I don't like that there isn't a quick save or anything and I feel like when I go out of the app to check messages or something, I feel like it's going force shut down on me... About every 30 seconds or so, for about 10 seconds each time (for clarification, I'm in an area of sucky cell service while I've been playing it). ✓ Great game with one issueI really enjoy playing - great old-time RPG that isn't seen much any more. The only problem is the lag - it eventually slows and freezes, then it actually quits. When I open the app again it goes to the main screen and I have to go back to last saved point. Not a big deal in most play (just save often) but longer boss battles get frustrating when I have to keep trying to finish without it crashing. It seems to be related to music loop..Version: 1.8.4

Dungeons are not too long and the pace of the game is fast. But aside (and after) the main story there are lots of sidequest and powerups still available. ✓ This is a game about obesity and diabetes30 hours and 100% completion later, I say this: What kind of message does it send to impressionable gamers that you can refill your health by eating 10 bags of chips back to back? What kind of programmer encourages guzzling soda and beer by the hundreds to cast magic? This is complete BS. My beer consumption had never let me cast spells, and I don’t heal wounds when I eat chips and paninis! Worse, this game is a PETA-nightmare of slaughtering cute little pigs by the thousands and we don’t even get bacon as loot. How inconsiderate. ✓ Old school with new humorThe game reminds me of old school J-RPGs, but with silly main characters, a neat time traveling theme, and self-aware/ breaking the 4th wall NPC humor. Battles are turned based and items can be interesting such as healing using ‘potato chips’. You can customize the difficulty, window color and save at any time— which is great. The controls took me quite some time to get used to— I’m pretty sure they could have been more streamlined, or if there were an option to be able to edit/ change them I would’ve. I also wish there was a zoom in feature in the game because it can look quite small on the phone. I see that the main characters look worse than most of the other characters in the game— I know it must be on purpose but it’s odd. Despite my gripes about the controls/ main character the game is getting quite enjoyable. It’s worth giving the game a chance if you’re on the fence..Version: 1.9.0

The combat is enjoyable and well thought out with tons of options available in how to develop your characters as well as how to assign abilities, equipment, etc. There's lots of hidden secret stuff to find, gags to be found and fun references to nerd culture all throughout the game. The game works with skydrive but log in you have to leave the app, and when you come in the game restarts and doesn't download cloud saves. You just keep on following your quest chain, keep exploring, keep upgrading abilities, keep upgrading items and don't forget to SAVE, SAVE, SAVE!!! Abilities do far more damage then just attacking will. Some abilities do little damage but will stun, put to sleep or otherwise incapacitate your foes. Use those on big groups. It's got some great, funny dialogue (not for the kids) which is nice. ✓ Best RPG in a long time!This rpg in the vein of ff was extremely well done! I just finished the main quest and a few side quests in a little over 16 hours. It has a ton of humour which keeps it fresh and original. The game interface is very well done, intuitive and easy and quick to navigate. The level up system and amount of loot, gear and spells allows for a lot of customization. The boat and airship are a great addition too. I highly recommend this game..Version: 1.6.6.0
