Arccos for Positive User Reviews

Great app with a few issuesOverall the app is good and provides useful info to help you improve at golf. However, there are some errors that make it difficult to fully trust the system. For example, my average score on par 5s for a recent round is not correct. This is something that is easily calculable for me so I can see it is incorrect. It makes me wonder how much of the data that I can’t calculate/confirm is correct. It would be great if the app showed you the strokes gained for each shot you had during your round, instead of just the overalls. I assume they don’t because then you could calculate your overall numbers and see how everything is off. Also, while playing (and after) it would be cool to see your expected shots to hole out (for example, when 150 yards in the fairway it may say your strokes gained expected are 3.2 strokes to hole out).Version: 4.4.15

So far so goodSo far so good although the missing star is for the missing app support. I would have preferred to view all the info on my iPad..Version: 4.79.0

Just get this!If you are reading reviews ti see if this is worth it, let me tell you ABSOLUTELY. It has brought my handicap down so much. The club selection is always spot on. Need to know how many club wind you are playing into? Check. There’s a hazard to carry you can’t see, need ti know the yardage? Check. New course have no idea where to hit it? Check. This app does all you need it to. I’m on my 2nd year I have so much data collected. This app makes it feel like you are playing g with a real caddie. Gives you wind speed and direction. Let’s you compare your play to any handicap level. Tells you where you miss the most, the least, and what ti work in. 15/10 recommend. Some are saying having a phone in your pocket is the absolute worst. Don’t listen to those princesses. You won’t even notice it. A phone in pocket to lower your handicap by 5 a year? Yea I’ll take that deal. Dang good deal as Lt. Aldo Raines once said..Version: 4.11.7

Game changerI purchased my sensors when they launched and love them! Coupled with Apple Watch I find everything worked perfectly..Version: 4.4.6

Very good but Needs improvementThe idea is great and when it works. Too many missed shots and does not switch holes automatically on some courses. I know we could manually switch the holes but beyond a point - becomes a distraction. On the positive side - when it works, the app offers a good post mortem of your rounds providing key insight into where you lost strokes and where you need improvement. This is a great feedback and you can go the range and dial in improvements. I hope Arccos continues to stabilize and improves the user experience as I think there is lot of potential..Version: 4.62.0

Sucks battery lifeReally sucks battery life when using Apple Watch. Only last 2 hours tops. They need to find a way to extend battery life..Version: 4.4.15

Best Golf AppI’ve been using this app for 20 rounds now and it is amazing how easy it is to use and how much information it provides. It does take a little bit of time to get used to correcting things on the course but I do it all after every hole and it takes 30 seconds to a minute to correct everything before the next hole. This is easy to do while you wait for someone to take the next shot. But once you get the hang of this it is so cool to see an image of your entire round hole by hole and have all the stats you need including average distance by club. This is definitely worth the money and it’s been a ton of fun..Version: 3.9.7

Play better golf!Been using the app since summer 2020 when I received my cobra clubs. Was skeptical, didn’t like carrying my phone in my pocket for every shot. Bought an Apple Watch at the beginning of this season, and was struggling with it the first couple weeks (getting it to sync rounds and missing shots) but there was an update about 3 weeks ago I’d say and the shot tracking using the watch works flawlessly, I never have to go back in and edit my strokes or anything. The yardage is spot on and matches up exactly to friends’ rangefinders. All I have to do is flip up my wrist and know exactly how to play each shot. Highly recommend to new and veteran golfers. Love what you guys at Arccos are doing! Wish more companies would hop on board..Version: 4.4.8

SynchonisationStill only about 80% working on sychronisation between iwatch and iphone. The watch tends to lag the phone in terms of recording shots and closing holes out. It then sticks on the watch in terms of hole progression. Once the watch gets stuck on a hole there is no easy way to get it to resychronise with the iphone……would be good if the watch could be forced to go onto the next hole dather than waiting to close out the hole itself..Version: 4.78.0

Worth the moneyI’ve been using this for about 3 years now and have enjoyed getting feedback on my game and the caddie feature to help account for wind, slope, etc. A few years ago, I was able to get the app on my iPad but I am no longer able to do this. I would really like to have this feature back as it is nice to be able to review my rounds or view the course layout the day before playing to plan a strategy for holes. Customer service is great. I played a course a few times prior, but when I went to play it again, they told me it wasn’t mapped. I called in on a Saturday when teeing off and within a couple holes, they had remapped the course and I was able to reload the course and use it going forward..Version: 3.8.5

Great appAbsolutely fantastic app. Would highly recommend for any golf enthusiast. The data available after a period is very useful, insightful and in some cases eye opening. Will definitely give you some feedback on areas of your game to work on. Only small gripe is the web based beta version which seems to have been in development for an age - but it doesn’t prevent you accessing the features and associated data sets.Version: 4.9.6

Great App! One additional feature would be even sweeter!Great app!! I find the shot detection to be excellent now in 2021. I bought it in late 2019 so didn’t really use it until the 2020 season and it had some issues detecting shots and I couldn’t use my Bluetooth speaker. But with some updates and finally receiving my Link, I can now not only listen to music and use my phone with no problems, but more importantly the shot detection has been near flawless even with the putter. I like data the data on my game, so that’s great and helping me to improve by concentrating on what I need more work on. But one thing for the developer: I’m hoping you guys can look into and possibly investigate a collaboration with The Grint app. The Grint is a nice social app for golf that creates what they call a “Golferhood”, allowing you to see your golf buddies and tournament group’s live scores and stats. I certainly prefer Arccos analytics and stats better but would love for my shots and scores to automatically or with a single “button” push my scores into The Grint app. I currently have to input manually the information but have become spoiled by Arccos and am accustomed to not having to input scores and data between each hole..Version: 4.4.10

Fantastic piece of kitIt’s not perfect from time to time doesn’t register a shot but I think that is massively outweighed by the amount of helpful information it provides. From recommending what club to hit on the course to your strengths and weaknesses so you know what to work on. For me been somewhat newish (not played for years) it’s giving me fantastic insight in to my game..Version: 4.13.0

Great Purchase! Negative Reviews are not TrueThe app and the sensors work great. You just have to be disciplined when varying your clubs. This is the most accurate GPS system I have used and I have tried hundreds of them. It’s important to first download the course. Next most important step is to turn on the link device at least 10 min. before starting. Last final important advice is to always walk up to the ball with the club faced down, even if you walk with several. If you follow these steps, this will work 99.8% of the time and give you extreme accurate data. It is amazing to not have to worry about looking at your phone and utilizing the app. You can just leave it in your golf cart. This is beautiful for people who use rangefinders but one to grab pro data..Version: 4.70.0

FantasticPlayed 4 rounds and I learn something new each time. Be patient and learn how the app functions. First of all, I wear my iPhone on my belt clip with the microphone/speakers directed at ball. It has never missed a shot. Even tap in putts. It keeps perfect score and moves from hole to hole seamlessly. After round it is fairly easy to edit shots for accuracy of data. Fairways, putts off green, penalty shots etc. The best hidden feature is the yardage tracking after each shot. Just swipe up from bottom and see how far you are from the last hit. Great for helping you find blind and wayward shots in rough, etc. If you want to take a practice shot during round, leave phone in your cart so it’s not recorded. Easily see your club yardage averages and longest shots for each club. I’m really looking forward to a season of accumulated data to tell me the facts of my golf game..Version: 2.9.3

Awesome response time and great productPacked full of features and I recently had a couple of sensors fail and it was so easy to sort. Updates keep coming too. A great product!.Version: 4.4.15

Great app for distance and shot trackingI live in Canada, I have been using the Arccos for a year and have not encountered any issues at all like other reviews suggest. Yes there are times where Arccos doesn’t pick up a shot here and there but you need to check your app after every shot to confirm it’s been captured. This comes down to user error more so than software/app issues. I swear by this app now and rely on it heavily. The new Arccos Link allows me to leave my phone in the cart instead of having it in my pocket which was a plus. The big factor to my unregistered shots was my phone microphone (which is how it detects the sensors) was getting blocked off because I wasn’t checking to make sure my phone was in a good position in my pocket first. The caddie is a good feature, it takes a while to build up trust to it but it has helped my game. The shot tracking and results from all aspects of my game have helped reduce my handicap. This is a great system that takes some getting used too, in this day and age people have zero patience so I can understand the poor reviews. You need to put in a minimum amount of rounds for the algorithm to work properly so have some patience and let the technology do the work for you. Don’t just panic and leave a negative review..Version: 4.3.3

It’s okay, could be betterOverall, the app is good at its intended purpose. I’m not sure what happened in the most recent update, but it’s becoming more and more difficult to start a round on the Apple Watch (Apple Watch Ultra, latest OS, all saved and downloaded courses, within 5G service). Recently I’ve needed to start a round on my phone, then the watch picks it up, stop the round on my phone, and then restart the round on the watch. After playing nearly 50 rounds with the sensors I’ve noticed that more and more shots are not being detected. Not sure about the average lifespan of the sensors, but as that’s not an app issue, I didn’t knock points off for that. Lastly, it’s extremely difficult to take penalty strokes if needed. If a shot is detected, and then a penalty stroke is added and another shot is then detected, it should automatically add that second shot even if it’s with the same club. This is a very easy sequence of events that can be listened to (you already are listening to shot/swing events within a certain sequence to not have practice swings count as shots if within mic range of playing partner’s shot) in order to drastically improve the UX of penalties..Version: 4.59.0

Early adopter enjoying the rideI got an arccos bundle 3 years ago. I love the range Finder feature on my phone and I love how well it integrates with my Apple Watch; I just glance down and I know exactly I need to hit it to front middle and back pins. Now that the app pairs with the USGA it has even more Utility. I would say I’m fairly reliant on arccos’ many features and ease of use. I have improved from a 15 to an 8 handicap since getting arccos caddie by using the strikes gained analytics and actually focusing my practice sessions. My only complaint in that I didn’t get the smoke package sensors when I had the chance!.Version: 4.45.0

Very good concept but app need some workThe function of measuring the distance to hazards or your landing area is just a struggle it is not working properly, not user friendly. Other similar gps apps are outperforming Caddie with this function. When I am on the tee, I tap where I want to measure to, sometimes it work sometimes not. Then if I want to move the landing area it want to swipe to the next hole or sometimes just not move the landing area at all..Version: 4.2.5

Works great, editing can be tricky, app is expensivePurchased the 14 sensor set. I have used for2 rounds so far. I’m not as picky about my stats although I like to know distances for driving and approach to greens. Editing your round isn’t as straightforward as it should. Additionally, I contacted Arccos regarding the cost of their app. I feel $12/month is excessive, but it’s nice to get the first year free. I suggested an annual discount which would be a welcome cost-cutting change! Overall, I’m enjoying the ability to keep track of my game..Version: 4.63.0

Superb productGreat product that works very well throughout NZ. Picks up 99% of non putting shots and offers great stats etc. The companies service re updating holes or dealing with any issues is 2nd to none and they are always trialing new things to take the product to the next level ie Apple Watch and Link..Version: 3.4.1

Bugs need fixing ASAP!!!This app used to work really well for me. But lately it’s been acting weird. I have the Apple Watch app as well and mid round, they’ll both go haywire. I’ll look at my watch and it’ll a display a jacked up distance such as 3^.. then when I look at my phone, none of my shots have been tracked and it’s telling me I’m a million miles away from the hole. This has happened my last two rounds. If this happens again, I’m probably just gonna chuck Arccos out the window and go with the Garmin tracking system which is very similar to Arccos, but due to Garmin’s worldwide notoriety, I’m sure there’ll be minimal issues..Version: 3.0.2

Incredible game changer!I am in awe of the insights the Arccos system is giving me. It is beyond amazing. It enables me to go far beyond the usual metrics (e.g., putts, GIR) and understand where I need to improve to improve those metrics. As a recreational golfer, I have used Arccos to change my course management, thereby lowering my scores by nearly ten strokes a round quickly. I also have found their customer support to be superb. My home course is comprised of a twelve-hole course and a six-hole par three course. Only the former had been mapped by Arrcos, so I called customer service and spoke to a kind and sharp gentleman named Wyatt. Within two days, the six-hole par three had been added…wow! If there’s a better secret weapon than Arccos, it hasn’t been invented yet!.Version: 4.21.0

If your not using this, then you’ve already lost to the players that are!Arccos golf took just a few months to take my golf to a level I’d been trying to reach for years. I’m now far more knowledgable of my club distances and as a result my greens in regulation have gone from 33% to 66%. This app helps you to quickly analyse your own game and learn not only how to play better on the course, but practice better on the range..Version: 4.11.0

Starting roundI use my apple watch for registering my shots, but I have to use my apple phone to start the round. I used to be able to start the round on the first tee or anywhere on the course, but the last several months I have to be within wifi range to start the round, otherwise it doesn’t detect my watch and will only allow me to start my round on my phone. A phone is too heavy to carry in my pocket so that is why I want to use my watch. But if I forget to start the round inside the clubhouse or I go to the driving range first, I cannot start the round on my watch. That is a really big step back from how it was..Version: 4.23.0

Slow every time you open it up!Every time I open up the app It takes ages to find the nearest course, which wouldn’t be a problem if I was just about to start a round, I can preempt this. Sometimes though I just want to go on it for others reasons. If because, searching for a course close by is causing the app to run slow and freeze maybe just remove this and when we want a course we can just type the name in ourselves. This would be much better than waiting five minutes for it to find the course we don’t want, to the click off it and then be able to use the rest of the app. On the course it’s great. Off it, not so good. Cheers.Version: 2.8.6

Useful, but slow software update progressWhilst I find the data useful, and the sensors generally work well, I am somewhat frustrated at how little change had been made to the analytics available and how slowly any noticeable change had appeared in the app and the web portal. The website has had the same ‘Beta’ features for nearly a year without any change & I'm starting to wonder whether coughing up the ££ for shot scope and Theo analytics may be better value? It’s a great concept but the software needs to evolve..Version: 4.11.9

Not reliableSorry guys, second game with it and missed shots on majority of holes. And the app crashed and I missed the last 2 holes. Will remain with my Garmin app and watch..Version: 4.16.2

FreezeI often find the ask caddie function freezes, come up with error, sometimes multiple times during the round.Version: 4.17.0

Black MagicThis is the best piece of technology on planet earth. If you can handle the ego hit of the GPS taking a couple dozen yards off of the distances you thought you could hit each club, then this is a must have for anyone like me who is nerdy and obsessive about how to improve their game (and as the app will tell you, my game leaves lots of room for improvement). Tons of fun, and once you play enough it actually works as a caddy. I’ve played entire rounds based on the recommendations in the app and I trust it’s judgement even more than my own..Version: 4.4.10

Arccos reviewSadly I’ve not been able to play too much at moment but I have had these for almost a year now and as some previous reviewers have mentioned, it has missed the odd shot. Nothing is perfect in the world of apps and this is in my opinion one of the best apps on the market. I have the screw on sensors and no issues at all, always check on taking club out and check on putting away and have never lost one. The stats are superb and informative. I have used the garmin ct10 and they are also good but not as comprehensive as arccos. Expensive membership? Yes! Worth it? Depends on what you want from an app and know where your game needs to improve. Nothing is free these days and arccos do carry out regular updates. There are negatives to the app in so much as it can be fiddly at times in regard to adding or removing shots, penalties etc. this is more I think user error on my behalf, however I do struggle with it at times. I use my phone as I have found the link too unreliable and difficult keep attached without adding a lanyard. Some have mentioned placing on your shoelaces sand I have not tried this yet. Hopefully getting an Apple Watch soon so will see how that goes. Go for a 45 day trial, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed but if you are just cancel. 45 days is a good amount of time to make a informed decision on the product. Just remember that some functions will not work until you have played at least 90 holes (5 games) ..Version: 4.50.0

Doesn’t display clearly on IPhone 12 miniThe display does not shrink to fit the iPhone mini screen size so there are sections of the data that are difficult to read. As a result I can’t read some of the stats as I cannot pinch to shrink or scroll to make it visible..Version: 4.59.2

Best GPS & Stat tracker in the world!I’ve used GameGolf, Garmin & ShotScope, and Arccos is by far the best system out there, with your level stats. The Caddie feature is great to plot rounds when I’m visiting courses I’ve never played. The GPS with maps is spot on to find layups and carry distances over trouble, and in practice mode I’m able to get elevation changes on distances, which is great to mark out in course planners etc. But the Tour level stats is what really makes the investment into this product so good. I’m able to see how I perform against a handicap level I’m aiming for with the Strokes Gained metrics. And with free access for all PGA Professionals, I can work with my coach on particular parts of my game that need improvement, through a specially designed Professionals Dashboard just for them. It’s such a good, unique feature and can and does benefits all levels of golfers. I believe in the Arccos product so much I’ve become a global ambassador for them, and I’d NEVER put my name to something I don’t truly believe in!.Version: 4.78.0

Only as good as the appI love the idea and, when the app works, it’s really cool. Unfortunately, the app crashes all the time. Most of the time, the app won’t open on my phone. The Arccos symbol appears for a minute and then it’s gone. To use the app, I have to delete it, reinstall it and hope it makes it through the round. It’s not really usable and the frustration detracts from my round rather than enhancing it. When they get the app to work, it will be fun. I will post back here once it’s working right. Until then, a two star review reflects hope for what this can be..Version: 2.8.0

Really helps identify areas to improve your gameFrom club distance tracking, to providing insights on where you’re giving away strokes, this app/product has been very helpful in me finally breaking 100 consistently. If I stopped drinking during rounds, I’m sure I’d be talking about 90’s… but nobody likes a quitter. Developers: Whatever updates have been made this year have zapped the battery life when I use my Apple Watch to track my swings. I haven’t been able to finish a round before my watch dies. Another improvement would be a best ball/scramble tournament option. Something where you can mark your shots, but exempts the score from your stats..Version: 4.54.0

OutstandingHave used this app and sensors for over a year now. Love it. My local course recently changed a hole and I submitted the change, which took effect immediately. The feedback you get from the statistics is amazing and provides crucial data. The only issue is when using an iron around the green for chip and run, that distance is used to give overall average distance..Version: 4.59.2

Loving the App!I’ve really been enjoying using the app and sensors over the last couple months, the stats help massively with pin pointing what you need to work on in your game. Also helps with getting more out of golf lessons, very non intrusive once all setup it misses the odd shot but easily sorted on the app. Also I love the fact it incorporates wind and elevation to give you plays like distances which I’ve not seen in any other golf apps I’ve used. Couple things I’d like to see added, when your playing you get the wind speed and direction on the screen. It would be great to see that on the screen when reviewing your shots/round from the activity page. Reason being I might of hit a 7 iron 10 yards shorter than normal and it could of been a slight miss hit or could of been wind into face but I might not remember after the round, seems like an easy thing to just apply over the hole overview. One other feature request I would like would be able to remember pin positions from the previous round, i play regularly at the same course and the pins may be in the same positions when I last played. So it would be great to have the option to have previous pin position option when you start your round. Thanks and keep up the good work!! #feature-request.Version: 3.9.9

Nothing comparesI have tried many apps like Golf Shot etc, but nothing compares to Arccos. The accuracy is fantastic, and the data provided is next level. The caddie feature makes a seamless in knowing what club to use. I recommend getting the link it works far better, and also let’s you leave your cell phone in the cart. If you want the best tracking system then this is it hands down. I have used it for three years now and will never switch, well done Arccos!!.Version: 4.51.0

Improved FeaturesGreat to see the new app features to optimise use of the Apple Watch. This addresses issues with battery life and missed shots detection. PS customer support is very good when assisting with questions..Version: 4.5.5

Amazing appI was not sure I would like the app but it’s a real game changer. If you love your stats and looking to improve your game you have to get Arcoss. I have been using now since they launched and won’t go back..Version: 4.10.3

AwesomeI bought an Arccos system recently after a really painful experience with a rival brands newly released product. It was great, it hardly missed a shot today and I could use my Apple Watch to update gimmes etc. I played in a match switched the app to tournament mode and then couldn’t take my phone out of my pocket, my Apple Watch gave me the distances and I correctly logged all of my shots! The stats look really useful too.Version: 3.4.0

Can’t Wait for SpringI decided to purchase the Arccos System after having battery issues with my Game Golf Live unit (I was a Game Golf user for close to 6 years with 400+ rounds, but wasn’t interested in upgrading to their “Pro” unit). I took advantage of the Bundle pricing, getting the system during our off season in Canada, but was looking forward to seeing how the SG stats work within the Caddie app. I realized that I had all of the shot information in my Game Golf system, so I was able to manually add some of my past rounds into the Arcco system. This allowed me to become familiar with the app, but more important, let me see the Caddie app work with real data. Can’t wait to get out on the course and take that information to the next level..Version: 4.3.3

Distances on Home ScreenWhen can we have an update that shows distances on the hole screen without having to always unlock my phone?.Version: 4.5.5

Gold standardThe gold standard of score/Stat keeping. GPS is not always accurate, like any GPS system. Any serious golfer should consider arccos.Version: 3.9.7

Watch synch at end of round working brilliantlyWell done! Previous problems now solved. Easy and fast to use..Version: 4.4.6

Even better than expectedBeen using the sensors for a few weeks and it has given me much better understanding of my distances. I have been overestimating my driver and hybrid carry by some way and underestimating 6 and below. Make sure when you pick up on hole you press finished hole button as that caused some confusion but otherwise great..Version: 4.11.11

Excellent app to see stats and where to improve. It’s an excellent golf app, and ideally I would have given it 4.5 stars out of 5, but the updates they bring regularly, are consistently making it better. I use the app with my Apple Watch, I find the yardages to be accurate, the stats that you get are really in depth, and an excellent way to optimise practise time. I showed the analysis to my golf coach, and he then tailored a lesson to the areas I needed to work on. Definitely take the advice the app give you on board to help lower your scores. I would say on average 5-10 shots are missed with the occasional putt, but with the new “hotspot” update, it is really easy to go back through the round and add in any missed shots. A few of my sensors stopped working, but the support team were really helpful, and sent through replacements promptly. I think the sensors and subscription are worth the money, especially if you play regularly and are keen to improve..Version: 4.15.0

Great TechI love that it tells you what you need to work on and where you’re doing well. Agreed it does miss the odd shot but it’s quick and easy(ish) to add it in manually. But sometimes it’s because you’re just a little be quick or those two or three attempts out of the bunker got the app thinking it was a mulligan..Version: 4.10.3

Working out my distancesArccos has been so good getting my head around Club distances and giving tips with what I need to work on as I’ve just got my handicap and started playing more regularly and was in need of some direction to clean my game up.Version: 4.60.0

CanadaI haven’t been able to use the app yet because still in off season but I wanted to help anyone stuck with getting your sensors here in Canada. For the zip code, all you have to do is put a space in the middle when entering postal code. For example, N4S3Y7 won’t work but N4S 3Y7 will. I hope this will help anyone stuck and I can’t wait to get out to some courses to try this out..Version: 4.3.3

Super app/super systemI have been using this for over a year now, only minor issues, sometimes when greens are close to next tee it does not move on a hole. However, my handicap came down 5 shots last year & the arccos system most certainly helped me achieve that, so now playing off 13 and hoping to come down further this season..Version: 3.4.0

Excellent golf tracking appI’ve used the app and detection sensors for about 2 weeks and it is really good. The only fault I have is the detection on the Apple Watch because it doesn’t always pick it up. The Caddie suggestions are accurate and it is a good way of seeing where your shots go. If you can afford the sensors and the subscription then get this as it saves going into an app to put each club after each shot. I’d like to see a better Apple Watch detection which means 4 stars from me..Version: 3.9.9

Brilliant golfing appHave used this for about 2 years and love it. Yes you may have to edit a few shots after the round, but I live the fact that it collects all your shots and automatically advances holes etc. I use with my Apple Watch which shows the distances to F-M-B of green, which is all I need. If I do need more info I can use the phone to get distances to hazards etc and move the flag location. However, the major plus for me is that I don’t have much interaction with the phone, which stays in my pocket and I don’t find it a problem being there. Support team are good and respond within timescales..Version: 3.4.2

Useful but not totally accurateDefinitely interesting to see the stats it produces and to review your round shot by shot. The problem is it’s not accurate at all with putting, at least when you’re using just a phone to track. Maybe the Link device would be better for putting if it can hear the sound better? So the overall scores it produces are useless - it said I one putted an 81 footer on 18 which would be cool, buuuut…. Still, the rest of the club data and seeing which shots I can make regularly vs hitting bricks is pretty useful. Might try it with the link device and see if it’s better..Version: 4.50.0

App issuesThe concept is amazing I really want this to work however I’ve had multiple app crashes I wouldn’t really be bothered if I wasn’t paying £90 per year when I think about it what am I actually paying for. On multiple occasions I’ve had to remove the app and reinstall.Version: 4.3.9

Best golf appI use that app every game and it helped me improve my game very much.Version: 4.50.0

ArccosGreat but sometimes misses a short 60 degree lob wedge shots.Version: 4.9.0

Unbelievably good…I had purchased a set of Cobra irons recently, and they had sent me a set of Arccos sensors. After just one round… the easiness, feedback, and overall understanding of your game and where you need to improve, and where you’re doing well is unbelievable. I have never been this excited to use a game improvement/tracker in my life. Anyone who is wanting to get serious about the game, and make improvements should absolutely get this app and get some sensors. If I could rate this a 6/5 I would Cheers Arccos team!!!.Version: 4.56.0

Does what it says it doesIt does what it says it does. Drains a lot of battery is main drawback, but you’d expect that for an app operating for four hours while accessing the internet and using gps non stop. Recommend keeping your score to track though because putts aren’t always accurate. Not surprising given the proximity of your putts may be less than a metre so it would be hard to differentiate strokes, practice putts, walking with putter, etc.Version: 3.3.4

Love using it. Please add length of putts holes.I love Arcoss. Very insightful and helping target key areas of my game. I would love to see the stats of total length of putts holed for the round as a statistic. We routinely hear of pros holing 100 feet of putts in a round. I would love to easily see what I am hoping. Easy to calculate as have all the data already. I have to do it manually currently.. It is a key stat on PGA Tour so think it should be added..Version: 4.59.2

Good with room for improvementOverall it works pretty well. Missed shots here and there but still a good experience. The one item I would addressed is the course preview. It should allow us to plan our play vs the caddie. The caddie will, at times, ask me to lay up on a par 4 when it’s within a 150 yards. Pretty silly. Also, as a fyi, the watch option is great except it drains the battery and barely last about 7 holes. It does have a good feature that will allow you to proceed with the iPhone so you can still continue your round. Thanks!.Version: 4.13.0

Love itLove my Arccos system. If you are looking for on the course information, wind, distance etc this is a must have. Not only is it great during the round but the information and feedback it gives you after the round is incredible. If you have a Apple Watch it works great with it so that you don’t have to carry your phone in your pocket. I’ve been playing golf for over 35 years, and this is the best thing I’ve bought to help improve my game. If your looking for on course information and post round information this is a must have!!!!.Version: 4.9.5

User errorI’ve used these for almost a year now with the link and Apple Watch. Yes they miss the odd putt but nothing major. Read lots of 1 star reviews with people having issues and would like to point out these people are having “user errors”. My son got the also a few weeks ago and was having issues but whilst playing with him I should him how to correctly use them and now he has little to no problems. Also reviews complaining about the pins on greens being off???? Pins move on greens everyday so yes your correct but developers can know pin placements with the link you walk to the flag and press the button then the pin is set correctly and sorts that for everyone using the coarse that day. As a new golfer I’ve found arccos fantastic and yes it’s pricey but for me worth it. Just make sure you spend a little time to figure out the quirks and you’ll get everything out them..Version: 4.9.5

Love this appArccos has added tremendous enjoyment to my game.Version: 4.13.0

Great when it worksI’ve been using Arccos for a year now and I bought a Link. The Link does allow you to leave your phone in your bag or your cart - I have lost the link 2x and luckily for me it has been turned in to the Pro Shop both times. I used to put the Link on the edge of my pocket - since losing it the second time I put it on my belt. The sensors you screw into your clubs eventually die - replacements should be free for App subscribers. Each year a fresh set of 3-4 sensors should just be mailed to subscribers. Yeah that’s a cost to Ping / Arccos but it will do a better job of retaining subscribers. I think the data has made me smarter about Club distances for sure and I’ve lost some strokes as a result of understanding my distances and my frequency of leaving approach shots short. It’s a great app - feeling like it will be that much more valuable for me when I have dozens more rounds logged! I recommend the App / Sensors / Link but just realize there is an annual cost to maintain all of this!.Version: 4.11.6

Love the productReally great and useful product. Have just completed 36 holes with it and although there’s room for improvement it’s still very good. Would like to see options for picking up the ball in Stableford competitions for example. Also, for some reason the App hasn’t installed on my Apple Watch. I’d really like to get that working. Keep up the great development..Version: 4.3.2

Almost great but misses the markAlmost a great product -- but consistently misses shots / puts depending on if you use the watch function or not -- So every round, I still take a score card and have to reconcile it against the app -- Really, That's not the deal breaker for me though -- it was the customer service. I tried Renewing my account out on the course and could not. It locked me out so I was not able to track a round for a tournament, it took customer service almost 2 weeks to unlock with more rounds going untracked, and then they offer literally zero service recovery for the inconvenience. Over that time I decided this was not worth my time and energy, theres a lot of other tools out there -- For being a service / subscription based company, their leadership should consider some type of service recovery as golf tools used out on the course are such a word of mouth type of referral source -- Unfortunately, I will not and would not recommend..Version: 4.15.0

Good appI note from other reviews mention of crashes and that people are unable to go a full round. I have used the app and sensors for about 2 years and have no such problems. I find the system to be accurate, reliable and very informative. I thoroughly recommend to all. I have recently played to courses that had been updated. One hole made longer another sand bunkers added. I emailed across support who responded the same day and made the course alterations almost immediately. Fantastic customer support..Version: 3.0.10

Latest release is broken.Love this app on general but the latest version stops running and misses most shots. This is a new problem for version 4.40 but prior to that the app was great. Roll it back until the bugs are fixed please..Version: 4.4.0
