✓ Great Program!This is an excellent program. As a new KNFB Reader user, I read all the directions first. I find that it works exactly as it is supposed to. I have read the negative reviews, and I wonder if previous users are trying to do things the old way, without having read the instructions. I love this program! ✓ Useful for my mailThis is so helpful when I’m checking my mail. First I put the envelope in and it reads me the front of the envelope. and then I know whether I need to actually look at the inside. ✓ One step readerWell, it reads PDF files great, and taking pictures is currently difficult but once you get one that it can read, it does very well, I would like to see this app be supported by video and without having to specifically line up a picture be able to read rapidly what it sees in real time, also I’d like the PDF files to be able to be downloaded directly without going through a cloud service..Version: 3.5

KNF reader enables me to take a picture of the printed word and allow my phone to read what is written. This saves me getting out my pc and scanner. ✓ Read PDFsI have used the KNFB Reader way back when it was only available on a cell phone and a clunky device that put the camera and phone together. This app improves that immensely, but compared to some free apps, I believe it is overpriced. I do however appreciate the fact that it does a pretty good job reading PDFs..Version: 3.2

✓ Couldn't be without itI am a 69-year-old male, into thousand and eight, had a medical procedure go wrong, was in a coma for three months time died eight times, and was reminded 26 times, I had turtle sceptres throughout my body, at one point the medical Doctors requested permission to turn 28 machines off and let me know, because of the amount of brain damage and organ failure, I had 28 machines connected to me trying to revive my organs, I suffered extensive brain damage, with the majority of my brain considered not to function again, fortunately, somebody said he's not DNR, and when I came out of the coma I was totally blind, and well handicapped, I have now had 25 major strokes, and have regained quite a lot of my vision, but my brain cannot lead down to 5 words, so yes one step is vital to me many thanks to all involved with one step from Jason Vickers.Version: 3.5
✓ Very useful but expansiveI love using this app. It helps improve my quality of life by getting access to information I would need sighted assistance with otherwise. The only negative is that it’s very pricy so I would recommand lower income users to wait for periods when it is reduced to get it. Dyslexic students must-have.This is an incredibly powerful, accurate and user-friendly app. I have used Claro-read on my PC for several years and this is definitely up there with it in the quality stakes. The great advantage is that I can dip in and out of books and skim read like other students, without having to scan entire chapters as PDFs first. You can even use it in the library with a pair of headphones. Stunning. The only thing I would improve is the functionality for saving documents you have just scanned/red, which I haven’t got my head round yet. (48 hours after downloading, still head over heels in the honey moon!).Version: 3.1
