✓ Lost all progress from Havana to AmsterdamI was playing Gummy Drop as usual yesterday, left the iPad switched on while I went to do something else, when I came back the game was reset with me in Havana. All progress after that had disappeared. Losing my progress has happened before and I had emailed the help team asking what to do. So I followed the instructions they had given me but it didn’t work and I was still stuck in Havana. After trying many times I eventually got my Gummy Drop game back, right up to Amsterdam. I have seen reviews of Gummy Drop in which players have had this sudden loss of progress and I feel their pain. If it happens to you, try doing the following. Uninstall Facebook app; uninstall Gummy and reinstall it WITHOUT OPENING; reinstall Facebook; open Gummy; connect with Facebook. It may take several attempts to get it to work, but if you’re addicted to Gummy it is worth it..Version: 3.5.0

✓ Made it to New Orleans without spending real cashSo I must like it! But all the resource Marts I built in Sidney a few months back have disappeared! I used to dip into those as a restock. Some of the levels are stupidly hard and then confusingly when you have no idea how, you suddenly get past them. Mostly I know how I won a level, but sometimes I think there must be a set number of attempts before they think this loser is never getting past this unless we let them. ✓ Excellent game but weekend tournaments requiredI have played this game practically since it was offered and have referred it to many friends. It is very entertaining, challenging, addicting and my favorite game. The downside is they have mandatory participation in tournaments beginning on Friday afternoon and continuing through Monday afternoon. If you accidentally play one game after the tournament begins you are in the tournament with no way to opt out of it. If you do not continue to play then you lose your current status rating. I had to find other games to play on the weekends because I play in some of the tournaments but do not want to play in one every weekend. Hopefully they will make participation in the tournaments optional so people who want to play in the tournament can play against each other and everyone else can play on the weekends as well..Version: 4.62.0
✓ Fun game but...This is a fun and addicting game and is (was) my guilty pleasure but it is much less enjoyable when EVERY level must be completed in order to build a monument (Shanghai) and each level is so difficult. It would be nice if the cities had a difficulty level and you could travel to lower rated cities to play on days when not feeling up to a challenge or coins need to be stockpiled to complete the difficult cities. Also, the DAILY Reward is a misnomer as you have to actually WIN a level to receive the DAILY reward, not just play. Learned that the hard way...only had time to run through one set of lives in a difficult level on day 27 but was not offered the reward. The next day I logged in and...back to day 1 I went. I also agree with other players that it would be nice to have boosts and coins as reward on occasion, there were occasional coins when it first started (the first week) but that was quickly changed. I was hoping Day 30 would have coins but haven’t made it there yet! Overall a fun game, I just may have reached my fun limit..Version: 3.6.1

There are a few hang ups but I still come back frequently, the added tasks do seem to stop progress without much reward. There is more to choose from with the different countries. ✓ My go-to gameThank you so much for a great educational game. I love travelling around the cities and learning about buildings and customs. Some of the levels have felt impossible at times and then one day, they have changed and become possible. I second what someone else has said - it would be nice to be able to send some coins to another user ID to help them along. My biggest bugbear (which is why 4 stars, not 5) is that it takes a ridiculous amount of time to go and collect resources from previous cities and then find a resource port to send to your current city. It would be nice to see all the resources and ports on one page. Interactions with the service desk, when I’ve had issues have always been resolved well. I prefer the new spinning wheel to get an extra turn or two if needed. I love the 30 minutes of lightning bolts or whatever treat we get from time to time. It’s far nicer than infinite lives to me. ✓ OkI quite enjoy playing this game but I have noticed that when you do your daily reward you don’t always get it which is annoying. I agree with other people that you only get three life’s should be more especially when you play for ten coins it can be very difficult, ten coins should be easy but it’s not. Also I must admit I don’t really want to play for four hours at a time if you manage to get the bonus, I think the four hours or whatever time you win should be take over the whole day, then you don’t end up with a flat battery, and doesn’t become stressful it’s a game it’s meant to be enjoyed !!!.Version: 3.23.0

After reaching out to the company numerous times and getting numerous responses from them, they were able to help somewhat. I was able to get back to the city I had been in. But not all the spaces I had already won. They sent me quite a few coins and other things. I did lose other things I had collected but with the extra coins I could replace. My main concern was losing the 1537 straights days of playing. Over 4 years!!! That they couldn’t fix. 😭😭😭 I definitely won’t bother to play daily as I has before. Just lost my desire …. Went to spend gold bars in private island and was required to sign in. When I did I ended up losing over 1500 straight days of play. Ended up having to start over. ✓ My opinion of Gummy DropI really like this game!! So many ways to play and strategize the moves. If I were going to change it, I'd have a few more ways to make money to buy the boosters. And I wouldn't put a 3 chance limit on the game. It's annoying to get real close, run out of coins, and then only have 3 chances before you get locked out. Really!!?? What difference does it make how long a person plays? I hope they will consider the changes. I got a friend hooked on this game, and he agrees about the limitations. And by the way. ✓ Fun but need more incentives!I love the game and keep coming back, but it gets frustrating having to play the same levels over and over again to be able to move forward. I get through 10 spaces and then have to go back for a long time to repeat the levels I did. To get the highest scores on. I also think they need to have a way that you can get more boosts without having to pay for it. Also, there should be an information center that explains what each boost is again. They explain it when they introduce a boost, but honestly the picture of the boost does in no way give a clue as to what it is. I generally have to google it each time, which is annoying. There should just be an info button to access what each boost is and other details. The reinforcement I get is not enough, when I have to keep repeating the same levels to move forward. Only problem I have come across on IPad is when there are advertisers who use Portrait screen for their advert. There is no way to clear the advert after having been forced to watch it without switching closing down app. This is annoying as this halts any further progress that may have been gained before the advert. Having played 54 cities if you go back it now goes .automatically to level 120 rather than your previous use in that city which, for almost all players would have been the port for shipping. On iOS the cities come up on full zoom which is very difficult on the eyesight. The resource sale page is a total mess, why these totally unnecessary changes which detract from what was a great game. ✓ Good game.I’ve been playing this game longer than all the others. Aside a few times that I’d be stuck on a level for weeks then seems maybe they’d finally lower the standard or something. I don’t pay for boosts and others quit when got to levels when had to in order to beat it. The new update that gives you treasure everyday is convenient unless you miss a day however you only when needed prizes like shovels and such like once a month. I’m very picky about using boosts. I’ll be out soon and if that is there way of making people spend real cash then I’ll be done with this game also. I like the game takes some skill but can also be just a relaxing distractions. However I hate timed levels. They require total concentration during the whole time. So have to pause the tv or if on lunch break too stressful and won’t play. ✓ Love the app...but the tv-like adverts, REALLY?!I love Gummy Drop; it's one of my favorite time killers. I love the multiple iterations of the same level with each iteration a little harder but gaining more points. I also really enjoy reading the factoids for the landmarks that you pass during the game. BUT, just recently in the last few months, I've had to endure a terrible new trend: the real life tv commercials as ads?!?! I'm one of those people that won't pay money in game for boosts or extras but I will plop down some money to remove ads. I've been able to tolerate the ads for other games in the App Store, but now I'm seeing commercials for shows on the Disney channels, cars, awards shows, etc. I play games on my devices to GET AWAY from real life, which absolutely includes tv advertising. Can you please just go back to the it was or allow me to pay $1-2 dollars to remove the altogether?! Can you also add an option to disable hints (flashing possible moves) in the game?! Sometimes I like to get stuck or frustrated for a bit instead of the game telling me the next move to make. Seriously. ✓ Gummy DropThis game is so fun. My only complaint would be once a level is complete do not change it. You have changed several levels in many cities that I will go back to to replay either for supplies or for the line crushers and when I go to the levels I know I can get any of the above you have went and changed the board completely. Example would be Tokyo level 100 was a timed level and you only had a score to bet and you change it to 18 moves and several boxes now you have to remove, and then Paraguay level 116 was also a board I would go back to and you changed that board completely. I am probably slower than other folk but I have the satisfaction of doing a city without any aid. There are always enough resources to get through to the next city in my experience. They need some people to make real world purchases to keep making the game. We become too accustomed to the Internet giving us music and shows and games without needing to pay for them. ✓ Reconnecting with friends in unusual ways!This game is fun and easy to pick up where ever you leave off. Getting and giving help to/from your childhood friends is a really big plus. My life is extremely busy so playing time is a treat to myself. With the variety of the different levels it’s not monotonous. I know to diversify when building resource ports. I wish the game allowed a player to transfer from any port to any port in order to drill for gems. The other option would be to allow all earnings of gems and coins to travel with the player or be available to the player at all times. I enjoy going to Tokyo to play the slot machine, but I don’t like doing multiple trips to each city to collect resources and then shipping to a different city in order to build a site. I don’t like waiting four hours shipping time and then another trip to collect in order to spend in another city. Overall it is a great game. They definitely need to add cities a lot faster-waiting over a month for an update isn’t ideal. Unfortunately, the last update isn’t what I was expecting. So many times, I’ve won a level on the last move, yet it says “so close”-We shouldn’t have to use coins to finish the level when it’s already finished -this was not an issue until the last update. Another issue is that unless special boosts have been purchased before starting the level, they can no longer be purchased while playing a level-again this was not the case before the update. I love the challenge of each puzzle except for those that are literally impossible to successfully win without the aid of boosts. I have appreciated Gummy Drop specifically because most of the puzzle challenges can be won with patience and perseverance. Most of the other games in this genre force you to buy boosts to continue the game. Gummy Drop allows you to earn so much more in the way of coins and boosts than any of the other games. ✓ Great game going downhillI’m on Day 1,384 of consecutive play and am awarded daily for that so I’ve watched this game evolve. The developers are brilliant. Challenging but not too much. Unfortunately it has been 6 weeks since they opened a new city. Two years ago they were introducing new cities every two weeks. During COVID they were able to transition and keep pace though new cities were unlocked every 3 weeks like clockwork. It was so reliable I could set my watch to it. They recently introduced an “Elite” playing mode to tie players over until new cities open and now that I’ve been playing for weeks in the absence of a new city, I realized I’m playing against bots, which is FRAUD. Three weeks in a row I was beat by “Karen,” who miraculously jumps 25-40 levels with an hour. The person behind me is always “June.” It’s frustrating that they don’t want real players to take 1st place and accumulate awards — so they almost force you to spend for rewards and it should be illegal. I have screenshots for the past 4 weeks and seeing that evidence of bots has created such distrust that I’m close to quitting the game after playing daily for nearly 4 years. ✓ My comments on Gummy DropLovely game. I enjoy working out the rules of the movement of each game. I know to take note of the targets to be achieved. I know why I don’t always get a lightening strike from a row of five of the same colour gummy! I regularly transport resources between ports. My husband likes to help me. And often plays games for me. It took some time to work out some of the tules, but it was worth persevering. Comments on the various castles and monuments are sometimes inane. Some of the timed games are borderline impossible. There is usually a need for extra time and spending coins. I have problems with white backgrounds with white dots marking Bombs on white gummies. Not easy to for me to see. I understand the graphics in Casablanca but the joke wore very thin. I love the various towns and cities. The graphics are amazing and I often then do personal research on some history and geography that interests me. I don’t always know what country I am in ! But I usually find out. ✓ Best gameI’ve been playing this game pretty much daily for over 9 years. I love it. It kept me sane through a long stay in hospital when I was physically unable to do anything more. It’s seen me through relationships and breakups, it’s my break when I need a few minutes of down time after a long day at work. I’ll play a level or 2 to get to sleep at night. Well worth any investment and I’m happy to pay for packs or boosts occasionally as a thank you to the developers for such a clever and consistently entertaining game..Version: 4.3.0
✓ Gummy DropsGummy Drops is my favourite game to play anywhere. It is addictive and I think more people should be playing it. It is very challenging to do many of the levels but then the game will give you boosts to help. Another reason Gummy is my favourite game is because I like the idea of going around the world and playing loads of side levels as well as collecting hearts,snowflakes and pencil for coins, boosts and other prizes. ✓ Great game, but...I have one major gripe with this game, and that is the “free infinite lives” for 30 minutes or an hour or even two hours. They are awarded at random, and the clock runs down from that moment. So this morning, just as I had completed a section and decided it was time to walk the dog, I won 2 hours of infinite lives. I lost most of that because the dog couldn’t wait! It would be much better if the time ran only when the app was open - why can’t the developers make this so?.Version: 4.14.0
✓ Great gameI love the fact that you need to use a bit of strategy to complete the levels on this game, that plus a bit of luck. It is possible to play without spending a penny on it!! I also love that the background music whilst in play is so mellow and relaxing. Smart. Playing gummy drop is one of my favourite ways to relax. ✓ Can’t get free boostersI love this game and I am happy to watch ads to get free boosters to help with difficult levels but, there is no cross in the top right hand corner after the ad has played. The only way to carry on is to restart the game so, I then have to watch another ad and have the same problem again! Please could you rectify this . It has only been happening for a couple of days. Took me ages to work out how to make the most of all the recourses etc. took me forever to realise I could go back yo old games to get resources for current game.
