✓ Used to like this appI used this app and liked it a lot when I traveled to the UK last year. With the update, it's useless. Either no train data is available or it pops up with a box to purchase the full app. Don't bother look for another free train app. This one is useless unless you are willing to purchase..Version: 3.150

✓ On the day only & pushy for paidThis app is constantly pushing you to pay for their pro features and will only let you look at journeys that are on the day in the free one. My biggest problem with it though, is when trains are delayed, it just changes all of the times for that train (without notifying you), rather than having the original time and the delayed time below or next to it. Seems like a small problem, but it constantly makes you think you’ve missed your train or the train you were planning to get has disappeared. Please add the ability to save journeys too so you can track them after you’ve found them..Version: 5.1.7

✓ Just badDeveloper has spent too much time trying to make a custom UI instead of making it work properly, simultaneously making the app less reliable and clunky when they could’ve used standard UI elements. A good example is using three letter station codes, great nice idea but then searching WAT for London Waterloo returns no result for this station without a fair bit of scrolling. If you then go to set the destination station the scroll doesn’t return to the top which is crazy, I’d hate to imagine what happens if you’ve scrolled down a long way and there aren’t as many stations in the list. A third example is... never ever turn your phone sideways unless you want a UI explosion. It just completely looses the plot in landscape. Crap app, shame given how much time they put in..Version: 4.0.2
✓ Disappointing limitedI used to use the great train times app by agant but this seems to have stopped being maintained. Therefore tried this one but it’s rubbish as far as I can see, doesn’t let you search for journeys, only departures and arrivals at stations. Everything else is a paid upgrade and annoying ads. ✓ OkIn common with other apps using this api, gives incorrect information where there are multiple routes between two endpoints. ✓ No idea what it costsThe app seems good, although it’s no better than an old app of the same name that I’ve used for years (no longer available). It lacks a nice graphic that tells you where a train is, which saves you comparing times against each station with the actual time. What concerns me is that when start to use the app you get taken to a screen that says you get a free trial period after which you’re billed. No idea how much or how to opt out after the trial. I’ve deleted the app and now have to wait to see if I’m billed..Version: 5.1.7
✓ Obscured informationThe irritating and distracting random fact display needs permanently removing, apart from being both of the above it obscures important information . Please sort it out I paid £ 4.99 to remove adds and am unable to view the very station that I’m travelling to ? PS I have reported this but I’ve not heard from the support team ???.Version: 4.0.7
✓ Better apps availableI found it annoying that the app requires payment immediately. It is deceptive as it downloads as ‘free’ but does not even allow to search for a return journey without signing up for a weekly subscription. There are other apps that offer basic features for free..Version: 4.0.9

✓ AvoidI couldn’t even use it to search a journey, it was nagging for payment before I could even input my journey details. What’s the point of allowing free download but then not letting people even use it with out demanding a payment subscription? Installed and uninstalled in less than 5 mins.
