✓ It's the plussed version of the built-in RemindersCheckmark is great. The location and time tools work great. Having places and being able to notify a little after you arrive is indispensable. The only things I would like to see are a way to see all reminders and lists in one view and some sort of Mac integration. I liked being able to put in a new reminder on my Mac and have it show up in Reminders on my iPhone. Maybe if Checkmark could read from a Reminders list to pull in new things with at least what features are the same across both apps that'd be great..The One True DudeVersion: 2.1

✓ NewbieI'm new to Checkmark 2 so I have no idea what 1 was like. It is quite a nice app, easy to use, nice interface etc. I only have 2 gripes, one minor and the other a bit more serious. 1. The minor one is that you can't set a recurring item such as: 1st Monday of each month. 2. The interface is beautiful and super easy to navigate, I love how it allows you to move tasks, edit lists, and change things with ease. ✓ Best app for location-based remindersGreat for setting several places in one general categories (i.e. several different groceries stores you might frequent into one list called 'Groceries'), and then once you add items to that list, anytime you visit ANY of those locations, the list pops up to remind you what you need. Brilliantly done (much better than Apple's built-in Reminders app) and well worth the couple dollars it costs. Its hard to get Due app off my dock and this hasn’t succeeded, but i have moved all reminders that are locality rather than time based and need a sound alert. ✓ This is the oneI think I've tried almost every to-do app in the App Store. My needs are pretty simple: I want an easy-to-create task list app that allows me to edit or complete a task with minimal effort. I've been using Due, which was also recently updated and with which I have no complaints. But this app is just as minimal, nicer to look at, and has room for notes with each entry. I don't care about the location aspect since I don't stray too far from my daily path, but the simple to-do element is a beauty of design and simplicity. Being able to set up location groups in that I can be reminded of my grocery lists no matter what store in the list I get to is incredibly intuitive. I love the simple notifications sounds and beautiful UI. This is so easy to use. I have noticed a minor crash when I switch back into the from elsewhere, but it's so minimal it doesn't bother me enough. I'm excited for future updates. A suggestion would to be able to switch a list item from one list to the next without having to re-type it under the new list and delete the old one. ✓ Fantastic appI'd say most people don't need apps like "Things" or "Omnifocus" for their regular lives as these apps are actually Project management apps intended for business use. What I wanted in a personal to-do app are things like flexible reminders; time based reminders; notifications at specific times and dates; location based reminders; easy quick entry; easy snooze/delay of a task or rescheduling and to have tasks divided by "today", "tomorrow", "next" etc. So I searched the App Store and web and after visiting countless websites and reading countless reviews of to-do apps I finally found and settled on Checkmark 2. And it's exactly what I need. It's fantastic. It ticks all of the boxes and for me it works exactly as advertised. Even location reminders work well for me. It's a really well thought out app and you can see the developer has thought through the details and found the right balance between having just the right amount of features and not going overboard. (The only caveat is that it's iPhone only - but for me that's fine as I manage all my to-do's on my iPhone and don't need an iPad or Mac version. ✓ Pointless app. Doesn't work!Sounded too good to be true and it is. Saved a few locations miles apart and thought I'd put it the test. When I arrived at the destination, it first gave the right notification twice, then the wrong one (for the wrong place) once and then the right one again four times even though I had checked it the first time. Repeated use has shown the same to happen each time. Waste of money. Avoid. Edit: since the new update, the problems mentioned above have been sorted and it works perfectly now! It’s now becoming my defacto list application, replacing Due (which had a spot on my home screen for many years). My only complaint would be that it needs to nag me a *bit* more when a reminder pops up. So far I’ve found it’s a little too easy for it to get lost in the shuffle of things, and a recurring “nag” until you mark as complete would go a long way to help that. ✓ NO ProblemsI personally have had no problems with this app as of yet. I also have turned on iCloud backup just in case. The only downside I can see right now is that it does not auto any task with your Calendar which other apps will do, but I can live with this, for Example Fantastical with do this… it will show not only your calendar events but your tasks… this app needs to have that integration with your iCalendar. ✓ Mostly Great!Overall, I think this is a great app that has had a great deal of thought put into it. It's easy to use and understand, it feels cleaner than Checkmark 1, and it's reliable, which is great. I do agree with some of the other reviewers that allowing the functionality to cross would prove useful, I.e, setting time-based reminders that only remind you when you're within a specific geo-fence, for example, for people who drive to work and might have to renew their payments for parking mid-way through the day, a time based reminder on their daily lunch break would make sense, but if they have a day off, the reminder will still go off. If users could set the parameters so it would only go off whilst that user is in their work geo-fence, and therefore doesn't interrupt the user when it isn't relevant, I think it would improve the user experience a great deal..WillSkinnrVersion: 2.0.2

✓ A long time fan and user but...I bought the original Checkmark the week it came out and it has been a faithful friend ever since. As a todo app, it's been second to none and the location feature has been essential however I had for some time been looking forward to a UI upgrade as it no longer fitted in with the ios7 interface. Today I learnt that Checkmark 2 had been released and that it featured that upgraded UI and in a lovely shade of green too. What got me was having to pay for it all over again. In the greater scheme £1.99 is nothing for something so useful and this is a controversial debate but I don't understand why Checkmark 1 couldn't have had a UI update for all it's faithful users before it was taken out. I would be a little more annoyed if I hadn't for it for the half price £1.99 as well if I was an original buyer. However I do understand the need to make money and business of course. ✓ Smart geofence. Reliable recurring remindersBought this years ago and one of my longest apps in use. Ability to make sets of geofences and then trigger them as one is so fundamental. Apples own reminder geofence doesn’t work. This one has been on the mark every time. Wish there were a way to trigger in sequence (eg when driving) for app to know which way I am moving. Use it for reminding me of waypoints when crossing certain bridges and other driving routes. Also use it for recurring reminders like pay this bill on 23rd of month and then can snooze as many days until I do, and it’s automatically reloaded to remind me next month..AppricotVersion: 2.5
