LogTen Pilot Logbook for Negative User Reviews

Good when it works. iCloud sync still unreliable.Works fine on my phone, which I use for data entry. Usually syncs ok with my computer. iCloud sync is stuck a couple of months behind on my iPad and it won’t update. It’s a problem that LogTen has a long history with unfortunately. Not really good enough for such an expensive subscription product. Will delete from the iPad and continue to use on the phone. Syncing aside, it’s a pretty comprehensive product, but it is very much overpriced..Version: 7.5.7

777 pilotInitially when I purchased this app it was a one time payment of 50$ then they started the yearly subscription of 55$ saying it was for syncing with other devices. Now the subscription is gone to 104$ a year. That is just money grab. So disappointed that the app maker/makers are being un reasonable..Version: 7.5

$$You now have to pay monthly or yearly to continue using this logbook. Terrible idea. Already deleted from my devices! Seriously Coradine, what were you thinking?!.Version: 7.0

Great App but not worth $100 per yearIt’s one of the best logbook app there are in the market. However 100 bucks per year at the cheapest just not worth the price. I can get ForeFlight with logbook for just a bit more than that..Version: 7.5.4

Holding logbooks hostageGet rid of the subscription and stop holding my logbook hostage. This is my career you're toying with!.Version: 7.0

Do NOT buy. Rip offAs a professional pilot, it has taken a lot of my time to transfer my 14k hours to this App. I still haven't completed that process. I have just tried to input my last sectors into the App and it kept crashing. On searching the App Store for an update I found a new version. (No contact from the software company to inform me of this) On installing this version, because I have done more than 40 sectors, I am required to pay an annual subscription fee! YOU HAVE TO BE KIDDING ME!! I paid £50 for this app a while ago which is nothing but a glorified spreadsheet. No mention was made that an annual fee would be required. Really low business ethics guys. I think you should be refunding money to a lot of people I will be telling all my colleagues at work to avoid this product.Version: 7.2.3

I dropped it.After years of reluctantly paying for upgrades and a few years of subscription, I (also) had enough. I dropped the app. No way does $160/yr work out to anything other then a cash grab. No way does this simply cover tech support and advertising. By the way, their tech support was Sh!t. I have probably paid close to $1000 towards this logbook over the years. For a logbook!!!! Never again..Version: 7.5.7

Greed.... Boarderline extortionGreedy greedy greedy.. Enough said... Goodbye.Version: 7.0.4

ICloud sync very buggySent numerous emails to support regarding how bad the iCloud Sync feature is. I am a developer myself so know it can be improved and or adding another cloud based sync feature such as dropbox etc if there are iCloud limitations. Support give the normal run around that they don't get this issue very much (I call bull) and give me the usual things to fix it. My issue is when using with iOS (iPad mainly) and Mac app. If I make a change in one the changes do not sync with any normal amount of time. It's as if the sync feature only sync every hour or so. So say I need to make some changes on Mac app and it hasn't pulled the latest data in, I need to disable sync (iOS) and re-enable iCloud to make sure it has pushed the latest data. Alot of times you make changes and check the sync setting and it states "Last Updates 50 minutes ago". Ok so this solves updating iCloud to the latest. Then I open Mac app and notice sometimes it doesn't pull the latest data. So I have to now do the exact same thing and merge with iCloud logbook. Ok, no both are in sync and I make changes on Mac app. These then don't sync to iCloud after every change???? I need to to the exact same thing going back to iOS. The last time I did this after making Macc app changes. On iOS I did the iCloud sync diable/re-enable trick and merged with iCloud logbook and nothing happened. Tryed again with replace with iCloud data and it pulled in OLD data which was 6 months or so oput of date. I then redid everything all over again and it finially worked. Also, on the Mac app in Logbook tab - a random folder is shown above the LOGBOOK heading which conatin all the standard info e.g. All Entries, Last x Days etc. Using the repair feature it fixes this but upon iCloud sync it comes back again. In past it also did this on iOS but for now not showing on iOS. The SYNC feature is probably one of the most important core features in order to keep everything up to date and in sync to make sure you don't loose anything when working with multiple apps (mac and ios). The cost of these apps is very very high now and it should be capable of syncing without an issue. PLEASE FIX at the very least put a SYNC NOW button if all the apps so we can force it to sync..Version: 8.1.1

Support Very SlowI have spent days trying to Balance forward previous logbook hours. It’s not easy! Support have not replied for over two days and STILL awaiting a reply!!.Version: 2024.2.3

Unable to access full versionAfter downloading the app on iPhone and iPad and using it for a few weeks, decided to switch my professional logbook to electronic one and purchased the full version so I could use it on my new MacBook Pro. After completing the full transaction, I’m unable to sync/ access my logbook as I’m above 250 hrs and unable to make any further changes to the account. After sending out numerous emails to support, still no replies back other than the automated replies of not to panic and will be in touch shortly....... few days went by with still no replies from various avenues of trying to contact the company. Starting to wonder if the program is worth it now.... definitely not worth investing money into the company and not being able to use a product for sure..Version: 7.5.1

Great App. Incredibly expensive.Great App. Incredibly expensive. I really dislike the subscription model the developer has chosen to use..Version: 7.5.4

Was a good product, and then.....Thanks guys. After keeping my logbook up to date on your expensive piece of software. I can now no longer even it import my logbook to my new iPad. That is of course unless I want to start paying a steep monthly fee. Goodbye forever!.Version: 7.0.3

Extremely disappointedAs many others have stated on here, I have been a longtime user of the original LogTen Pro app. I was a huge supporter, early adopter, and one of their biggest salesmen. There’s no telling how many pilots I’ve shown the app to and convinced them it was worth the price, rationalizing that even though it was MUCH higher than other apps, it was a one-time purchase. Now, they’ve failed to meet that promise and my data is held hostage. Corradine, please don’t respond that this is Apple’s fault. It takes mere seconds to convert apps from 32-bit to 64-bit so they continue to work. Failing to do this breaks the promise you made to me and ensures that there’s no way I would consider spending even a reasonable $4-5/month with you, much less the exorbitant $129/year! No thanks. I’ll extract my data and move on to someone that keeps their business promises....Version: 7.5.2

Mixed feelings over latest featuresWhile the new auto syncing feature across devices is great, it is incredibly slow and takes forever to actually upload from one device and download to another. Maybe a “force sync” button and status bar rather than just waiting? When putting in an approach, there’s no “done” button so you have to tap outside the box to close it, and sometimes data is missing on the entry. It would be nice to be able to select an airport first and have the app pop up all available approaches. Its hard to not to compare to ForeFlight, but FF makes it extremely simple when logging approaches. A new UI appearance would be appreciated. While the current version is simple, a more visually appealing UI would be pretty nice. On a positive note, I LOVE the ability to sort logbook entries and have it displayed in the Jeppesen logbook format. This has saved a lot of incorrect entries and totals on my part..Version: 2024.2

Way Too Expensive! Not significantly different to their previous Apps. I still have niggling issues that frustrate, the most significant one at present is being unable to unsubscribe my monthly subscription via the process in the App..Version: 7.0.1

Don’t trust themI also have been a customer for years. I put off updating my ipad until I finished all my taxes because I was informed of this crappy deal. I paid a lot of money for this program years ago and I also paid for the program on the Mac. Now I can’t access any of my flight records unless I pay them for monthly service. Whats next? I think its criminal myself. Most companies grandfather in the earlier people since they will continue to get new customers and the older group retire and have to quit using it. Loyalty goes both ways. I suggest you find a different app. These people will find out they are not happy with how much they’re making and come back at you again for more. Greed is a nasty thing. I paid for the app for my old flight records, I ought to be able to see them for my records!!!!.Version: 7.5.4

No thanksSubscription based monthly fee ? No thanks . I used to skip a version here or there if needed to save money ,but now I am FORCED to constantly upgrade , why? I don't like the new look it's hard on the eyes and has features I either don't need or want , but now I don't have a choice in the matter anymore . Been with logten since the beginning , but it time to say good bye ..Version: 7.0.1

Log10 pro amateurInput slow. Could be more intuitive. Reports do not fit on page display. Need more auto fill options. Way to expensive..Version: 7.5.7

Price gougeApp works well, however, sucked me in with a 3 year subscription which is no longer available and the price is now gouging. Will be looking for an alternative....Version: 7.5.7

ICloud sync issuesOverall app is great at logging what I need to and setting up fields that are most pertinent to me. The template is easily carried over to next logs and is also retrospective to all logs prior. I am giving a 3 star because if it weren’t for this issue I’d give 5 stars. I’ve had issues with iCloud sync across my iPads and there doesn’t seem to be any resolutions for this. I’ve looked at various wiki pages and FAQs and none have offered a solution for this. Each time I’ve tried to run an iCloud sync on my iPad 9th gen, it says I have to go into iCloud and ensure I’m signed in on the same iCloud account and that iCloud and log ten are on. Confirmed. Then to restart the app and it should work. That’s a negative. The same error comes up each time and I haven’t found a fix. It is frustrating to no end to see a feature designed for such ease to be not functioning as intended. I’ve decided to just log on my other iPad and not bother with the sync..Version: 2023.3.1

Don’t sign upWhilst at first this app looks great and easy, overtime it has been a nightmare. Initial purchase price very expensive. Data lost over time after iOS updates and changing iPads, help team have been unable to easily resolve the problems. I have wasted a lot of time. And now again after changing iPads the only way to regain data is through a very expensive subscription, which given the remaining years of my career will be very expensive. I wish I had stuck to a paper logbook, much easier and a lot less expensive..Version: 7.5.4

Was greatWas a very good app and I stopped using paper but have noticed in the last year I am having more glitches and errors without changing fields..Version: 2019.3

It’s a logbook for crying out loudI bought LogTen Pro many years ago, believing that paper logbooks were perhaps a thing of the past. While the theory is good and a basic, functional E-logbook would be useful, the reality has been different. LogTen Pro became LogTen as I recall and with it there came an anouncement that an annual subscription would be required. After being reassured access to the original MacOS logbook would not be imparied and considering the development costs ofthe IOS apps and the convenience, I accepted this. The price then, as I recall, was less than half of what it is now. This evening I have gone to update my logbook as I return to flying (as many of us are in the process of doing) and have been horrified to find not only is this app over 100 GBP/YR, but the functionality of my original logbook is indeed limited, namely that the basic function of importing data from files is not available without subscription. My strong advice, having used both paper and electronic logbooks, to any prospective pilot or airline pilot is to simply to make a spreadsheet. The reality is no one cares about your logbook presentation, save that there is a tidy representation of your flight hours. A huge amount of the features available in this and other logbooks is completely redundant. Consider the absurdity of spending such an ongoing sum and learn from the bitter experience of paying a one off fee and even subscribing for number of years, only to find basic functionality is limited by a developed who seems to show littel respect for its original customers. Ratcheting up prices to these levels over the years shows no regard. What will it be in five years? 200 GBP/YR? Absolutely nuts..Version: 2021.2

Good but way too expensive. This app work great. You can export your RosterBuster schedule in it, its easy to use and well designed. Customer service was great in my case. The only negative point I have is the price point. Do you want to spend about 3000$ USD (about 4000$ CAD) to keep this logbook for your career? It was much cheaper when I first subscribed, now it’s ridiculously priced specially knowing that there is free options. I will export what I have and start with something else next year..Version: 7.5.7

Not worth the priceEvery single time I try to add a flight from Foreflight it wants to back up. So i either have to back up or go through 3 clicks to add a flight. Absolutely ridiculous. Thought Id give it another try since so many flights are on, but I need a better app to import 3 years worth of data. This think is awful. Dont waste your money. I have read the developer response to to the complaints about subscription pricing. The amount they charge for features added compared with the original outright purchase is a joke. Not worth the subscription fee. Also, beware if you upgrade your ipad or iphone. The transfer from version 6 never did work and now I have lost a years worth of flights again. Time to go back to paper..Version: 8.1

Far too much moneyAs someone whose logbook history varies between GA, Part 135, and 121 captain and FO this interface can be quite cumbersome to use, the autofill becomes a liability rather than an assistance at times and not being to simply select all of the fields you want available for all entries is very frustrating. I can’t find a way to enter tailwheel time at all. Additionally, the service they offer to import .csv format spreadsheets of previous time directly into the app was only about halfway complete when it was finally done, with total time and actual instrument time completely left out, requiring me to enter those corrections line-by-line. The subscription platform is also BS considering how much is paid every year and I thought I would get something worthwhile in return. I’ll let it lapse and switch to something I can use on both an Apple mobile device and a PC (CrewLounge PilotLog).Version: 2020.1

Poor syncUsed to be the best app I owned. But since the latest update, which removed the ability to wifi sync in favour of cloud sync, my logbook does not sync between Mac, iPad and iPhone. I keep hoping every little update will fix what I now believe is a backward step. Fix this and I’ll go back to a 5 star rating..Version: 2024.2.3

ICloud sync buggyI pay for the package that lets you use the app across your iphon/ipad & mac. It is considerably more for the package that allows access on your mac, and as much as I enjoy using it on my ipad and iphone, the icloud sync is pretty useless. I’ve followed their troubleshooting tips and have even contacted customer support several times and the blame always goes to “it’s problems with icloud”. I don’t buy this, I have plenty of other apps that sync across icloud with no problem and for the money you charge that’s not a satisfactory reason for why my logbooks don’t sync. If it really is an issue with icloud invest in a server and remove icloud from the equation, god only knows, as everyone who pays for your logbook we certainly pay enough, especially since it’s just about as expensive as a foreflight subscription which includes a digital logbook, which surprise surprise has no issues syncing. Stop resting on your laurels and improve, your prices have certainly gone up since what they were before so now fix these issues.Version: 2022.1.3

Mostly worksFor the longest time, my review would never show up on the App Store..I think partly because I was writing a review through this app! Really buggy and clunky! I really had high hopes for this app, but it’s just very poorly designed. It still feels like a prototype that one guy wrote, but never got funding to get a full team to develop. It’s very clunky software, not intuitive, and extremely frustrating to get the data out of it that you want. There are things called smart groups, currency groups, and limit groups, but you add one, and it shows nothing. They have pre-made reports, but you have to generate the report, then open it and see if it has the data you want. There is no functional sorting or filtering feature. Customer service is a joke..they take days to reply through email, and the responses aren’t helpful. They send you links that don’t work, or smart groups that don’t make sense. If this were a $9.99 one time fee app, it might be worth considering, but the price is a complete scam! I’ve subscribed for years, and I literally had to check in the App Store to see if they actually updated the app because nothing seems to have changed. Excel would work a lot better than this thing. Sad story: don’t buy it..Version: 2019.3

Too expensiveToo expensive going back to paper logbook Great otherwise.Version: 2019.3

Tiger82Absolute RUBBISH! A previously excellent app rendered useless and unreliable, do not waist your money. I am now spending my time looking for a replacement program instead of trying to recover my previous log book. Wouldn't let me rate below 1 Star!.Version: 7.0.3

Ripped off do not purchase this APPI purchased this as a once off app to do an electronic log book, it was not cheap, I am now unable to use the app as it has reached its limit of entry’s I am now unable to get support or log in..Version: 7.5.7

Good App but way overpricedLogTen has been my logbook now for several years. It was and still is a great product but the price structure has become ridiculous and still largely increases each year. There are other options that are almost as good for less than half the price. A real shame Coradine..Version: 7.3.4

Ripoff, Greedy Company!Ive paid so many times over the years for their software on both ios and mac, supposed one off purchases. Yeah right! Yearly subscription shafting...for what?? Seriously, if your a new or low time pilot, do a spreadsheet and save yourself THOUSANDS over the course of your career. Its not worth the money. Coradine, you should be ashamed of yourselves..Version: 7.3.3

LogTen is a scam!!!!!!!Well I use to love Logten when I first purchased the iPhone/Mac apps back in the day. They worked so smoothly and it was very easy to back up your log book onto your Mac. I purchased the iPhone/ Mac app for quite a bit of money back then, but I was ok with that because it never required a subscription. Now that my old phone (running iOS 10) died and I have to upgrade the the app due to the new phone running iOS 12. So guess what I have to pay them more money to use the same apps I paid for. You guys should be ashamed of yourself!!! Anyone who purchased the legacy apps should be grandfathered into your new way of doing things. I should not have to pay twice for the same service and if you respond that you are providing all these updates and new features for the sub cost I’m going to loose it. It’s a freaking logbook..Version: 7.5.7

In happy with having to switch to expensive subscriptionVery dirty trick switching from paid app to subscription... paid for this app in good faith only to have Cordine then stop supporting what was a fairly pricy app and require me to sign up to a expensive yearly subscription....Version: 7.5.4

The sync is very problematicI have had LogTen pro for probably 10 years now. I didn’t mind them going to the subscription model, it seemed like a good trade off for up to date software across all of my devices. The iCloud sync has not worked for months for me. One of the most valuable parts of this software is the seamless transfer of data between my iPad, phone and MacBook. That hasn’t worked seamlessly for a very long time. My attempts to rectify this with their technical support resulted in the deletion of entries and still no resolution to the syncing issue. I cannot recommend this software for this price if it doesn’t work as advertised..Version: 2021.2

Expensive and Not Suited for the every other day PilotNot good..Version: 8.0

Ok but complexOK app for short haul, doesn’t cope well with heavy crewing situations. Overly complicated and very expensive. I really wanted to like this app and tried for quite some time to live with it and see if I could get over my dislike of its complexity but in the end just deleted it and went back to paper for its simplicity..Version: 7.5.4

Don't waste your time with thisAn utter rip off. Quite how this company get away with this quite frankly borderline fraudulent app is beyond belief. As a professional pilot for one of the largest global Rotary operations I purchased this app in order to sync with my Mac version. So having spent a total approaching £70 I now find that not only can I not sync without paying the extortionate subscription, but additionally and as a result of having over 40 hrs of logged flying, I am unable to log further entries. The result being that Corradine have taken my money and provided software that I cannot use. There are many better systems for logging hours and I can only say to this company that news travels fast in the aviation industry. Think carefully before wasting your cash on this app..Version: 7.0.2

Very useful, but way too expensiveExcellent query and print presentation functionality, but the price is ridiculous - in that price range one can get a full EFB (!) containing a *ton* of tools - including a logbook. None of those EFB logbooks are as good as this one, but they do much of what most pilots need; one can perform most recurring queries and generate an IACRA table at a push of a button. If this software were priced much more reasonably (less than half for sure) I'd consider coming back and stay. But at this point I rather live with the shortcomings of an EFB logbook than pay a price I see as way too high..Version: 2020.1

Don’t do itThe price of a three year subscription price three years ago is now the same as the annual price. (Which was a massive hike on what it was to buy the program years ago)This company has been relying on people to be to scared to change and lose data. The reality is my company does a basic logbook the authority recognises. I will not be resubscribing and I think everybody should re consider there next subscription. I will certainly be telling the other 2500 pilots in my company exactly that. It must be nearly the most expensive thing on the App Store!.Version: 7.5.7

Cash grabbedBuught the full version and Bering forced to upgrade and pay more. Got an another 25 years of career ahead and don't see the point of paying 2500. Sorry you lost me and pretty much everybody from my airline.Version: 7.5.3

Money grabbing ********I paid £40 for my iPad LogTen pro back in the day. It was great, i have become so reliant on it that I could almost consider going along with this swindle. But then I realised, at the current subscription cost I would part with thousands of pounds between now and the end of my career. But much worse than that, my information would be beholden to a company that seems to have no shame in moving the goalposts so radically for their customers. Avoid this app or seek an alternative, think about the long term, because the developers certainly haven’t..Version: 7.5.4

LamePaid a lot of money for the last program and now I want to put my log book on a new device. Now they want me to pay even more money? Terrible move by coradine. I'll figure out some other way than shelling out more money to these guys..Version: 7.0.3

GreedyInitially shelled out for a one off purchase, now my data is held hostage unless I sign up for a subscription. Stay away from this mob, the app looks great and is functional however the bean counters behind it are greedy and will make it extremely hard for you to leave..Version: 7.5.4

Don't buyHaving same issue as other uses. Had Logten pro for 6 years. No issues until recent iOS upgrade. Not able to enter any data on iPad. Decided to reinstall. Only option now in X version. Desk top doesn't sync. Why pay for something that's no longer supported. Not able to use ipad version. Still waiting for response from Coradine after a week. 6 years of airline data entry!.Version: 7.1.1

RIP OFF - DON'T DO IT!This used to be a good app but a few years ago they began charging wildly for system updates for no valid reason. Now the subscription is here, and it is just far too expensive for what it does. Even though it is a major hassle to change my logbooks over to another app, it is worth it in the long-run to avoid the hefty fees that they are charging for the rest of my flying career! Take the time and research the many other equally as good, logbook apps that are far far more cost effective than this one..Version: 7.2

ExpensiveSimply not worth the money. Works well but the subscription is insanely expensive for what you get....Version: 7.5.7

Seriously flawed, days and days wasted trying to get iCloud to workThe actual logbook part is really good although it does crash occasionally (and frequently on the Mac OSX version). However my attempts to make is synchronise with my other devices have frustrated me so much and wasted so much time that I wish I had never bothered buying the subscription or for that matter any Apple products. I have tried everything and sometimes it inexplicably works and everything is synchronised but often I stare at screens waiting, go away, come back, hours pass then days but without explanation the iCloud syncing just won't happen. All recommended troubleshooting carried out but nothing happens, no error messages, just a stubborn refusal to work. Pure frustration. Whether it's Apple's implementation of iCloud Drive or Coradine is immaterial because the fact is I cannot make it work..Version: 7.2.1

Got screwedI remember supporting the company and their app back a few years ago, I had also purchased what was their "Full version" back then until they got too greedy and came up with their subscription based pricing. It honestly felt like betrayal since I had originally paid for the full amount and was left in the dark. Can't blame them though, it's the nature of the game. On towards a free logbook it is..Version: 7.5.7

Untrustworthy.Paid good money for the previous version of this app but after updating the iOS the app cannot be opened and data cannot be accessed without paying for the expensive subscription again (even if you had it backed up) and the 1 week free trial is worthless because it takes longer than that for them to get back to you with your data in a format for the new version. I am required by legislation to keep a log book but if Coradine can hold you to ransom like this I surely cannot trust them..Version: 7.5.3

Terrible value with the absurd subscription modelI used to recommend Logten pro as the expensive but ideal electronic logbook for the professional pilot. With the old version you could a hefty price once to use the software. It was fine because the old logten pro had great features and didn’t really need to be updated for the average pilot. However now they have moved to an extremely expensive annual subscription model that’s just not worth it. On top of it they refuse to update the old version that no longer works in IOS11 so I am no longer able to access my log book unless I want to pay their $100 subscription to get the latest version. Skip this app and go with a competitor. These guys will just keep raising the price and blame it on the new features they are developing that you don’t care about..Version: 7.5.4

ExpensiveIt would be nice if there were different subscriptions that you could get in order to save money. I don’t use most features but I am still paying for them all..Version: 2019.3

Do not trust to backupReason I use LogTen is to backup. Recently transferred to a new phone and the app cannot retrieve old iCloud information. Good job I backed up to Dropbox or else I would of lost my entire logbook. Spoke to advisor, they can’t help. Not worth the expense you pay every month to not be able to backup on iCloud. Probably why most people use this logbook.Version: 2021.2

Terrible customer supportHappy to take money for subscription but when problems arise, you’re on your own.Version: 7.5.7

Log Ten ProIt’s a great app with some neat reporting. There are some glitches though that do not seem to get sorted with updates. 1. I bought a lifetime package for Mac & IOS but it now only works on my Mac and I am being asked to take another subscription to get my iPad working again which would be useful. Surely lifetime means lifetime? 2. On my Mac the columns keep moving around so suddenly different hours such as night, instrument, rotary will be in a different order or mixed in with passengers which themselves are in a strange out of sync order. Despite dragging the errant columns back they will have moved again a week or two later.Version: 2021.1.1

Good App but too expensive for subscriptionI’ve been a professional user of Logten for 10 years. Logten X is obviously the best version and it works very well. After spending hundreds of pounds on previous versions and now on this version and now on a subscription I’m not really sure its worth it anymore. It’s an awful lot of money every year to just have the ability to sync between your devices..Version: 7.5.4

Criminal! After paying for and using their older version, they force an upgrade and are now looking to charge a heavy subscription fee. Worse, they block further manual logbook entries making it a royal pain to figure out what to do next. Now I will have to somehow format and transfer all of this data to a new, more ethically run company. I don’t mind paying for good service, but this is straight up robbery. It’s shameful what they have done to their customers. I’m surprised they haven’t been taken to court over their business ethics..Version: 7.5.4

Great product but to expensive and a unnecessary appHi I liked the less expensive logbook with no updates but greedy Apple blocked a few of my apps, with the latest IOS UPDATE forcing me purchase newer versions. FYou Apple. That being said Airline pilots have no real use for electronic logbooks other then being tech savvy. But if the price was reasonable everyone would subscribe. The log ten X is an amazing product. Please drop the price and see the dollars role in. Regards, Airline Pilot with family too feed..Version: 7.5.2

HopelessCrashed right in the middle of type rating with iOS update. No support. Now have to pay High annual fee if I want to continue using my log book. Don’t trust your logbook to anyone for safe keeping who want to keep charging higher fees the longer you use it..Version: 7.5.4

ShamefulShameful to be charging such a exorbitant amount and an on going subscription. People have already invested hundreds on the previous versions that don’t have contined support !!!! Said you don’t see that people are looking for alternatives.Version: 7.0.2

Overpriced.. Don't provide service to previous versionHave been using this product for about about 2.5yrs but at each upgrade of the Apple OS it stops working. Support just states old version doesn't work, wont support it and if you want your logbook buy next version. Subscription service a rip off after paying over $100 for the apps. Going to another provider that has once-only lifetime charge. They even convert your logbook for free! Sorry, cant recommend unless you have spare $$ each and every year. Was a good product 😔.Version: 7.1.1

IPad Split Screen UI still needs work!I’ve been providing the exact same feedback for a few years now, still to no avail…. The Split Screen UI on iPad doesn’t work well, and hasn’t been updated since Split Screen was first introduced years ago. I want to use LogTen in the cockpit without it having to take up the majority of the screen. All that happens now is that the app cuts off the right side of the app, and doesn’t let you do anything meaningful with the content that remains visible..Version: 2021.2

ByeYep. Another pilot in a long list of unhappy ex-customers. Not being "cheap" as claimed by others; this is an app that simply is not worth what is being charged...again and again. Combined with disabling the former version of the app in order to force us to upgrade, it's just bad business. I used to recommend it, but no more. Bye!.Version: 7.0.1

ReviewToo expensive.Version: 2019.3

Not worth upgradingHaving bitten the bullet as Coradine e-mailed to say that my old version of LogTen would no longer sync after the next iOS upgrade, I upgraded to the latest version of LogTen Pro X. How I wish I hadn't. If I could go back to the older version I would. This version is truly awful. First of all, on upgrading, it scrambled a lot of my data and I had to spend a couple of hours going over the last few years correcting things. Then I tried the iCloud sync. What a joke. It simply doesn't, even after a couple of days of having different data on a couple of devices. So I reverted to the old WiFi sync. Well that is so flaky as to be laughable. The program doesn't see the other devices when they are connected to the same network and sat beside each other. This is a premium priced piece of software which isn't worth a fraction of the cost. It does not do what it claims, it throws in errors in the data and is untrustworthy. Save your money. Go elsewhere..Version: 7.1.1

Very disappointedI used this app for approx. 1.5 yrs, logging all my flights & uploading images etc. to only have everything completely deleted from both my iPhone & iPad after a recent update. I tried to get support to recover the data by writing an email to the developer, but I never received a response. Very disappointed is an understatement..Version: 7.5.4

Overpriced Subscription based appThis is a nice app, unfortunately the subscription is overpriced! Report feature is confusing..Version: 2021.2

$$$$Bought the original version which was advertised as “lifetime”, only to end up having the “lifetime” version no longer supported and only way to continue is a hefty yearly subscription. Which I did because I didn’t want to re enter it all. App works well though besides the poor business model..Version: 7.5.4

Overpriced. Going back to paper logbookWhen this app first appeared many years ago it seemed like a great addition to the flight bag. What it has morphed into over years is a recurring revenue based pilot ripoff application. Why couldn't it have remained as a simple flight log ? A perfectly good application destroyed by the greed of software developers. Do yourself a favour and don't go down this pilot gouging subscription software path. Keep your paper logbook and take a digital photo of each page and store in Dropbox. Goodbye LogTen Pro.Version: 7.1.1

Don’t get locked inI’ve been using LogTen pro since around 2011 and would recommend new pilots avoid the unjustifiably high pricing scheme for an app that is essentially as complex as a spreadsheet program. When you look at the duration of a pilots career which may span 40 years, and factor in the annual price, you are making an expensive investment for a logbook with a difficult transition back if you ever decide to end your subscription. I originally purchased the app for a once off payment and was happy with that. However, with IOS updates, my logbook was no longer supported and I was forced onto an ever increasing price for a subscription service and little options to leave without having to manually enter or rewrite my logbook. Two stars for this review because the app is functional and easy to use as an electronic logbook..Version: 8.0

Forced onto a subscription which is way too expensiveFirstly, this is great app, which I originally paid £50 for. However, Coradine then stopped updating & supporting it, forcing me to change to this version which requires a subscription of £78 every year! It’s one thing to buy an app knowing that there’s a subscription but to pay £50 for an app which then becomes obsolete, forcing you to pay more than that every year, for what is effectively the same app, is very underhand. As a professional airline pilot, I, and hundreds of my colleagues, have had to look elsewhere. Very disappointed..Version: 2020.3.1

ScamI paid around £40 for what was described as a one off payment for this app, then they made it incompatible with the newest iOS and released this which is the exact same app and are now trying to charge £70 per year. Absolutely not what I signed up for..Version: 7.5.4

Ridiculous subscriptionI have been a custom of log ten since 2005. The software has been great and the ability to upgrade when I felt like the features would be of value, which was most of the time. However, the new subscription model is absolutely ridiculous. To pay $100 a year just to be able to use software that does not change or have any information that the company must constantly update such as maps or airport data like foreflight is absurd. I use to recommend logten to all the instructors I work with and all of the students where I work, which is in excess of 400, especially bc of the ability to sign flights, but I will now be finding a new logbook to use and recommend. Edit: As if it wasn’t bad enough before at nearly $100 a year with the Mac version being free to use if you purchased the app. Now they have removed that as well and increased the price again to $130 a year. The developer responds with they have a fantastic suppose team and always adding new features but should I really have to pay more for night mode, a feature that is it even needed, also if the software worked as it was suppose to there wouldn’t need to be any “service” always there to help. Im love technology but these people are what criminals look like in the tech era. I will be switching to Pilot Pro. One time $40 app and free web app with all the same features..Version: 7.5.1

RIP OFFBeen with the app since it started and they only getting more greedier each year. Thought the 3 year package was a hit but just found out that now they charge annually for the same price they did for 3 years almost. Like seriously what updates do you do that requires so much money. From a Pilots perspective all we need is a recording system and ability to print. THERE ARE FAR BETTER APPS OUT THERE that dont rip you off like this. Take my word guys and stay away as once you start with your data logging they hook you on just how they did with the app updates previous years. Too much money for not enough service. If there was a lower star on the scale in the negatives thats what I would be rating it !.Version: 7.5.6

Not as seamless as I hopedI started using LogTen since my flight school advertised its integration with flight schedule pro. However, LogTen, even though it is integrated to some extent, does not pull in any previous flight data from FSP. The only way to have “accurate” time accumulation is to input all previous flight time as one lump amount, without showing one bit of detail. I’m not about to go in manually to add previous flights when the seamless integration is the reason I signed up. Oh well, looks like I’ll be continuing to use my paper logbook and MS excel..Version: 2023.2

Bait and SwitchI bought LogTen Pro a few years ago and really liked the app. Easy to use and all the other wonderful things. But a few weeks ago I open it up to log a flight and it doesn’t work anymore. Lo and Behold! They changed rules and want more money. I thought I purchased an electronic pilot log book where I can fill out flights...pretty simple. Now i have to pay more every year to add flights and on top of that the price is simply outrageous! To me it really does feel like a bait and switch. The correspondence Ive had with their customer service keeps explaining how other apps work with pricing as if it makes it ok to change the deal. No thanks. I jumped through the hoops (and it’s complicated) to retrieve my data for my flights I’ve logged already but that’s it. I’m not giving these greedy folks any more of my money if this is how they treat their customers. Judging by the reviews, I’m not alone..Version: 7.5.1

Good, but expensive in comparisonI really like the look of the logbook and how it can be utilized. But for me as a back up for my paper logbook it is quite expensive compared to a lot of other products that serve the same purpose but with out all the polish. The new increase in price for a yearly subscription is ridiculous and is taking advantage of the people who are relying on this product. Will not sync correctly after last few updates.Version: 7.2.1

Used to be my app of choiceStarted using Logten pro in 2013. One time payment for phone and Mac- no yearly subscription. Very nice app, excellent customer support, always there for me and bending over backwards, when I needed help with anything including customizing my logbook summary to include a DC10 flight engineer column lol. Too bad the yearly subscription now is so expensive. It’s waaaay too much in my opinion. I will just use my ForeFlight logbook which logs my flights automatically, and until I learn how it works (and that it’s reliable) simply use Excel or Numbers which will auto share between all my devices for free, though it won’t look as pretty as Logten pro. Really sad to be leaving after so many years, but it’s time to save money. Thanks for the wonderful support guys!.Version: 8.0

Going the same way as AdobeAdobe also chose the forced subscription model, and now designers are leaving by the thousands for Affinity. The same will happen here. For the cost of a movie every month is a weak argument, considering all the “just the cost of a movie” expenses professional pilots pay every month. Great product but the price is beyond justification..Version: 2020.3.1

Great principle for multi platform appBut won’t work on iPadOS for me, and others. Very frustrating and no fix in sight sadly. Time to check alternative logbooks!.Version: 2019.3

Expensive subscription model for absolutely 0 new featuresNo new features have been released in a few years. $100+ per year for an app that could improve so much but they just won’t add any new features. Especially ones I’ve messaged about 4+ years ago. They advertise an amazing support structure.....but if they’re app worked as advertised they wouldn’t need to rely on their support structure to justify paying $100+ per year. Edit: In response to the developers reply - “thousands of updates and improvements” sounds like something that should be included FOR FREE when you purchase an app, not justify $100/year. ForeFlight charges same process and they have a logbook that works exactly like yours, but comes with so so so so much more. You need MAJOR updates, not little tweaks. You sent out an email recently about “now we can show 117 limits”...YOU COULD DO THAT 4 YEARS AGO NOTHING HAS CHANGED!!! And hows that split screen coming along? I requested that 4+ years ago and said it was “coming” but nothing yet. Horrible service. Definitely not worth the money. Find something else. Anything else. All these reviews say the exact same thing..Version: 2021.1.2

Good App but not worth the moneySo i’ll start by being fair to the app which is a good log book tool with lots of little handle summaries. However, it is not worth the money they are charging for it. Back in 2015 i paid just under £40 for what i thought was a handy tool which was easier than my Excel Spreadsheet. Fast forward 3 years and now they want me to pay £70 per year for the same app after they stopped upgrading it with the IOS upgrades. This means i now have to re-input my flight data back into the trusty Excel spreadsheet. Overall if you just want an easy logbook app don’t waste your money here. If you have cash to burn, it’s a solid app and in fairness will let you take your data out in a Tab format if you change your mind..Version: 7.5.4

Racist email.I’ve been a loyal customer for years. Last week this company sent the most racist email I’ve ever received. 1: I won’t be shamed for my race - I didn’t choose it. 2: This company should have the right to say what they want and their customers have the right to not put up with it. I’ve moved my subscription to Safelog and won’t be coming back - especially knowing that some of my subscription fee would be going to Black Lives Matter, a racist organization. Cute reply. No, that was NOT the full email. You missed all 5 links that followed his signature block - including the link, “75 Things White People Can Do for Racial Justice” If it were “White Lives Matter” and “75 things Black People Can Do for racial Justice”, would it be racist? How about another of your links, NAACP? If it were the National Association for the Advancement of White People, would that be racist? Race shaming white people will not get the change we need. This divisive garbage regurgitated by your CEO is classless and shameful. Until we all see each other as “people”, not “white people”, “black people”, “brown people”, “(insert color here) people”, racism will unfortunately continue. ALL Lives Matter! Bezos can spew the same racist filth because he has no competition. You, sir, do - among many, Safelog..Version: 2020.1

$130 a year for nonstop problems and zero supportI loved the idea of having a service to connect all my Apple devices, but I have had so many problems and their support service is sub par at best. There is no phone number to call for help or messaging service. You must submit an email with response in 24 hours or longer. I’ve found the ability to sync between devices is very glitchy and can cause rewrites of any changes you worked on. If you intend on using more than one device for your logbook keeping I do not recommend LogTen Pro and I will be switching to Crew Lounge Pilot Log after good reviews from friends..Version: 2020.3.1

PoorVery poor software update has app starting and crashing on each opening..Version: 2024.2

TiresomeFrom the moment I first started subscribing, I had all kinds of issues with a program that was supposed to make my life easier. I contacted tech support years ago to address an issue I had with certain hours inexplicably not being counted. I got a strange response with someone from support attempting to show me that it was working fine while simultaneously attaching a file that reinforced the fact that it still wasn’t counting those hours. I eventually through hours of troubleshooting figured it out on my own, but it was emblematic of what was to come. When it works, it works, but for such a high priced program, it should work better than it does. For a while sync was (and honestly still is) troublesome. And my latest issue post update, is that the iOS app won’t even open if I don’t have an active Wi-Fi connection. It just crashes. I’m now at a point where I am seriously considering just using a spreadsheet because this is getting ridiculous..Version: 2024.2.3

Price Gouging at its WorstLike other posters, I have been a supporter of Logten through various iterations and have spent considerable amounts as versions have been replaced to keep my logbook going. Noah Lieberman's justification of applying in-app purchase logic to this is totally flawed as it does not recognize the big money spent by many on previous versions. If Coradine is serious about maintaining its position as the market leader logbook for Mac, then there should be significant discounts for previous users. Regarding the update - not a huge improvement and definitely not worth the huge amount to maintain a subscription. I have taken the discounted first year, but will not renew unless Coradine get their act together and acknowledge that they have gone too far this time. The latest update cynically bumps off the significant number of poor reviews that this product now gets. Honestly, do you really think a database is worth a £40 per year subscription just to use it?.Version: 7.0.5

Can’t do the new pricing modelProbably the best E-Logbook out there... But. I’ve been using LogTen since about 2006 over various versions and have always loved this software, the excellent service provided by Coradine, and have recommended the app to many colleagues over the years. That being said, I’m going back to paper and spreadsheets. I just don’t see the value with the continual subscription model of pricing. The lengthy justifications offered for the annual price seem to assume that every user will opt for every new issue of the software. While I did upgrade my LogTen software a number of tunes over 10+ years, it was when I decided that the new features were something I considered were worth the cost. I don’t buy a new phone every time Apple decides to release one, and I don’t need every single update to the apps I use either if it means an auto-renewal subscription. I submit that a choice between the purchase of a fully functional version (which should last years, though will not benefit from every little improvement along the way) and a subscription which will keep me up to the minute, would lead to a pricing model that would satisfy more users. My fingers are crossed, and in the mean time I have my phone’s camera for the journey log, my pen, and can whip up an excel spreadsheet that will get the job done..Version: 8.0

Was hoping for more functionalityThis is the third time I’ve been pushed into having to update my LogTen Pro. I had the original and then an IOS update came out and it wasn’t compatible. Fast forward a few years and once again same thing. At least then it was a one time purchase. Now thanks to the overlords at apple and IOS 11 I am force to do the annual subscription. Ok. What surprised me is that there is almost no functionality improvements over previous versions. One would think that after so many years IOS would finally be able to import airline schedules from FLICA or what system you use, but it still only available from the MAC. For what it is the program is decent and it does enable quick reference for filing out an 8710 and watching your flight limits. However both were available on my previous non IOS 11.0 version. Over a thirty year career this program will wind up costing a pilot several thousands of dollars. I may just print out my logbook at year end and go back to the old way. Just my two cents. -Michael.Version: 7.5.1

Won't synch with iCloud-extortionate pricing planI purchased the original version expecting to own the software. however, the developers have moved it towards a subscription based service rendering original software obsolete and requiring a subscription to synch between devices using iCloud. An overpriced subscription for its serious lack of functionality. Synching between desktop Mac version and ipad version is flaky and eventually stops working. instructions lead you to delete and restart the icloud synch permissions thus exposing you to thepossible loss of all data for your aviation career when the desktop versin lookds at the empty icloud data and synchs with that!... AVOID this software..find a logbook program that does what it claims to do if you are going to pay a hefty annual fee..Version: 7.3.4

Great interface. Sync feature is its weak point.I have been using LogTen for a couple years now. Once you set it up how you like, entries are quick and easy on the iPad/iPhone. However the iCloud sync feature has caused me many headaches over the years. Several times now I have had to troubleshoot iCloud syncing issues. My current issue is that my iPad will not sync and my mac says it has synced but doesn't reflect the new entries that I've created on my iPhone. I'm currently deleting and reinstalling it on my iPad and then I'll deal with my mac.. this is frustrating because it takes a lot of time to go through and verify that I did not lose an entry that I may have created on my iPad that didn't sync to my other devices. I have had to do something similar to this a couple times since I've started LogTen. I wish they would add a sync now button or a pull down to sync/refresh feature. Other than that it's a great app even though it's one of the more expensive options..Version: 7.5

Lost all entries!Purchased logbook four years ago, and have renewed my subscription three times since. Assumed that the $75 fee would provide a backup of data on the Log Ten Pro website. After my iPad was accidentally erased, I attempted to retrieve my logbook entries from Log Ten Pro...THEY DON’T KEEP THEM! I was instructed to retrieve information from my iCloud (which I also pay for separately). For some reason, only the first year’s worth of logbook entries were saved. It seems that some setting in the app must have changed when I renewed my subscription, and not a single entry was saved after that. I was told that I must have changed something in the “settings” part of the app. I DID NOT...there would be no reason for me to even go into the settings, as nothing has changed on my end...same airline, same plane, same position, same base. So, for no apparent reason, I have lost the last 30 months worth of flight information. Not sure what you get for $75 every year. There are many other logbooks out there that only require an initial purchase to use. I would choose one of those and save yourself hundreds or even thousands of dollars over your career. You decide!.Version: 8.1.1

Price is insane$100/year to sync your log book. Outrageous price.Version: 7.5

Mixed feeling over mixed operationI absolutely love the app … HOWEVER… I use the app every time I go to work so I only had the basic subscription. But then I figured it would be easier to manage on an iPad, but I didn’t have one yet, so when I bought an iPad I upgraded my subscription. The cloud rarely allowed my iPad to get all the current information I put into my phone and I wound up not using it. So when it came to renew my subscription I attempted to downgrade back to the basic plan, and while my subscription says basic now I was charged the full $130 ($140 w/ tax) for the premium! I am NOT happy right now. I called Apple Care and they said the only thing they could do is cancel my entire subscription and then wait for everything to clear then repurchase the app on the basic plan. I love been flying for 15 years. I waited until I had over 5,000 hours to buy this app, and it took me 6 months to enter my paper logbook into this app. I cannot afford the kind of time it would take to input the over 8,000 hours I have now. I just want a refund of the $50 that I’m owed now being back on the basic plan..Version: 2021.2

DisappointingSyncing has been a permanent problem for several versions, and yet again, my Mac, iPad and iPhone don’t display the same details or sync, despite them saying they have. I do back them up and try restoring, but even then, they don’t sync. Aspects of this software are great, but overall, it’s not worth the money. This is actually making me consider going back to paper!.Version: 7.5.2

Unforgivable bugs and UI decisionsSo… was recommended this app and migrated over. Found the app relatively user friendly although there do seem to be some glaring omissions (logout button anyone?) In any case the problems started a few days ago when a CFI friend was having a look with the intention of maybe migrating over as well and he managed to change himself to PIC off ALL my flights where I was PIC - even though those flights were “locked” which supposedly prevents the data within from being changed. Then I had an issue whereby my iPhone would not sync with my iPad. All the entries were in my iPad with nothing shown in the iPhone. No problem - a recent update from LogTen along with an email saying that all devices must be updated for the newest sync feature to function. So all devices updated and when logging in on the iPad I then faced a screen saying the data is out of sync and must be redownloaded from the cloud. At this point I knew 100% what was about to happen. Clicked the button - the only button - the only option presented to you the user is to continue and… you guessed it - all my flights disappeared. So now my iPad and iPhone are perfectly in sync with nothing showing on either. Fortunately I had made a backup prior to all of this but…. You can’t use it. You must contact them. The design decisions made are beyond frustrating..Version: 2024.1.1

Latest version unusableAny app that REQUIRES a network connection to be able to launch is unusable, ESPECIALLY in aviation. If only I could revert to the previous version. :-/.Version: 2024.1.2

Handy, but unreliable.I have had Log Ten Pro for about 5 years now. It’s a handy tool, but it’s not reliable enough to keep as your only logbook. I have always printed off reports from it every now and then, and thank goodness I have as it is dreadful at backing-up, and has never successfully overcome such a major hurdle as a new telephone and only occasionally survives an iOS update. Great to use as an adding-machine and report writer, but you need to keep paper (or pdf) copies somewhere too. This is an edit, to reply to the Developer Response, below: I have always used Cloud Backup, but when switching to a new phone, the app is unable to load the backup. Contact with support did show some promise, initially, and passed on a complex way to extract backups from Apple backup files. I was able to do this and sent some files to support, that they said they would be able to merge, and thus help me recover my logbook. However, despite several reminders, I have had no response from them for over 3 weeks. Further edit: the email system used by Support is almost as unreliable as the app itself. Yet another edit: having just spent a few evenings inputting data from my pdf backups, I have to come realise just how clunky this app is. The input process is illogical, and it will happily allow combinations of flight hours, which are not possible to log, legally. I’m guessing that there is very little input by pilots in their development area. In summary. This app is ok to log hours, but not easy. It has lots of features that you may or may not want or need. As a professional airline pilot it does not really give me what I need , although with a significant bit of effort I could probably make it work. If it was free, or very cheap, I would stick with it, but its current subscription price outstrips my second most expensive app (RosterBuster - excellent app) by over a factor of 4. My advice: do not buy it. Another edit: I decided to ‘splash out’ on a subscription for the latest version, in the vague hope that I may eventually get my multiple logbook backups in one place, and be able to move on to a reliable system. Whilst doing this, I wanted to ensure that the data I was laboriously inputting manually was being backed-up, so explored the ‘cloud’ and ‘backup’ features of Log Ten. It’s not simple, and the FAQs’ Knowledge Base is still talking about versions 4 and 5. My advice on this app: avoid at all costs..Version: 7.5.4

Only purchased because I was forced too...I initially bought LogTen Pro years ago for my iOS device and Mac. Loved it! One time payment and it worked like a charm. A few months after purchasing LogTen x was released and support immediately stopped for LogTen Pro. No more iCloud sync was the biggest thing. So I just kept using LogTen Pro on my phone alone and have been for the most part happy. Now with iOS 11 LogTen Pro will not open. So I have been forced to upgrade to LogTen Pro X. Now I have to pay $75 a year to be able to look at my own logbook. Really??? Seems like a sham and a poor move on coradines part to me. At this point I’m not going to another logbook and re-entering all of my data... so they have me cornered and I really have no choice but to pay the price... To top it all off, there is no way to import my previous LogTen Pro logbook into the new LogTen Pro X. When I initially opened the new app it asked if I wanted to import my logbook from LogTen Pro but nothing happened. Bottom line, I like the logbook, don’t like having to pay yearly to see it....Version: 7.5.1

GreeeeeedyWhat a low blow. Charging a monthly fee. Way to ruin your product and lose loyal customers. Goodbye..Version: 7.0.3

Only okay for airline pilotsFor the price this logbook should have direct import for roster and times. Not through some poorly working 3rd party apps and support. Haven’t seen a useful new feature for professional pilots since I started using it 8 years ago. Runs stable and has cloud backup. Used to be half the price..Version: 2020.2

£5400/$7000 over a career on Logbook! As a piece of software and one off buy Log Ten Pro works great, as is the tech support but over a 45 year career at today’s prices you will be spending circa £5400/$7000 on a glorified spreadsheet/logbook on subscriptions that is insane. Originally I bought the Mac and then iPhone and finally iPad predecessor software that were good but forced to upgrade due to their incompatibility with newer 32 bit operating systems, this seemed a long story by Coradine. Now it is forced subscription with no choice because this is more lucrative to Coradine. There is a reason why my fellow pilots are shocked when they see me using Log Ten Pro, it’s because of the cost of it! Well after over 16,000 hours, I will now use an alternative as there are many better things to spend $7000 on!.Version: 7.5.7

App keeps crashing, IT support not the bestLove the app when it works. Recently it shuts down when opening the app. I’ve sent the extracted files to Kenny a “Jedi”. He is slow to respond and quite condescending. I’ve been without the app for over a week now and unfortunately I’ve had to revert to the manual logbook. No real urgency shown or any talk of compensation from Coradine. It’s not a cheap app and I expected more..Version: 8.0

Can’t sync iPhoneApp works great, except syncing. Very sporadic in terms of the computer app seeing my device. I can get the computer app to see my iPad if I set up a private network, but nothing seems to make it see the iPhone. I’m running the latest iOS and MacOS versions..Version: 7.5.4

Too expensiveRidiculous that to get cloud synch between devices you have to pay Pro subscription which which is only needed by airline pilots who need to import their schedules..Version: 2023.3

Very poor company to deal with. This company has been taking money from me since 2010 with various upgrades including the latest X. You cannot migrate your logbook from earlier versions. It is a complete ripoff. They have taken an honourable profession and the need to keep an accurate logbook and abandoned the faithful users that they had completely. After two emails they haven't replied to my questions to have this issue sorted out. Don't waste your money with this unethical mob. I'll be complaining to Apple also to have them barred from the App Store. Coradine can shove their program and I'll be passing that info to everyone I fly with..Version: 7.0.6

Done with LogTenAfter almost 10 years with this app and more than once having to pay again for the “new” version this last time when I upgraded to iOS 11 and was locked out again and now told that if I wanted to be able to continue using the app it was going to be $100/yr I have ditched it!!! Done with Coradine! Reply: As you can see from other reviews I am not the only customer you have lost based on your decision to go to a subscription based model. IMHO your app has ballooned into a far more complex version with features than I would never use in my profession (helicopter). Have you considered a “lite” version? All I need is a basic logbook with flight/duty and no yearly subscription..Version: 7.5.1

No way!!!I was seriously considering buying this app after listening to good reviews from fellow collegues pilots but that was before I realized I now had to pay the same money, but every year!?!? No thanks....Version: 7.0.3

Terrible customer supportJust joined a new airline so need my logbook NOW. What happens? iOS 11 update dumps my entire logbook. Can’t get any of the rubbish coradine fixes to work. Get an email saying customer support will take 4 Days!!! Absolutely not good enough. Pay top dollar but get 3rd rate service. Avoid!!!!.Version: 7.5.3

Problem with subscription with new iPhoneI just changed my iPhone for a new one and the app doesn’t recognise my subscription or allow me to restore it😐. There seems to be no ability in the app to deal with this, it says I only have a trial subscription and keeps restoring that, which is locking me out from using the app. Very disappointing that simply changing my phone for a new one is all it takes to stop the subscription working. Be warned, as so far, despite a number of e-mails all I have had is an automated reply that they are “working on it and will reply within 2 business days!”. Pretty poor functionality and support for such an expensive subscription.🙄.Version: 2019.3

Do NOT pay for this app!I'm a pilot flown the B737 B777 & B787 I paid for the "lifetime" subscription, was given a new iPad for work went to update my apps and with a little name change and I have to repay for the entire program! This company is a disgrace!!.Version: 7.3.3

Great software.... But..I am new to digital logbooks and what they have to offer. I bit the bullet and bought the $130 subscription. After spending 3 days to import my 900+ hours, it’s nice to have it imported. The UI and features this app offers is fantastic, but the pricing model is a bit much. $130 yearly subscription for an app that I don’t need to change or upgrade. Thinking about it now, ForeFlight offers an almost identical digital logbook for pretty much the same price, PLUS all the features that the ForFlight has to offer. I don’t know if I’ll be sticking around with this logbook into my airline pilot career..Version: 7.5.7

Ever Heard of Customer Service? If you create an app and advertise it as a fully paid up product, under apples terms and conditions you then have a duty to uphold it. Suddenly deciding to become a subscription service when you initial product was advertised as a one off payment is probably a violation of apples terms of service. Unfortunately you can't give zero stars so I had to give one. I know your existing customers will leave you, but I hope on top of that now one new is dumb enough to sign up and that somebody reports your company to Apple and/or trading standards for the complete con you just tried to pull off, and if that doesn't take your company under, then I hope that everyone that used to use your program moving to another provider does! The group of people your app supplies are professionally qualified pilots. What a genius idea to try and con this standard of professional and what a great reputation you have created for yourselves in this industry, well done!.Version: 7.0.3

Customer supportI am still waiting for a response to the last two emails I have sent to Log Ten support..Version: 7.5.7

Terrible Terrible Customer ServiceAbsurdly expensive. You will have no control when they want to raise the price, look elsewhere. Log10 Pro used to be $100 good for a lifetime. A few days before the subscription change where they charge an outrageous amount each year, I added the Log10 Pro subscription to my cart and went through to complete the order. A couple days later I realized the order did not go through correctly. They changed the subscription from $100/lifetime to a much higher $100/per year cost. They would not even in kindness be willing to grandfather me through on the old plan price. Now I find out that with Atlas Air and many other airlines, it is impossible to import my schedule, many flights at a time into my Log10 Pro logbook. So, I might as well have just done it the old way or found a much cheaper option, or just Excel spreadsheet or something. These people will happily take your money, and provide very little assistance. I still have never been able to talk to any sort of support over the phone. Plus, there is no guarantee they won't blast the price up even higher in the future. There are much cheaper options that are just as good..Version: 7.5.7

Annoyed!!For those that think this is a great app....it use to be better. Wish I’d never started using LT years ago if I’d know they’d do all this to us long term users. Inevitably I’ll use something else..Version: 7.5.4
