✓ Great game, but needs some balancingThis is a great concept and game. I would give it 5 stars, except for two reasons. 1) Trooper recovery time should be slightly reduced; it’s not very fun when you have to wait an hour before you can play the game again. 2) Needs better multiplayer match balancing. It also needs more matches available. Not very fun to only have 1 or 2 matches you “might” have a chance at winning available. Because once you go against a superior army and get crushed, then you have to wait another hour to play (problem #1 above)..Version: 1.24.6

✓ Five star pvp funUltimately a pvp tournament game, PocketTroops is still glorious fun because of the irreverent humour throughout. Loading screens are witty, cutscenes are brilliant, the characters are comic-like in appearance and actions, and the whole visual style is compelling. There is some pve for xp and cash farming, but predominantly this is a pvp game. Pve has manual interventions and can cover multiple waves, whereas pvp is a fully automated shoot out between your squad and the enemy, so advantages boil down to training and equipment. Premium currency can be used for a leg up, and everything is very seductively priced, but honestly requires no real money. Watch an ad here and there, maybe while waiting on training to finish or wounds to heal. The developers knew what they wanted to do and have executed it very well. Bravo..Version: 1.24.6

There are ads but you are rewarded for viewing them and they aren’t forced on you anywhere in the game that I’ve seen so far. ✓ Game won’t open... 😞I really enjoyed playing this game and would continue to put more time into the game but after playing for a few days the game no longer opens when trying to start the game it crashes on the first loading screen about ninety percent of the time and the other ten percent it finally gets through the loading and proceeds to crash after about two seconds I did however check on the forums and I could not find anyone else having these same issues it’s definitely worth the try downloading hopefully you don’t have the same issues as me Originally rated at five stars but until I can continue to play I can only rate it a three.Version: 1.24.6

I didn’t understand the game mechanics for the first 2 weeks, might have only tried to play it 2 or 3 times in that time span. However I got bored, went back in to play on Monday and got the hang of it. I think that if your completely out of troops then u should stay protected until you have at least one troop in your army. I also think that you shouldn’t give high leveled army’s the option to attack low leveled ones or attack army’s of one or two. Well, one annoyance and one problem The annoyance is that the bosses disappear after an hour, pressuring the player to beat them in a certain amount of time, and if they're not levelled up enough, tough. This brings me onto the problem, which is as follows. The game relies on in-app purchases. I understand it is meant to be that kind of game, but it is designed so that without spending real money, your troops stay weak for a long time. I feel the game would be far more fun if it didn't rely so much on in-app purchases and, therefore, four stars is the best I can give it.Version: 1.24.6

I finished everything level and difficulty in the campaign a long time ago so maybe if you guys could add more campaign or maybe if you do add more to the campaign maybe a new role. ✓ Great game one major flawThe game is entertaining and addictive. Very well laid out and great battles. PvP is also balanced with a mixture of easy moderate and hard opponents. The levelling up may take some time but all these games do so no points lost there. The graphics are good and so are the layouts of the battle scenes, battle map and the home screens. The only major flaw is that it is extremely easy to accidentally waste gold coins as a slip of the finger and coins (normally large amounts) are spent. Normally other games ask for confirmation once you press a button which would cause you to spend gold. This is the only reason I have given four stars instead of five..Version: 1.34.0

✓ Best Game Ever / Start GlitchIt is one of the best games ever. I played it a while and I just started again but right at the start when picking your first recruit it can glitch out and you can’t tap the selected people as the dog is still up. I got passed it by furiously tapping at the recruits until I managed to pick one then it went smoothly from there. No other problems from the game..Version: 1.29.3
