VCA Messenger for Negative User Reviews

Never works anymoreThe updates app constantly requires that I fully sign in with my pin and VCA email. It’s obnoxious and completely defeats the point of texting clients. It also freezes all the time and I have to delete the app and reinstall it. It’s basically useless at this point..Version: 3.2.1

Unstable. Have to delete and reinstall often.App is unstable. It often fails and I have to reinstall. I’ve deleted and reinstalled 3 times this week. I OFTEN have to re-enter full credentials rather than just my 4 digit code. Why is this? It takes a long time to log back in..Version: 3.2.1

Awful.Unusable since this app was launched. No fix in sight. Awful..Version: 1.3.5

Very glitchyVery glitchy. If I open it once it will freeze and won’t open again until I delete and reload it. So I end up having to do this multiple times a day. And clients probably wonder why I’m not replying to them. Also wrongly displays when messages are sent (most messages show ‘Yesterday’ after a few hours). When it works like it should it’s great, but that’s not very often..Version: 4.6

Decent experience overallI’m currently a VCA DVM in Denver. Overall, the app has worked well and allowed me to communicate with clients without having to be on WoofWare. The main issue I’ve had is that the app freezes and won’t load when being opened through the scheduler app. I’ve had to delete and redownload the app twice now. Hopefully that bug will be fixed..Version: 3.2.1

Not sure how to useHow do I login to use this app? It says it should allow the patients to communicate with the provider and receive pictures. It asks for an email to login but nothing to create an account. When I try to access the app it says I need some mars-group.okta account.Version: 4.6.3

Fix your bugs, pleaseWhen it works, it works well. It does what I need it to do. But most of the time it wont even load the app (yes, I am on VCA wifi) and that alone is beyond frustrating. I have to delete and reinstall almost daily/ weekly. Most of the time i dont think its useful.Version: 3.2.1

FrustratingI downloaded the app to send clients pictures of their pets while boarding and I cannot sign in. It makes me log in tells me it’s setting up my account for a good 3-5mins then goes back to the sign in page. Tried un-installing it and re-installing per my manager and still nothing..Version: 3.2.0

MehI’m reinstalling it yet again. It’s handy when it works, but since it often freezes before the login screen, I worry that if clients message me back I won’t see the texts. It’s also frustrating that it doesn’t save notes directly to the patient’s chart. App hangs up for minutes to hours after using onceI am able to log in and send messages once, then if I leave the app and come back, it will not open again for minutes to hours. This is supposed to be a convenience for us and clients? I think not..Version: 4.6.5

Helpful app, but could use some updatesIt’s a very helpful app to communicate with clients on the go. I appreciate the function of virtual number, regardless of texting or phone calls to ensure privacy. However, the app often is slow and frequently crashes. Also, I have a suggestion. Please make the “Do Not Disturb” setting to allow PM time to AM time (ie do not disturb after 10pm to 8am). It’s not very useful with the do not disturb function to only work during the day..Version: 4.6.3

S-L-O-WThe recent “upgrade” has made it too slow to be useful. Frequent crashes don’t help. Surely SOMETHING could be done.....Version: 4.1

Still needs improvementsIt’s basic functions are too simple for use at a complex hospital like ours. Should have more options for saving or sharing info to a email or Woodware when owners send pictures that need to be uploaded to the account for documentation..Version: 3.2.0

Great...when it worksThis app could be extremely useful. When it works I can text with owners, send pictures, etc. But most of the time I have to fully log back into the app which is super annoying. Every few weeks it won’t load the app and I have to delete it and redownload it. And often the most recent text chain does not show up in the app for a while. Please make this app work better.Version: 3.2.1
