✓ Would love to use this app but..I would love to use this app I love the idea of it but every time I try to open it and make an account it freezes for a few seconds and crashes. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled 3 times and still hasn’t fixed the issue. Please fix this because I’d love to be able to use this app. It’s terrible that people would animal test, makes me sick even thinking about it..Version: 1.04
✓ Good but...This app is really awesome and has shown me a lot about being cruelty free. I have converted a lot but one thing I noticed is when I scanned the Love, Beauty, and Planet shampoo, I couldn’t believe my eyes. It said it wasn’t cruelty free but on the back of the bottle it talks about being 100% vegan and cruelty free. That’s basically what the whole company is about! So was there a mistake or what?.Version: 1.06
✓ Needs to recognise more products :)This is a great idea and the App is easy to use. Only problem I've had at the moment,is that out of the 25 times I've scanned barcodes, it has only recognised 3 products!! All the others I have had to send a request to the company to find out if it is Cruelty Free or not. Hopefully, the more people use it and send in barcodes, the more products it will recognise. On the good side though - A product that specifically said it was Vegan and Cruelty Free came back as Deffinately Uses Animal Testing!! - otherwise I would have purchased it..Version: 1.02.05

✓ Love the concept....butToo many features do not work. Drives me crazy. I scan a product and that works but click on boycott and nothing happens until a pop up says something about not being set up for doggie dollars or something if that nature. ✓ SuspectJust downloaded (purchased) and tried to find information on the payment terms (one-time charge, monthly subscription, etc) and can't find anything. Next I try to set up my account and click on the Terms of Use Agreement and am immediately kicked out of the app. I've tried multiple times now to click into the Terms before agreeing to them, the last step to setting up my account, but I keep getting kicked out of the app. I now feel like I must dispute the purchase since I can't access the Terms to agree to them, in order to use the app. Disappointed. ✓ Scanner doesn't workEvery time I try to use the scanner it tells me the "Due to a network issue, we are unable to process your request". Since I've tried to use it in multiple locations, I can say with certainty that it isn't a problem on my end. Still, it's nice that there is an entire list of brands you can look through to see if they are tested on animals. Just wish the scanner worked.Version: 1.04

✓ Pretty goodI like what this app stands for and the content. The interface could use sprucing up, but my biggest qualm is with the camera. My camera works perfectly outside of this app, but when I try to scan something it looks like the camera of a 2007 flip phone, and I have an iPhone 14. Hopefully something can be updated to make the resolution better. I would like to use this app way more but the camera does not pick up what I try to scan..Version: 1.06
✓ Good ideaAlthough this app is a great idea there are a couple of flaws. First being that half of the things I scanned never showed up or it said it didn't know its status. Second it told you items were cruelty free even though they are owned by a parent company who test. I for one wouldn't use anything by OPI as they are owned by Coty who do test. I don't normally write reviews but I so want this app to work so I hope you will improve this in some sort of upgrade in the future, especially considering its a paid app..Version: 1.02

✓ So far pretty goodI am liking this app so far. The only issue I have been having is that when something g scans and is not verified in the system. I try to select the option to have it reviewed but my iPhone won’t allow the option to send the email that pops up and I’m not sure how to fix that? I looked in troubleshooting and found nothing, then tried sending this as a question through the troubleshooting support and the submit button won’t work so I can’t get the question to submit. I double checked my app settings to see if I had something blocked but from what I can see it doesn’t look like it.Version: 1.06
✓ Can’t add new products!I’ve scanned several items that aren’t in the database. When I click on the “add product” button, an error message pops up “no email configured.” Nowhere on the app can I find additional info on this. I’m signed in with my email so this is frustrating! ✓ Great Idea, does not workI love the idea of this app and I'll keep it on my phone in case this is fixed, but the scan function doesn't work at all - it will only display a notification of a network error. As others have said, the app also crashes when you try to access the terms and conditions. While you can't scan labels, you can scroll manually through a list of companies sorted by who does and does not test on animals. It's not as quick, but it's something!.Version: 1.04

✓ Read before you downloadI was very excited once I downloaded this app. I very strongly believe in animal rights and will do anything to take a stand against animal cruelty. Everything was in working order. I scanned every product in my house, shocked at how many test on animals! I began a pile of brands I would boycott. But when I scanned my philosophy miracle eye cream, it told me they were not cruelty free. I had a very hard time believing that, so I went to their website. On their website it clearly states that they do not test on animals. So what's the deal? As a summary, I had to delete this app because of the confusion. I wasn't sure if I could trust anything it said. Although, I believe a couple updates could fix this problem. The app is very out of date anyways..Version: 1.04
✓ Not workingThis app worked okay for about 2 days before it stopped scanning all of the sudden. It says "Due to a network issue, we are unable to proceed with your request". I cannot for the life of me get it to work again. I have wifi/data so I know that's not the problem.
