✓ Great…Until You Hit the WallEasily would have been 5 stars except it becomes ridiculous to level up unless you are spending LOTS of money. I started playing and got three of my friends to play because it was so good. All of us bought the ad free version, oh wait, I mean the ad free month, for $10. That was great but around level 25 everything grinds to a halt. I’m the only one of my friends who got past level 25. But I can’t get past 26. I’m all for grinding some in games, and since it was a game I really enjoyed I opted to pay $10. But there are so many things to level up and little bonus things each week to earn more stuff but all of those things costs lots of money. I’d rather make a one time purchase and level up at a normal pace. And I’d expect it to get more difficult as it did. But when you can’t advance without taking out a loan, I’ve got to stop. So, sadly I will be deleting this game as my friends did as well. You were fun for awhile Zombie Waves!.Version: 1.4.0
✓ Bad rngThe game overall is decent I have beta test many of these types of games and this one has the worse rng on stages it’s has a lot of flaws and you purchasing won’t help you advance much… the skills rng with the stages makes some levels pointless to play it’s set so the developers control your progress so you don’t move forward quicker than you should Ads don’t come out sometimes and in the end this game becomes very repetitive … has a good concept but this game won’t last long after the repetitive bad rng and adding extra hp to levels enemies that should instantly die… might want to rethink the marketing plan I would gave it a 2* but it has it merits this is not a pay to win game so you don’t have to pay anything it’s bad rng to guarantee loss…. ✓ Do not download no support super ad heavySo they events regularly which is awesome however to do anything in the event you either need to spend 200. Dollars or save like crazy from start of the game okay that’s the starting point. During one of these events I used the equivalent to 300 dollars of crystals to progress the ranks cause you get choice box’s meaning you pick the s rank loot or better stuff. I made it past 120 but it was bugged the bar filled the counter counted up fun times it wouldn’t let me take my rewards so I was like okay bug restart app. Guess what. Nope still couldn’t no matter what I tried so I reached out to customer service like day 2 of the event and in good faith kept playing the event cause you know you expect at least to get rewards when that happens As a matter of fact I provided multiple screen shots as proof as well and their response….. nothing they couldn’t even be bothered to respond so I’m essense you’ll notice this game is money hungry when a trash weapon is 100 usd but keep in mind no support do not download unlesss you want some cheap thrills for a couple days before deleting oh also SUPER AD HEAVY.Version: 1.4.5

✓ GarbageLike most games they try to get you to pay hundreds of dollars to advance quickly. You dont need to if you enjoy spending time playing. A special character came up and you could win points towards earning him in game or spend $$$ to get him faster. It’s only available for a week so if you want it you have to work for it. I had done like 6 spins won in game and gotten 50% there but was coming up on the final day. I figured this might be worthwhile to actually spend money on so I figured buying 11 spins for $9.99 would be worth it. I had 6 spins and got to 50% so 11 spins has to take me all the way right? Nope. To my surprise after I spent the $$ I only got 5% more toward the character… are you serious? This is garbage. Nope, they stole my money. I emailed them and got no response. ✓ My OpinionThe game is fun even with the adds but is making even write a comment when I usually dont because of one issue. Every time you are in the store if you are farming diamonds to buy late weapons but u accidentally scroll down the store it will spent the diamonds on the premium packages because the game doesn’t ask you if you really want to spent the diamonds on it, it just do it if you scroll and press it by mistake. This happen to me 4 times to the point that I have to take a break from the game because I keep doing it..Version: 1.4.3

Also I tried to upgrade some s tier gear to gold and found I couldn’t. Turns out I need a second piece of s tier of the same kind? That’s ridiculous. ✓ Energy barThis game has a limited energy—meaning you can’t play more than five games without waiting for an absurd amount of time (one stamina per 10 minutes, and it takes 10 stamina for one try). You can lose a game in less than 90 seconds, which I’ve done, only to restart and with luck beat the same level. What a disaster of a game design. The sad part is the game is otherwise well made, except for the cheap unoriginal graphics. Why not incrementally improve the speed of stamina regrowth as you level up? Or give stamina for ad watches like other games? There’s only 3 stamina purchases per day, aside from the 5 tries you can get from ad watches… Why so stingy? The visuals are great. The depth is respectable and just the right size. The zombies are cool and it’s a blast to face hordes of them. Its a really, really fun game. I’ve been playing a bunch lately and finally came upon what others have pointed out. There’s a point where you can’t really advance properly without spending money. We’re not talking $.99 cents here and there… it will soon become $20 amounts that give you the necessary boost to carry on. Till the next time you need to spend $20, I’d assume. ✓ Garbage game with addicting qualities.This is just a money grab. Entirely designed to take your money. They make a fun game and then they lock everything behind a paywall. The only way to progress forward is to collect your miserable 300 diamonds per day (if you pay the $10 for the battle pass) and then you have to come back for 100 because you’re going to need 30,000 for the next weapon that is strong enough to allow you to pass the next levels… the system of progression is intentionally made to ensure that you either spend money or you feel the SLOW MONTHS LONG GRIND to get enough to move forward at all. Not even that far in and you hit a wall making it close to impossible to progress unless you spend money, and it’s very expensive. There are also way too many watch ads for rewards mechanics and when combined with the previous issue the game becomes a daily login and watch 10 minutes of ads to progress. The particle effects in this game literally work against you. At a certain point there is so much visual clutter on the screen that you cannot see where enemies are you just die because you’re unable to react and there is no setting to reduce or remove it..Version: 1.4.3

✓ Fun until the grind!Wrote a 5 star review previously. It was 5 stars for the first maybe 5 levels. The grind does kick in, and you can still have fun for a short while. BUT not long before it becomes offensive and you are seriously under powered and under equipped to survive. There’s 10s of videos you can watch for very low rewards, which is a bit gross. Combine that with the energy system and the almost-sudden vertical difficulty curve… equals a real shame. Game has massive potential. Nice to see a revenue update, but it just screams more grind and more pay-2-win. A good example of how bad it gets are the challenges you have to complete to be able to update some of your base. One is to complete a game with the RPG….but by the time you get to this requirement, the RPG is severely under powered and pretty much impossible to do. Of course, you can pay money to get the weapon upgrades….there is very very very low chance of earning enough upgrade tokens normally…and the higher level upgrades need another type of upgrade token of course. Overall, started off promising, was really fun and difficulty progression felt fair…. but just the sudden wall you hit is grotesque. The sheer amount of grinding you will have to do is really spectacular and unrealistic….unless you cough up for the various passes and bundles. Tried two more times with no avail. On Dec 7th I see a charge for three purchases. This is obviously an error because you can’t unlock the same character multiple times. I submit an issue to Apple for the purchase and was denied. This game owes me a significant sum of money and so far I’ve received no feedback as to why they feel I should t receive a refund. ✓ The game is fun but….As the title says, the game is really well done and a lot of fun. However, you hit a paywall where it’s really hard to make past if you don’t sink money in to it. And if you do decide to put money in to it, they’ve done it in such a way that they draw out objectives requiring you to put in an excessive amount of money to get items. For instance, the character pull gives you some character shards up front, but in my last 45 pulls I’ve only received 5 shards (and you need 100!). Upgrading weapons is very expensive and you just keep getting items like clothing that do almost absolutely nothing but just add to your collection. BUT…big issues with some of the “currency” required to advance. I was progressing nicely, but lately, after the latest update, every time I’d leave the game and come back in the main currency used to “buy” stuff (don’t know what it’s called - little blue pills with “z” on them is what I’d call them) would be reset to a cap 1400. I had advanced well above that level several times only to have the currency taken away the next time I login to the game. It’s a shame, it I’ve now deleted the game because it’s pointless to play without being able to accumulate the one currency you need to buy upgrades. Suddenly, everything is reset and I have no rating in the virtual tournament. When I play a couple more rounds, I end up at like #299. Super. Went to the “app support” and it goes to the web site of some company that wants you to sign up for them to promote your game. If this is an example of “promotion,” I guess it failed. ✓ 1 problem but its a big one.Once you hit a certain point theres a HUGE pay wall. Im not talking a couple dollars to get a leg up. 40,50 dollars doesnt even put a dent in what is needed to keep progressing. Anything past the golden tier weapons are so expensive that a free to play player would never be able to get it. Hell if you are funding it with real money your still looking at 150 dollars for the upgrade 1 time.. thats insane.. Development Team need to take a good hard long look at some balances between in game currency and what they think people are willing to pay to upgrade a weapon up 1 tier. ✓ Fun, mechanics make it not funThis game is a very fun roguelike game, but there are multiple features that make it not so fun. The main feature being debuffs. It makes literally no sense that an upgrade is going to make me weaker, that typically is just an attempt to fix poor balancing. What really makes no sense is the Tomes from bosses giving debuffs. None of the Tomes are ever worth getting because the debuff is so severe, especially taking away 1 entire HP, that’s nuts. Defeating a boss should be hard and be rewarded, and when you have to pick which skill is going to make you weaker afterwards it’s almost a slap in the face. Speaking of rewards, almost nothing is rewarded in this game. You get your basic coins and stuff from a level, but that’s it. Everything requires an ad or ingame currency. The game itself is fun, but it’s just been run through your typical mobile game algorithm for it to be really good..Version: 1.5.2

✓ Fun Game - In game ads don’t work consistentlyGame is fun however the in-game ads do not work the majority of the time. It’s frustrating when you want to watch the ads for the rewards daily however you can’t because they don’t load. When I click to watch the video a message prompt pops up saying “You can only get the reward by watching the full video Ad”. Hard to watch the video ad when it doesn’t load. The hero’s AI is trash and always shoots in a way to make sure you get hit by not shooting at the closest target. Typical money grabbing arcade tactic. You can be completely outside of the red warning area for boss hits and still get hit. You need a lot of supplies to upgrade stuff and never to barely get them in drops, but guess what, you can buy small amounts of the mass quantities of the stuff you need for high amounts of real money. No confirmation on purchases so you wind up accidentally spending in game currency on stuff you don’t want while simply trying to scroll and there’s no way to get it back. ✓ This game has potentialThis game has potential, but it’s mostly just a money grab!! getting the Tesseracts to upgrade Your weapons is next to impossible. Also, when I’m playing around somebody that has the same game on their phone they have more power than me, but aren’t as far in the game as I am and I noticed that elites and bosses don’t always drop equipment. ✓ Arena needs work, game slows waaaay downThe arena is broken, the power levels of players has to be wrong, I’m regularly beat by players with half my CP. End of Arena fight details are junk, there is no breakdown of abilities or weapons used, it just shows total hero damage and bot damage. There needs to be a more detailed breakdown so players can adjust. Overall the game slows down immensely after you reach a certain point. It takes ages to upgrade gear and weapons. Please make changes to the after fight Arena breakdowns. Either a combo of abilities is broken and allowing players to effectively cheat, or something else is happening. ✓ Black Ad screen of deathI’ve been enjoying this game quite a bit until recently when I watch and ad and it gets stuck on a black ad screen with a white letter x to close out of the screen. The x won’t do anything and I’m forced to close the game entirely and go back in. Since this is at the beginning of the round, I’ve lost 10 energy. Pretty disheartening. While it’s a decently fun game, player beware, you may lose some joy due to this and may consider a different game. I do hope it’s resolved soon though. However once you get to higher levels the difficulty just spikes and then continues to spike when you eventually get to upgrade your character after a load of grinding. ✓ Was fun until major paywall at Level 25 :(Like others had said here, this would be a great game, except that they put a major pay wall at level 25. The only way to continue progressing in the game is if you spend a lot of money. And it gets way too complicated with all these different add-ons that are not clear how they help or even what you’re supposed to do with them. I invested in the game because I was enjoying it but there’s no way to progress unless you spend hundreds of dollars, which I will not do. A few of the problems that are easy fixes and i along with several others have tried to tell the company to please look into are the ads you have to watch if you don’t want to spend a lot of money only load 3/4rths of the time and also it’s way to easy to accidentally click on purchases that take away a huge amount of Z diamonds (The games currency) from you. Legendaries are almost impossible to acquire unless you open up the wallet. The new updates with items that improve gameplay you never see or quite understand how they work (virtual combat? Resets every week? Makes no sense). The recent updates feel like worthless fluff offering no substantial player content, just more avenues to increase dev sales in real money. I bought into the game already, constantly coming at me for more becomes annoying. Some improvements that would be helpful; 1: can we change up the character looks ready? No character customization despite acquiring gear that takes an eternity to upgrade! 2: Bosses don’t change, no storyline; really? not even a paper thin one? 3: Some new skill tree development is necessary. It is beyond frustrating that the ai doesn’t offer skill powers that coordinate with your gun early on when playing…on extreme levels you might as well quit when the random skills have not one thing to do with your guns skills. (Smite or aegis shield with the volt gun for example…waste waste waste). New abilities and visuals would be nice too. ✓ Fun but greedy gameWhile i do enjoy this game because it is in the style that i like there are very many others out there. I started out free, but decided i liked it enough to spend some money. Turns out if you would like to reach some more end game perks like s type armors or weapons to reach their level red, you either will grind for a very very long time or end up spending ridiculous amounts of money for one item to get to red (the highest tier). Those who play and dont know, it takes 1000 chips and 25 tesseracts to get a weapon to red. Armors need the same type and kind in double to get them to gold, then you’d need 2 4-star golds to get it to red. S-type armor is rare as it is, good luck getting 2 of the same let alone 6 to get to red Game developer is greedy, hasn’t responded to my email about how they took away a perk I PAID FOR. Perk allowed me PERMAMNENT access to more gems each time i complete a lvl as the description said when i paid for it, then took it away after a certain lvl. Considering reporting to BBB for fraudulent business practices because I paid for something with a clear description and apparently didnt get that..Version: 1.4.3

With 3 hours of purchases, the game was unplayable. Spend money to boost your gear and stats? First off when you’re winning it’s fun, but if you’re not spending money the enemies become unbeatable, the bosses have unlimited hit range even tho it’ll show your outside of it. Needing to grind to level up with out mortgaging your house…nope can’t even beat levels you’ve already beaten, items you need to strengthen don’t drop nearly enough, been stuck trying to get items to epic for weeks.
