✓ PickyHave a tough time using this outdoors if there's any type of breeze blowing. The app tells me that there's too much motion going on so won't take a reading. If the phone is moving at all then you will not be able to get a reading. So it's not that often that I can go out on the field and bot have some type of breeze that will disrupt the phone. It's very hard to read the screen on the iPhone after a ball goes by. The brightness of the readout numbers between the background is not very good. The best thing to do is link between two smart phones so you can have the reading in your hand as seen the ads instead of trying to read the one that's on the ground..Version: 1.5
✓ Don't buy the upgradeDownloaded thinking I could clock my sons pitch speed in game. Found out I had to purchase an upgrade to unlock speeds over 40. Purchased the upgrade. Next, I find out the camera has to be set up 20ft in front and 20ft to the side in order to work! This should be clearly stated before the upgrade not after!!! Don't spend the money unless u wanna just check bullpen!.Version: 1.8
✓ Radar wont work after updateI am using an IPad 2. Before updating the app, i was able to test the speed of my cricket ball. After updating, a menu pops up saying that my device isn't compatible for using the radar. I paid $18 to use the cricket and tennis radar and now it doesn't work..Version: 1.1
✓ Unlock higher speedsI upgraded the free version via an in-app purchase of £11.99 thinking it would unlock more sports and higher speeds... it doesn’t... it just unlocks more sports... it is another £11.99 for speeds higher than 40mph... this wasn’t clear... how do I go about getting a refund so I can purchase the full version at £13.99?.Version: 1.8
✓ Glitch caused me to lose $12This app glitched when I was exploring the settings so I tried to double click the home button to reset the app, but when doing so it read my fingerprint and used it for a $12 in app purchase. ✓ Great in perfect settingsOk so this app would probably be great in a perfect setting not good for in game radaring you need to be in a well lit area so practice at night it works but maybe at 50% and i think the timing is a little off Heres an example my son who is 12 probably can throw a baseball around 45-50 mph the radar gun would slip about 40% of the time and say he just through 93mph or 110mph lol there is no way he can throw that hard and its constantly freezing i feel like i wasted 15$ on this for nothing.Version: 1.6

✓ Idea is great but...I suspect the actual maximum detectable speed on a 5s is about 70 mph. I placed it exactly in the best recommended spot with no movement in the background and it only detected 4 slow second serves between 65-69mph. It didn't pick up any of the many faster serves and even some slower experimental serves. I would say detection rate is about 10% and I have no way to test accuracy as I have no reference radar to compare to but it seems strange all detected balls were within 5mph range. I'll have to play with it some more try placing the phone higher maybe and closer or farther from the trajectory of the ball but for now I can only give it 2 stars in the hopes that it will develop into something useful..Version: 1.0

✓ It’s doing somethingAfter using it for tennis 3x now I found out that if you serve closer to the middle the speeds are slower and not by a little. I’m doing pretty much the same serve and it goes from 60’s to 130’s when I’m close to the sideline. No where in the instructions does it mention this. So there is no real way to get an accurate read unless you have a radar gun and and try to sync up the speed and remember your serve location and camera placement. Even though it would be nice to have 136mph serve. Thanks for the ego boost mr. not so accurate app!.Version: 2.2

✓ Waste of MoneyCouldn't get this thing to work AT ALL. Paid $8 for baseball, nothing. No matter where I placed my phone, no matter how it positioned, never got one single reading -- always an error about too much motion. Funny that there is a video on the company's website that shows the primary camera being used, yet the app only uses the front camera. And there is ZERO visibility to where you are pointing the phone because there is no picture displayed back, only the black screen ready to display speed - yet but the blinking red dot saying "too much motion" I can't believe the total lack of anything useful.
