✓ Money well spentI have been looking for an app that does this for ages. Synctastic is just simply amazing. I have over 900 contacts in 5 google contacts groups. It took less than 60 seconds for me to configure and sync them to iCloud contacts, groups intact. Wow!.Version: 7.6.0
✓ Not a Single Misstep YetHave been using since late 2015, and it has worked flawlessly and been steadily improved over the years, including backups and letting you easily review changes before making changes. Five stars for sure. However, the comparison continues to be cumbersome; it needs to be side-by-side. Right now, you can look at one OR the other contact “card”. Not only is the app awesome, the team is great as well. I was having an issue (not the app's fault) where the contacts app on my desktop computer was out of sync with the rest of my devices. The team went above and beyond to troubleshoot the issue with me and, after several attempts, we finally got it figured out - now my iCloud and Google contacts stay in sync across my Macbook, iPad and iPhone AUTOMATICALLY. ✓ This rocks...Within the limits imposed by iOS and Google, this app does exactly what it says on the tin - it does a darn near perfect job of syncing contacts, preserving the Google contact group structure in iOS. And when you back-to-back it with a Windows product called Gsyncit, you have superb end-to-end integrity with your categorised Outlook contacts. The nature of this challenge is inherently a bit complex, but the Synctastic devs have made it about as straightforward as one could hope for, as well as supporting it with some excellent built-in help resources - well done! The only minor shortcoming I've noticed is that when you create a new contact in iOS in a specific group, it is also placed by default in the "My Contacts" group in Google, as well as the group in which it was created. Fortunately that's easy enough to change in Google (or Outlook) if you don't want it to appear there, but hopefully the devs will address this in a future update. It's also worth noting that the basic version doesn't support the group functionality (as well as permitting only a limited number of records), so if you're looking for this kind of functionality, you'll have to make a leap of faith and spring for the in-app purchase (while you're at it, go crazy and cough up another $1 for the automation feature). ✓ The Best In The App Store!Because I have several email addresses and I try and keep all my contacts available regardless of which address I am using I run a real risk of having duplicate addresses. Accordingly finding a middle man to be the authority on addresses is very important to me. Most of the ones in 'the shop' are of little use. Synctastic finally met my needs. It took me a while to build up the courage to risk trusting the app with my address book of several hundred addresses but after several trials I finally screwed up my courage and went for broke.
