✓ Great easy to use video cameraI'm impressed with the camera's simple power and uncluttered interface. works great so far on my 6+ - i haven't tried any in-app editing, I am grateful to record straight to camera roll where I export for editing on FCPX. perhaps I'll try on-phone editing on a smaller project in future but it's not practical on my current doco project. if the editing is as good as the camera, it should certainly give iMovie some competition. the camera alone justifies the cost to me. i hope it doesn't get 'over developed' like some other camera apps but at the same time hope it doesn't become abandonware!!.Version: 2.11
✓ Finally after 3 years they decided to update itI got this application for photography on my iPhone 5 3.5 years ago and it was very outstanding for this device but then I upgraded to the iPhone 7 plus and when I installed this application on it I noticed that doesn't have neither 4k video recording or slow motion and the maximum file editing limit is 30mb but now this update brings back all that features and more. ✓ Good but needs improvementHi! This is the only one of a kind video app that can ACTUALLY PAUSE video while taking it! One problem, THERE IS NO PAUSE BUTTON but in your description and pictures there are. Maybe I just can't find it so could you maybe make a tutorial of how to use the app and make it available all the time? Thank you! Other than that, this app is great! ✓ Great appI use this for filming skateboarding with a selfie stick and a deathlens fisheye. I would like to be able to plug the wired selfie stick into the headphone jack and press the button on the selfie stick to toggle record. Please build this in! ✓ Great app - here's some suggestionsVideon allows you to record video at a variety of resolutions and frame rates, and has all the camcorder controls you need: auto/manual focus, white balance and exposure. It's got a camcorder-like wheel zoom which is awesome, and the app has three different zoom speed settings - also great. It also allows you to create a single video from two or more video clips that you've recorded in the app. It doesn't add transitions or titles (get iMovie to do that), but it has many other editing tools: trim, straighten (if the view is tilted), mute, resize, etc. - a decent set of tools to be sure. The app's recording interface needs a makeover - it obscures a bit too much of the view, and should be made less obtrusive. I also don't like that you can't export more than one clip at a time from the editor to the camera roll. Videon is still a very good app if you don't want to get iMovie to do the final editing..Version: 2.30

✓ Better than Filmic Pro?For some reason filmic pro video recorded using 5s or 6+ has this peculiar noise throughout the image even in bright light. For that reason I looked for an alternative to filmic pro that allowed manual exposure and focus settings. The resulting video is very clear. I don't like the too sensitive dual exp and focus reticles that merge together if I tap one or the other. I think there is a way to set that to not do that. Because each time I set the exp then try to set the focus, if not done very delicately, the exposure reticle remedies back with the focus reticle and also resets the exposure at that new location. Waste moments resetting this when it happens. It will receive external mic input, but it sure if I can set audio levels to manual yet. Still exploring. Works on iPad Air and 6+. The video noise in filmic pro also happens on both the 5s and 6+. I took a star because of the hassle of not being able to keep the exposure and focus reticles from resetting, as well as not being able to control audio input manually when using external mic..Version: 2.11
✓ Great all around video appI love just about everything about this app. The editing and recording functions are great. The main reason I purchased the app was for the pause record feature. This is a nice feature because it allows you to shoot multiple times and only create a single clip/file. I just wish that the Pause button was bigger and further away from the Record button so it would be harder to accidentally hit the wrong one..Version: 2.30

✓ AMAZING!I'm a hardcore app critic as I've tried more than 2,000+ apps in my life time and out of all the video editing/recording apps I've used, this one is BY FAR the best one I've encountered. Its so well built, I can safely say it has even completely replaced default camera app for iPhone (which I don't look back upon!). This is one of the very few cases where I can say its worth every cent paying for it. Very easy to use, simple yet customizable, and very fast. Gets you what you want with very specific information regarding the recordings which many other apps fail to provide. If I was to recommend an app to a frequent videographer, this is an essential. Unfortunately when you are on the review screen there is a plus sign with a box around it next to videos and if you push it all the videos disappear and then you can't do anything. This app makes my photos look so much nicer because of the focus and the box that shows precisely where the middle if the photo/ video is. I was trying to take a video of deer eating bird seed out of the bird feeder, but you couldn't barely even see the deer, and then u remembered that I had this app. I quickly opened it and it really fast started recording and I could zoom in and it looked great And crisp. Plus there is an editor in this app! WOW THIS SHOULD BE IN TOP CHARTS! I Am blown away with this app. Only one thing that I wish of this app is that it should be able to flip over into portrait mode so I can take photos and videos in that kind of type because sometimes I get so frustrated I can't do that that I start to look for other apps, but there just aren't any like this one.
