Too SensitiveGenerally this is a great app, however when scrolling up through emails with embedded hyperlinks it is far too sensitive to accidental click through. This need to be made less sensitive or create an option to turn off hyperlink launching..Version: 2.4.4

Used to be good, now it's utterly ruinedThis app is probably great if you never archive unread emails If you do, though, then it used to be great. And then one day Zoho decided to include archived mail in the "unread" number on your home screen. Since then, the app is basically useless unless I want to go through and delete or mark as read over 1000 old emails. You'd think it's the kind of change where you get an option in settings to turn it off, but nope - you're left to try to remember if you had 1014 or 1015 unread messages, and whether that means you have a new email or not What a waste of time. Test your updates in the real world before imposing them on users.Version: 2.2

Almost there, needs bugs sorting 🕷The app was working well and then an update a while ago seemed to introduce a lot of bugs (app closing, notifications not coming through). With each update some issues are resolved but then something else crops up. I've had quite a few crashes. When opening an email from the notification screen it's not in the app. My notifications have stopped working for all accounts when I only disabled them for one account. And so on. It would be great if you could get the niggles sorted 👍🏻.Version: 2.3.8

Fails in so many ways..Sending with attachments is exasperating. Either it doesn’t bother to send the mail...or does and doesn’t record the sent email leaving me guessing did it or didn’t it, so I resend...then eventually go to another mail client asking the recipient if they received my emails, (so very smooth and professional). OR, and this is beyond irritating to both me for the amount of time I waste, and the recipients who end up with a pile of emails to wade thru....Zoho refuses to send emails with attachments in either the order attached, or duplicates an attachment during the sending while leaving off one, yet it is clear on my copy that I sent what I needed to send and Zoho Mail was the one who screwed up. So, in the end, when two emails would have sufficed for nine attachments, by the time I monkeyed around trying to figure out just how much this program could handle sending, three - no, two - no, ah, it must be one. S#1t, each attachment must be sent alone with the description. Lovely. For a long time this mail client has been an exercise in frustration for me, both in the difficulty in using as well as attempting to follow the online “help”. When initially setting up several years ago I needed to ask my son who has two degrees from MIT in Computers and is a successful software engineer. Even he found the whole setup convoluted and confusing..Version: 2.5.2

Very buggyConstantly shows deleted emails from last session; support is handled by bots andnot humans; whenever you get through to support you can tell machines are parsing the email because if you use college-level phrasing you get replies that make no sense, therefore, either it is AI doing the suport or third graders in some foreign country. Avoid this product for secure email; it has more holes than Swiss cheese and the interface is clunky and cumbersome in a Fisher Price kind of way. Read the developer responses; almost none of them address the issues. Fake tech support from another generic Big Tech company. The last dev response said something about my photos being safe - I SAID NOTHING ABOUT PHOTOS!!!!!!!!!!!.Version: 2.5.9

Not Bad But Not SeamlessThe app itself is not bad. I get my email there. However, after I read new emails the notification number stays on about half the time. I’m one of those people who clears all notifications - so this bugs me. I have to log out of the app and log back in. Also, the app put emails in strange folders like Notifications and Newsletters, but it wasn’t really accurate. It’s probably better to let the user decide (and I had to go on the desktop to adjust those folders)..Version: 2.6.2

Decent email clientZoho Email Service is top notch, I’ve been using it for over a year and it works great. The Zoho Mail Client is good and works fine as a client. The only issue I Have found so far is on the iPad when deleting an email. After viewing the email and deleting it you are left still viewing the deleted email. You have to manually select the next email to view. Seems like a small gripe but it bugs me to no end, so much so that I fund myself using the app less and less. Fix this one issue and I’ll be back to using it full time..Version: 2.4.12

Really wanted to like Zoho but....Very visually appealing interface but just fails in lots of big ways. Send an email with two attachments and chances are only one of them will deliver, maybe neither. This has made me look stupid more than a few times. Next is the randomness of disappearing emails. I get a notification about a new email and I open up the app to read the email and it’s not in my inbox???? This almost cost me a job offer because the company had an issue and needed my immediate response. Well that email came through and for some reason went to the notification folder. I had no idea it was there. Luckily I found it just in time to clear things up. Really important emails are being sent to folders that I didn’t want them to. Not good when I don’t have the time to dig through random folders and toggle different views just to pull up an unread email. Then to top it all off the app will just freeze up and crash. WorthlessSince I can’t seem to get my zoho account working via the iOS email widget, I’ve had to resort to this awful app. The entire screen jitters as you type a message and is infuriating. When I copy an email address into the address bar that already has another address, it tells me that the address isn’t valid. When you switch to another app or, heaven forbid, answer a call while writing an email, forget about it. It’s gone. When you switch back it goes back to your inbox without even saving a draft. It’s 2019. An email app should be able to keep itself running in the background. On top of all that it’s quite sluggish. To the point that just deleting emails is a chore..Version: 2.6

Don’t do itIf my email dashboard looked like theirs I’d be a lot closer to being satisfied. This is the most nitpicking, exhausting service I’ve ever seen. Zoho can boast they provide lots of options and control because if the user doesn’t create it, it doesn’t exist right, down to basic expectations. You’ll spend hours searching for emails and content. I get alerts on my phone from senders and can’t find the emails in Zoho. Add diff email accounts and Zoho automatically names them all the same as your primary. I must constantly check to make sure Zoho is sending or giving exactly the info I wanted including time zone. Imagine getting reminders from a clock in a diff time zone. Mine were 12 hrs. late. There’s no integration with calendars, tasks, or reminders. I can’t make changes from the email dashboard. Instead, I have to login into the admin dashboard. There are always lots of icons and arrows to hidden icons everywhere, blocking my view and placed where it doesn’t make sense. In short, this is like buying a car and if you don’t say it needs an engine, 4 tires, front and rear seats, windows, doors, and a gas tank then you get only a chassis with options. What are your options? Everything you expect to already be in a car. So, if you want to fail or spend hours searching or creating your own email service from scratch, then Zoho is perfect for you..Version: 2.7.1

Complete Brain AcheI wanted to see how an email from my gmail account would look when sending it to a client so sent it to my Zoho account now spending hours trying to find out how to quickly whitelist contacts. As it’s a fairly new accounts I don’t have many contacts saved I use it with Mailchimp (recommended not to use gmail) I’ve just found that my email went straight to the Spam box along with several other emails from a campaign I had last month. I don’t want to trawl through my spam box looking for people replying to my own newsletter. There doesn’t seem to be a way of marking the email as not spam other than manually adding each address as they come. Ahhh!!!.Version: 2.6.13

Not very user friendlyThis app is not very user friendly. I regret changing over to it for some of my needs. Like how do I set up folders to file emails in? I tried something and ended up removing an email receipt, don’t know what happened to it. A lot of emails which are not spam go into the spam folder. Others go into a folder called notifications, still others go into one called newsletter, a real pain to check all these folders and hardly none go to the “inbox” folder. There’s no way to move emails around, either only delete them..Version: 2.4.6

Please change your data collection practicesI’ve used Zoho for years; I appreciate the services; I choose it over other services. I’ve even read before that Zoho data collection is lower than others (obviously Google...!) But here on iOS you collect ALL the things and link it to the user. This just isn’t necessary; and as many people are learning is anti-consumer. I’m not leaving yet, but I’ll be studying and researching alternatives. UPDATE: Thanks, Developer(s) for the response and for the link to your Privacy Policy. I’ve read the entire thing now and it doesn’t answer my questions and concerns. Ultimately, my question is how will your Privacy Policy, practices, and data collection keep you competitive with the likes of Protonmail, Tutanota, Edison Mail, or even the default Apple Mail? They all collect MUCH less data than you, leading me to believe you’re collecting more than is actually needed to run a decent email app. Again, I do enjoy Zoho products and services. Use to work until latest iOS 13 UpdateThis app use to work just as you would expect an email app to work; customizable workspace, sleek and straightforward design, etc. However, since I have updated to the latest version of iOS, I can’t reply to any emails. The emails come into the appropriate Inbox, I can read them, but as soon as I hit Reply or Forward, I can not type into the body of the email. The keyboard is there, but it just stalls and freezes. I still can’t get into my email!It’s been six months and I still cannot get into my email. After numerous attempts to rectify the problem they continue to send me in circles. IPhone App BrokenI love the Zoho service, interface, domain, and everything else included. It is the best mail service out there, in my opinion. However, recently an update has broken the app for my iPhone. I am not sure which update is responsible, but now the app crashes within a few seconds of opening. Mail admin could betterThe app itself is good. Lots of options to customise it. Some small comments: - Swipe to view folders is handy. Would be great if I could edit folders in the app. - Swipe actions on email are good. I would prefer it if swipe left was just "archive" instead of a menu. I can at least use the swipe right action for that. - Touch ID security is a nice touch. - Offline replies are very handy. Mail admin is where it all falls down. It's only possible to manage my account on the Zoho website, which is fine except the UI on mobile is unusable: everything overlaps and it's impossible to scroll. Seems to be a problem with the Zoho site in general actually. I know I can always use a desktop computer for the admin side, but it's 2022 and mobile sites should **just work**. I don't want to trust my email to a company that can't get that right. It's preventing me from continuing to setup my account until I can get to my laptop. Only good for Zoho account and not external accountsI have multiple accounts on my device and the only was I can’t partial integration is by going to a browser and adding my external account using POP3. This is useless since I will not have contacts or calendar if I integrate using POP3. I’m surprised this app is still advocating technology and protocols I used 15 years ago. Also the Exchange Activesync connection is flaky of you use another app and right now it’s not even workin. The service almost forces you to use Zoho email app and then another app for everything else. I just ended up Uninstalling this.Version: 2.6.4

Great Idea but app needs workWhen typing on iPhone X, the keyboard lags if you type any faster than one letter per second; crashes when using voice dictation. Also, the search could be improved. On The FenceThe app is great allowing you to log into multiple accounts something I haven’t been able to do on a desktop without logging out of one account into the other. It’s frustrating when you have a personal account and a general business account to monitor. Zoho do offer a lot of great apps within its platform which is great to integrate in your business. The downside is the minimum storage for emails & cost to increase the capacity which isn’t an issue with the likes of competitors. Also, the annual cost to add additional emails addresses gets costly. Minus those inconveniences there’s a lot to like when running a business..Version: 2.6.10

Poor on desktop. Worse on IoSNumerous login fails for me and my business partner on various devices since we subscribed about 11 months ago. System seems unstable. Haven’t been able to access via IoS Mail for weeks now. And via MacMail, not for 4 days now. I resorted to using the native Zoho Mail IoS app. It pings to tell me when new inmail arrives but then it does not show up in my inbox. Asked for support 4 days ago. Still not heard back. Urgh...the interface and vague button icons drive me nutsIt works, but i constantly loose emails and get lost in the interface. Why use a “circle/line” / “no smoking” style symbol to move a spam email to the inbox? I did this and it’s disappeared. Desperately frustrating. Buggy productSince switching to Zoho email it feels like you are always using a beta. I constantly find (and report when I have time) bugs and glitches. Recent ones: Paste not working in calendar unless you type something first, invisible Share button in dark themes and when they recommend to switch to light theme Done button became invisible, contact detail updates won’t sync between the app and iPhone for days, I can go on and on. Zoho needs to invest in quality assurance. I’m tired of being a paying customer turned into a tester. Update: the bugs I ran into were fixed, so far so good, upvoting. Basic stuff doesn’t work like print a message from popout window, fields in Contacts are not updatable, etc. Support is often incompetent and gives you workarounds which don’t work so they haven’t even bother to test themselves. Mail and CalendarLots and lots of issues running the apps vs using the desktop version. App will crash EVERY song time you schedule an even in a team calendar. App also does not give you access to all of your calendars when you want to schedule an event in a particular calendar forcing you to go back to the web browser version. The obvious fix for this was to use Google Calendars instead.....except Zoho blocks all of the emails that would allow you to do so. Gave it 2 stars simply out of generosity. Simple and CleanThe Zoho App is very simple, clean and, sadly, more than limited in fonction, even for the paid user. The Zoho offers maybe too many apps for their capacities to get them to a amazing level, in the ends they release multiple meh apps. Zoho Mail, is limited to only their email account, and you don’t have the possibilities to simplify and centralize all your work. There is limited fonction to share or integration with other working software. Even their paid version subscription is more than limited for the small business. In 2020, you need to help the business to grow, not to slow it down with old limitation of a another era. I can’t understand their business plan, they try everything and miss everything at the same time. Your competition is mostly G-Suite, Outlook in some domain, and you can’t offers equivalent product. You will always stay last with that kind of originality. The Zoho Mail newsletter, why it’s not merged with this? why the newsletters isn’t not more simplify?.Version: 2.6.8

Zoho Mail and Campaign Apps Not ConnectingUpdate: Zoho support responded but haven’t fixed issue. Going on 18 hours, now, of not being able to do anything with this app. Tomorrow I’m looking for a new provider if this issue isn’t fixed by then. Up til now, I’ve been pretty happy with Zoho but this is unacceptable! If you want to use Zoho for private email, it may not be an issue. But, to run a business and rely on Zoho? Better look at all options before deciding. In the past week, there are at least 2 others who wrote reviews here about this same problem. Something is up with Zoho! Have been using Zoho Mail for my business for several months without any issue. For the past 8 hours, I have not been able to sign on to Zoho Mail or Zoho Campaigns using the phone apps. Reinstalling the app did not resolve the problem. My account can be accessed using the phone’s Safari browser. No other apps on my phone are having problems. The issue appears to be with Zoho Accounts login process for the apps. I reported this problem several hours ago & have not gotten a response from Zoho support. This needs to be fixed ASAP or I will have to investigate moving my domain to a new email provider..Version: 2.6

Lots of bugsI don’t think that the developers have spent much time debugging the website or apps. It seems like zoho has the makings of a nice email package, but it is very difficult to make any changes in settings. The only way to get changes to show up in the app is to delete it and download it again. The admin app just doesn’t seem to work at all. If you want to do anything you have to go back to the web. And then the results that show up in the email app are pretty random. I was really hoping for something much better..Version: 2.6.12

It’s ok lack’s storage makes u pay 4 moreAlthough I really enjoy this Zoho mail email service it’s trouble someone sending photos. You’re not allowed to send more than a certain amount of gigabytes. Also once you get too many emails in this email database they shut off any emails coming in. The only way to get those emails to delete old emails or Pay for more storage. Really annoying if you’re using this email for business. I just spent 20 minutes deleting emails and still in my emails are not coming in. Very frustrating. This is not an email app I would suggest to anyone That wants to do business without paying for it..Version: 2.8.8

Works but needs improvementsFor the most part the app works well, fairly basic and fits my needs. I have only been using it for a few days and these are two items that need fix or improvement: 1. When an email body is long, like a newsletter, it’s truncated with a “see more” link at bottom. However, when clicking this link to read the rest of the email, the resulting text is so tiny it’s impossible to read. 2. In the Inbox (or other) list view, instead of saying “Me” it should show my name or nickname. I have several email addresses coming into the same inbox and always seeing “Me” doesn’t help distinguish which “me.”.Version: 2.6.15

Goodbye Zoho and This AppI’ve used two free email accounts, one for several years and the other for about two. During the past several months the older one has received notices of someone other than myself logging in even though I change the strong password frequently. The newer one sends duplicate mails and can’t log in to Apple Mail properly nor on my BlackBerry. Though the newer account would log in here, it would not send nor receive properly sometimes and archived mail could not be found. Hence I’m migrating all contacts out of those accounts in order to move on, and this app was the last straw. The webmail works fine except for the strange notices, but zoho has changed their privacy policy to one less user friendly in the past year or two so I’m outta here..Version: 2.5.5

Everything changed to “no subject” out of nowhereEverything was working fine and then today, when I opened an email, the subject lines in all my emails changed to “no subject”. I thought I downloaded a virus, then I checked and noticed the desktop version is working fine. So I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app. And after I opened it again, there is zero content, everything reads “no subject”. A tech friend advises you have a bug in this app version. Domain mailI’ve set up my domain name email with you for shopify. Account is verified and zoho is activated in my Shopify Domains. Where and how on earth do I view/send/receive my emails. This app just keeps asking to create a domain but says an account already exists for my domain. Can you help please before I move onto another host..Version: 2.7.5

Poor spam handlingThis app put important messages into the spam folder. I couldn’t find any option to recover them, and the icons above are uninformative. I ended up deleting these messages by accident because of that. Disappointing..Version: 2.6.20

Love zoho but the app is a glitch and a halfEvery time i type an email the page “enters” and send what i’m typing off screen. i have to type blindly and scroll up to check it, or just type in my notes and copy and paste it. even then, when i paste, it send the text high off the screen and i have to scroll to get it. very annoying as i love zoho in every other respect. i have the most updated ios and version of the app, please fix this problem if you can other wise i’m probably going to give up..Version: 2.4.5

Ugly, cluttered, redundant interfaceWhen you open the app you will see redundant folders: All Inboxes, Home, Inbox, All Messages. Junk folders alone has two. And you will get confused which is which. Can’t they just make things simple and clean? Perhaps the UI designer is a disorganized person which reflects in the things he does. Another thing is lack of consistency. It is suppose to be a mail app but wait! Why did they mixed in the Calendar which most of us don’t need because we have our own separate calendar. It felt like it’s bring forced on users..Version: 2.6.22

Seems ok but never able to open the most recent emailsAt first it seems modern and well designed and functional but two shortcomings make it unsuitable to use for anything serious * I can see a notification about new email however I am not able to open it for another 10 minutes or so * loading email details when opening from a list can take 2 minutes or more.Version: 2.6.5

Good app, but it’s gotten sluggish latelyIt hasn’t always been slow, but in the last couple of months it’s really slow to respond when checking and reading email. On the plus side, I do like that it’s super-easy to choose between archive & delete. Just would like the speed back where it was a few months back..Version: 2.7.6

App not working anymoreThe app used to work for me but for the past month or so it stopped working. I get notifications to say I’ve got emails but when I try to open them, all it’s showing is the loading icon. I can no longer check my emails from the app. Sometimes when I open the app, it asked me to put in my login details. If I ignored it and close the app and RE-open, it shows that I’m actually still logged in. Everything is updated on my phone. Please rectify this issue ASAP. There’s no point of having this app when I can’t even check my emails. Also, perhaps you can add a “mark all” and “mark as read” feature so we don’t have to do them one by one..Version: 2.6.5

SUPER SLOWI have been using ZOHO app for years, every year it is getting slower. Take several seconds to just open an email..Version: 2.7.5

FrustratingWhen the app was first opened I tried to sign in. But it wouldn’t let me because it said the time was wrong. After I exited Zoho mail and reopened it, I typed tried to sign in again. But this time when I clicked in the email address field the app blocked the keyboard from appearing. Goodness! Raising the rating to neutral. After reinstalling the app I was able to log in. The sign in issues appear to have been an Apple installer issue..Version: 2.7.1

Lost all contactsHi did latest app update now lost all my contacts on zoho.Version: 2.5.4

Ongoing difficultiesCan’t get Zoho Mails to show up in Zoho One CRM, even after repeatedly setting it up to do that. Frustrating. Can’t email a customer using the accounts module. The features are not super connected as promised..Version: 2.6.17
