✓ IssuesI purchased upgrade a few years back never had an issue until I got a new phone so now it always logs me out and I have to link again with Dropbox it does it all the time I have my appt and bills everything that’s important on there but so I’m always on it back and fourth but why is it always logging me out I didn’t have this issue before. Even with my purchasing it it still does it it’s so annoying what am I doing wrong ? Lol has to be something..Version: 2.14.0

✓ Great product. But please fix syncing bugs?The best notes app I've had. Loved the simplicity. However. Throughout my 4 years of use, once every couple months, I'd run into syncing bugs and lose 10+ of my personal notes!!! It's truly a frustrating experience, to think I've had all my precious thoughts noted down and can go back to, only to find out that they are lost due to syncing bugs. Or like the newest dropbox update. If u know there'll be a bug. AT LEAST TELL PEOPLE!!! Instead again I lost some of my best notes / memories. Great product. ✓ Don't download this appI downloaded the app to track finance and could lock the pad to my fingerprint. Worked fine the first month or two and now every time I go into a note it's blank (which it wasn't before) and when I click 'Done' to go back to my list of notes it closes the app. I checked for updates incase it was a known bug, but nothing. So now all my important financial notes are lost and I have to go gather the information again and put them in a more reliable location..Version: 2.10.0
✓ Full of Bugs even after paying!** DON'T DOWNLOAD THE LATEST VERSION.. NOW YOU CAN'T USE THE APP OFFLINE WITHOUT A CONSTANT POPUP ADKING YOU TO RECONNECT. THERE SHOULD BE AN OFFLINE MODE I bought the Premium Version of this app, thinking the annoying pop up asking me to Upgrade would go away. Even after upgrading the app keeps asking me to Upgrade! Secondly when I open the app up and the upgrade banner shows on the screen. There is no way to bypass it without Force Closing the App. The 2 buttons on the screen don't help. ✓ Good app but lacking functionalityI use this for writing articles which I the copy and paste to my website. As Upword has no editing features such as different fonts, italics or bold type I find I have to write it first, then edit it on my site, thus doubling the workload. Unless these features are added quite soon it makes no sense for me to continue using it as I may as well write my articles and edit them at the same time on my site..Version: 2.13.0
✓ No upgrades for a year -- do not purchaseUpdate -- I switched to apple's Notes app. It syncs more rapidly and has all the features I need. No benefit to using Upword unless you want to spend money. I originally found it was a decent app when it worked properly. However, it has not been updated in over a year. What's worse is that the app periodically "forgets" that I have the purchased premium version, at which point it asks for payment. I tap to pay and get the response back that it's already purchased. Then, all my notes are rearranged in alphabetical order. Lame. The developer is no longer working on this app. Don't waste your time or money..Version: 2.14.0
✓ Needs to be onlineGreat before the last update. Now it needs to be connected to the net continuously of your notes are on Dropbox. Does not work at all without signal. All my notes are work related, but where I need to refer to them, there is no signal, rendering the app useless in that situation. ✓ No Customer SupportThis used to be my favorite app, I’ve been using it for several years now— it’s simple and easy to organize and exactly what I was looking for after I got an iPhone— unfortunately over the summer I had some issues with deleted notes reappearing again. Most likely a bug of some sort- I recently got a new iPhone so perhaps the app is no longer compatible— I have reached out to customer support several times now since then and I’ve received no response. Not really sure what to do. I guess all I can do is back up my notes to my computer and start using another app for my notes. It’s with a heavy heart that I say, I don’t recommend this app anymore. ✓ CONSTANT REMINDERS TO UPDATE!!!There are reminders to update every couple days or sometimes every day with this app after paying. This is a very good app, but it seems like almost every time I open it up, the intro screen when you first download it appears and I have to relogin to restore the purchase and restore the night setting. What should have been a quick edit turns into restoring the app and THEN I’m free to do what I opened the app to do. After buying the app we shouldn’t get any more messages to upgrade..Version: 2.12.4

✓ Maybe it is just me, but...Paid for the app as it promised so much; and on the face of things it looked ideal. However once fully paid for only half of the functionality could be coaxed into life, no matter what I tried the reminders were never displayed properly, nor shown, in the summary section. The same had to be said for the Star tagging option. Had the app on both an iPhone 6s + and an older iPad 3, sync okay, but no go with the summary screens on either device. It was almost as if the app couldn't register that it was now fully paid for, despite one of the screens acknowledging it was no longer in Demo mode. Tried UpWord customer support twice, and as noted by another Reviewer (Dec 16) there was no reply. As an EU customer I made use of the iTunes 14 day no quibble refund option as I only had a week remaining (and wasn't getting anywhere with UpWord Customer Support). Your mileage may vary, but the app wouldn't work properly for me!.Version: 2.12.3

Just connected to Dropbox which resulted in all my reminder times having to be removed, wondering if this is going to happen each time it syncs with Dropbox? ✓ What Happened?I’ve used this app nearly every day for years, and paid for the premium features because I loved it so much. Since the latest update, all of my notes, which were arranged by date, are now alphabetical by the first word of the note. I used the date system as a way to keep track of my thoughts at a particular time in my life, and without a that reference, they’re meaningless. Might as well be grocery lists, not functional journal entries. No way to contact support anymore, either, from within the app or the app store..Version: 2.14.0

✓ SO UPSETI used this app for a long time for EVERYTHING, had 15+ FOLDERS, w/tons of VERY DETAILED notes, medical hIstories on my family etc., BUT when I upgraded from a iPhone 6S to a 6S Plus it wouldn’t let me transfer my folders/notes back into it w/out paying for an UPGRADE! I spend a long time uploading each note to email to try to copy/paste EACH 1 back into new phone only to find out that now I was ONLY allowed 4 FOLDERS free. When I tried to add the 5th, I got a UPGRADE prompt that I had to pay $4.99 to have multiple folders! Exactly what I already had! In my opinion if you’re going to charge $5 for an app it needs to be jam packed because as a single mom my money is super tight. I need an amazing reliable nite taking app because I use notes for EVERYTHING! I will pay $5 IF you add a bunch more fonts, especially girl friendly, more colors for layouts. Personally I’m not a fan of blues and purples. It would be awesome to have a white background and be able to custom choose any color I wanted including silver, gold or rose gold? Backgrounds for the notepads would be awesome to. Like being able to upload your own! More colors for the tabs as I have like 100 notes with more than 25 categories. If these simple things were added if spend the extra money for sure. I do love that I can cross stuff out. That is what got my attention..Version: 2.13.0
✓ Good Product, but Syncing ProblemsThis is a neat product. I have used this for about a year, and also upgraded to the premium version from the very start. Just about a week ago, I had syncing problems, and couldn’t add any new information to any of the sub-folders. I have sent an email to the company (three days ago) regarding my problems, but still haven’t heard from them, and rather disappointed. ✓ Synch issues but handy except thatDeleted this app and went back to apple reminders in the end as the version on my iPhone kept deleting all the to-do items despite them being kept on my iPad. Only way round this was to delete and reinstall the app each time and then sign in again which rapidly became tedious. Probably ok if you are not planning to synch as was fine on the iPad, but worrying when your items disappear and you haven't been able to complete them!.Version: 2.7.0

But it would have been covered everything if I would able to create a folder with my own images with that I can identify certain folders without reading the title of the folder. ✓ Not working properly after iOs updateI’ve used this app for many years. It was wonderful, I never ver had any problems with it. Now, it’s a nightmare. After iOs 15.2 it simply became a mess. DEVELOPERS, fix this annoying behavior! LOWERED RATING: I used to use a note organizer called iDo Pro. It was very useful and very similar to Upword. However, the vendor no longer supports it. Upword is a very good replacement for it. My only complaint I have is it’s annoying habit of forgetting I am a registered purchaser and sometimes providing the opportunity to purchase the pro version when I launch it. This happens way too much! I lowered my rating due to the constant begging to purchase the app after it has been purchased. If the programmers can’t fix that what else are they not getting right? Upword still has the Annoying habit of asking me to register/sign up for premium access which I’ve done months ago. I still get the purchase begs and I’m tired of it. ✓ USED TO BE the greatest note appI lived by this note app for 7 years. It was awesome! It did everything I wanted with a well designed, intuitive interface. Sure, it had a few little quirks, like not keeping your settings after updates, etc. But I could live with that. Unfortunately, it appears the app was sold three years ago and the new owners are content to allow it to whither on the vine. There has not been an update since that time and the failure points have become so prevalent as to make it unusable. For example, the link to Dropbox fails each time the app opens, which requires re-linking on almost every use. The solution would be to fix the backend to allow for linking to other cloud databases (Google, iCloud, etc.), or just fix the bugs! But there is no discernible way to contact the developers (all links are broken). So with great regret, I’ve had to migrate to another app..Version: 2.14.0
✓ Worst app I have had the misfortune to buyThis app makes absolutely no sense to me. All I wanted was a simple notepad to dictate spur of the moment thoughts to, on my apple series 3 watch. There is theoretically a sync built into the app using Dropbox on your phone. Notes I wrote on the phone (which was not where I wanted to write them in the 1st place) usually did not appear on my watch ... until later. Maybe. Then they might show up duplicated or triplicated. You can’t delete a note from the watch. You can’t really do much of anything to a note on your watch ... except read the duplicated copies of it several times. Conversely, notes you originally made on the watch might eventually show up on the IPhone, in some cases they were displayed as folders, in others they were just lines of text. Most of the time you got both. I foolishly bought the premium features for the app because of the puzzlingly good reviews the app has received. Oh where oh where is the refund feature in the App Store for lousy, non-working apps? I am hoping I can leave my zero star review of this so-called app, but if I give it one star it is only because I couldn’t give it less ... or get my money back..Version: 2.12.4
✓ Literally the best note taking app this doesn’t work properly in ios 15 yet…This is literally the best note taking app I know of and I bought the full version and everything, but it keep resetting all the tome in IOS 15 — I sent them an E-mail and they have not addressed me. I will have to find another notetaking app soon if they don’t— which I really don’t want to do as this one is among the best. Anyhow if this gets addressed I will change this rating to the 5 stat rating it should be aside from this issue, but right now this is very frustrating as I truly rely on these notes..Version: 2.14.0
✓ Hate Hate Hate HateI absolutely hate this app. I had been writing letters to my boyfriend for 8 months about how much I love him and planned to give him all the letters on our wedding day. I constantly backed up my notes and when the “back up & sync” reminder popped up I ALWAYS pressed okay. My phone broke to the point where it wouldn’t come on and I got a new one but there’s no way of getting my old notes back so I don’t understand where I was backing up and syncing to if not to my iCloud? I wrote him hundreds of notes that I will never be able to get back and I’m so mad and hurt. If I would have known that “back up and sync” didn’t truly mean anything because they weren’t being back up or synced to anywhere, I wouldn’t have wasted my time with this app and I would have just used my regular notes all because all my notes from there are still saved and then I’d have all of those letters that I wrote..Version: 2.14.0
