a soft red, light enough to see but dark enough to not disturb. The kitchen intelligently manages itself according to the time of day and the lighting required. Bedtime is lush, I crack open the app and stick a sleep timer on and the lights softly fade out over a few minutes. My wife and son have the lights slowly fade in at wake up time, giving a more natural, gentle wake up. Remote management is easy and making the house look lives in when everyone is away is simple. Magic scenes and animations mean you can vary the lighting patterns seasonally, Christmas is all warm red, green and gold, Easter is all yellows and bright. Can’t rate this app highly enough, easily the best control system out there for all hinge Hue related. Thank you, iConnectHue!.Version: 3.2.3

Simple & Extensive; Multiple HubsThis is my primary app for my Hue ecosystem; over 50 lights, dozen switches & sensors, and 2 hubs. My Hues co-exist with Z-Wave lights and devices on Wink, but I still prefer to switch over to iConnect for better control of my Hues—more precise control, more responsive, and straight forward user interface. The Add-Ons are well worth the small price. After $20-50 for each light, a few dollars for a great app feature doesn’t really need any thought..Version: 3.1.8

Very usefulI initially purchased this app to get my dimmer switches to control my bedside lamps separately, something the official app cannot do yet. I have continued to explore the app and have been impressed by the features that it offers for customisation and automation. The app could do with a visual refresh as it looks a little dated to me and lots of things within the app require additional purchases - but I would say that many of them are worth it..Version: 3.2.2

Just keeps getting betterWith every update new features and improvements are made to this already great app. I strongly recommend purchasing a generous selection of the in-app additions, which are well worth the small fee, and help to fund the future development of features and fixes..Version: 3.1.1

Great app for a great priceI’ve been using this app for many years to control over 50 lights and devices and never had any issues. I started using this app when I had 5-6 lights but over the last few years as my lights have grown this app has still been able to control everything as I want to. It does take a little practice to get use to it but once you know what to do its a breeze. It is much better than the Philips app and the developers respond really fast to any queries you have. I used to purchase certain features every year but now as with many other apps ConnectHue has a yearly subscription. I was more than happy to support the developers by getting the annual subscription (for a very reasonable price btw) for an app that I use really often. Great work team!.Version: 4.13.0

Works well with multiple locationsOne of the few that works really well with multiple locations each with its own bridge. It’s an in-app purchase but worth every cent..Version: 3.6.0

Worth itI only downloaded this originally because my hue dimmer switch was randomly forgetting the functions I programmed in. After I downloaded this app I was able to quickly reprogram the switches but also realised there was a lot of untapped functions the lights (and switches) could do that for whatever reason are inaccessible through the hue app or the home app. Worth the money.Version: 3.6.3

The best Phillips Hue app that exists todayI started using this app over a year ago because the original Phillips Hue app was so horrible. The support is terrific and you get regular updates. It’s the only app that I know you can easily configure the light switches with all sorts of push and/or hold combinations for each button. It’s well worth the money that you’ll pay for this app and probably does more than you will ever use it for. And if you are reading this and not sure about getting it, know that you are getting a complete replacement for the Hue app plus lots of extra config options too!!.Version: 3.1.6

Makes Accessories Functional, Buy It.We smart light people spend too much time trying to make our lights do what normal lights do... this fixes that 100%. The hue app doesn’t let you do much with the add on devices and the routines are not intuitive. This app makes routines super functional, and turns switches into actual useful things that do what you want, when you want. Completely replaces an actual dimmer switch 100%. Beautiful. Makes it easy for other people in the home to use the home automation and smart lights because now the switches just do everything they need to do and the routines (timers) allow perfect customization. Throw in all the other cool stuff this thing can do and holy crap. I need more smart lights, because this is amazing. Honestly I don’t write reviews hardly ever, but everyone should know this thing exists and is well worth every penny. You spent hundreds on hue lights, spend $6-10 more and make the most of it. So glad some one built this to take full advantage of what Philips should have done..Version: 4.1.1

Hands down best hue app out there.I’ve never written a review of an app before but just wanna say real quick that this app is so good. It feels like the team is updating it constantly and making it better. It has so many easy to use and cool features, especially the custom animations!! Those are definitely worth it. I feel like a mini James Turrell out here! Thank you iConnectHue team!!.Version: 4.17.0

Best Watch app for HueThis app is fantastic. Up front I want to say the support team helped me out over the holidays, which I didn't at all expect, and were extremely helpful and patient. This app is the best iOS citizen Hue app I've found — far nicer than the official Hue app, which feels like an alien transplant. The Siri Shortcut support is really great for integrating into other automations, and the customizable Today widget is really nice for having just what you need where you want it. The standout feature to me is the Watch app. It has dimmer buttons instead of Apple's fiddly scrolling brightness control, and your scenes/animations/colors. The app is really well done, very quick and responsive, and to me, faster to use than the endless scrolling of Apple's Home app (and more feature rich). The only feature I wish the app had is the ability to add a fade in/out timer to scenes and colors, so I could cross-fade from the Watch app. However, what I most wanted was the ability to fade on and off my lights on command instead of only sunrise/sunset, from my Watch, and I got that using animations. Extremely pleased, except for the money I spent before finding this app..Version: 4.0.5

Best Hue app I've usedInterface looks great, has a lot of settings. Kinda in-app purchases hungry tho..Version: 2.9.1

Simply the BEST Hue AppI have been using this App ever since I got my Phillips Hue starter kit about 5 years ago. It really does allow you to get the most from the Hue lights, dimmers and sensors. The options for setting them all up are far superior to anything else available and makes the official Hue App look very limited! The updates have been consistent and often over the years. I cannot recommend this App enough to anyone with any Hue lights..Version: 4.2.1

It’s like the official app on SteriodsThis app goes far beyond what you can do with the standard Philips app. Can be a bit of a learning curve getting used to what this app can do but it’s worth it. I don’t even use the official app anymore, this is simply the best Hue app there is. If you want your Hue lights to do something, anything, then this app makes it possible..Version: 3.1.2

One smart app !!Im a developer of another Philips Hue app and i must admit this app has been appart of the bunch. They where first to support multi bridge and still rare app to properly support it. The latest idea to create dynamic effects using bridge timer is a clever idea !!! I raise my hat to developer(s) behind iconnecthue. Keep up that good work !.Version: 2.5.1

Fantastic App!This is so much easier to use and clearer in navigation than the Hue App, this is the only one I use for all things Hue. Highly recommend it if you want to manage all your Hue lights in a more efdixien and seamless way. Well done to the developers 😊.Version: 3.6.0

Go buy it!!!I tried many apps for my Hue lights, and this one is my favourite! I'm surprised at what you can do with this app compared to the official Philips app. It's obvious the author likes to get all he can out of the Hue devices ☺️.Version: 2.9.1

Great appRecently replaced the dos based x10 System with iConnect. This is the best. Thanks, Dennis.Version: 2.2.1

Best Hue App out there!Super cool. Has a bit of a learning curve... But once you master it - it's awesome! And amazing support, too!.Version: 2.8.0

By far the Best App for Philips Hue LightsI have had this app for 3 years now and I have been extremely happy with it. We have over 40 lightbulbs at home and 3 bridges for different parts of the house, and this is by far the most intuitive interface and has tonnes of capabilities that the clunky official Philips app lacks. Thank you so much..Version: 4.6.2

POWERFUL app with the BEST interface for managing the Hue Lighting EcoSystemOver the years of growing my home Hue Lighting I have tried virtually all those claiming to help you master all that Hue can do… but this app is by far “Best in Class!” …and the developer is highly responsive and continues to improve and incorporate new features and refinements. There is a richness and depth in all aspects of managing all the Hue lighting assets as well as any and all Hue compatible products. I only wish the developer would port this to the Mac as well..Version: 4.12.4

Top, top notch! One of my favorite apps and the support is fantastic. I’m running it with over 75 lights and 8 hue bridges and it works phenomenally! I had a vision for a pretty wild set up so I contacted support and they walked me through everything on how to accomplish my vision. Markus was amazing in assisting me and I look forward to seeing more out of this super talented group and product. Keep up the great work!!.Version: 4.6.3

Best Business Model :)The guy who wrote “Bad Business Model” is a clown. Obviously he doesn’t know anything about hard work and a fantastic app. Super easy very simple to navigate and the updates are great..Version: 3.5.0

Great app, 100% worth itUnlocks a lot of stuff, saved me from having to return my motion sensor... Philips and even Apple’s options for motion sensors are terrible. Animated scenes are my new favourite. App lacks a well thought out UI and UX but once you set everything up it’s not the worst..Version: 4.1.1

By far the most advanced way to use HueThis app is by far the best way to get the most out of your Hue lights. Having used it for well over a year now I can honestly say it is my favourite app for automating my lights. It opens up the possibilities for the switches by allowing users to alter what the buttons do depending on various preconditions such as other lights being on or off, time of day, people being in the house or not etc. This granular level of control is very very good!.Version: 3.1.3

The best Hue appI've had my 15 Hue bulbs and a single light strip for a little over 4 months. I've tried all the apps that I can, to get the most out of a rather expensive setup. IConnectHue offers the most comprehensive range of options that I've found. I love it that I can program switches so they have multiple functions. I've made in app purchases and I haven't been disappointed with those either. This is the app that I use on a day to day basis and I cannot recommend it highly enough. Five stars from me..Version: 2.9.1

A really useful app!I have a large number of Hue and Hue compatible bulbs in my house, along with a dimmer switch in every room and motion sensors in the hall and landing. iConnectHue really is the best app out there for being able to do so much more with your lights and switches. From the many great ways to customise dimmer switches, doing more with hue motion sensors, Apple Watch integration, animations and magic scenes, and soo much more, it’s the reason why I only ever need to use this app. I think the new subscription options are great value for money too - £1.33 a month for the Pro version (£0.87 for the first 12 months) is a really great price to help support the developer for an app I use almost every day. According to the help pages, this regular income will help hire more developers to bring even more great features, as well as unlocking all in-app purchases, so well worth it in my opinion. Thanks for creating a really useful app!.Version: 4.0.4

A really brilliant app!One of the best - if not THE best app that I’ve ever used! The ability to control all manner of Philips Hue lights in every way possible provides my home with extraordinary accent lighting inside and out. I’ve only encountered one issue during years of use - which was entirely due to my own stupidity - and my request for support gained a swift and helpful response. If you use Hue products you will not get the most out of them unless you use this app! Enjoy!.Version: 4.9.3

Easily the best Hue app available.I have bought a whole range of Hue lights over the past month for my new condo (4 lightstrips, 3 standard bulbs and 4 lights for a track) and downloaded over a dozen Hue apps only to find most of them mediocre. Even the best apps I could find were clumsily designed as far as the UI went or would not have all the features I needed. I just discovered this app tonight and I am beyond blown away by it. It is simply the easiest, best way to control your lights especially if you have several of them. You can easily group lights, turn groups on and off, turn individual lights on and off quickly as well as control brightness and colour seamlessly, have presets that include the lightstrips (something the main Hue app didn't do), etc plus they all work with a detailed widget as well as the Hue Tap! None of this would matter if the UI was hard to navigate and understand but it is laid out in the most efficient and easy to manage way possible, with every group and light settings accessible in an instant. I can't emphasize enough how incredible the UI is especially after having encountered all the other Hue apps that couldn't figure out a good interface for quickly turning on and off/dimming/changing colours on the lights. If you have the Hue bulbs, this is the app to get and the only one you need for control of your lights (of course if you still want party lighting, keep an app like Hue Disco around). I deleted all the other general hue control apps that I had after an hour with this one..Version: 1.9.5

A really good app for Hue usersI am very happy with this app. It allows me to control 2 houses seamlessly, auto-switching from local to remote access for the appropriate bridge. The tech support was fast and helpful. The only thing I don’t like is the size of the giant accessory icons; I can’t find any way to change this. It would be nice to see all of my devices on a single iPad screen..Version: 4.12.4

THE Philips Hue AppWith the limitations of both the native Hue app, Apple HomeKit, and all of the other comprehensive controllers, this has by far the most features, the best interface, and makes the most out of your Hue and Friends of Hue devices. It also leverages newer iOS tools like Siri, Shortcuts, and Widgets nicely. Finally, it’s very well supported. The price is cheap for various functions that I found myself buying some of the silly prebuilt color scenes just because I wanted to give the creator the support to keep making a great product. Also, multiple hubs is supported better than Hue does it, though it requires multiple Hue accounts. (Not ICH’s fault.) Sure, there is plenty more stuff that if could have like a way to create a mode to operate where controls were less “volatile” so guests don’t accidentally change your settings. Also, a comprehensive backup and restore functional would be terrific. Since this app can not control what other apps out in your Hue hub. Sometimes they can mess things up so it would be nice to wipe the hub and restore it from a point in time rather than try to manually “clean it”. Based in past experience, of other uses want this too, the developer will probably get on this because the app is constantly improving. Worth every in-app purchase!.Version: 3.6.3

THE App for automating lightsThere is so much to love about this app. The feature set is exceptionally deep. Especially appreciate the fine-grained customization possibilities of the Hue switch and motion detectors. The implementation of groups and scenes is also awesome. Thanks very much for as near a "pro" app as we have in the app store!.Version: 3.2.2

Excellent full featured appThey listen to users feed back, have great support and offer so many excellent advanced features!.Version: 4.12.3

Clean and beautiful appGreat app with multiple hub support, easy programming and grouping. Well done!.Version: 3.5.0

The best for my hues!I have had this app for several years now and it is the one I use most consistently to control all the lights in my room. The user interface is designed well and everything flows smoothly. Compared to the regular Phillips hues app- this one is very easy to navigate to any setting I am looking for. I have happily paid for a few updates/extras and I see myself continuing to support these developers as they do release updates at a steady pace. I enjoy being able to control my lights from my Apple Watch and phone screen widget. There is one little complaint (more like suggestion) I have - but I’m going to wait and see if there may be an update for it in the near future or if the option I’m looking for is already available and I’m overlooking it somehow… either way, just download this app!! You won’t regret it :).Version: 4.12.4

Solves all the issuesI’ve had the iConnectHue app since I got the first bulbs. I also purchased a handful of other apps. IConnectHue looks good, runs quickly and has a great flow that makes a lot of sense to me. But, there’s one advantage of this app that is SO huge that I’m almost reluctant to say it because I feel the gang there at iConnectHue deserve all good things for this one and the competition will try to take it. So simple but so powerful is the fact that lights can exist in more than one group. It’s major. When you start making scenes soon you see that without this feature you can’t do anything good and the app would be like the rest of the apps (save for running great and looking even better)..Version: 3.2.5

Best app I’ve ever spent money onAmazing features and support. I can’t even imagine using Hue bulbs without this app.Version: 3.6.0

Highly recommendedThe best Hue application. Constant development and support for new products whether Philips or a third party. Big thanks to the development team! Using with bridges in 4 different locations - with in-app purchase for multi bridge support..Version: 3.6.0

Great App - Free add-on not freeThe Add-on for more devices, offered as free, turned out to be 99c, not a lot I know. not free though Apart from that - this App is great at programing the Hue Tap switch and the Motion sensor. It gives many levels of settings for each switch, and makes setting and changing the Motion sensor easy..Version: 3.0.0

Awesome...Because this app has a cost and extra purchases beyond that, I avoided it for a long time. I tried every other app I could (minus about two) but found them to be buggy, ugly or badly designed. So I bit the bullet and paid for this app. I’m really glad I did! This app is very well designed, looks great and is enjoyable to use. I finally feel like I have control over my Hues. The switch editor especially is really powerful. Ignore that old two star review. iConnectHue is great..Version: 3.1.3

Best Hue app!Simply the very best Hue app out there. Love the extra functionality that this app provides and the fact that the app is always ahead of the curve. Multi-press programs for Hue Taps and dimmers make the app incredible. And remote connection is brilliant. You have a Hue? Get this app!.Version: 2.3.3

Worth 100+ dollarsI have 45 hue lights of all kinds that I have been purchasing over the years and just recently discovered this app and it’s amazing. Several things that I had just accepted couldn’t be done(light animations, grouping across rooms, advanced setting for remote controls or timers, etc) are available and work beautifully in this app. For those complaining about the in-app purchases, I believe this app is easily worth 100+ dollars..Version: 3.5.1

Best hue app out thereLove the interface and the app is miles better than the hue app. I've bought features I don't use just to support the continued production of this app..Version: 2.5.0

Best third-party hue appI’ve been using this for a couple of years now and use it interchangeably with the Philips hue app. I mainly use it for setting up Hue dimmer switches and motion sensors as it allows SO much more than the Philips app. I’m not keen on the UI for general light setup and use so I still use the Hue app for that. Highly recommended if you want to add more smarts to your dimmer switches and other devices..Version: 4.8.1

Best app for Hue by farI’ve tried a lot of different Hue apps and this is the best one I’ve come across by far. It’s rock solid and very, very comprehensive in functionality. The UI design is great too; obviously a very talented developer or team working on this. Congrats on the new version, it looks great. I hope the new membership scheme works out well for you. Efforts like this have to be sustainable in the long term, and I’ve no doubt that a lot of effort goes into developing this app..Version: 4.0.0

Can't access Groups tabWith the latest update, I'm not able to see the lights in the Groups tab on my iPad and iPhone..Version: 4.4.0

Powerful control for HueI’ve had iConnectHue for a couple of years now, and out of the box it offers some absolute crucial functionality missing from the official Hue app (for example, a switch press cancelling out a sensor for the same group - essential!). The add-on for having all of your lights & devices in a multi-bridge setup in one place makes things so much more seamless too. And their support is great. Would definitely recommend this app to anyone who wants to take real control of their Hue ecosystem..Version: 4.7.2

Well worth the costWorks really well. Significantly superior to the official Hue app. You tube instruction videos for novices maybe useful although documentation and email support are very good. Once you get into the configurations the options are usually constrained by your imagination..Version: 4.3.1

A must have for Philips Hue usersApp runs smoothly, all add ons work as expected, dev FREQUENTLY updates with new features that make the hue experience better. The dimmer programmability alone makes this app worth the full price, but every feature included with this app is centered around effortless usability in real day to day situations. For instance, my bedside dimmer is programmed to switch certain lights off, my bedroom to a specific night scene and a timer for the bedroom to go off 3 mins after, all with one press of one button, and only past a certain time in the evening. Timers can be based on your location- I have "all off if I'm away" timers set to run every few hours when I'm away from home. This app gets you pretty close to running a full blown home automation server, and it does this pretty much independent of the phone!.Version: 3.0.0

A must have app for Hue lightsThis app is well worth the money. You can subscribe or just make one off purchases. There are so many different things you can do with this app to get the most from your hue lights. Absolutely love the disco lights function, really bringing the disco fun to Friday nights in. There’s so much more like creating your own light animations or just using the ones already available. Lots of helps and tips in the app of how everything works. A very well designed and thought through app..Version: 4.1.3

Great app overall but slow in adopting new features.Great app and simple to use, more ideal than the original Hue app. Only orobe is they still don’t support hue gradient in scenes. And since the dimmer switch accessories only work with scenes this makes having a gradient strip useless. Hopefully the developers can allow gradient settings to be saved to scenes in the future. This would take the app to 5 stars..Version: 4.10.6

Nice appThis is a very useful app, it is the only way I enjoying interacting with my Philips globes..Version: 2.6.4

And it keeps getting better!I've tried a lot of Hue apps, along with hundreds of home automation apps. IConnectHue still surprises me with new features constantly. By far the best light app I've used yet! Been using it for a year now. The only thing I would update would prob be the user interface. But it's difficult to get all those features into something clean and simple and intuitive. Fantastic animations..Version: 3.3.0

For power users in the palm of your handThis app is well worth the basic annual subscription - it unlocks pretty much all the cleverness the Hue Hub can achieve, in a very intuitive and easy to understand fashion... well, until you go down the ultimate geek rabbit hole of Home Assistant/Node Red/etc because you want the movement sensor in your bathroom to link with the door sensor, instead of timing-out and plunging you into darkness when you’re ...contemplating. The only major Gripe is that even after over year of use, in the most used screen, Groups, I *constantly* hit the “Scenes” icon instead of “all groups”. Going down the tree not up ...Every... single... time! ...argh!.Version: 4.6.1

Easily the best app for Philips HueThis is easily the best app for controlling your Philips Hue lights! FAR better, even, than the app from Philips Hue! The ability to create scenes, animations, etc., makes it one or two touches to have your lights do exactly what you want them to do! The apartment I built doesn’t have windows, so I was looking to build a lighting system that could follow the sun in both brightness and color temperature in the built-in “windows” I created to emulate sunrise and sunset and all the stages of lighting throughout the day. The systems I was looking at were going to cost $2,000-$5,000! Then I found Philips Hue and this app. It allows me to do all of that and so much more. I now have my entire house automated with the Hue lights and accessories through this app. The addition of motion detectors and programming to control exactly what I want to happen is incredible. And when I want them to change to something different, one touch of the button is all it takes. Create zones, rooms......whatever you want and have it do whatever you want! Just a great app!!.Version: 3.1.6

The superior Philips Hue appThis is the most feature-rich, robust, and sensible Philips Hue app available. There are no others like it: its features are both deceptively easy to configure, and expansive enough for even the most particular among the tech crowd. What do I use this app for the most? Programming all the switches in my house. Good luck to anyone trying to do it with any other app, including the barely acceptable official app. This app is years of development time ahead of everything when it comes to editing switches. I highlight only this one superb advantage the app has over others, but it's genuinely got all other apps beat in every available feature category. If you've already invested hundreds or thousands of dollars on lights, don't suddenly go cheap on the app. You're not going to get this functionality elsewhere or for free. This developer has provided the Philips Hue community with the benchmark by which all other apps should strive to meet or exceed. As of now, no app comes close, especially the official one. Pay the paltry sum and actually realize the full potential of those smart lights you spent so much damn money on. I've bought all the addons despite not having a use for all of them, like multi-bridge support. This is a developer I do not want my lights to lose. Do yourself what's best and buy the superior Philips Hue app, otherwise known as iConnectHue..Version: 3.1.6

Great App and SupportIt is not often you find an app that is great, and consistently improving, but also supported when you have questions. This is that app. Love all the things I can do with my Hue lights now..Version: 4.6.4

Solves issues I had with the garbage official Hue appI have Hue motion detectors which turn on lights when I enter my living room. With the hue app, if I change the scene in the room with a switch after the motion detector has turned on my lights (ie I want the lights to STAY ON), the motion detector inactivity timeout will still trigger and turn off all my lights. This is infuriating to say the least. Well I’m pleased to say that this iConnectHue solves this problem with the “Cancel inactivity of Hue motion” action! Simply assign this as an action to your switch, and the motion sensor will no longer turn off your lights if you change the scene after detecting motion. This is literally all I wanted from Hue. Thank you for solving my problem..Version: 4.1.2

What the Philips app should offerThe best app paired to my Hue lights and devices! Worth it alone for the ability to configure templates on groups and the extra configuration ability for Hue Tap and Dimmer switches! This is what the Philips app should be. Well done..Version: 2.4.0

Best all round app to control lightsI really like this app, and the discotainment I think is worth the few extra bucks. But I would ask the developers if they could add in the ability to set up Siri commands. For the most part you can use Siri suggestions to do automations in the shortcuts app... But specifically what I'm trying to do is have it set up so I can use Siri to turn on and off the discotainment and automatically play music. And I can for the most part, but I can't select any specific lighting preset for the discotainment. It will just turn it on with whatever lighting set up you had it on last. It would be more fun if there was a way for me to say something like "hey Siri, let's have a christmas party" and in shortcuts it opens the discotainment feature, select the Christmas themed lighting setting, turns it on, then plays my christmas playlist. For now, I just can't be that specific..Version: 3.4.1

The Philips Hue app & clearly a work of love. This app is the only app to use. It is wonderfully written and has a user interface far better than other apps I’ve tried using. It allows you to use the basic functionality of Hue switches, and will also allow you to go farther in implementing sophisticated switch behaviors. I’ve been using the app for 3 years now, and it just keeps getting better..Version: 4.12.0

BrilliantBrilliant app, opens up the endless configuration of the Hue system that the Hue does not. I didn't realise it was possible to configure all the buttons on a remote to do different things and each button will perform different actions depending on a single press or holding it for a couple of seconds..Version: 3.0.0

Buy this app.Not only did this app clear up all the connection issues I was having with the official apps it also informed and handled the update of the firmware for the hub itself. After spending 2 hours troubleshooting with the Philips team this app set the whole thing up in less than 5 minutes. Wonderful.Version: 3.4.1

Very functionalAbsolutely wonderful, so many dynamic ways to use it with the included transitions and settings. This application more-less completes anyone’s Hue set-up. Worth every penny! Thanks for the app!.Version: 3.3.1

Hands down best app I’ve ever hadThe base app cost £5, which in itself enables a dimmer switch to control lots of groups easily (with the Philips Hue app can only control one group). I have one dimmer which now controls 4 separate groups of lights, one per button, cycling through scenes with each press and the group switches off when you hold the button (don’t think even hold option in Hue app?). Also have groups within groups which I don’t think the Hue app gives. Widget is also great, love the editor. Not played with additional content much but even if you spent £20 in total, that’s only the cost of one more dimmer switch, which the app has saved you by making your existing ones four times as good! Well done developers! Only suggestion would be to automatically put some scenes in when you create a group like the standard Concentrate, Dimmed, etc that the Philips app gives. Perhaps a few coloured ones to to spice it up a bit. Can always delete them if you don’t want them, but could save a bit of time creating them for each group (I created same ones for each group so felt like there should be a way of copying a compatible scene somehow - perhaps there is already?).Version: 3.1.4

Lighting that suits everythingI’ve had this app since the beginning and I couldn’t be more pleased. Only ever had a couple of minor issues. Despite there being many apps on the market, this one has so much variety and you can always find what you need. Nearly all my lighting is set using various sunset and sunrise timers and colour changing and dimming modes. I don’t need to touch a thing, my lighting just manages itself all year round. Thank you.Version: 4.7.0

Outstanding!!Bar none, this is the best hue app available! Without it my smart lights feel dumb, but with it the remotes are magic!! Just purchased the new tap dial remote and like magic, the app was updated to support it!!.Version: 4.12.0

GreatI bought this app mainly to program dimmer switches to operate different light groups. In my opinion, the £5 is worth it just for this level of customisation, which the native app doesn’t provide, as it saved me having to buy additional dinners. As an added bonus, this app also lets you adjust the fade/transition times between scenes and by setting the transitions to instant, it solved an issue I was having with a few Ikea bulbs which didn’t like performing a colour change and brightness change at the same time, with any kind of transition delay. The app is quite in depth and not all things are immediately evident, but there is a FAQ section. I also emailed the developers with a question I’d missed in the FAQ and received a polite and informative response very quickly. Excellent stuff all around. The only thing I’d REALLY like to see is a dimmer circle/slider encompassed on the group page to dim all lights in the group at once. This functionality is available but it’s tucked away on another screen so a bit of a faff to access. With this feature, I’d probably never need to use the native hue app again..Version: 3.4.1

A good solution for motion sensors but not perfectLargely a great app that does most of what I want with motion sensors (which are simply impossible to get functioning well with Home or Hue app). One thing that’s really frustrating is I paid for the week/weekend split and it turns out the app only allows 5 splits of time on the inactivity side for the weekend and only one during the week, really odd and I’m assuming it’s a bug. My only other feedback is that even though you can split the day into 5 chunks of time they can’t be discreet. For example if I wanted the motion detector to work from 9-10 and then 11-12 I’d have to also use one of my 5 times for 10-11..Version: 4.3.1

Best hue app I've triedFeatures keep on getting added. Still very impressed with this app. Would recommend the remote access add on. Greatly improves automation. It really lets you get into the guts of your home control..Version: 3.7.2

Fantastic! The app does almost everything you’d like. Animations for lights. Templates for different moods and occasions. All/room/single light control. On/off timers. The discotainment is great fun and definitely in time with the music. The fact you can now even share your own creations with family is so handy. The support team listen and respond with help too. I’d already bought all the in-app purchases, but have also now subscribed, because these guys really do keep on making it the very best with regular updates..Version: 4.0.1

Na Yea Its greatRead the negative reviews. The complaints are about either the app costing money, or it being too complicated. If the 5-15 dollars a year price is outrageous, these complainers should probably also reconsider buying 50 dollar light bulbs. Too complex? It has a lot of awesome functionality other apps don’t have. It’s gonna be a little complex. You may have to read for 10-15 seconds to learn about a function, be ready for that. If you can spare 5-15 for a subscription, and are able to maintain focus for an entire paragraph, then this app is hands down the best..Version: 4.6.2

Quite simply the best hue app out there.I've tried almost all of them. They all seem to have a bit of what I want but nothing all in the same app. So along comes this nifty little bit of software. Love it. Can't wait to see what you guys do with it next..Version: 1.9.0

Better than the official appThis app is an absolute must buy, especially if you have several motion sensors, switches and groups of lights. If you only have a couple of Hue lights you should be fine with the official Phillips app, but the level of customisation and detail this app offers is far superior. I’ve tried a few Hue apps and this one outshines them all. Worth every penny..Version: 3.2.2

Please make a video!Guys, I spent a lot of time on this app why not take and put a video to supplement your hard work it would do two things you would demonstrate how the app works, and show off the features reading is very challenging for me, because I am horizontal nystagm Take your time and make a good video please please please please thank you for your hard work. Terrific I just want a video to explain everything please.Version: 5.0.2

Best Hue App out thereThis is without doubt the best App for controlling your Hue lights & switches. I wouldn’t use anything else to manage my growing Hue ecosystem (not even the official app!) And if you ever need personal help, they’re typically only a day or two away Great job guys.Version: 5.0.6

FINALLY the app my lights deserve!!!This app does everything I ever wanted for my home automation. I tried a lot of free apps to try and get the right configuration but none of them were able to do what I thought would be pretty standard. It is intuitive, a really easy, good-looking interface and it runs everything from the hub. Even the options it gives for the Philips Tap Switch are incredible and exponentially increase its usability. I have purchased all the in app purchases and they are all worth it and great!!.Version: 2.6.5

Works Perdectly!!!So much flexibility in this app for the Hue system. Especially for switches and animations..Version: 2.6.1

Great!Much better than the Philips app, and the developer keeps making it better..Version: 1.9.2

Hue at its bestThere’s a few optional extras for this app but the main thing is everything in this app actually works , I got a Apple Watch and hues own app just crashes doesn’t work yet with this app it works perfectly, everything about this hue app is great from discotainment to the Apple Watch adjustments just get it if you have hue lights this can make timers, groups easy which somes this app up it makes doing things with hue “just work” it won’t let you down and that’s why I felt I needed to do a review because I’m sure alot of effort went into making it simple and it has payed off ..Version: 4.4.0

Much better pricing options!Downloaded this a week ago, deleted because I felt that whilst a good app, I just couldn’t justify the separate in app purchases. Just re-downloaded the December 2019 update - wow!!! Loads of new scenes and animations with the option to do in app purchases or purchase via a membership price package which is incredibly fair. Thanks developers - a great app and you obviously took on board feedback about cost whilst still finding a way to (understandably) bring in income..Version: 4.0.2

Lighten upI have to admit it is taking me a while to learn how to navigate this app; however I am in my early 40’s and am trying to keep up with technology and terminology. That being said when time is taken to perfect what one wants to do the results are worth it..Version: 3.3.1

Worth every penny. This app is invaluable to me in many ways. It bugs me to read reviews that complain about how much this app costs and the upgrade process. Finally an app that makes the absolute most of what Phillips Hue can do. Very detailed control of almost everything I could possibly want to do with my many lights. The developer is quick to respond to messages and is constantly evolving what the app can do, and that is much appreciated. I have purchased every one of the IAP’s, and am perfectly happy with my decision. When someone puts this much time into making a full featured app that is actually useful, they should be rewarded. One request I have though... deeper control of the colours in discotainement. I’d prefer to choose a colour instead of a gradient. And to choose that colour. Thanks!.Version: 3.2.4

The best app for Hue usersUpdate: The app is still the best out there. Great new features continue to be added. When my phone contract was up recently, this app was a significant factor in my decision to stay with an iPhone. It really is *that* good. Original review: There's nothing better. The app is great and the developer responds to emails quickly. Well worth the price..Version: 2.6.5

Exactly what I was looking forI am really enjoying this app. It has a bit of a learning curve, but what app doesn’t, really? It’s animations are totally what I was looking for. It has a limit of eight unique states or transitions for an animation, which I found slightly limiting, but other that that small preference, it’s been great so far.Version: 3.1.3

Upgrade to the Philips AppThis app is much better than the application provided by Philips, which has enhanced my user experience many times over. There are some cool scenes provided at no cost and others you can purchase. You can control multiple Philips Bridges through a single interface which in my case makes things much easier to operate since I have a Philips Bridge on each floor of my home. The application provides notifications when there are firmware updates for Bridges, Devices and Bulbs. Last but not least the UI(User Interface) on iConnectHue is laid out in a much more user friendly way than the default Philips Hue app..Version: 3.2.2

If you have Hue, you need this! This is what the official Hue app should have been. Simple to use and intuitive, but also offers lots of fine control over everything if you want it. This has replaced a number of other apps for me and is the only Hue app you’ll need..Version: 3.3.0

Steroids for your Hue systemThis it the one and only app you need to make the most out of using your complete Hue system. I entered the world of Philips Hue lighting only recently, and tried a few other apps as I was ramping up the user learning curve. In the process I discovered that this is the one that puts all others to shame. Even Philips' own app. IConnectHue puts your whole Hue Ecosystem on steroids, and will give you super powers to make your place your own Light-Wonderland. This app's UX and UI is so intelligently designed, it puts the "smart" in your "-phone" when it comes to managing and controlling your Hue setup. And the in-app purchases are all so worth it, too! (even the add-on to use the app from Apple Watch). App runs smoothly and feels flawless. And on top, support is prompt and they answer fast to any question. Go confidently with this one and look no further when it comes for a #1 main go-to app for your Hue system..Version: 3.2.4

Fantastic appThis is a great app. The Philips Hue app has a number of limitations. This app solves all of them and gives you many more functions besides. I’ve got over 100 bulbs across three floors and garden and the app lets you control them seamlessly, even via your Apple Watch. It lets you unleash the real power and flexibility of the bulbs that you probably spent a lot of money on in total if you’re like me. Just brilliant..Version: 4.5.0

Hue lightingHighly recommend this app Works just how you would like it Very happy with it.Version: 2.9.1

Good functionsNot as good looking as some apps out there, but it has great functions that go beyond the official app's. This app allows the same bulbs to be used in multiple room combinations and scenes. The timers for sunrise and sunset and the sleep timer are great. Remote access is great. The only thing I go back to the official Hue app for is the Siri HomeKit functions. Would be useful have an easy way to enable random on/off when no one is home..Version: 2.9.1

Brilliant app, highly recommendI have an apartment full of Philips Hue lights and switches and have been very happy with the system however this app has taken the system to a whole new level providing additional and innovative features to the Hue system. The Hue app is very limited in what it can do but this app adds so much more. This is one of the few apps I have paid money for but it is worth every penny and would definitely recommend it..Version: 4.1.0

Easily the best Hue app out there!!!I’ve been using this app for several years and my home now has upwards of 35 Philips Hue or Innr bulbs, multiple Hue LED lightstrips, Hue sockets, Motion sensor and many Hue remotes. This app handles everything with ease, either on my iPhone12, iPad Pro or now ...via my iWatch6 and the amount of options to configure your lighting system is enormous and easily worth the prices they charge. I highly recommend the app, a really reliable piece of software (never crashes or freezes) with proper development & support (which I have used on several occasions to answer my queries).Version: 4.5.0

Very nice appThe app does what's it suppose to..Version: 2.6.1

The BestThis is simply the best app there is for the hue system!.Version: 2.6.1

Great customer supportI always felt the regular hue app was enough for me, when they removed widget support and made it to be where you have to use shortcuts I hated it. With this app I have my widget back! So many options too and their customer support is great. I had an issue and they got back to me with detailed instruction despite it being an error on my end. 5/5 stars!.Version: 4.10.6

Most intuitive Hue app!I’ve used quite a few Hue apps and I can honestly say this is the best one! Also make sure you buy the addons (Animations etc) well worth the money! I have just over 60 devices and the app manages all the timers, rules and rooms seamlessly..Version: 5.0.2

The best Hue app for iOSThis is, by far, the best Hue app for iOS. Feature rich and easy to use. If you’re using Hue you need this..Version: 3.3.1

Blink on sensorIt would be really useful to be able to set the blink brightness bare minimum. It seems to use the previous setting which can often be so dim it’s useless. The colour and how long it blinks for before returning to the previous setting would also be useful.Version: 3.7.4

Fun and functionalI love this app as a companion to my increasing Hue-covered house. I feel like I've gotten more than my money's worth and I have just scratched the surface of its capability. The interface can sometimes be a bit challenging, and I'd love to see some stronger integration to homekit and Siri. All that said it's a great app and we'll worth the subscription, especially if you've got kids in the house who like to be wow'ed by animated colors and impromptu dance parties complete with light show..Version: 4.3.1

FantasticFunctional, practical with a well thought out UI. Lots of features but simple to use. Optional widget is highly customizable. Well worth the purchase price..Version: 2.2.1

Buy itLiterally just bought this app and went about and set it all up. Actually wiped my hue app clean to let this app control everything. I love how it controls the motion sensor and switches. 12/10 app Endless possibilities Support for more than one bridge Same music options as the hue sync Love it.Version: 3.7.1

Just Stop looking and Use this AppAnyone invested in the Philips Hue ecosystem for as long as I have has probably spent hours on end looking for the best application that just “works”. I have been a Phillips Hue user now for over 3 years (which is an eternity in the IOT world) and have tried at least 20 different apps and have spent a lot of money on some of those apps only to be disappointed. I’ve been using iConnectHue for well over a year now and it continues to get better and better and handle my crazy smart home with ease. I have an assortment of 45 smart Phillips Hue bulbs, 6 Hue Dimmers, 4 Hue Taps, 3 Hue Motion Detectors and use this app daily (even when deployed overseas I would check in on the House). I think I’ve used the native Phillips app only twice in the last year. Learn from my mistake, don’t waste hours scavenging the App Store and loads of money experimenting on other apps. Get iConnectHue now and use that time and money on something that works!.Version: 3.1.4

Best Hue control app... Hands downI hardly ever write reviews... but, if every app was this well written, executed and maintained I would write many more. Seriously, hats off to the developer. Smashing effort. I have become so dependent on this app that the Today Widget has now become muscle memory (more so than using light switch:) Great work! 5/5.Version: 2.6.1

Worth the Pro Subscription! This app solves a lot of the problems that controlling Hue lights with the Philips Hue app or Home app have, and it integrates some third-party products too. The thing that makes it worth the Pro subscription for me is the amazing widget support and really handy Apple Watch app. There is a simple complication for the watch faces that leads you to the app where you can control lights by room or group. People are pretty impressed when I control the lights with a few taps on my wrist, and every time I do that I feel like I’m living in the future. iConnect Hue makes some things possible that are either impossible or too hard to do with the Hue or Home apps. Animations, custom groupings that span rooms, “magic” scenes that let you change brightness or rearrange which lights get which color, third-party lights and switches in the same app, cleaning up old timers or phantom rooms/lights, entertainment scenes for parties, and more. I’ve tried many other apps that make big promises, but I keep coming back to iConnect Hue. The only thing that it doesn’t seem to do is control my Nanoleaf devices, but that’s not enough of a downside to make me change my rating from five to four stars. This app just works, and the author is continually improving it and adding features. I wish all my paid apps provided this much value..Version: 4.12.2

Incredibly useful appThis app is amazing. It fills in the gaps on simple things like using a switch to activate a scene, bypass motion sensors, and act as a toggle (if on turn off, if off turn on). There are features that require in app purchases, however the value you get with the base app is definitely worth the initial cost and I’m sure the add-ons are equally worth it. The developer has added so much to this app, Philips’ app doesn’t even come close..Version: 4.1.2

Great app - what the Philips app should beGreat functionality which extends the usefulness of the hue lights and sensors. Particularly like the way it adds functionality to the accessories such as the motion sensor and dimmer switch.Version: 2.7.0

Best app for Philips Hue!Great app, the free version has enough functionality to make it useful, but go and buy the in app purchases. They are really worth it too..Version: 3.3.1

The best third party appI have Phillips hue all over my house and whilst the hue app is great and better now it’s had an update. This app still offers more in terms of customisation of your bulbs. The guys at cross fire are fantastic if you are unsure on something send them an email and they are very quick to respond with either a solution or advice. I have had this app since buying my first hue bulb but thought I’d give it a while before reviewing it on here. I love it the way you can make your own scenes and animations is brilliant. I would recommend buying the full app as you get so much for the money. Can’t wait for the next update which may contain some more fantastic pre made scenes and animations. Well done crossfire 👍🏻.Version: 3.1.8

Must have for Hue LightsThis app adds so much extra features that is not available on the factory Hue app. Lot going to write a long review, just if you are interested google search or YouTube. Perfect for people wanting more out of there Hue lights. Well worth the money, as amount of work in building / maintaining this app would be very time consuming I would imagine..Version: 3.7.2

IHueJust want to say that this looks like a great app to control your Hue and Friends of Hue lights. I’ve not been through all the functions yet so this review maybe a little early. However, I’m a little saddened that I cannot run the Discotainment addon. After purchasing this I only then read that it’s Hue lights only, I am running a third party strip light controllers which the App does see but not the addon. Not the apps fault just wish I’d read the info before purchase. Will this ever be implemented?.Version: 4.2.2

I waited to make my review, now I am readyThe best out there and it keeps getting better. When I first got this app a couple of years ago, it was only slightly better than the Phillips version. Now, in June 22, 2021 I am ready. Although the app has a couple of minor idiosyncrasies, they are easily overcome. The developer of the app is constantly updating what appears to be his pride and joy. For the most part, the app is 99% intuitive. I have about 9 Phillips bulbs and about 5 more to go before I am complete. Get this app, it is far better than the Phillips version..Version: 4.6.4
