✓ Disappointed in updateI really love this app, I’ve been using it for years! However, in the last two weeks I have noticed I can only search for transactions by name when I used to be able to search by anything having to do with the transaction- amount, name, notes... I loved this feature because (as long as I added notes) I could always look back any see what I spent on a particular item, even if I couldn’t remember where I got it. Or even check the date I purchased it just by searching for key words I added in the notes. Another thing I noticed is when I add a transaction from a repeat merchant, the app auto populates the notes section with whatever I put there the last time. While that’s not a deal breaker for me, I do find it annoying. The thing that could potentially be a deal breaker is the search function being limited to just the transaction name. That has substantially limited the convenience I have so appreciated from this app for a number of years..Richly notVersion: 1.12.11

✓ App has issuesThis app has issues that the developer gets emailed about and does nothing to fix them. The app will lose $10-$15 somewhere and you can’t find it. Your bank account will be correct but this app will not be and the developer will defend their app over a bank that is a federally regulated institution. Come on... On the bright side, this is one of the only check register apps that doesn’t have pop up ads. That is worth gold in my opinion. Would rate this app 0 stars if it had ads. But ultimately at the end of the day I’m trying to keep track of my finances and this app doesn’t do it..MofuggahVersion: 1.11.8

✓ Decent app considering it is free.This app does what I needed to do most of the time. Heaven for bid I should have to reset my phone because the app will keep subtracting things that are not even showing up on my check register anymore. So in other words, it subtract the money even though I had to reset my phone and the entries are not there. Then I had to delete the app and re-download it and start all over again. My biggest complaints are the cost of extra features. That is way more money than it should be. I will just keep using the free version, thank you very much..TyjjohnsonVersion: 1.11.5

✓ Fully upgraded and the BAM!!!I have been using this app for years and had auto upgrade turned on. I wish that I hadn’t. When I was fully upgraded I could manage multiple accounts and I had no ADs. All of a sudden they changed the game and decided to make a money grab and switch to a subscription platform with NO notice and no grandfather clause for us existing users. Every time I go now to update my register I have HUGE AD BANNERS in the middle of my check register UNLESS I want to switch to one of their monthly subscription plans. I absolutely refuse to do so. I will pay another company before I give into their tactics. Now on the hunt for another app…...MeekssmithVersion: 2.5.8

✓ Horrible sync issuesI have had horrible syncing issues ever since February or March and continue to have issues where me or my wife input a charge and it won’t show up to sometimes even up to 48 hrs later. I have tried restarting both our devices more than once, tried both multiple WiFi and my cellular networks for my cell and both our home WiFi and my wife’s cellular network(we are with two different cellular providers). It has gotten to the point of we are about to start looking for a different check register app to use to try and get a better sync quality and crossover between the phones. Also if you need help they are super slow to respond and you have to have the apple native mail app as your primary email app to send them an email. That’s a joke..JKiperVersion: 2.3.2

✓ Recent Disappoinment...I have had the app since Oct 2013, and was generally happy with it. Only needed the basic free version as I just wanted something instead of a paper cheque register. About 6 months ago, there were some great upgrades: remembered similar transactions, etc. THEN the most recent update about a month ago... I started noticing the difference. If I made a error or wanted to change an entry, it would only do so once it was back in the main list if I pressed & depressed the clear button! And if I had changed the date, it no longer moved the entry up or down. It just stayed there. Not a huge deal, but a little annoying. FINALLY, the last couple days, a few times when I deleted an item, I noticed the running balance of cleared items, was no longer correct, even though the item was no longer listed. And yesterday I was consistently $10,500 OVER, and I went back through every transaction since Oct 2013. Finally very frustrated, I deleted the whole app & thus ALL the information and reloaded the app. So last night, I restarted from scratch, entered my starting balance from July 1, 2015... and everything looked good. I entered in transactions until end of month, then I purposely deleted a $500 one and then re added it. Everything still balanced correctly... But when I woke this morning... It was $500 off and now it was UNDER $500. I cannot continue like this, so I will leave it a day, and if it doesn't magically correct, I will delete it permanently. ✓ Ok AppThis makes an excellent cheque register, but it needs to accommodate recurring transactions and be able to reconcile to the bank. I assumed if I paid for the full upgrade it would give me this. Disappointed. Looking for another app..AmskrzypekVersion: 1.4.2
