✓ Game reset itself; now forced to play training game?No support - app support sends to their home page with ZERO help. UKEN clearly does not value your time. If you use their services on Apple Arcade which is a paid service, and they do not answer for blatant flaws, I guess the problem is us, the trusting customer. Apple needs to reconsider any alliance with UKEN. APPLE ARCADE THIS APP DOES NOT WORK AND UKEN ‘APP SUPPORT’ DOES NOT LINK TO SUPPORT. CAN YOU PLEASE TAKE THIS APP OUT OF THE LINEUP? How does a person fix this game if it fails? The amount of time it is taking to play the training game is more than this is worth to me. And there is no reason for the game to have malfunctioned to my knowledge. I have uninstalled and reinstalled. The Game Center will not connect. Am I the first one to report this via a review? This has been over a week now and heads up UKEN - please don’t heavy-handedly force anyone ever to waste their time going through a tutorial without an out. Anyone who is viewing this review, UKEN has been a notoriously terrible company for support so i haven’t bothered. ✓ Broken soon after last updateHave been playing this since launch, it’s a good bus ride game. A few days after the last update it stopped connecting to online services though. Did everything I could to try and resolve it, eventually reinstalled the app and now it just sits on the boot screen with an empty loading bar so seems completely broken. Was a good run but is now borked I guess. Will try it again if there is another update but for now I wouldn’t recommend anyone invests any time into it if it can just die after a few weeks..Version: 1.0.2

✓ Clumsy and unbalanced attempt at the popular showThis should be a lot more fun than it is but sadly it’s let down by poor design and obvious biased behaviour. The questions can range from stupidity easy to ridiculous obtuse in the space of one space on the board. Often you can receive a unbelievably hard question for a low level question and other times a very easy question for a high level tier. Then the other clearly cheap/cheat/biased part of the game involves you competing against supposedly a human player giving its answers for the same questions (clearly a fake AI player) and if you don’t beat them you lose all your progress and get zilch. Needles to say the fake player gets the most insanely difficult questions right over and over so you get nothing time and time again. Add to that the fact that the ask the audience and call an experts are useless 90% of the time and you begin to see what a poor effort this game is and not worth your time after a few goes for novelties sake..Version: 1.0.3

There’s a daily bonus, daily challenges, other challenges spread over multiple days, after you use your experts you have to wait for them to be usable again, there’s an in-game currency that in the Apple Arcade version is largely pointless. ✓ Too AmericanThe questions are written for American players. Loads of questions about US Presidents, USA geography (states, capitals, natural features) and the meanings of American English phrases and idioms. It means the difficulty is terribly calibrated for anyone not from the USA. I’ve had so many questions that are supposed to be “easy” about USA presidents. Like this is anything anyone outside the USA would commonly know. So many bible questions as well! I keep getting obscure knowledge of bible facts as the first one or two “easy” questions. I find the questions end up being very similar and if you are not from the USA the amount of questions on states of America gets rather tedious. ✓ Need improvementAn ok game but there are numerous things that need fixed. One, it makes no sense as to why you’re playing another person. The game show is a single player show so the game should be also. It’s really annoying to get really far into a game but then miss a question and get nothing because you didn’t beat the opponent. Two, the fun is in upgrading the experts but the prices are astronomical AND you don’t even get to choose which category the expert gets upgraded in. You could pay 100,000 to upgrade an expert (equivalent of winning a million dollars for 13 games!!) and then the game puts the upgrade into a random category that doesn’t help you..Version: 1.0.3

It seems to think you have all the time in the world to play it. Basically, you have to play it 24/7 in order to advance in the tier system. ✓ Differs greatly from the television showFirst attempt to play this, it got stuck on the screen that’s apparently uploading data about boxes, etc. For some reason it has this ‘world tour’ thing going on that has become commonplace in quizzes & word games recently. What is the point of it? There’s some bias towards an American audience (even the questions are answered for amounts in dollars). This is yet another Apple Arcade game available on the UK AppStore not tailored for the local markets. Who’s this other person I’m apparently playing against? That’s not how the television show worked. Nor is the timer element - I didn’t even realise that was going on until I’d suddenly lost during a bout of sneezing. Even the music is nothing like that on the television show… There are so many other extras that detract from the game & alter the gameplay that I’m surprised that it’s able to keep the moniker of the television show. Half the time it’s not clear what to press on to proceed, so I’ve been prodding at various things onscreen hoping something would happen. Loot boxes and currencies have basically destroyed gaming on iPhone. Apple Arcade is a paid service so the games should be trying to maximize fun, not try to hook you with “free to play” gimmicks that are designed to make a game “addictive” in the worst sense of the word. ✓ Some wrong answers but decent gameFirst, it’s fantastic you can play offline, without connecting to the public game. I don’t like playing games with other people. It would be nice if they quit asking after you say “no” to online play. It’s a good trivia game and mostly faithful to the television show. However, there are some balance issues in terms of progression and leveling that weren’t ironed out before it ported to the Arcade. Most annoying is that there is no way to easily report typos or incorrect answers. It’s really annoying to answer a question, be told it is wrong (when you know what the answer is), and then a 15-second google proves you correct. They need to either make it easier to report incorrect answers or do a better job fact-checking. Despite that, it’s still fun. Second only to Hanx Trivia in the arcade..Version: 1.0.2

✓ Pay to win junk should not be on ArcadeThis game was fun for the first 3-4 rounds until Ada Lovelace quickly became unbeatable. The game has lifelines JUST like the real thing! But unlike them these are boosts that you unlock through loot box mechanics and you have a limited quantity. But don’t worry, when you run out, you can spend your millionaire coins to use them! Just like you can pay to avoid getting a wrong answer. But somehow, when your opponent is unbeatable, you lose more coins than you gain, and winning is impossible without more coins to beat the computer. It’s an ugly cycle that feels like they stripped the IAP mechanic out of and hamfisted into Apple Arcade on a technicality. Avoid this game unless you like wasting your time..Version: 3.0.0

There are annoying bugs such as a missing icon for the currency used to "secure" your latest level's score, or a tutorial that pops up everytime you claim an experdition reward. I’d just like to go through questions, see how far I can get and maybe use lifelines when needed. Also the questions are rather difficult - I know on the TV show, playing along I could always get to about 12-13 but now even by 7-8 they’re odd. Very US-centric despite being an English creation! The timer needs to chill out too. In the TV show, they read the question, display the answers, then start the clock. Here, it just goes straight into a ticking clock - and I’m not the best reader in the world so it takes me most of the time to get through the actual question! The theme could tie in with the show better too. Currently it just looks like any online gambling website.
