✓ Location sharing shouldn’t be requiredI would have loved to try the app out, but I deleted it after seeing that I was required to share my location. Hard pass. Forcing users to share their location when your app does not offer any sort of service where that is necessary is not cool. It’s obvious it’s for data collection. ✓ Not very useful but hilariousI downloaded this app to read instructions off a Japanese product. It was easy to use but the translating was all wrong. Though the outcomes were quite hilarious. It translated "When your finished, you can deliciously eat it" to "If you can, deliciously eat a person". It did give me a small idea on what the instructions said, but overall not reccomended for serious situations..Version: 3.0.3

✓ Forget using it on simple ChineseI tried several times on a 16 pt 1 character label and other more complicated labels, every scan was unrecognized. I tried premium figuring I needed more practice, but in the end no amount of effort could read any Chinese label. Sorry, it is a great idea, if it worked. Maybe it will improve with age. Also, beware their privacy policy is pretty broad, maybe worth it for the function, but now do I delete or wait, as it says they can use the data even when not using the app? Geotagging every menu I try this on and selling the data, might be someone’s idea of fun, but not mine unfortunately..Version: 3.3
