✓ Love it, but can’t X out of adsMost of your ads cover the full screen and the X to close them after time lapse is so far up in the corner of the screen and so small they can’t be closed and you have to close/quit the app to get back to playing. Doesn’t matter if you click the ad and navigate away - doesn’t let you out of the ad in the game. ✓ Whats up with the ads?I am used to having ads, a lot of them, but there is always a way to get back to the game by closing them once the time is up. This game has ads that you cannot close out of! The X is there but it is not an interactive button. ✓ TOO MANY ADSIf you have not already downloaded this game and have no interest in buying the upgrade then stop right here and DO NOT DOWNLOAD this game. I’ve had it a few weeks and I like it but there are waaaay too many ads for other games that as soon as you open the app you will have forced encounters with ads. I can sit through most ads (as they have led me to some great games) but these ads come through and have the tiniest X to press that are strategically placed at the edge of the left or right top of the screen which you will have to spend extra moments trying to get the right combo to click out (if you can) or keep opening and closing the app which will just generate more ads with the same issue. I have an iPhone 11 and can never click out of the ads and am forced to watch every moment of the ad. The ads are consistent so I’ll try another Alchemy game elsewhere and hope to purchase it. ✓ No ads?So I have an issue of ads covering up the bottom panel of my screen and so I can’t click on the options. So I finally got in to a menu to do upgrades and I bought the no ad feature. However, there are still ads covering up the menu options and I’m also still getting ads popping up. I absolutely love this game due to me playing it a few years ago. I use to rate this as a 5, but until I either get my money back from the ads, or someone to fix this issue, it will remain a 1. Also, I would have bumped it higher if I could at least been able to reach support. The x button to close ads is located “behind” my iPhone’s battery and WiFi status symbols which makes it such that the x button can’t be pressed. Such a great game with a great UI is ruined by this. We are all willing to live with a few downsides if the product serves its purpose and doesn’t labor us more than it provides. For years I’ve played this game off and on and to see this game nearly rendered unplayable by a deluge of ads almost fully missing their exit “x” is utterly disappointing. It’s bad business practice. ✓ Not as good as similar gamesThis game looks very nice, and I like that the playing area is quite large, but I don't like that the elements are in a separate screen instead of in a column on the side so every time I need to grab an element I have to go into a separate menu...just isn't user friendly. Also, the number of ads is ridiculous. Completely ridiculous. But what makes me more angry is the features the game wants you to pay for that come for free on games like Alchemy and Alchemy 2, namely noting final elements. Alchemy 2 actually takes elements off the board when there are no more combinations to make with them, which is very nice. ✓ Waste of timeI downloaded this app because I had a simile app call Alchemy about 10 years ago. This app let me combine the first 7-8 items up until it asked to share on social media or email. I did that and it cleared all my items, kept playing ads that I can’t close bc the X is half cut off. This forces me to close the app and when I open it, another ad plays that I can’t close. ✓ Ok, but needs improvementUI is clunky, but bearable. The biggest problem for me is the combos that don’t make sense. For example, bird+fish did not make a flying fish. Nor any other reasonable, logical combination. Challenging is one thing, but when the only way to find a combo is to try everything, that’s just tedious.
