✓ BASS!This app sounds great. I haven’t really tried making my own patches yet and tbh it is a bit intimidating with all the modulation options, but there are a lot of super usable presets that come with it and I love the sound. One quibble: if you want Background Audio on for the standalone version, for some reason the app NEVER saves this setting. Not sure why… it’s really the only setting under Configuration I need to change so I tried changing a few others, closing the app and re-opening to see if it was an issue across all the settings… it’s not! It just won’t save Background Audio as on. Should be fixed. Another quibble: dang this is a very CPU-hungry synth. I run a 2018 iPad Pro so it’s not exactly the latest tech, but when I add an instance of Mariana in AUM or Loopy Pro, the DSP % goes up by like 30-40%… waaaaay more than any other synth I own (including the other Moogs). ✓ 😎k Let’s get funkyDid not know about this until today. Glad Moog is on iPad and I’m digging it, will be stacking my sounds to achieve Parliament-Funkadelics, Roger Troutman, Bernie Worrel sounds! ✓ Early Impressions, major flawOver all this seems like an incredible synth, but there appears to be no way to use its native keyboard in AUM? It can obviously be played by other MPE capable midi plugins but that requires additional configuration and often idiosyncratic changes to the sound from the keyboard in the native app. Would be great to not only have access to the keyboard in resizable plugin window, but to be able to load it standalone as a midi processor. While using standalone the expressiveness of this synth is its greatest feature..Jubal E.Version: 1.0.0

✓ New updateEnjoying it a lot more with with the 24db slope option for tighter punchier bass. A nice analog sounding synth with its own character. Would have been nice some sort of audio rate (FM or fast LFOs) but can’t have it all. CPU usage got better but hope there’s further optimisations to come. There’s a few bugs here and there: presets not reloading sounding correctly with the right slope, noise volume sometimes goes super quiet etc…seems readjusting a few parameters gets it all back sounding correctly..SimlogueVersion: 1.1.0

✓ MOOG HAS DONE IT AGAINMoog being the most famous of all synth makers has done it again. With this new software synth app for both Windows, Mac, and iPAD. Half priced intro, and 3 add on’s. Each add on has multiple presets. This synth is so deep and involved it truly is one worthy of any Synth Guru. 5 noise types, 5 sign waves, (hope I got that right), multiple settings on every aspect that it has to offer,(control wise). I’m no expert but you can spend many a time learning all this has to offer. The sound quality is there and with all it has a little over 300 presets. Bob Moog would be proud. ✓ Well it’s Moog, isn’t it?Much more than just mega-bass sounds. Like all Moog’s IOS apps, Mariana does not disappoint. The sounds are rich as Croesus and deep as, well, the Marianas Trench - which is where they must have got the name. Really intuitive interphase so creating your sounds from scratch is a cinch. I’ve only had this for a few hours, but I already know I’ll be using this a great deal in my IOS music-making..AnsonortVersion: 1.0.0
